The SANKTANNAS is an absolute pearl in the urban jungle of Munich. The food is a culinary, wholesome & natural delight. Great ingredients & deliciously seasoned & prepared. The dumpling dishes are amazing, and the cakes are a delicious treat with a café or tea. The red wines from Tyrol are also highly recommended. The service is always friendly and the waitresses are available for a cheerful, humorous chat and exchange. I've laughed a lot and joked around with Teresa & Robby, who serve you in an absolutely hospitable manner and give gifts in their own way.🙃 Totally recommended, we are already looking forward to our next visit to SANKTANNAS.✨️ Cheerful warm💓gentle greetings Mira & Sven

Service was great, ambience was also good, but unfortunately the food didn't convince me. I had a Bala Bowl (dumpling salad) with three different types of dumplings that all looked and tasted the same. They were also very dry. For me there will be no repeat.

A few days ago the five of us were with Robert at Sankt Annas. We sat in a small booth where it was pleasantly quiet for conversation. Robert was very attentive and friendly and also made special requests for food possible. The food itself was great; had various types of dumplings from salty to sweet.

Super delicious vegan and vegetarian food, our service was so nice and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxed⭐️ Most main courses are priced at around €15, but that's not to be expected in Munich

Solid Tyrolean dumpling cuisine, everything vegetarian, the desserts are also solid, although the portions are not exactly generous. Friendly service, rather poor modern New Alpine atmosphere. There's nothing to complain about. It's best to reserve in advance in the evening.

Adding this wonderful restaurant to my top favourites! Great dishes, drinks, ambiance, and hospitality. Perfect for any occasion. The food was fantastic, I’ve been wanting to try these typical Tyrolean dishes for so long and was thrilled to finally have the chance. The little fried dumplings are incredible too and come with a delicious sauce and vegan mayonnaise that tastes better than any non-vegan versions I’ve ever had in my life. Overall the perfect combination of crispiness, chewyness, and savoury. Immediately upon entering we were greeted by Robert who is an angel on earth. His genuine kindness and enthusiasm swept us off our feet. He took the time to explain certain dishes thoroughly, and see that every detail was cared for, and made sure we had the most amazing experience. Such a delight. He brought joy to every table. The world would be better if there were more people like Robert. I wish I could share pictures of our plates but we just started eating right away because it all looked and smelled so good! Thank you for this memorable evening, and we can’t wait to be back. (PS; I never write reviews, but this place was so special that I had to share.)

Very tasty dishes and extremely friendly, personal service! We had the gluten-free polenta bala and the beetroot & ginger bala. Both impressed us in terms of taste! Parking spaces were also found without any problems.

The service was outstanding. The food left nothing to be desired. Very natural in taste, high quality ingredients. We found prices ok. We are already looking forward to the next time.

Excellent South Tyrolean cuisine. Service is friendly. Food came quickly. Since our reservation was given elsewhere, there was a big apology and aperitifs on the house.

Simply worth a visit again and again! Very tasty Schlutzkrapfen and dumplings - you can hardly get them outside of South Tyrol and that's why I'm even happier every time! Very friendly owner and staff, everything was very easy and relaxed. We've been there for the fourth time since April and will definitely be back soon!

We had dinner at Sankt Annas and were completely satisfied. From the warm welcome from the authentic South Tyrolean waiter (or owner?) to leaving the restaurant, everything was wonderful. We ate very tasty and unusual food. If you are looking for southern Italian cuisine in numerous vegan or vegetarian versions, you have come to the right place. The service was wonderful, not too intrusive, but they always looked after us. The information that we didn't have to tip (we had asked if you could give a little more with a card) was also surprisingly refreshing and rarely happens. We would come back at any time, the Sankt Annas can only be recommended 😊

Good unthreatening interiors, friendly but somewhat slow service. I found the food to be very bad tho. They specialize in knodels, which are pretty underwhelming at the best of times, but here it was just straight up untasty. I got the lunch special of spinach knodels with vegetables. The knodels were pretty mealy tasting, not a good texture. I found the veggies to be worse, a confusing spice mixture along with half cooked celery and carrots. Vegan food can taste better than this.

We wanted dessert and after 9pm we spotted Sanktannas while walking past. It looked cute and I saw the cakes so we wanted to try it. The service was outstanding! That doesn't happen that often in Munich anymore and we also had a few jokes. We only had coffee and cake but will come back for the actual food.

Give Robbie a raise! The guy is horny. Super friendly and even funnier. The food was also delicious. The vegan versions were a bit “slim” but otherwise quite nice.

The SANKTANNAS is a real highlight in Munich's Maxvorstadt! The dishes are excellently prepared. The combination of South Tyrolean recipes and modern, vegan-vegetarian cuisine is unique and surprises every time you visit. The different dumpling variations – from savory to sweet – are particularly recommended. The staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel completely comfortable. It's more than just quick service; the team really seems to enjoy providing guests with an unforgettable stay. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting – just the right place to switch off and enjoy the urban diversity of Munich. After a visit to SANKTANNAS, you'll want to come back immediately.

The brunch at Sankt Annas on Augustenstrasse is a real highlight! The selection is large and varied, with fresh, healthy dishes as well as hearty delicacies - perfect for a relaxed start to the day. I would particularly like to highlight the excellent service: The two service staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and always made sure that we didn't miss anything. You can tell that hospitality is very important here. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back! LG Luis

Everything is perfect! I'll definitely be back. The food is a dream, beautifully prepared and the service is extremely friendly, friendly and humorous.

My daughter had raved about the restaurant to me, so we went and she was so right. The dumpling and Schlutzkrapfen dishes were not only very unusual, but also really delicious. Of course I HAVE to try the other dishes one by one; there is no other way. The prices are fair or "normal", and you'll get enough to eat. The only downside: the burger was too dry overall; it doesn't have to be tried again. Maybe juicier buns or more sauce? The atmosphere is very nice and unpretentious, and Robert is an absolute sweetheart ♥ They seem to run the place with two people, which is quite a feat, but also leads to waiting times on a Friday. That's completely okay with us; We don't want to go to a canteen, and the food is absolutely worth the wait. Thank you and see you soon!

I rate 5 stars and even more if there were. This place has become my favorite go-to whenever I’m in town. Not only the food is absolutely delicious, but the service and the ambience are top-notch. The owner, Robert, is an amazing person who always makes us feel welcome. Can’t recommend it enough!

The food is not main stream, but very good. A bit unusual and you don't miss the meat at all. Munich Mule and pressed dumplings can be combined very well. The restaurant is small and cozy and Robert is in a class of his own!!! We'll be back!

A wonderful vegan dinging experience. Not only was the Italian owner a brilliant host, but the food was excellent. Definitely worth multiple visits to sample the whole menu. We could even park our bikes right out front to keep an eye on them.

Soulful place. We like to come here from time to time for the pleasant atmosphere and to have a quick chat with the wonderful, friendly staff. Drink a glass of wine at cozy tables outside and eat vegetarian snacks.

Many other cafes in the area were closed (summer vacation) or extremely busy with long lines, so we chose Sankt Annas. There were two cozy places outside, which was quite pleasant. Since we wanted breakfast/or brunch, we chose something from the menu section. Unfortunately, the fried eggs with hummus had too much hummus for too little bread, otherwise it was acceptable. The porridge was good. The waffle was very small and absolutely unacceptable for the price. The service was friendly, but visibly stressed. It took a long time to take the order, but she thanked her for understanding - apparently a colleague didn't arrive until later that day. I wouldn't go to Sankt Anna's again, but maybe the dumplings or something from the "main offer" would have been a catch - who knows.

Very cozy restaurant with an exceptional menu that offers a lot of interesting things. The restaurant specializes in typical mountain home cooking with lots of dumplings and a super tasty coleslaw. Unfortunately our waitress was in a bad mood that day or something and was unfriendly and inattentive. Otherwise a really nice shop.

Very unfriendly service. Unfortunately our order was sold out (at 11am). The small dumpling wedges are an incredibly small portion, you won't get full. But what little food I ate was delicious :)

We had nougat dumplings with walnut ice cream and something fruity. The main course was also very tasty. Also suitable for those who are undecided, just take the recommendation. ;)

I just love everything about this restaurant. The Food: Fantastic! The ambience: Beautiful and very cozy! The service: top, top, top! I feel so comfortable here and Robert is solely responsible for that. He looks after his guests with incredible care with his funny and light manner. You can always rely on his recommendations and he is also very open about changes to the dishes, for example if you don't like mushrooms or something like that. The vegan selection is great. I really enjoy coming here! Much love to Robert!

I ordered through Uber Eats. Zucchini frittata and the waffle with apricot essence. Sorry, but I've never eaten such a dry waffle before. The apricot essence was inedible. I don't even need to start with the frittata. Only the top half was cooked and the rest was raw. Salmonella inevitable. I have never been so disappointed with a breakfast. Never again.
