First of all, I am surprised by some of the strange negative reviews that concern prices and taste. If you don't like the taste of the food, it's not okay to leave a negative review. There's just too much choice, and it could taste better. It's completely unfair to complain about exorbitant prices. That's not the case here at all. Purchase of goods, personnel, energy, lease, and insurance costs have increased enormously! I am a business owner myself and am always amazed at the incompetence of some of the complainants. However, the owner claimed that sales tax had increased by 100%. That is, of course, complete nonsense. On the contrary. It has gone down from 19 to 7. The range of goods on offer is great. The staff have always been very friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable. The presentation and ambience are very good. I am happy to come back.

I've been back for the first time in a long time, and it's improved considerably! The staff is incredibly friendly, the place is cleaned regularly, and the food has improved as well.

I drove halfway across town just to eat here again. I love the buffet, and despite some food intolerances, there's still plenty to choose from. Without exception, everything I tried was incredibly delicious; I was feasting again today.

The best restaurant ever! Every dish was so delicious, we even had to take some home with us! The prices are reasonable too! We'll be back!

This restaurant is extremely good value for money, particularly as this is all vegan food. You can go up once and load your plate at the beginning then pay before eating. Had a large buffet meal, and an apple crumble dessert with vanilla cream, which was amazing. As this is a buffet, the meal is what you make it, you can either stick to salads, or get curries, or stroganoff, or any combination of foods. I was a bit greedy and overdid it here! Others in my party found some of the options they had selected very salty and weren't able to finish their meal as a result. The drinks were also quite expensive (in line with other restaurants). However overall I would definitely recommend a visit for any vegans or non-vegans visiting Dusseldorf.

The food was OK. The service needs better training or at least some German or English, I think her name was (Natalia). And I saw rats again, so that was the last time I was there. I can only warn you!!!!

19 euros for a (large) plate of vegetables? They're really exaggerating. Especially since a few years ago, it cost 13.90 euros or so. And then there's self-service, which was supposed to save money. But it's delicious.

So, I ate there again after a long, long time. The pumpkin soup was very tasty and the temperature was good, but unfortunately it wasn't a soup, more of a purée. There was a lot of choice for the buffalo salad, but a lot of it didn't taste good at all, and there was parsley everywhere. Maybe they should offer that separately; not everyone likes it. The sauces and the bread were great, and the staff were very friendly.

Last Saturday, Sattgrün Düsseldorf provided the culinary accompaniment for the Green Party's Crime Conference (featuring Reul, among others) in the NRW state parliament. Everything was vegetarian, of course. But I was extremely pleasantly surprised. Everything tasted simply amazing. From the soup to the snacks to the cake, everything was freshly prepared and truly delicious. Thank you for that!

You can fill the large bowl or the large plate with plenty of food... enough to fill even I 😜 Everything on offer tastes excellent.

The food is great... even if you (like me) can't buy into all the vegetarian and vegan hype). But there is only a buffet and no table service; The tables are also small and cramped and it is generally rather loud. The outdoor area is a bit more spacious... but is located directly on a busy street.

I haven't been to Sattgrün for a few years. What can you say? Simply nothing has changed. The restaurant is identical and so is the food. Of course, only the prices have changed. How could it be otherwise? The food was delicious. The Abinent remains good. We sat outside. Can't say anything about the service. You basically have to cook yourself ;) But I'll definitely come back again. See you soon.

The food is super tasty, but the plates and cutlery are all dirty. Apparently I'm not the first person to notice this either. Maybe you need to invest in a new dishwasher?

What happened to you? I must have eaten at your place eight or nine times. But the last two times it wasn't good at all. Food lukewarm, you also changed the recipes, everything tasted bland and not good at all. Unfortunately, today was the last time. Too bad

Very nice and very tasty buffet, all the dishes were beautifully presented and tasted great. The restaurant is quite small and when we came in there was only a table for four available and there were two of us. After we ate, the employee who cleared the plates asked if we wanted anything else. I said I wanted to finish my beer and then get dessert. There were people in the aisle waiting for a table and the waitress said to please sit at the next table so that the new guests could sit at our table. No problem, I'm happy to do that, but the neighboring table was only a table for four with two people. If guests have to move around, it is appropriate for the employee to take care of where they should sit down and not leave it to the guests to find out whether the seats are still free and whether they can sit down. I then downed my beer (the employee said: don't rush!) and left because I don't think it's okay to worry about whether I can sit in another seat when I'm serving new guests to clear the table. (Which I happily do when offered an alternative) But that was just a single employee who probably didn't even mean any harm.

Sattgrün has really excellent food, always worth a visit! It's self-service and the spaces are quite small. So not necessarily a restaurant for a romantic date night. But it's perfect for a relaxed meal!

Lots of choice (various soups, salads and warm dishes as well as several types of cakes and a variety of warm and cold drinks). Everything we tried was very tasty. The staff are really friendly and it was pleasantly empty.

There were two of us in the lush green and neither of us are vegan. The concept with small and large plates takes some getting used to and wasn't really our thing, because you have to decide in advance what you want to eat even though you may not know the things and can't try anything. The taste was so-so and the variety left a lot to be desired. There was practically no service because you had to pay at the cash register immediately after the buffet and there was no table service. We had to sit inside due to the temperatures and you can't speak of ambience. It was small and the tables were also very tight. There is seating outside, which of course depends on the weather. Based on what has been said, we only get two stars.

Very good. I loved the place, the idea and my attention. Without a doubt, I would happily repeat it every day. I went to dinner, and even though it was late, there was a lot of variety of food, fresh, healthy and vegan. Both to eat lightly and not to stay hungry. For all tastes. Clean and comfortable place. Daily food. Very kind and correct attention. It is not adapted to people with reduced mobility.

The service was friendly, but I didn't like the food. The dishes are all very fatty and rather heavy. According to the saleswoman, even the salads are supposed to be dressed with oil and sugar. One star for the nice and honest saleswoman.

Unfortunately I didn't like the food, but that's a matter of taste. What I found a bit strange was that I had to pay an extra €2, even though my plate wasn't even heaped, it was just filled. I think you should at least indicate that there is a limit (which can be reached quickly). In addition, the lemon cake was far too bitter and the plates were almost all dirty. Too bad.

I can really recommend these super tasty and varied vegan food. How it works, very simple take a size of plate of your choice/ hunger and then start to choose from minimum 20 different meals. You will find dishes with beans, lenses, tofu, grilled or cooked vegetables. So lets try and be also surprised like me how tasty vegan can be 😃.

The restaurant is part of a small family-run chain. There are a total of three locations in Düsseldorf. Unlike in a classic buffet restaurant, there is no “all you can eat” here, but you pay once for the plate size you would like and can then put the plate together as you wish. There are salads, cold and warm dishes that are always freshly prepared and can be found in small portions on the buffet. No matter whether you want to throw together a colorful plate or just take two or three ingredients, there is something for everyone here. There is also a very good selection of drinks as well as delicious coffee and excellent cakes. There are a few seats inside, but there are significantly more outside. In particular, the very moderate prices for children's plates and the opportunity to try out everything, in addition to the good taste and fresh food, are arguments for this restaurant. We'd love to come back!

Vegan food in buffet form, soup and cake extra. I can recommend the crumble with vanilla sauce. Vytal takeaway containers available, but unfortunately not for cakes.

Had the small bowl for €15-17. A good selection of vegetarian options. The price is a bit higher as you pay a lot for a bowl. But tastes good.

Very tasty, colorful variety that reaches its limits, especially noticeable with the soups, very tasty but always the same 3 soups gets boring after a while. But the biggest reason why I don't eat there anymore is because the small plate price was increased by 50%, which I personally find to be outrageous and pure extortion. I would understand and accept a slight increase, but 50% is pure greed that cannot be justified.

This is my favorite vegan restaurant I’ve been to so far within 5 years of being vegan, the food is so tasty. This is in my opinion also the best Sattgrün. Even if you’re not vegan, the food here is really worth it.

Discovering this sweet shop was my salvation. Everything vegan and super delicious! You can choose what you're hungry for. You can even choose which milk you want with coffee drinks. I have to admit, this was my first time in a vegan buffet restaurant like this. I did like the selection, but I needed to be told what to do and how to order. The soup was delicious 😋. I also got the rose wine, there was an issue with the wrong price but it was quickly resolved. If it's your first time here you pick up a plate for the salads and fill it up on how much you want to spend! I really recommend the soup selection.

When I'm in Düsseldorf I really like going to Sattgrün. Extremely delicious..Vegan and mostly gluten-free. Exactly the right thing for me. Any time

Loud, narrow, crowded. The food is delicious. Unfortunately I didn't like the atmosphere. There are no reservations possible, nor will you be assigned a seat; you just sit down somewhere. Which means that the tables are not wiped down in between - I used a napkin to wipe away the dirt from the previous person. I had to ask for a fork first because apparently no one on staff made sure there was enough cutlery. Nor did the trash can in the women's restroom, which was overflowing.

We liked the food and the concept! Vegan, very tasty food, self-service at the buffet, good coffee and cake.

I think that this restaurant is quite nice regarding their menu and I love that everything is vegan here. While the food is absolutely delicious, I feel like the price is quite high. As the store is quite small, there is not much seating space and the one that is there is really small even though they try to make it as cozy as possible with cushions and stuff. I wouldn’t come here regularly due to the prices but would always recommend it for a vegan night out

Went without a reservation, on a Saturday evening and got a table straight away without waiting Cozy despite the cozy confines😄 the food was great and the staff was nice!

We were here with two teenagers who really like eating burgers and sausages. After enthusiastically shoveling in "chicken schnitzel" and "gyros", they were confused to discover that it was a vegan restaurant 🤪 The service is rather simple, you take a plate, go to the buffet and pay based on the size of the plate. The salads are super varied and colorful, well seasoned... very tasty dishes even apart from fake meat!

I love the food served here. It’s so tasty. The salads are very fresh. The sauces are very tasty. I love the toppings. Coffee and cake is fab too. All in all worth a visit. (Just no table reservations so take some time with you just in case)

Heerlijke veganistische gerechten. Duidelijk aangegeven glutenvrije opties. Echter geen glutenvrije gebakjes voor bij de koffie. We komen nochtans zeker terug.

Seit 5 Jahren probiere ich mich durch Düsseldorfs Restaurants angefangen von der Dönerbude bis zu Haute Cuisine und sattgrün ist ganz klar eines der besten Restaurants in der Stadt. Der "kleine Teller" mit 5 items nach Wahl vom Buffet ist gar nicht so klein und macht pappsatt. Der Apfel-Kirsch-Crumble ist das beste Dessert in Düsseldorf und das sag ich nicht so leicht dahin. Habe zum ersten Mal dort bestellt und bin instant verliebt.

Alles top! Total lecker, egal ob Salat oder warmes Gericht.
