Delicious food in a very cozy atmosphere. At €17.50 for a large plate, the price is quite high, but the truly delicious food and the wide selection definitely justify it.

We really enjoyed the restaurant, the food, the service, and the atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The buffet is always the same, but I'm glad it doesn't change! I've ordered takeout twice so far and filled my box pretty much to the brim (I always eat EVERYTHING), so they had to tape it shut. I felt a little awkward about that at first, but the staff were so nice and friendly—no dirty looks or anything like that, quite the opposite, they were very, very kind! The atmosphere is wonderful, no harsh lights or anything like that. Perfect if you want to go there to study!

I think the buffet concept is great. I haven't been to Sattgrün in a while, and I've never been to Flingern either, which is relatively small. I was surprised by the prices. The quality and taste are very good.

Wow!! I wish we had this in UK!! Incredible range of food and very helpful staff. Great value for money . Now I come back in colder months. Plates are COLD which means HOT food becomes cold very quickly especially as you pay AFTER putting food on plate. Sort out your plate heating and allow customers to pay BEFORE choosing food.

I recently moved to the neighborhood, and this was the very first restaurant I visited. It turned out to be a wonderful choice—the food is flavorful, the coffee is great , and the staff is warm and welcoming. A lovely spot I’ll definitely return to, and one I can wholeheartedly recommend.

Update: I ate at your place today, August 18th. My stomach was still hurting. It can only be from these foods. Unfortunately. Nice place, especially the best for vegans! The service is sometimes a bit meticulous and strict.

The food tastes really good, but some of it is a bit too salty. The cakes are super delicious, especially the lemon cake! You get generous pieces and with a coffee it's perfect 😋 It can sometimes get a bit narrower and louder, especially when it's full. Nevertheless, the atmosphere is cozy and invites you to linger. The staff are very friendly and keep everything clean and stocked.

Truly the best vegan vegetarian restaurant... 4 hours of driving from our home in France to enjoy it. Everything is very good. Prices are reasonable. 14€90 per bowl. Nice interior and nice street corner terrace. Clean toilets. The only downside, far from the city center! But we gain peace of mind. I didn't like the seitan/tofu medallions but otherwise everything else is really very tasty without being too spicy or spicy. You can eat at any time during opening hours.

A buffet resto without highs and lows. Taste OK, but nothing more. However, it is too expensive for that. Staff are very friendly and it is very clean.

I'm here often. Yesterday the carrot salad tasted very, very spoiled, sour I mentioned it nicely, but unfortunately the girl at the checkout took it kind of badly. At least she replied: I ate it today too and didn't die. I just thought it would be cool if your taste buds were into something like that. But what do you want to tell me? That I should still eat the salad? The girl was somehow very, very unfriendly. My female companion confirmed this to me 2 salads plus 2 still water 22€ And in return I have to eat a salad that tastes rotten to me. When you complain about it, you notice subtly how they don't want you to complain about it! Then make sure your salads don't stink!!!

It was my first time eating here. The shop is small but very cozy. The staff is super friendly and the vegan food is very tasty. The concept is a bit unusual, but makes sense. It's not an all you can eat buffet, but an all you can stack on a plate buffet, because you pay per plate size. If it weren't so far away for me, I would certainly be a regular customer. A great vegan restaurant. We need more like that. 😊

It's my first time here and I have to say the food is delicious as well as the dessert. The staff is extremely friendly and personable. The shop is small but very cozy. I feel very comfortable here. (Which is an important factor for me). I will definitely come back.

Vergy good choice of vegan food.

The buffet was super tasty with self-service. The team on site was very friendly and helpful, especially since it was our first time. We saw couples with small children and a couple with a dog. The place is called hospitable for everyone. We recommend the soup and hot buffet. The cakes looked very attractive, but there was no room left in my stomach.

Love Sattgrün. Food is always good, and the concept of filling a bowl yourself is fast and simple. Both Düsseldorf locations we've eaten in are great!

There are different plate or bowl sizes. You have to choose one, you can fill your plate and only pay for the plate size. There is a selection of salads, warm dishes or soups. It's called self-service here. Then you pay, buy another drink and look for a place to sit. They also offer cake, which we didn't try, but the pieces are large and all homemade. The service is ok, a hello when you come in would have been nice.

Wow just wow 😯 this store is highly recommended for me as a vegan/vegetarian. Personally, I like everything there because everything just looks good. The drinks are also super “hip” (Charitea, …). The prices are also completely okay for the fact that you get such a top meal. It could be difficult for people who are neither vegetarian nor vegan and who are not very open to this cuisine.

Very pleasant place where we like to meet friends for a meal together. I'm looking forward to P & U When we get there again. The treatment of the guests is courteous. When we were the last guests to say goodbye, we were allowed to take a soup to go with us. GUESTS WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY food from the previous day. This is well organized in cooperation with Too Good To Go. It is also popular with groups and families so it can be less quiet during peak times (inside). The vegan clientele here is mostly conscious and sociable!

One of the best vegan restaurants in Düsseldorf 🌱♥️! You pay per plate size and can put as much on the plate as fits on it. Super tasty selection. There is also a very good selection of vegan cakes here.

Too expensive for what it is. Really not great in taste. A lot of over-seasoning and the substitute products seem as if they were simply added to the food so that there are substitute products in it and do not match the taste or consistency of the food. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

I enjoyed the ambitious, vegan cuisine and the uncomplicated self-service, combined with the location. After a walk through the area around Ackerstrasse, I sat in the sun in front of the lush green area and enjoyed my break. The selection is large and varied and the atmosphere is rustic and cozy. During the lunch rush, the staff tried hard but were slightly overwhelmed. In my opinion, the overall cleanliness could still be optimized. But I'd love to come back.

Nice, cozy shop with a great outdoor area. Lots of plants and comfortably furnished. We drank a Bionade (lemonade) here and ate a vegan walnut cake 🍰. Cake and Bionade were both delicious! The only thing that wasn't so “cool” was that you had to get it yourself indoors, but there are worse things. We would love to come here again. The price was around €16 for 2 drinks and 2 cakes.

I used to go there more often. Was there again for a long time 3 days ago. The price has been raised quite a bit, so that the small portion now costs as much as the large portion used to cost - in my opinion far too expensive, considering that there is no expensive meat or fish in it. Unfortunately, the food on offer is never changed, so it's always just the same thing has been going on for years... And to make matters worse, I had severe stomach problems for 2 days afterwards, which could only be attributed to this food. When I just think about lush green, it's already coming to mind. The number is out for me. And I can imagine that if there weren't so few vegan offerings in Düsseldorf, Sattgrün would probably no longer exist - due to a lack of creativity and prices that are now too high. Just because it says “Düsseldorf” on it is no justification for making everything €5 more expensive per se…

Super delicious vegan food. Very friendly staff

I went all out at this fully vegan buffet restaurant. Pick your plate or bowl and load it for a fixed price. Literally everything I tried was tasty. And I tried a lot, because hey, it's a buffet. So many flavors to choose from. Warm, cold, light veggies, raw and grilled. Lots of grounding proteins from beans and tofu and even some meat like substitutes as well. Combine it all with a nice big decaf iced latte with oat milk on a hot summer day and you're all good. Unless you go for one of the huge pieces of cake as well. Quite the challenge. I'll be back for sure.

When you first step into the small, inconspicuous shop on the corner, you feel like you're in vegan heaven; you don't know what to put on your plate first. I tried almost all of the warm buffet dishes and was thoroughly impressed with them all. Super clean and hygienic, extremely nice and friendly staff and the food is checked/refilled every few minutes. The desserts are also heavenly. Price-performance is simply top. As a vegan for over 10 years, I'm ashamed to have been there for the first time yesterday. 100% recommended, even for non-vegans. Thank you for this great restaurant chain 💚

It's called a restaurant. In a restaurant you are served. When I was there for lunch there was no service. Since other guests got their own food and drinks and it was very loud, I had to assign this facility to a canteen. A pity.

The vegan food is super tasty and since you can really fill your plate, the value for money is also right. Both the salads and the warm dishes taste great and you feel really good afterwards. The tables inside are pretty tight, but it's nice to sit outside when the weather is good.

I had a salad from the salad bar. In general the selection was varied and tasty. BUT - the red cabbage, carrot and beetroot salad was definitely not homemade, but a convenience product because it made the whole selection taste sour. A PITY!

This is one of the best restaurants in Düsseldorf. The whole experience is 10/10. Cozy and clean place, friendly and welcoming staff, and the food is amazing.

I was at Sattgrün for the first time today. It's a small, nice and cozy restaurant. Very nice people. The food, yes, was now a bit limp for me. I think it's good that you can take what you want and fill it up. But I think it would be good if, as a newbie to vegan food, you gave something like children's plates for adults 🤣. I've now paid the full amount for sample bites. But you can't please everyone. But the lemon cake was very 😋 delicious. (would like the recipe 😅)

I was at the Sattgrün in Flingern for the first time on Sunday and I have to say, I'm thrilled! The restaurant offers a vegan buffet with a wide selection of fresh and delicious dishes. From salads to soups to curries, pasta and casseroles, there was everything your heart could desire. The portions were generous and the price was fair. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy and modern. I felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. The lush green is a great address for everyone who wants to eat healthily and enjoyably. I give the restaurant five stars and a clear recommendation.

Im not german, so-thats why Im not complaining, this is not way how I see life. And food. And food is life. Especially vegan. My son is vegetarian, he likes this place a lot cause of good atmosphere. Stuff is very kind. Food is excellent.

Our order was missing the bread for the soup and the aioli dip. Some of the food seemed warmed up.
