The food is really excellent, but a bit expensive. But it is important to remember that quality has its price. The staff is extremely courteous and nice. I find the prices for the drinks extremely expensive. An apple spritzer diluted with water costs €6.50, which is quite steep in my opinion.

Steaks very good. Lots of side dishes to choose from. Beautiful guest rooms. Friendly service. First choice for me for steaks. Pistachio ice cream for dessert.

Went there for the first time by chance and promptly got 100% the best steak I've had so far! Service is also more than accommodating, the price is a bit high, but it's incredibly tasty. I'm saving the last star to maybe top it after the next few visits. Dessert is also very tasty. Garlic baguette is a dream. You will see me again, I promise 😁!

Very well prepared steak at a high price, high prices for the side dishes, and a small side salad was not my cup of tea. The restaurant is very convoluted, the furnishings are old-fashioned and outdated. Service was ok but not outstanding either.

The ambience of the restaurant is really great. The furnishings are attractive and create a pleasant atmosphere. Overall the food was okay. The quality of the meat was very good. The side dishes are overpriced! I found the croquettes in particular, which cost 6 euros for just five small pieces, simply too expensive. Unfortunately the service wasn't very attentive. It took a while before we were served and we often felt forgotten even during the meal. So overall my visit to Sanders Steakhouse was a mixed bag. I liked the ambience and the quality of the meat, but the value for money of the side dishes and the service marred my experience.

Der Zugang war etwas verwinkelt, aber das Ambiente hat uns entschädigt. Die Steaks waren excellent genau wie bestellt: medium und englisch. Ich hatte 200 g bestellt, war mir aber zuviel. Der Nette Ober schlug vor, dass er mir den Rest einpackt für zu Hause. Meine Frau hat es dann als "Mitternachtsmenue" genossen. Der Abend war wirklich erfreulich, nachdem wir am Vortag bei einem miesen Italiener gegessen hatten.

Rustic atmosphere, with a tiled stove and lots of wood. Therefore very comfortable. The meat quality is really top and was cooked to perfection, as requested. I had a US Prime Ribeye which really tasted like a dream. The shrimp with it was nothing special, but completely ok. However, you have to know that quality has its price, and often rightly so! However, why you have to charge €6.50 for an apple juice spritzer remains a mystery to me

The best steakhouse in Nuremberg! It's not cheap, but it's definitely worth the price. The meat is always on point and all the side dishes taste great too. I've been coming here for 10 years and have never been disappointed! The atmosphere in the farmhouse parlor is rustic, charming and super cozy. However, the glass extension/winter garden doesn't fit in at all: the furnishings and lighting conditions there seem barren and uncomfortable, so we can't sit there despite the great food. Therefore there is a point deduction here, but the only one! The service has always been attentive, fast and charming over the years! Only the day before yesterday, after all these years, we unfortunately had to have a somewhat unpleasant experience, like the one "Vanessa" described two weeks ago: We stopped in spontaneously at 4 p.m. and were immediately informed by the nice service lady that the table was only available until 6 p.m. So far so good. At 5:10 p.m. (!) - my husband had already eaten and I still had a few forks on my plate - a slightly older lady who I had never seen before (owner/manager?) suddenly came and pointed it out to us that there is a time window for this table. I replied: "Yes, 6 p.m.", to which she said: "Oh yes, that's fine too". A few minutes later my husband paid because we had the feeling that they wanted to get rid of us. Then the plate with a leftover piece of garlic bread was pulled out from under my nose. Too bad! Unfortunately, this experience somewhat tarnishes the exceptionally good impression of the last 10 years. But since it was the first time something like this happened, it still gives the full number of stars. A tip just to the “owner”. It might have been better to simply ask the service lady in charge if she had informed us, rather than the guest herself while he was still eating... Your staff is charming, works reliably and professionally and that's wow 😉. You certainly didn't mean it in a bad way, but telling the guest 50 minutes before the supposed time window is up that it's about to end is really not nice. Unfortunately, that was a rather unpleasant end to an otherwise harmonious evening.

I went to Steakhaus Sanders for the first time today. I was very satisfied with the food and have no complaints. If you want good food, this is the place for you. The prices are also in the normal range. The service is also very friendly. I can only recommend the Sanders steakhouse. A table reservation is already required.

As always, the food was very good. We didn't have a table reservation. Even though everything was fully booked, we were assigned a table after a few minutes. Our waiter was very attentive and really nice. We'd love to come back.

We celebrated my grandma's 90th birthday here. Unfortunately the service staff wasn't good. When we were welcomed, we were told that we only had the table for 2 hours - that was fine, especially on a Friday evening - but the fact that we were told this 5 times made us feel like we were unwelcome. When we then wanted to eat the spare ribs, we were simply forbidden from doing so, with the justification: “It won't work given the time [in which the table is available]. Is only possible by pre-order”. I've never experienced anything like this!!! Nothing was said about pre-ordering the spare ribs either on the menu or on the phone when making the reservation. You don't prohibit a paying customer (!!) from eating a dish?!? The alternative was still very tasty, but dealing with guests could definitely be improved :-)

We have eaten at Sanders Steakhouse several times. The food has always tasted good so far, but today a service employee (who hadn't even served us) said he had to make racist comments behind the scenes several times. I quoted "Ching, Chang, Chong Asians don't tip". As we walk, we hear “Ching, Chang, Chong, I was right.” We weren't sure the first time, I'm annoyed that we even tipped. We won't be coming back and would advise anyone who doesn't look German to visit. I advise the owner to train his service staff better in this regard, which is inexcusable for me.

We were invited there by friends. The house is nicely furnished, a little tight to the toilets, but that's how it is in older houses. Large aquarium in the entrance area. The range of dishes on offer is extensive and will certainly make the hearts of steak lovers beat faster. If you want spear ribs, it takes a while; they can be prepared on request. But that's probably the problem - unfortunately they aren't very tender. In the best case scenario, the meat slips off the bone. I also found the price-performance ratio of the food not entirely justified. It was a nice evening, but I wouldn't go there again.

I celebrated my birthday with 12 people at Sanders Steakhouse in Nuremberg and it was a wonderful experience! The food was extremely good, each of us was thrilled by the quality and taste of the food. The boss was present the whole time and made us feel very welcome. A special thank you goes to Mr. Anarul, who looked after us in a very friendly and attentive manner. Overall, a highly recommended location for special occasions. We will be back definitely!

Nice little steakhouse with a cozy atmosphere. The food is a dream, really good and the staff is mostly very friendly. When we had to wait for the service person, the boss came and took care of it. If you want to treat yourself and like steak, Sanders is highly recommended.

I really enjoyed going there because the food is always delicious and people get along well. However, that makes what happened all the sadder. My wife, child and I went there to eat. My wife ordered for us: mine medium rare and we shared it with the child. Not bad, my roast beef was done and her file was medium rare. However, when I wanted to ask how that happened, the answer was: "Your wife ordered it that way." Thank you and never see you again.

An institution in Nuremberg for decades: in 1994 - 30 years ago, Gisela Sanders took over the restaurant and things have been looking up since then. With the right ingredients (and a lot of passion, but no magic) Sanders won a top spot among Nuremberg's steakhouses. Since then - as the Franconians say - a lot of water has flowed down the Pegnitz, but the top position has been retained to this day. Congratulations and have a continued successful time!
