Sanders Steakhouse in Nürnberg

We had a very good meal. The terrace is a great place to relax. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Our first visit to Sanders Steakhaus at Längenstraße 10 in Nuremberg was a complete success – we are thrilled! The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., without closing days – a real rarity these days and a huge plus. The food was a true highlight. We ordered the rump steak with green beans and bacon, and the fillet steak with peppercorn cream sauce and fries. The rump steak was served separately from the beans and initially seemed a bit lost on the large plate – but 180g of raw meat was absolutely sufficient. The flavor was spot on: tender, juicy, and with excellent structure. The homemade herb butter was the star of the plate – intense, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The fillet steak was beautifully presented in a rustic style, just as you would expect in a steakhouse. The medium-rare and medium-well cooking levels were perfectly achieved – nicely seared on the outside, wonderfully pink and cooked through on the inside, without being dry. The quality of the meat was outstanding – you can tell that from the taste and every bite. For dessert, we had fresh tiramisu – creamy, finely balanced, not too sweet. Visually, it lacked a bit of cocoa powder, but the taste was just right. The apple fritters with vanilla ice cream were homemade, soft on the inside, crispy on the outside – a real treat! The service was friendly, attentive, and competent. Questions about the dishes were also answered patiently and expertly. The prices are high, but absolutely reasonable for this quality. We sat on the roof terrace with a beautiful view of the greenery – despite the central location in a residential area. The fans provide a pleasant coolness. A slight stylistic inconsistency: The tables appear functional, but visually don't quite fit the otherwise upscale ambiance. We haven't seen the interior yet. Conclusion: If you're looking for high-quality meat, excellently crafted cuisine, and friendly service, this is the place for you. We'll definitely be back – the menu offers many more exciting dishes that we're curious to try!

A fantastic steakhouse. The interior is incredibly cozy. The exterior is beautiful. Very romantic with gorgeous hydrangeas and lots of greenery. And the selection of dishes is simply fantastic. The steaks are a dream. Perfect value for money. I'd be happy to come back anytime. Thank you for this wonderful break from everyday life.

The steakhouse is located on a quiet side street just a few minutes from Nordring. The food was excellent. In our case, it was the fillet steak. It was cooked to perfection and very tasty. The fries were also very good and crispy. We had grilled vegetables as a side dish, which was also very good, but the portion was very generous and definitely enough for two. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The ambiance is rather rustic. However, there is also an adjoining room with more modern furnishings. There is also plenty of seating on the shaded terrace, which also has fans. The restaurant was also air-conditioned. In terms of price, Sander's Steakhouse is certainly in the upper league, but quality and service come at a price. Conclusion: If you want to eat a good piece of beef, you've come to the right place.

Enjoyed sitting outside and our group ordered Holzfällersteak mit Knoblauchbrot/Kleines Filet mit Pommes und Spieß mit Champignons und Kroketten . Meats were tasty and tender. Very enjoyable feast and nice service!

We received a very friendly welcome and opted for an 800g porterhouse steak. Unlike the competition, which I wrote about a few months ago, the meat was cooked to perfection, medium rare. It was also warm and the beef was delicious. And it was almost half the price. We ordered chanterelle mushrooms as a side dish, and they were very good. The same goes for the rösti (fried potatoes), although I would have liked a couple more. (They were simply too delicious 😋) The ambiance is upscale, stylish, and very cozy. I always enjoy coming here and enjoying wonderful meat.

Absolutely thrilled!!! The steaks are perfectly cooked, super tender and taste great, and the starters are also really tasty. The ambience is rustic and cozy, with lots of wood and lovingly coordinated decorations. It reminds me a bit of the old bratwurst places I used to go to with my grandpa, you immediately feel at home. Although the restaurant was busy, I was able to spontaneously get a seat twice; the service was always warm and attentive. A clear recommendation for me. I used to often go to the restaurant in Erlenstegen, which unfortunately no longer exists, but this one is at least as good. Unfortunately, I was so quick out of sheer greed that I completely forgot to take a photo of my beautiful steak. Next time then! I will definitely come back.

The Steakhaus Sanders in Nuremberg offers a very welcoming atmosphere with extremely friendly owners and nice staff. The food is excellent, especially the perfectly cooked steaks. A personal tip: The garlic bread is very tasty and the wine selection is excellent. If you not only want to have excellent food, but also want to experience a nice atmosphere, this is the right place for you. Definitely worth a visit!

The cuisine is excellent and the steaks are spot on. Thank you! The carpaccio as a starter was also really delicious. The portion is very generous and is ideal for sharing. But at a price of over €24, that's to be expected. Overall we were very satisfied. The furnishings are certainly a matter of taste - it wasn't quite our style, but something could possibly be optimized here. Reservation in advance is definitely recommended. Conveniently, there is parking right next to the building.

If you try it out, there is something for everyone.

Good quality meat, unfortunately the tenderloin for 37.50 was not medium rare as requested but medium. The steak, which was ordered medium rare, would have been perfect for medium rare; too pink. After we pointed this out to the lady, it was suggested that we bring a new piece, which I politely declined. I was satisfied with the side dishes. The guest room was a bit dusty and simply didn't appeal to me in terms of furnishings. Complaining at a high level, but in a steakhouse that specializes in steaks and charges a bill of almost €200 for three people, I think you can be a little more critical. But overall it was ok.

The food is really excellent, but a bit expensive. But it is important to remember that quality has its price. The staff is extremely courteous and nice. I find the prices for the drinks extremely expensive. An apple spritzer diluted with water costs €6.50, which is quite steep in my opinion.

Went there for the first time by chance and promptly got 100% the best steak I've had so far! Service is also more than accommodating, the price is a bit high, but it's incredibly tasty. I'm saving the last star to maybe top it after the next few visits. Dessert is also very tasty. Garlic baguette is a dream. You will see me again, I promise 😁!

Very well prepared steak at a high price, high prices for the side dishes, and a small side salad was not my cup of tea. The restaurant is very convoluted, the furnishings are old-fashioned and outdated. Service was ok but not outstanding either.

The side dishes are overpriced! I found the croquettes in particular, which cost 6 euros for just five small pieces, simply too expensive. Unfortunately the service wasn't very attentive. It took a while before we were served and we often felt forgotten even during the meal. So overall my visit to Sanders Steakhouse was a mixed bag. I liked the ambience and the quality of the meat, but the value for money of the side dishes and the service marred my experience.

Der Zugang war etwas verwinkelt, aber das Ambiente hat uns entschädigt. Die Steaks waren excellent genau wie bestellt: medium und englisch. Ich hatte 200 g bestellt, war mir aber zuviel. Der Nette Ober schlug vor, dass er mir den Rest einpackt für zu Hause. Meine Frau hat es dann als "Mitternachtsmenue" genossen. Der Abend war wirklich erfreulich, nachdem wir am Vortag bei einem miesen Italiener gegessen hatten.

Rustic atmosphere, with a tiled stove and lots of wood. Therefore very comfortable. The meat quality is really top and was cooked to perfection, as requested. I had a US Prime Ribeye which really tasted like a dream. The shrimp with it was nothing special, but completely ok. However, you have to know that quality has its price, and often rightly so! However, why you have to charge €6.50 for an apple juice spritzer remains a mystery to me

The best steakhouse in Nuremberg! It's not cheap, but it's definitely worth the price. The meat is always on point and all the side dishes taste great too. I've been coming here for 10 years and have never been disappointed! The atmosphere in the farmhouse parlor is rustic, charming and super cozy. However, the glass extension/winter garden doesn't fit in at all: the furnishings and lighting conditions there seem barren and uncomfortable, so we can't sit there despite the great food. Therefore there is a point deduction here, but the only one! The service has always been attentive, fast and charming over the years! Only the day before yesterday, after all these years, we unfortunately had to have a somewhat unpleasant experience, like the one "Vanessa" described two weeks ago: We stopped in spontaneously at 4 p.m. and were immediately informed by the nice service lady that the table was only available until 6 p.m. So far so good. At 5:10 p.m. (!) - my husband had already eaten and I still had a few forks on my plate - a slightly older lady who I had never seen before (owner/manager?) suddenly came and pointed it out to us that there is a time window for this table. I replied: "Yes, 6 p.m.", to which she said: "Oh yes, that's fine too". A few minutes later my husband paid because we had the feeling that they wanted to get rid of us. Then the plate with a leftover piece of garlic bread was pulled out from under my nose. Too bad! Unfortunately, this experience somewhat tarnishes the exceptionally good impression of the last 10 years. But since it was the first time something like this happened, it still gives the full number of stars. A tip just to the “owner”. It might have been better to simply ask the service lady in charge if she had informed us, rather than the guest herself while he was still eating... Your staff is charming, works reliably and professionally and that's wow 😉. You certainly didn't mean it in a bad way, but telling the guest 50 minutes before the supposed time window is up that it's about to end is really not nice. Unfortunately, that was a rather unpleasant end to an otherwise harmonious evening.
