A wonderful vegan dinging experience. Not only was the Italian owner a brilliant host, but the food was excellent. Definitely worth multiple visits to sample the whole menu. We could even park our bikes right out front to keep an eye on them.

Many other cafes in the area were closed (summer vacation) or extremely busy with long lines, so we chose Sankt Annas. There were two cozy places outside, which was quite pleasant. Since we wanted breakfast/or brunch, we chose something from the menu section. Unfortunately, the fried eggs with hummus had too much hummus for too little bread, otherwise it was acceptable. The porridge was good. The waffle was very small and absolutely unacceptable for the price. The service was friendly, but visibly stressed. It took a long time to take the order, but she thanked her for understanding - apparently a colleague didn't arrive until later that day. I wouldn't go to Sankt Anna's again, but maybe the dumplings or something from the "main offer" would have been a catch - who knows.

Very cozy restaurant with an exceptional menu that offers a lot of interesting things. The restaurant specializes in typical mountain home cooking with lots of dumplings and a super tasty coleslaw. Unfortunately our waitress was in a bad mood that day or something and was unfriendly and inattentive. Otherwise a really nice shop.

Very unfriendly service. Unfortunately our order was sold out (at 11am). The small dumpling wedges are an incredibly small portion, you won't get full. But what little food I ate was delicious :)

Super tasty food, especially the spinach dumplings with olive garnish as well as the lentil curry. We were served very kindly and warmly and after our dessert we were given cookies to dip into the chocolate sauce. Just beautiful. Thank you for the lovely evening 🥰

We had a very nice evening with super nice service. The recommendations/advice were great and the dessert was a delight. Absolutely heavenly. We had nougat dumplings with walnut ice cream and something fruity. The main course was also very tasty. Also suitable for those who are undecided, just take the recommendation. ;)

I just love everything about this restaurant. The Food: Fantastic! The ambience: Beautiful and very cozy! The service: top, top, top! I feel so comfortable here and Robert is solely responsible for that. He looks after his guests with incredible care with his funny and light manner. You can always rely on his recommendations and he is also very open about changes to the dishes, for example if you don't like mushrooms or something like that. The vegan selection is great. I really enjoy coming here! Much love to Robert!

I ordered through Uber Eats. Zucchini frittata and the waffle with apricot essence. Sorry, but I've never eaten such a dry waffle before. The apricot essence was inedible. I don't even need to start with the frittata. Only the top half was cooked and the rest was raw. Salmonella inevitable. I have never been so disappointed with a breakfast. Never again.

Vegan, vegetarian meets the Alpine world. Worth a culinary journey. You can sit outside and inside. Good air and bright ambience.

We came across this very attractive restaurant purely by chance. Thought we'd try that now. And then one highlight after another. If you love South Tyrolean cuisine, you have to come here. Dumpling variations that I already know not only have an expansion in stock but have also given me my own personal taste crown. This was definitely not my last visit.

There were three of us at Sanktannas today: we were served extremely courteously and quickly; Robeet was extremely helpful and always present without being intrusive. The food was very tasty, everything was fresh and well seasoned. The drinks, like the food, were very well served and delicious. We also found the price-performance ratio to be very reasonable. Thank you very much, we will definitely be back soon…

The owner is super nice and even brought us a free appetizer plate on the house. It's also great that the vegan selection is so large.

We had a wonderful evening at Sanktannas. Robert was incredibly friendly, and the service was exceptional. We enjoyed the pumpkin Knödel and Red-Beet Knödel, both of which were delicious. The vegan waffle was absolutely amazing!

Very fine and unusual menu - this combination of Austrian-vegan-vegetarian cannot be found anywhere else in Munich. The very courteous service staff is also great. And: with the aperitif you get a free greeting from the kitchen.

Food was good and tasty, the quality was okay, but in my opinion you shouldn't expect anything out of the ordinary in terms of taste or craftsmanship. There is a great selection of classic and more unusual dumpling dishes, as well as a large selection of vegan and other vegetarian dishes. The service was initially great and very friendly, but unfortunately we weren't really served any further after our meal, for example to order dessert or new drinks.

The vegan dumplings are authentic and very special, the vegetarian shakschuka with parmesan and polenta optional is a poem. The vegan waffles with various creams are also recommended. There is enough space to sit. Cozy and modern atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit! Robert is also very nice and funny. Thank you!

We tried the pumpkin dumplings and cheese dumplings and were impressed. The dumplings tasted fresh and were filling. The drinks also tasted excellent. We will be back!

South Tyrolean cuisine. Vegan (or vegetarian). Need I say more? Food is awesome. Nougat dumplings are a dream! Robert is a South Tyrolean soul. We have found our new favorite restaurant.

Even though we didn't have a reservation for Friday evening, we got a table straight away. Robert gave us a very warm welcome and he also accepted NeoTaste even though his system wasn't yet designed for it. Incredibly friendly. Really lightened up the whole evening and we had a great time. A clear recommendation is the dessert! We were blown away. The next time we are in Munich we will definitely come back.

It is advisable to make a reservation, especially on Sunday lunchtime. But we were lucky and got a place for 3 at a table. The menu is small but nice. In addition to balas (dumplings) in numerous variations and combinations, there is also the mountain shakschuka. The dishes are portioned so that you can easily fit in starters and desserts. Super nice service, I thought the time it took for the food to arrive was ok considering the restaurant was almost full.

I'm excited. The delivery arrived in a fair time frame. The delivery lady was friendly. The food is incredibly good and at the same time meatless. Funnily enough, the cake tasted a bit like AHOI soda, but not in an artificial way. The dumplings were nice and fluffy thanks to the Parmesan and the way they were processed. I am completely satisfied. The only complaint at a high level is that the cake was very sweet and the dumplings were quite greasy. But I also have to say that this made it taste a little better. So you shouldn't necessarily go out to eat here every day otherwise you'll get chubby.

Super nice place. The food and the homemade drinks were really tasty. There are high chairs for children, which is not so typical in the area. We felt really comfortable with a small child. All dishes are vegetarian, which I think is really good!

It looks a bit puny from the outside, but it's a real gem in the area. We were there yesterday with 4 people, it wasn't full, but the food was excellent - the wine too. The service is definitely not from South Tyrol but extremely helpful and obviously an expert.

Mega Restaurant. War spontan hier auf einer Durchreise. Sehr leckeres Essen, tolle vegane Gerichte und ein sehr zuvorkommender Service. Hat mir sehr gut gefallen und wirklich eine Empfehlung wert, vor allem, aber nicht nur, wenn man sich vegetarisch/ vegan ernährt und was anderes Essen möchte als asiatisch, indisch oder im Burgerladen. Burger gibt's hier auch, Spezialität des Hauses sind eher die "Bala" also kleine Klöße in verschiedenen Varianten.

Veganes und vegetarisches Essen in richtig lecker. Sind ausgesprochen nett bewirtet worden. Preise sind total in Ordnung. Unbedingt empfehlenswert! Ich komme wieder!

I rarely comment on Google Maps, but I want to say that this is one of the better restaurants that I have tried in Munich. The Bala and the ravioli are tasty, the coffee/cappuccino is quite good and reasonably priced, and the service is also very good. They provide water or drink, as well as English service and menu. I also like the atmosphere. I’ll visit it again when I’m in Munich.

A great vegetarian and vegan place - not your usual boring burgers and salads! Loved the dumplings with a twist. I had soup with a cheese dumping which was delicious and really took me back to my childhood. They have an online version of their menu available in English.

Waren heute zum ersten und bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal dort lecker essen toller Service sehr aufmerksamer Kellner alles tippi Toppi

Beim dritten Anlauf hat es geklappt. Entgegen einem anderen Bericht hier, ist das Lokal nicht umgezogen, sondern hatte tatsächlich eine zweite Filiale am Gärtnerplatz. Dort wollte ich vor langer Zeit das erste mal hingehen. Ich wurde dann telefonisch darauf hingewiesen, dass dieses Lokal im März nicht geöffnet haben würde. Vermutlich waren das die ersten Anzeichen, dass es geschlossen wird. Danach war nur noch die Niederlassung in der Augustenstraße zu finden. Ich benötigte weitere Anläufe bis es tatsächlich mit einem Besuch, fast 1,5 Jahre später klappen sollte. Das vegetarische Lokal ist überraschend großzügig und verwinkelt gestaltet. Wir ergatterten einen ruhigen Tisch auf der Empore. Die Karten wurden gereicht, sind aber auch auf dem Tisch in einem Aufsteller vorzufinden. Es fiel mir schwer, die richtige Entscheidung zu treffen. Es gibt eine Tageskarte sowie Standards. Ich entschied mich für Bala Classic (11,90 Euro) mit Nussbutter, Parmesan und Salat, wo drei Knödel nach Wahl ausgesucht werden können. Zur Auswahl stehen Spinat, Rote Beete, Steinpilz, Kürbis, Brezn oder Bergkäse. Für mich sollte es Spinat, Steinpilz und Kürbis sein. Meine Freundin wählte Bala Bergkäse (12,90). Dabei handelt es sich um Bergkäse-Knödel mit Spitzkraut, würziger Aprikosensoße und Knusperzwiebel. Ich entschied mich neben dem obligatorischen stillen Wasser auch für einen Munich Mule (9,50 Euro). Sehr nett, dass die Bedienung darauf hinwies, dass wir uns noch in der Happy Hour befinden, welche von 17-19 Uhr geht. Das bedeutet, dass es zu jedem Drink einen Snack gibt. Wow. Da sagen wir doch nicht nein. Der Snack bestand dann aus zwei gerösteten Teigtaschen sowie geröstete verschiedene Knödel in kleinen Stücken. Dazu gab es grüne Oliven und eine etwas schärfere Soße mit Kürbisgeschmack und Körner. Der Drink wurde wie gewünscht mit nur einem Eiswürfel und Papierstrohhalm serviert. Schön wäre noch etwas Minze gewesen. Meine Knödel waren auf den ersten Blick eher klein und mit Parmesan bedeckt. Die Butter war nicht zu vordergründig. Dazu gab es einen Eisbergsalat mit Dressing und Körnern. Am intensivsten hat der Knödel mit Steinpilzen geschmeckt, danach der mit Spinat. Kaum bis gar nicht hab ich den Kürbis wahr genommen. Danach war ich gut satt. Die Knödel meiner Freundin wurden auf dem Salat platziert und mit der Soße übergossen. Ihr hat es sehr gut geschmeckt und sie war happy. Dennoch ging noch etwas und sie setzte ihren Wunsch um, noch ein Dessert zu bestellen. Sie entschied sich für die Knödel mit Nougat (7,90 Euro). Die vier Knödel waren schön knusprig und wurden mit Marillenessenz serviert. Als Überraschung gab es eine Kugel Karamelleis dazu. Die Nougatfüllung war nicht zu übersehen. Der Service war sehr herzlich und stets präsent. Kartenzahlung erfolgt am Tresen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Alle unsere gewählten Hauptspeisen waren richtig lecker. Ausgefallene aber vor allem leckere Knödelvariationen, die uns alle positiv überrasch haben. Sehr symphatischer Service

Wir waren zu viert beim Mittagessen im SANKTANNAS. Wir haben unterschiedliche Knödel bestellt und diese geteilt. Ein Knödel war besser als der andere. Es war wirklich herausragend und freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Besuch! Ganz großes Lob und danke auch für den tollen Service Robert.
