The restaurant has been around for what feels like almost 30 years. You can eat on site or take away. A Chinese for quick, spontaneous hunger. You actually always get a place. Sitting outside is possible. The ambience is simple and unpretentious. Food is good. Bami Goreng has had the same good quality for years. Portions are filling. Preparation is quick. And for fans or foes of spicy food: the dishes with 2 chilies on the menu can also be eaten by a standard Central European without hesitation.

The floor drains, the ceiling and the protective cover for the lighting were contaminated. The floor was particularly dirty in the edge and corner areas, as well as under and behind the facilities. Food was also wrapped in unsuitable material (waste bags/recyclables bags) and food was stored in bags in the freezers that were not sealed. In addition, deep-frozen foods were kept in stock without a name or indication of when they were frozen or where they came from, so that the age and therefore marketability could not be accurately determined. Garage - Preparation/Storage: A mouse infestation has been identified. The food produced, processed and marketed at the facility was exposed to a risk of contamination. The fitting and waste pipe (siphon) of the food washing device, the floor joints (due to dark deposits), the vegetable cutting machine, the wall tiles, the rice cooker, the colander and the lid seal of the freezer were contaminated. The floor was particularly dirty in the edge and corner areas, as well as under and behind the facilities. There were no means of hygienic hand drying (e.g. disposable paper towels in the dispenser) and hand washing (e.g. liquid soap in the dispenser) at the handwashing sink. In addition, food was wrapped in unsuitable material (waste bags/recyclables bags). Due to the serious hygienic deficiencies including pest infestation (mice), the operator was prohibited from producing or serving food.

Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was a complete disappointment. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we realized that the staff didn't seem to want their job. The waitress was incredibly unfriendly and made no secret of the fact that she would prefer to be somewhere else. When I pointed out my allergies and asked about alternatives, she rolled her eyes and said I should check for myself. She seemed to be bothered by the fact that a guest was asked for a recommendation. It was particularly disappointing that, despite asking, we were not told on the phone that all vegan dishes are soy-based, which is a big problem given my allergy. Getting this information in advance would have been helpful to avoid disappointment. But the low point of the evening was when we were literally thrown out of the restaurant after dinner. At 9:30 p.m. we were told in no uncertain terms that we had to leave immediately because the staff wanted to get off work. Not even giving us the opportunity to finish our drink in peace was absolutely disrespectful. A simple notice that they would like to close soon would have been sufficient. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for years, I am shocked by such behavior. This is no way to treat guests. We definitely won't be coming back and unfortunately we can't recommend the restaurant.

Everything’s just so off here. The food is terrible, mostly frozen food, with no quality and so salty. The food was so awful and was not cooked properly. I did not even finish my food. Many people left bad reviews regarding the quality of their food. Also, charging 4.50 euros for a small bottle of water is crazy. The lady who worked there is so unreasonably rude and has an attitude problem. The cleanliness of this property is very questionable, oily, and odd smell. I will never visit this restaurant again. Not recommended!

Mom and Pop type restaurant. Huge portions with fair pricing! The menu is in German and English which helped a lot since the staff didn't speak English. Super friendly. All you have do is point at what you'd like and she writes it down. Food was fresh with alot of flavor.

Excellent place to enjoy real and good Chinese cuisine! Family atmosphere, quite good food. Convincing and very rich vegetarian menu! My wife and I were very impressed by the food and the atmosphere. The fact that there are many visitors of Chinese and Asian origin also speaks for itself. Great vegetarian miso soup with planted chicken is highly recommended.

The ambience is simple, but that wouldn't matter if the food was tasty. I haven't eaten something so bad for a long time: it doesn't taste good and it smells like old burnt oil. After two bites I had to throw the dish away, which wasn't cheap either. So people, take care of yourselves. I hope I survive this without any damage to my health.

She came in, noticed my portable dog house and gave me an angry look, then pointedly wiped her table and bench with an alcohol wipe. So if she already suspected the fleas. One star deducted.

Bin hier immer noch Stammgast und gehe hier sehr gerne hin. Topfavorit: Veganes Hähnchen mit Erdnussoße ist ein Gedicht. Zuallererst muss gesagt werden das das Lokal seit einigen Monaten unter einer neuen Führung ist, daher sollte man die alten Bewertungen nicht mehr berücksichtigen. Das Lokal liegt mitten an einer Hauptstraße, parken kann man nicht wirklich direkt davor, eher so in den anliegenden Straßen. Das Lokal sieht ansprechend aus, innen ist es eher etwas Loungeartig, gedämpftes Licht, angenehmes Ambiente. Recht große Speisekarte und vor allem eine sehr große Auswahl an veganen Speisen. Hier ist absolut zu empfehlen nicht nur für Veganer das gebratene vegane Hühnchen zu bestellen. Das ist sowas von lecker und wer hier einen Unterschied schmeckt, der lügt! Die Speisen sind preislich absolut ok. Hatte das gebratene Vhähnchen mit Gemüse, Reis und Erdnussoße und ich kann nur sagen, es ist super lecker. Das Gemüse ist bissfest und geschmacklich sehr gut, ordentlich Vhähnchen ist auf dem Teller und die Soße ist köstlich. Die Portion ist richtig ordentlich. Als Vorspeise gab´s noch Edamame, dass sind Bohnen die man aus der Schale heraus isst. Riesige Portion. Personal ist sehr freundlich, auch wenn es etwas bei der Sprache hapert, aber man kann ja auch mal etwas ruhiger und langsamer reden, dann klappt auch alles. Für mich momentan der beste Asiate in Frankfurt, sogar einen Tick besser als das Aroy....

Es gibt eine separate vegane Karte. Wir hatten ein Spezialmenü gebucht und wurden von den tollsten Kreationen überrascht. Eins leckerer als das andere. Besonders begeistert war ich von dem veganen "Tintenfisch" aus Konjakwurzel. Mega! Die vegane Auswahl ist wirklich spitze.

Ich war am Freitag mit einer größeren Gruppe dort, wir wurden einmal durch die vegane Karte geführt. Von den Vorspeisen haben mir die Sate Spieße gut gefallen, und bei den Hauptspeisen ein Traum 😍 Jede Geschmacklich recht unterschiedlich und dennoch das eine besser als das andere. Kann ich alle empfehlen, nur die vegane Ente sah zwar sehr gut aus aber war nichts für mich da wenig Geschmack. Aber es gab ja so viel anderes leckeres das es nicht weiter gestört hat. Der Kokosmilch Honig Melonen Nachtisch hat auch gut gepunktet. Werde auf jeden Fall mal wieder hingehen :)

Mein Besuch in diesem chinesischen Restaurant war eine kulinarische Reise mit Höhen und Tiefen. Das Essen, das wir bestellt haben, war insgesamt sehr lecker und spiegelte die Vielfalt der chinesischen Küche gut wider. Die Aromen und Gewürze waren grandios und sorgten für einen angenehmen Geschmack. Ein bemerkenswerter Punkt war die Großzügigkeit der Portionen. Die Speisen kamen in großartigen Mengen, was definitiv ein Pluspunkt war, da wir genug hatten, um nach Hause zu nehmen und noch eine Mahlzeit daraus zu machen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war daher insgesamt gut. Leider gab es auch einen kleinen Wermutstropfen in Bezug auf die Getränke. Ein Glas Tee kostete stolze 5€, was meiner Meinung nach überteuert ist. Dies war eine unangenehme Überraschung, da Tee normalerweise nicht so teuer sein sollte. Das Ambiente des Restaurants war interessant. Die Location war zwar alt, aber gut in Schuss gehalten und sauber. Es fehlte jedoch an einem gewissen "Wow"-Faktor oder einer auffälligen Eleganz. Es war eher schlicht und funktional, was sich in den Preisen widerspiegelte. Insgesamt war mein Besuch in diesem chinesischen Restaurant ein angenehmes Erlebnis mit einigen Höhen und Tiefen. Das Essen war lecker, die Portionen großzügig, aber die Getränkepreise waren übertrieben. Die Location war zwar alt, aber gut gepflegt. Es ist sicherlich einen Besuch wert, wenn man auf der Suche nach einer soliden chinesischen Mahlzeit ist, aber man sollte die Preise für Getränke im Auge behalten.

Wie jedes Mal überzeugt hier einfach alles: Service ist super lieb, fix und kompetent, das Essen ist extrem lecker und mein Highlight ist die komplett vegane Speisekarte, die es neben der mit Fleisch gibt.

Wir waren heute das erste Mal bei Sampan China Restaurant. Auf den ersten Blick sieht das Sampan nicht so wirklich einladend aus. Allerdings fanden wir das Essen sehr lecker. Auf der Terrasse sitzt man recht schön. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an verschiedenen Gerichten. Auf Wunsch bekommt man sogar eine komplett vegane Karte.

Ist okay. Fernlicht eher aus nostalgischen Gründen ein Besuch wert.

The food is amazing, the best Chinese/Vietnamese in Frankfurt that I've tried. The portions are big and worth the price, especially the crispy duck dishes. The staff is really nice and friendly. It was especially the case towards my 2-year-old daughter. They even brought a small bowl, plastic cup and a small fork for her without asking. I definitely recommend this place.

Sampan ist ein chinesisches Restaurant direkt an der Eckenheimer. Es gibt Sitzplätze sowohl im Innenbereich als auch draußen. Wir hatten die vegane Ente und die 79 (fried chicken). Das fried Hühnchen war sehr kross, allerdings hat mich die vegane Ente geschmacklich nicht wirklich überzeugt hat sehr 'brotig' geschmeckt. Insgesamt hat mir geschmacklich einfach etwas gefehlt. Die Haut war allerdings schön kross, und die hausgemachte Limo war sensationell!!! Die Dame im Laden ist sehr nett und aufmerksam, und kümmert sich gut um die Gäste.

Extra vegane Karte mit super viel Auswahl!! Das Essen ist mega gut. Mein Lieblingsrestaurant in Frankfurt und der Service ist super lieb. Individuelle Wünsche werden berücksichtigt und sie kennen sich gut mit den Zutaten ihrer Gerichte aus, was mit Allergien und Unverträglichkeiten super ist. Perfekt um mal neue interessante Gemüsesorten und traditionellere chinesische Gerichte auszuprobieren!

We went there because they have vegan menu which is unusual. We tried some vegan dimsum, it was surprisingly nice. Service was super friendly and nice outside area to sit in the summer.

Gedämpfter Tofu mit Gemüse in Austernsauce, alles schwamm zusätzlich zur Fertigsauce in Öl- verstehe nicht, warum da überhaupt Öp dran muss? Die sehr umfangreiche Karte klingt vielversprechend, viel ist dann aber auf Nachfrage nicht da. Fast food, aber nicht gut. Aus den Wantans lief das Öl beim Reinbeißen so raus, eklig.

Nur zu empfehlen! Das Essen war äußerst gut, wurde schnell serviert und die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich gewesen. Das einzige Manko war, das der Tisch etwas klebrig war. Gerne wieder!

Keinesfalls sollte man sich von dem (wenig einladenden) Äusseren abschrecken lassen: denn was sich dahinter "versteckt", ist das beste asiatische Restaurant in Frankfurt und Umgebung! Exzellente, stets frisch zubereitete Speisen, die man im Sommer sogar auf der Terrasse genießen kann sowie ein äusserst freundlicher und zuvorkommenden Service begeistern bei jedem Besuch aufs Neue. Hier werden nicht nur Liebhaber tierischer Produkte glücklich, sondern auch Vegetarier und Veganer schweben bereits beim Lesen der Speisekarte im siebten Himmel.

Sehr lecker, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Frau die uns bedient hat war sehr lieb und sympathisch. Essen war schnell da und es war alles frisch. Das Äußere ist leider nicht so schön, aber nicht davon abschrecken lassen :)

Das mit Abstand beste asiatisch-vegane Restaurant in Frankfurt. Ich bin schon seit vielen Jahren regelmäßig Gast im Sampan. Die Auswahl an Speisen auch an veganen Speisen ist wahnsinnig umfangreich und vielfältig. Alles wird in eigener Herstellung hergestellt, man arbeitet nicht mit irgendwelchen Fertigprodukten, selbst das Seitan für die veganen Produkte stellt die Besitzerin selbst her. Die Besitzerin und alle Angestellten sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit bei der Erklärung der authentischen asiatischen Speisen. Ganz klar eine mega Empfehlung. Parken kann man eigentlich immer gut in den Seitenstraßen direkt davor wird es schwierig.

Bekannt fur große Portionen und günstig. Durch Inflation alles etwas teurer geworden trotzdem noch gut und sehr nette Bedienung.

Das Restaurant haben wir anhand der Beschreibung im Netz ausgesucht, allerdings hat uns der Besuch eher ernüchtert, und wir werden in Zukunft wieder in unsere beliebten asiatischen Restaurants gehen. Die Tom Yan Kung war mittelmäßig und die ausgesuchten Dim Sum klein und ohne richtigen Geschmack. Um der wahrheit die Ehre zu geben, sollten wir allerdings erwähnen, dass das vegetarische Gericht in Ordnung war.

Riesige Portionen, sehr günstig, freundlicher Service: Das Sampan ist schon seit Jahren mein Lieblingsrestaurant im Nordend. Besonders erwähnenswert ist die große, separate vegane Karte, die von Sommerrollen über Seidentofu- bis zu Mock-Meat-Gerichten viel leckere Auswahl bietet. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!
