A buffet resto without highs and lows. Taste OK, but nothing more. However, it is too expensive for that. Staff are very friendly and it is very clean.

Nice shop, especially the best for vegans! The waitresses are sometimes a bit precise and strict.

I'm here often. Yesterday the carrot salad tasted very, very spoiled, sour I mentioned it nicely, but unfortunately the girl at the checkout took it kind of badly. At least she replied: I ate it today too and didn't die. I just thought it would be cool if your taste buds were into something like that. But what do you want to tell me? That I should still eat the salad? The girl was somehow very, very unfriendly. My female companion confirmed this to me 2 salads plus 2 still water 22€ And in return I have to eat a salad that tastes rotten to me. When you complain about it, you notice subtly how they don't want you to complain about it! Then make sure your salads don't stink!!!

It was my first time eating here. The shop is small but very cozy. The staff is super friendly and the vegan food is very tasty. The concept is a bit unusual, but makes sense. It's not an all you can eat buffet, but an all you can stack on a plate buffet, because you pay per plate size. If it weren't so far away for me, I would certainly be a regular customer. A great vegan restaurant. We need more like that. 😊

The food is very tasty, unfortunately I tend to eat too many different things at once. This results in a potpourri of flavors. Service is good and friendly. Ambience, well, it can get very tight.

Great for lunch. Allergens, including gluten-free, are clearly stated on the buffet. Restaurant is very narrow and quite loud.

It's my first time here and I have to say the food is delicious as well as the dessert. The staff is extremely friendly and personable. The shop is small but very cozy. I feel very comfortable here. (Which is an important factor for me). I will definitely come back.

Super delicious restaurant and one of the few where you can order vegetarian from TooGoodToGo. However, I'm missing that certain thing.

Vergy good choice of vegan food.

The buffet was super tasty with self-service. The team on site was very friendly and helpful, especially since it was our first time. We saw couples with small children and a couple with a dog. The place is called hospitable for everyone. We recommend the soup and hot buffet. The cakes looked very attractive, but there was no room left in my stomach.

Love Sattgrün. Food is always good, and the concept of filling a bowl yourself is fast and simple. Both Düsseldorf locations we've eaten in are great!

There are different plate or bowl sizes. You have to choose one, you can fill your plate and only pay for the plate size. There is a selection of salads, warm dishes or soups. It's called self-service here. Then you pay, buy another drink and look for a place to sit. They also offer cake, which we didn't try, but the pieces are large and all homemade. The service is ok, a hello when you come in would have been nice.

The concept is nice, the food is good, the waitresses were lovely (and spoke good English), the deserts were nice too! The place is lovely and nicely decorated I had a great time!

Wow just wow 😯 this store is highly recommended for me as a vegan/vegetarian. Personally, I like everything there because everything just looks good. The drinks are also super “hip” (Charitea, …). The prices are also completely okay for the fact that you get such a top meal. It could be difficult for people who are neither vegetarian nor vegan and who are not very open to this cuisine.

Very pleasant place where we like to meet friends for a meal together. I'm looking forward to P & U When we get there again. The treatment of the guests is courteous. When we were the last guests to say goodbye, we were allowed to take a soup to go with us. GUESTS WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY food from the previous day. This is well organized in cooperation with Too Good To Go. It is also popular with groups and families so it can be less quiet during peak times (inside). The vegan clientele here is mostly conscious and sociable!

One of the best vegan restaurants in Düsseldorf 🌱♥️! You pay per plate size and can put as much on the plate as fits on it. Super tasty selection. There is also a very good selection of vegan cakes here.

Amazing vegan food. İ am not the biggest fan of neither vegan food nor German cuisine, but Sattgrün is a m a z i n g. İ don't give five stars too often- if I could, I'd give 6 stars. Please expand to Mainz !

Too expensive for what it is. Really not great in taste. A lot of over-seasoning and the substitute products seem as if they were simply added to the food so that there are substitute products in it and do not match the taste or consistency of the food. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

I enjoyed the ambitious, vegan cuisine and the uncomplicated self-service, combined with the location. After a walk through the area around Ackerstrasse, I sat in the sun in front of the lush green area and enjoyed my break. The selection is large and varied and the atmosphere is rustic and cozy. During the lunch rush, the staff tried hard but were slightly overwhelmed. In my opinion, the overall cleanliness could still be optimized. But I'd love to come back.

Nice, cozy shop with a great outdoor area. Lots of plants and comfortably furnished. We drank a Bionade (lemonade) here and ate a vegan walnut cake 🍰. Cake and Bionade were both delicious! The only thing that wasn't so “cool” was that you had to get it yourself indoors, but there are worse things. We would love to come here again. The price was around €16 for 2 drinks and 2 cakes.

I used to go there more often. Was there again for a long time 3 days ago. The price has been raised quite a bit, so that the small portion now costs as much as the large portion used to cost - in my opinion far too expensive, considering that there is no expensive meat or fish in it. Unfortunately, the food on offer is never changed, so it's always just the same thing has been going on for years... And to make matters worse, I had severe stomach problems for 2 days afterwards, which could only be attributed to this food. When I just think about lush green, it's already coming to mind. The number is out for me. And I can imagine that if there weren't so few vegan offerings in Düsseldorf, Sattgrün would probably no longer exist - due to a lack of creativity and prices that are now too high. Just because it says “Düsseldorf” on it is no justification for making everything €5 more expensive per se…

Super delicious vegan food. Very friendly staff

I went all out at this fully vegan buffet restaurant. Pick your plate or bowl and load it for a fixed price. Literally everything I tried was tasty. And I tried a lot, because hey, it's a buffet. So many flavors to choose from. Warm, cold, light veggies, raw and grilled. Lots of grounding proteins from beans and tofu and even some meat like substitutes as well. Combine it all with a nice big decaf iced latte with oat milk on a hot summer day and you're all good. Unless you go for one of the huge pieces of cake as well. Quite the challenge. I'll be back for sure.

When you first step into the small, inconspicuous shop on the corner, you feel like you're in vegan heaven; you don't know what to put on your plate first. I tried almost all of the warm buffet dishes and was thoroughly impressed with them all. Super clean and hygienic, extremely nice and friendly staff and the food is checked/refilled every few minutes. The desserts are also heavenly. Price-performance is simply top. As a vegan for over 10 years, I'm ashamed to have been there for the first time yesterday. 100% recommended, even for non-vegans. Thank you for this great restaurant chain 💚

It's called a restaurant. In a restaurant you are served. When I was there for lunch there was no service. Since other guests got their own food and drinks and it was very loud, I had to assign this facility to a canteen. A pity.

The vegan food is super tasty and since you can really fill your plate, the value for money is also right. Both the salads and the warm dishes taste great and you feel really good afterwards. The tables inside are pretty tight, but it's nice to sit outside when the weather is good.

We had three different pieces of cake, all of which were huge and very tasty.

I had a salad from the salad bar. In general the selection was varied and tasty. BUT - the red cabbage, carrot and beetroot salad was definitely not homemade, but a convenience product because it made the whole selection taste sour. A PITY!

The delicious food was good as always 👍 But the price is a bit too high for me personally. The employees seemed very overwhelmed and some of them didn't want to go. And the store wasn't even busy.

This is one of the best restaurants in Düsseldorf. The whole experience is 10/10. Cozy and clean place, friendly and welcoming staff, and the food is amazing.

I was at Sattgrün for the first time today. It's a small, nice and cozy restaurant. Very nice people. The food, yes, was now a bit limp for me. I think it's good that you can take what you want and fill it up. But I think it would be good if, as a newbie to vegan food, you gave something like children's plates for adults 🤣. I've now paid the full amount for sample bites. But you can't please everyone. But the lemon cake was very 😋 delicious. (would like the recipe 😅)

I was at the Sattgrün in Flingern for the first time on Sunday and I have to say, I'm thrilled! The restaurant offers a vegan buffet with a wide selection of fresh and delicious dishes. From salads to soups to curries, pasta and casseroles, there was everything your heart could desire. The portions were generous and the price was fair. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy and modern. I felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. The lush green is a great address for everyone who wants to eat healthily and enjoyably. I give the restaurant five stars and a clear recommendation.

Im not german, so-thats why Im not complaining, this is not way how I see life. And food. And food is life. Especially vegan. My son is vegetarian, he likes this place a lot cause of good atmosphere. Stuff is very kind. Food is excellent.

Ein schönes kleines veganes Restaurant mit Selbstbedienung, die warmen Speise hätten für mich ferne etwas wärmer sein dürfen. Es war lecker und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist gut.

10/10!! Еда вкусная, выбор огромный, персонал улыбчивый!) Ну а если серьёзно, то место правда замечательное. Приходишь, выбираешь размер тарелки и кладёшь на нее что хочешь и сколько влезет. На выбор есть: 1.Тарелки для супа 2.Тарелки для салатов 3. Тарелки для второго У каждой есть маленький размер и большой. Конечно маленький дешевле. К супу полагается два куска хлеба. Единственный, может и маленький, но минус: Некоторые блюда острее чем ожидала, но тут уж я скорее всего немного то выбрала, а в этом виновато отнюдь не заведение!)

I visit every time I’m in Düsseldorf (since it’s not in Berlin!) and love it every time. Food is exceptional and the buffet format is perfect for sampling many things.

Update: Inzwischen ist Qualität und Service wieder auf einem deutlich besseren Level angekommen. Meine Familie und ich fühlen sich wieder richtig wohl bei Sattgrün. Vorher: Leider seit Wochen keine Abwechslung am Buffet. Der Cappuccino ist mehr ein Milchkaffee, vollkommen ohne Michschaum! Sattgrün hat mE. nachgelassen. Schade!

Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Große Auswahl an einer Vielzahl leckerer warmer Gerichte und Salate. Alles wirkt sehr hochwertig und schmeckt absolut prima!

Alles sehr lecker. Nette Atmosphäre. Preise sind auch in Ordnung. Lokal wie Gerichte könnten zum Teil etwas wärmer sein (waren an einem kalten Wintertag dort) für mein Empfinden. Trotzdem 5 Sterne.

Can't say enough positive things about Sattgrun. Because I'm still working on my German I had been a little intimidated to stop in previously to see how it worked, but eventually did and the lovely/friendly staff helped me out. It's just delicious and healthy food. The salad bar alone has more than enough character, diversity and complexity. And it is such a good deal, price wise. I left just feeling full and great. The kind of food where you eat as much as you want and leave feeling like you gave your body nothing but nutrition. It was just a great first experience and I'm already looking forward to going back. :)

Love that this place is all vegan. Buffet style means you can have what you like though unlike say US buffets you cant keep going, as fas as I could tell. But to be fair I had the regular size and filling my plate up was plenty for me. Nice environment in this store too with pleasant outside seating. Newbies like me where not sure 'what to do' in entering but it's all relaxed. Would return

Mega, komplett veganes Buffet. Und glutenfreie Speisen sind auch noch gekennzeichnet für Leute mit Zöliakie. Alles super lecker. Besser geht's nicht.

Wir überlegen immer mal wieder im Sattgrün essen zu gehen, da wir das Konzept sehr gut finden und in der Nähe wohnen. Heute war es wieder soweit. Leider waren wir vom Essen enttäuscht. Der Geschmack eher mittelmäßig, das meiste ziemlich versalzen und das Gemüseangebot war auch mal besser. Wir kommen leider nicht nochmal.

Die Suppen sind sehr lecker…und alles andere auch :) 👍

Als Pflanzenesser haben wir schon oft Alles-Esser mitgenommen, und die waren immer zufrieden. Wir auch, wir sind sowieso Stammkunden. Es gibt leckere Suppen zur Auswahl, ein Buffet an Gerichten und Salaten, wo jeder was findet. Es kostet etwas mehr als sonst, aber man bekommt auch mehr an Qualität als sonst. Am Außenbereich stört etwas der Verkehr, es ist halt mitten in der Stadt. Beim Gespräch blendet man das aber schnell aus, und es ist auch keine Durchgangsstraße. Drinnen kann man auch gut sitzen.

Super 👍🏻 lecker. Die Curries, Boef (veg) Stroganoff u der Blumenkohl mit Zucchini u Möhren. Auch die Süsskartoffel/Kokos Suppe 🍜 und die Salate. Vor allem das Ruccola Zitronen 🍋 Dressing. Vielen Dank 🤩 😊 🙏🏻- die Mama (des Kochs) wäre sicher stolz!
