Very delicious food. Prices are totally reasonable. Since this is a smaller venue, the buffet is also a bit smaller. In my opinion, it's better laid out. The seafood selection here is also much better, though. I ate 90% of it exclusively. We'll definitely be back.

The food is good, but someone else just took my grilled plate. It's not a fair or proper system. I've been to 12 different Chinese restaurants and this one was really below average. The atmosphere is okay, but the toilets are unhygienic, not monitored, dirty and smelly.

I find the food (lunch buffet) very tasty. There's a good selection. In contrast, the entrance area smells of a toilet, and from the outside it doesn't look very inviting (anymore).

Super delicious food. The service is also great. You are served and treated very friendly. The staff are super nice. One star deducted for the ambiance because the restrooms weren't very clean. There's also a strong smell of cleaning products. Nevertheless, the food is very fresh and everything is delicious. The selection is great too. If you want to try something new, you'll find it there.

Our experience at this restaurant was a very pleasant one, The food was to our taste, The sushi is very delicious, as well as the food that is ready-cooked, The staff is very kind and friendly, they have a little difficulty with English, but they try very hard to understand what you want to order, as well as to answer your questions. First of all, the service was very friendly. The quality of the food at the buffet was rather questionable, in my opinion. The taste was okay; it didn't seem particularly fresh. Some of the tables were sticky, and I didn't even dare to use the restroom. One positive thing to mention is the buffet price for children and teenagers. I've seen completely different pricing concepts in other all-you-can-eat restaurants.

Went there with a large group. The buffet was mostly mass-produced or frozen food. I wouldn't recommend sushi. You can get much better food in Frankfurt for €23.

Centrally located in Nied. Some free parking is available on-site. Unfortunately, the restaurant doesn't look well-maintained from the outside. There are cobwebs all over the windows. The staff is friendly. The food is good. I doubt everything is fresh. There's definitely a large selection. You can also have fresh meat and fish prepared. Anyone who leaves more than 100g of food on their plate will be charged a €2 "fine" per 100g.

The buffet tastes OK, but you can tell that the seafood (only fish and shrimp) is cheap frozen. The only seafood in the barbecue area is squid rings, which are not fresh and need to be charged extra. Hot pot is also charged extra. It is mandatory to buy drinks or there will be a tea fee calculated per person. It is 3 euros more expensive on Saturdays and Sundays than on weekdays. Overall, the cost performance is not high

So I don't know what to say. Actually, when I came to this place, I knew what style and quality you were in. Of course, even the lowest quality has its buyer and eater. I can only say one thing that it is not a suitable place for people who want to eat good food and look at moderation in eating. If you are dying of hunger, you can find a thing or two and deceive your stomach. But this is not a place to go with friends and companions and eat and drink well.

Good food for the price. It's all-you-can-eat, with drinks being the only extra. There's a hot and cold buffet, as well as teppanyaki and wok options. Chinese hotpot is also available. So, there are plenty of options. Parking is available, and you can take a stroll along the Main River between courses.

There was no host at entrance. Cooked food is not that good at all, not enough flavor or spice, all very mellow... Meat and fish to be cooked by chef was very very plain, no salt, no spices, no sauce nothing... So it was just a waste really. Frozen items which you cook yourself, ones again, we were not shown where there spices and sauces were so they were basic... Sushi were the worst I have ever eaten... Absolute disaster... Not fresh, smelly, soggy rice, no sashimi... Really really bad. Ice cream and grapes were good. Toilet is horrendous, dirty and smelly(male) that you cannot stand there. By 10 staff started to clean everything and pack the food to take home which was odd... I would assume it would be done after everyone from customers would leave. I asked chef to cook me meat with onions and mushrooms, and he was very rude, no specking English, saying to cook by myself in the hot pot which we had. I understand he already cleaned the job but still, it's your open hours, you cannot be upset if someone asks you to do your job... I'd not recommend or ever come back. I believe it is way overpriced for the quality and atmosphere.

We were there for lunch with our grandchildren on May 30th. Yes, it's a mass operation and not particularly cozy. The building and furnishings are showing their age. That's probably more the landlord's fault. Parking was scarce, even though it wasn't completely full. The food is cheaper at lunch, but only somewhat limited compared to the evening meal. But still impressive. The quality was good, and supplies were regularly replenished. Most of it seems to be homemade. Some of it is a bit greasy. The ketchup, mayo, and ice cream are all brand-name. But the value for money is worth a visit for fans of Asian cuisine.

The service was very fast and attentive, and child-friendly. The buffet food was simply inedible and of poor quality. For €24 per person, that's actually surprising. The live turtles in the pool at the entrance, which the children play with, are a case for animal welfare.

We've been there several times now, and I have to say that, as always, everything was excellent. The food selection is extensive. The taste was quite good. From the main course to dessert, everything was excellent. The restaurant was clean, as always, and the staff were very friendly… very child-friendly.

The whole family loves the Golden Wok. We love coming to this wonderful Chinese buffet for any occasion. I've been to many buffets all over Germany and the Golden Wok is still number one for me personally. The quality, price, selection, service, friendliness and ambience are unbeatable compared to many other buffet restaurants. There is only one point deducted for food because the ice cream selection has unfortunately decreased somewhat, but you can't have everything. Thank you dear Golden Wok team, keep it up! :)

There are many of my favorite dishes here, teppanyaki and warm dishes as well as hotpot. The prices aren't expensive either, really great value for money.

We were there at lunchtime and well, for the price it's okay for a buffet, but it wasn't necessarily good and the selection, well, there's definitely more in the evening. But service was nice so not 2 stars.

I was here again with my family on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025 to redeem a voucher for the lunch buffet. Unfortunately, the entrance is not at all handicapped accessible due to the stairs, which can be an obstacle for people who cannot walk very well. There are 8 steps up from the parking lot to the sidewalk. From the sidewalk up to the restaurant it's 11. So there are a total of 19 steps. The buffet itself is actually okay, but I have a suspicion that the spring rolls or some of the rice were not good because I had stomach pains and stomach cramps afterwards until April 18, 2025. I didn't have this after our visit in 2024. Otherwise the ambience is sufficient. However, the blue acrylic decoration on the ceiling should urgently be cleaned of dust as it is unhygienic and does not look nice. For 4 people we paid just under €60 with the voucher. However, due to the lack of accessibility, we will no longer be able to visit the restaurant.

The best Asian buffet restaurant in all of Germany - and that's really not an exaggeration! There is a huge selection of freshly prepared delicacies here: from hotpot and Mongolian grill to seafood, dim sum, fruit, ice cream, fried foods and various hot dishes. No wonder we enjoy eating here so often - one of our absolute favorite restaurants!

Exactly what you would expect from a Chinese buffet. A bit expensive in the evening on weekends but for example at lunchtime it would be a good price. We didn't try the Dutch oven, but it looked good.

Typical "all you can eat" buffet. The food was fresh and tasty. The selection was extensive, and there was a grill. Unfortunately, not every dish came with its own tongs/spoon, and the restrooms could have been cleaner. Overall, I think the value for money was only "okay."

I have been there several times. There are hot pots, buffets, seafood, meat, sushi, fruits, desserts, ice cream, etc. There are so many delicious foods that I almost burst my belly. Clean, good environment, convenient parking, and you can take a walk by the river after eating. It is a restaurant worth frequenting, thumbs up.

After visiting more similar places, I am convinced that the overrated prices are just due to the location; by the river, with a open terrace in the summer. This place in Offenbach (15 km away), which I'm not going to name, offers the exact same menu, as if they would have the same owner who just decided prices by location, where you get a better value for the money (-4 Eur/pers), bigger location but without the terrace and river shore.

The golden wok really disappointed me overall. The service is unfriendly and unfortunately very disorganized. The fresh meat and seafood counter is the best part of the open buffet. Sushi is an absolute disgrace, just bad. Sweets are just bad. Frying takes forever. The buffet was full of pared down cheap food. The price itself is okay.

This is a Chinese buffet restaurant that I often go to. The hall was large and had many seats, so I was able to use it even without a reservation. The staff can speak Chinese and German. All the food is delicious, especially the lamb skewers among the instant Wok dishes.

Nice staff and some nicely decorated but since it was an all you can eat buffet, the store was full and you could hardly walk through. There was a lot of choice of dishes but many of them didn't look appetizing. Hygiene was in short supply and there was an unpleasant smell right in the entrance, toilet and dining area. Some of the dishes and cutlery had leftover food even though they were “fresh”. But if you want "low budget" and authentic food and then do NOT want to consider hygiene, then it's definitely a good place.

Very old, not well maintained but friendly. The food isn't bad, but there is better. The restaurant is "dated" - not bad - but cleanliness is a foreign concept. The table still had sauce residue from the previous person and the floor wasn't really clean. Cobwebs and dust in many corners. Toilets disgusting, it stinks right up to the entrance. It's a shame about the good location - just cleaning it properly would help. Price fair for the food, but we certainly won't be back. There is simply much, much better!

We celebrated New Year's Day. We were 7 adults and 2 children aged 4 and 5 years. We liked everything except the “check”, we received almost half the price.

I highly recommend... I read some negative comments but honestly it's not true at all! Firstly, a wok is a wok, and this one is among the best I've visited: there's a bit of everything, we can't satisfy all tastes but the basics are there, it's worth making the detour: it's also clean and listening services. It was a great experience worthy of the city of Frankfurt.

Disadvantages: There are relatively few types of dishes, especially very few fresh fruits and vegetables. advantage: 1. The service attitude is pretty good 2. I ate at this restaurant today but was extremely disappointed. The hygienic standards left a lot to be desired and the food didn't seem fresh. After eating, I had persistent stomach pain, which further worsened my impression. For these reasons I will not visit this restaurant again and cannot recommend it.

Unfortunately I can only agree with the negative reviews. We went there for lunch and didn't have a good impression the last few times we ate there. We used to only remember beautiful and positive moments. The food from the “hot buffet” was ice cold and didn’t really taste fresh (I tried it from my daughter’s plate after she didn’t want to eat it anymore). My husband and I ordered something on the wok which was also very disappointing. The sushi at the buffet or the mayo that was on top didn't really look fresh. And the baked bananas don't really taste like they were freshly made. The conclusion was that we drove home hungry (from an all you can eat buffet). We definitely won't go there again. In addition, the deliveries were pushed past the buffet between the guests. Unfortunately not a nice experience. Relatively inexpensive compared to other restaurants, but there are definitely some corners saved here.

Let's put it this way: for 15.90 on a Saturday for an all u can eat, the food is ok. You can hardly go wrong with the breaded things, two dishes were quite ok, you should avoid the rest, especially the prawns, which looked delicious, but all of them did NOT have their intestines out. We didn't try the Dutch oven. The ambience is quite nice...but unfortunately that doesn't make the rest any better. I was there for the first and last time. Very unfortunate...

Service top, food not so good at all, unfortunately. I can only agree with Siggi’s assessment on all points! The finished food was dry, partly overcooked, unsightly, etc. Wok & Tepanyaki, on the other hand, were ok, even if you should avoid the poultry (a bit slimy). It used to be much better. Too bad!

We cooperate with the Alarm Clock Tour Group and only give food to cheap people. You will have diarrhea after eating. Your stomach is not made of iron. Please be careful.

Dirty, messy, poor hygiene in need of renovation. We used to go there often and had positive memories of the Golden Wok. The owner has certainly changed and is totally in tune with class. It's clear that you can't expect too much from an All YouCan Eat. Negatives: - The floor was totally oily/slippery. (Especially on the stairs to dessert where our daughter also slipped) - Some of the displays were very dirty. This can happen at a buffet with so many people. You should pay even more attention to this. - Dirt / dust was in every corner. - Inventory is partly in need of renovation and is getting old. - The carts with dirty dishes and leftover food are completely overcrowded. - Meat, fish, vegetables and warm food were hardly replenished (we were there at prime time, around 6:30 p.m.) I find the following particularly negative... - When paying, the waitress only came to our table after repeated inquiries and gave herself a tip!!! It wasn't much, but rounding up the amount without asking was a bit of a scam. Our friends held the device up to their cell phone without hesitation so that it was automatically debited. There was no way to control the amount. Luckily the amount was correct there. - Unfortunately, we also got a look into the kitchen and saw that an employee had run through there with a cigarette. Cigarettes have no place in the kitchen... Positives: - The meat was fried really well and wasn't dry or too tough. - The dishes from the wok were also very good, especially delicious with the selection of different sauces. That's it for the next time with the Golden Wok. Even though it's quite cheap in comparison, I wouldn't recommend it.

The restaurant is designed according to the principle of all you can eat and self-service. You can also take more portions for the same price. You pay a fine of 5 e if something is left on your plate. The food is very tasty. Best to reserve a table!

Zero star. Period. The food is obviously cheap and unhealthy. The service is very rude! (especially the lady at the reception)...and the man behind the grill/wok. Cooking/frying/grilling foods, it is the WORST that we ever encountered in Frankfurt. The atmosphere isn't what we expected, and one of our friends found a piece of steel wool wire (photo attached) in the food, told the waitress and was told "it is the same as can be found in your home food too!!!"...smfh. Most of the foods were salty and unhealthy. The cook do not know how to fry the glass noodle, must be hired from a remote area. And the cook even scolded the customer for wanting the glass noodle to be fried. This kind of rude and poor service would ultimately lead to its fall. The fried chicken wings were half cooked (starting to have a discomfort stomach, bloody shxt). The amount of food available is not much and of low quality. Sushi??? What sushi!!!??? Fried foods available are fried with high amount of flour...yes, unhealthy! Highly recommended not to waste your money here on low quality & unhealthy foods. Will not return. There are many better quality places in Frankfurt.

Bad food, nice staff – unfortunately not recommended I recently ate at Golden Wok and was appalled at the quality of the food. The meat was undercooked and therefore absolutely inedible. The remaining dishes also tasted unreasonable and were sometimes served cold. The ambience was anything but inviting - it seemed dirty and unkempt. The parking lot was more like a field, deep holes and completely muddy. The only positive thing that should be highlighted is the staff, who were friendly and tried hard. Nevertheless, I can definitely not recommend this restaurant. My health was very poor after the visit and I regret eating there. Please think carefully before visiting this restaurant!

all chinese reviews are biased, don't believe it? try it for yourself but why would you even punish yourself financially? though this place might be a fit for you if you are one of them, speak their language, and if you are as aggressive and rude as them.

Went to the “golden wok” this evening when we walked in the door it smelled like fish food and there was a group of people in front of us. The smell came from the aquarium next to the reception. When we arrived at our table it was still smeared with grease from the previous eater. We were initially just sat down and didn't receive any further instructions or a map. We didn't feel comfortable in the atmosphere and left our jackets on because we were afraid of not being able to put them back on when we will come back from the buffet. When the waitress came and brought us the menu, we went to the buffet where we found dirty plates, it looked like a food fight. The satay pies were lying in a pool of oil and water and there were swollen pieces of chicken inside. The sushi buffet cannot be called a sushi buffet because it is not sushi, but rather inedible resi balls. We returned to our table to pay again straight away, which we did quickly as we left the restaurant.

The all-you-can-eat buffet was simply amazing! The selection of food was overwhelming - from fresh salads and delicious starters to international main courses and an incredible selection of desserts. Everything was lovingly prepared and freshly prepared. I would particularly like to highlight the quality of the ingredients, which you could taste in every bite. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere was pleasant, with nice decor and enough space to feel comfortable, even if it was busy. Value for money was absolutely top! For this variety and quality, the price is more than justified. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it. Five stars – more than deserved! Masallah
