Des bandits. Ils cherchent à faire croire que le service n’est pas compris pour arnaquer les touristes. Inutile de donner des pourboires, le service est quelconque. La nourriture est bonne mais sans magie alors que les prix sont élevés. Un endroits surfait qui ne tient plus sa renommée à travers les décennies. Ils sont blasés.

Cadre sympa et les plats étaient bons, mais tout a été gâché quand au moment de régler le serveur a insisté pour ajouter un pourboire à l’addition qui n’était pas prévu. Il est devenu désagréable, voir agressif. Dommage, cela a gâché l’expérience.

As a person who comes from Syria, I understand the Syrian Maza differently, it should consist of Kibbeh, Burak, and Yalanji as well as other delicacies like Baba ghanoush, muhammara and old cooked vegetables from the previous day, with lots of cumin!!! We were then shocked when the plate arrived! This is not Maza at all!!! In addition, the price of €27 is a total scam, it wasn't even worth €10!!!

Jag var där tillsammans med min man. Jag visade tydligt och klart om att jag inte dricker drinkar med alkohol i, trotts detta gick han och hämtade drink med alkohol i. När vi hade ätit klart så var jag nyfiken och ställde fråga till han som hämtade drinken om varför han hämtade drink med alkohol när jag tydligt visade och sa högt. Noter att det inte va mycket folk så det var inte så att vi inte hörde varandra. När jag ställde fråga då svarade han om att han inte hörde, och att han gjorde fel, men attityden förändrades och medans min man slog in koden för att betala så vänder servitrisen bort ansikte och svär på arabiska där han använder könsord, min man förstår arabiska men vi sa inget. Sedan hela tiden jag satt där så kollade de in kvinnor och visslade på de som gick förbi. Väldigt obehagligt upplevelser.

Ero stato in questo ristorante durante un viaggio di lavoro e mi ero trovato bene. Per questo ci sono tornato con mia moglie durante una vacanza. Come allora abbiamo preso due antipasti misti, in più un secondo, una bottiglia di acqua da 25 cl, due birre. I piatti tutti a base di verdure, abbiamo pagato € 101,50. Ci può stare in centro ad Amburgo, ma siamo un po’ al limite…al momento di pagare con la carta il cameriere mi ha chiesto “quanto volevo scrivere”…gli ho detto di mettere un paio di euro in più, e questo con arroganza mi dice “allora facciamo pure 101,50” come dire i tuoi due euro da pezzente puoi tenerli…non credo di dover aggiungere altro. Sono contento di non aver lasciato un centesimo di mancia, e di avergli pure detto quanto è arrogante, e che aveva proprio confermato le altre recensioni negative di altri clienti, che si erano lamentati dello stesso comportamento. After a relaxing walk along the Alster with my girlfriend, I was particularly excited about our visit to the restaurant. It has been a long time dream of mine to dine at Saliba, especially because my sister worked there when she was a student and always recommended it to me. We finally had the opportunity and I was looking forward to getting my own impressions. The restaurant did not disappoint: the elegant ambience and diverse menu offered a fine selection to suit every palate. I was particularly impressed by the main course, which not only tasted great but was also creatively and attractively presented. Despite the price range of 30-33 euros per main course, we found the quality and service adequate for the upscale experience we enjoyed. The service was as remarkable as the food itself. Our questions were answered in a friendly and competent manner, and the staff's recommendations rounded off our evening perfectly. Particularly impressive was the recommendation of a St. Thomas wine from Lebanon, which highlighted another facet of the restaurant – the ability to offer regional wines from the Middle East. Overall, our visit to Saliba was a culinary highlight that we can recommend to anyone who appreciates fine cuisine and a welcoming ambience.

The food was delicious, the view of the town hall and a bit of the Inner Alster was very nice, and various water birds could also be seen. Eten prima, locatie leuk, maar…..bij afrekenen kwam helaas de ware aard van de bediening naar boven. Toen we aangaven met bankpas te willen betalen, werd uit het hoofd een bedrag genoemd. Rekening hadden we nog niet gezien…. Na uitdraai rekening bleek deze chaotisch en de totale prijs veel te hoog. Voelde als oplichting. Er werd daarna ook nog eens expliciet gevraagd om een fooi. Op dat moment zie ik geen reden meer voor een fooi. De ober was hier niet van gediend en liet dit verbaal en non verbaal merken. Dat pikte ik niet…en toen kreeg ik een “snauw” dat het vaker voorkomt bij Nederlanders. Over vooroordelen gesproken. Bij goede service geef ik een goede fooi, geen service of “opzettelijke” fouten = geen fooi. Onfatsoenlijk gedrag, fooi is geen recht…misschien wel in Syrië?

Great food with a fantastic ambience

The Saliba is beautifully located on the small Alster. The outside seating is covered and you have a wonderful view of the river. The restaurant is centrally located and the public transport connection is excellent. There are various paid parking spaces in multi-storey car parks in the area for private transport. The service staff was friendly and in a good mood. The prices are rather high. The toilet was clean.

Today we were there again and tried the food. Very tasty and aromatic Syrian cuisine, we enjoyed it very much. Have a drink here after a strenuous walk. It's lovely to sit right by the water. The service was very friendly and accommodating.

Delicious food, excellent quality, delightful service. A perfect, tasty falafel so light, it almost floated off the plate and into the sky over Rathausmarkt!

We wanted to have a nice drink and dessert in the evening and the waitor who was flirting with another female customer was totally ignoring us. We still sat for a drink as the view was beautiful. But when asked for the bill, no response and we had to go in one by one to pay. I wanted to try their Syrian dish as I was helping Syrian refuges back when I lived in Gaziantep and met so many lovely Syrian families that treated me very nice with hospitality and wonderful food. But their service here is so poor and arrogant, I certainly will not recommend to anyone. I'll have my authentic Makloube with nice Syrian families.

Because of the harbor festival it was very busy and there was a lot to do, so it didn't always go so quickly. Das beste Restaurant der Stadt - einfach genial! Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Essen unglaublich gut & die Location traumhaft! Wir bekamen einen Gruß des Hauses, bestellten eine Vorspeisenplatte, eine Hauptspeise mit Fleisch, eine vegane Hauptspeise sowie eine Nachspeisen-Variation (teilweise vegan). Jedes einzelne Gericht war ein Gedicht. Unser persönliches Lieblingsrestaurant in Hamburg! :-)

We were in Hamburg for a few days and visited the Saliba restaurant. It is a restaurant that offers Syrian specialties. The premises are quite small and it was quite busy when we visited, so it was very noisy. We definitely recommend always making reservations. When we entered we were greeted in a friendly and courteous manner and escorted to our small table. The distances to the other tables are very small. We were even more pleased with the food. All the dishes were beautifully presented and the skin dishes in particular were extremely delicious and tasty. The restaurant also has a good selection of high quality wines. We can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience.

Saliba's cooking class in the Madraset (Eppendorfer Weg). The motto is: Beti Betak - My house is your house. There we had a wonderful, informative, oriental evening with delicious dishes of chickpeas, chicken, lamb and oriental spices. There is also a good glass of wine. Recommended to try at home.

Super friendly Syrian hospitality here. A super cafe serving great food and snacks and cake, coffee and beer. We had a selection of cakes that you would find in Greece and Turkey. The baklava was delicious. Great staff. Situated riverside next to a shopping arcade with seating outside as well as inside. Nice .

When the weather was nice, I treated myself to a break for a mocha, as I always do when I'm on a museum tour in Hamburg. Tables for enjoying mulled wine were set up on the outdoor area of ​​Saliba under the arcades on Jungfernstieg in Hamburg. The gentleman who served the mulled wine brought me the mocha. The food is simply fantastic!!! The employees are very friendly and attentive. The location is a bit cramped but you almost feel like you're in the Orient. The prices are slightly higher but you also get really great quality. It's really worth a visit!

The two of us were there spontaneously last weekend and got a table at 6 p.m. on Saturday without having a reservation. Das Saliba ist ein Tipp von Maria aus dem „Hugo Boss Store“ in Hamburg. Dieser Empfehlung bin ich dankend gefolgt und hatte einen authentisch herzlichen und kulinarisch beeindruckenden Ausflug in den Orient. Die Falafel und der Tabouleh sind absolute Weltklasse! Der Mokka mit Kardamom und ein Pistazien Baklava sind ein absolutes Must-have! Vielen dank für diesen tollen Abend!

Leider nicht so gut, wie es früher war.

Der Service war sehr gut, das essen hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Gestört hat uns etwas der Preis. Auf der Speisekarte im Internet ist das Arkadenmenü noch für 37€ zu finden, während es im Restaurant selber mit 49€ auf der Speisekarte zu finden ist. Die preislichen Erwartungen wurden also etwas enttäuscht. Essen und Ambiente sehr sehr gut.

Wij hebben hier heel lekker gegeten. Wij namen de menu, deze is prijzig maar je krijgt wel waar voor je geld. Bij het afrekenen geven we 2 euro fooi ( zoals in België gedaan wordt gewoon naar boven afgerond) De ober was hier duidelijk niet mee opgezet en telt het geld voor onze neus na en loopt al schuddend met zijn hoofd weg, komt terug en zegt ons brutaal dat tips niet mee inbegrepen zijn! De manier waarop was zeer ongepast en uit schaamte hebben we meer gegeven. Ondanks het lekkere eten, komen we hier niet meer terug. Het was zeer ongepast zo te reageren.. en verpeste de fijne avond.. tips zijn hier dan ook niet verplicht en uiteindelijk wordt je echt opgelicht op deze manier.

Wir waren an Sylvester dort und haben das Sylvestermenü gegessen. Das Essen war wirklich besonders und hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Der Service war aufmerksam und super freundlich und das Ambiente ist zauberhaft!

Nach langer Zeit war ich mal wieder im Salina und das Essen hat uns sehr gut gefallen und der Service war freundlich. Was uns leider nach dem Verlassen des Restaurants auffiel war die Art der „Trinkgeldoptimierung“. Für die Rechnung über 81,50 € wollte ich per Karte mit 88€ zahlen, was mir auch mit einem freundlichen Kopfnicken bestätigt wurde. Eingetippt ins Kartenlesegerät wurden aber 90€, die ich - da ich mir dummerweise den Betrag auf dem Gerät nicht extra zeigen ließ - bezahlte. Ein „Verhören“ zwischen 88 und 90 ist sehr unglaubwürdig. Es ist wohl doch ehr ein unschöner Trick der „Abzocke“! Also Augen auf beim Bezahlen.

Best food of our trip.Would highly recommend The makkaloube and schwarma.Its a Gorgeous and tiny restaurant nestled in a corner with great views .The vibe of the restaurant is relaxed and cozy.This really made our trip .The Service is great too and they add a special touch with the scattered rose petals at every table.A must visit if you love authentic Middle Eastern cuisine.

Immer, wenn ich beruflich in Hamburg bin, zieht ea mich ins Saliba. Das nun seid einigen Jahren. Arbeit ist sichtbar gemachte Liebe, so schrieb der große libanesische Poet Khalil Gibran. Dieser Satz über den Wert der Hingabe in einer Tätigkeit passt zur Kunstfertigkeit mit der bei Saliba die Speisen bereitet und präsentiert werden. Eine große Kultur muss hinter so einer Kunst bei der Anrichtung von Speisen stehen. Besonders die Vorspeisenvariation zeigt mir das immer wieder. Dazu erstklassigen libanesische Weine und charmante Kellner - ich bin glücklich! Immer wieder aufs Neue.

Zum Weihnachtsmarkt der beste Glühwein

Wunderschönes Ambiente, mitten in der Stadt. Der Service ist aufmerksam und unaufdringlich. Ich esse gern die Mezze, da sie vegetarisch sind. Falafel sehr delikat (mag falafel eigentlich nicht, aber hier schon). Der Minztee ist sehr zu empfehlen. Mir gefällt, dass auf den Tischen Rosenblätter und Sesam dekoriert sind. Es gibt einen Fahrstuhl im Treppenhaus, falls gehbehinderte Menschen in den 1. Stock befördert werden wollen.

Als ich die steile und enge Wendeltreppe nach oben stieg kam ich in einer zauberhaften Welt an, für einen Moment dachte ich in Damaskus zu sein... Die Falafel waren perfekt wie alles andere auch...

Es war eine wundervolle ruhige Ambiente. Die Kollegen der Gastronomie haben eine Ruhe ausgestrahlt, man wurde nicht zum bestellen bedrängt. Sehr freundlich und köstliches Essen

Ordentliche Qualität der Speisen im Lunchmenü, hervorragendes Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis, freundlicher Service, leicht gedrungen wirkende und beengte Atmosphäre

Die Bedienung oben im Restaurant verhielt sich grenzwertig, deutlich schlecht gelaunt, kein Interesse an den Gästen, nur gerade knapp nicht ganz unfreundlich. Wir haben uns mit dem Essen getröstet. Aber früher war es hier besser und nicht so überteuert. Die Mazza waren auch reichhaltiger.

16 Uhr Treffen mit meiner Schwester ! Der Kellner zur Schwester : Kaffee gibt's jetzt nicht , nur Speisen ! Ich komme hinzu , Tische um uns herum mit Kaffee/Kuchengedecke ! Frechheit ohnegleichen vom Kellner !! Wir setzen uns und wurden unfreundlich und arrogant bedient ! Solch ein leckerer Kuchen und super Kaffee und eine solche lustlose , arrogante , freche Bedienung ......

Das Ambiente am Kanal der Alsterarkaden ist angenehm. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Die zusammengestelten Mazzas waren schmackhaft und überzeugten durch die Gewürze. Die Hauptspeisen bestehend aus frischen Produkten Fleisch, Gemüsen, Würstchen und Reis waren sorgfältig zubereitet und konnten insgesamt überzeugen. Auch der Wein war recht gut. Das hat allerdings seinen angemessenen Preis. Fazit: wer die orientalische Küche mag ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Bestes orientalisches Restaurant in Hamburg und überhaupt. Hier stimmt einfach alles.

Unfassbar leckeres Essen! Das Essen ist jeden Cent wert! Eine tolle Auswahl an unterschiedlichsten Gerichten, sehr gut zubereitet und serviert. Freundliches Personal, alle Wünsche werden erfüllt, sofern machbar. Reservieren empfohlen, da das Lokal leider nicht sehr groß ist.

Wenn man die Möglichkeit hat, draußen bei Sonnenschein mit Blick auf die kleine Alster zu sitzen, auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert! Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Essen ist authentisch und sehr schmackhaft. Die WCs sind sauber und ordentlich.

Wir wurden freundlich zu Tisch gebeten und haben unser Essen genossen, wurden dann nach dem Zahlen sehr unfreundlich behandelt. Der Kellner, der Augenblicke zuvor ein Trinkgeld erhalten hatte, unterhielt sich nun angeregt und als meine Partnerin hinter Ihnen stand, um auf den Hauptweg zu gelangen, fuhr er sie sehr aggressiv an, sie könne doch einen Weg zwischen den Tischen hindurch nehmen. Das hat uns sehr irritiert und verletzt. Das lässt einem das gute Essen dann förmlich im Magen versauern.

Abbiamo preso 3 dolcetti arabi ciascuno e un the a testa, al prezzo di 8,50 euro a persona. Buoni i dolcetti, però di formato minimalista, e buono il the. Al momento di pagare con carta di credito, però, il cameriere con modi bruschi e ben poca cortesia ha fatto capire che pretendeva la mancia. E visti i toni, non ha ottenuto nulla, al che ha tirato giù un paio di moccoli. Di sicuro non ci torneremo! Chi credono mai di essere? Pessima esperienza. Nota supplementare: per raggiungere bagni e toilette si deve scendere una stretta scala a chiocciola, ben poco adatta a persone che avessero problemi nel deambulare. In base alla maleducazione di chi ci ha serviti, punteggio completamente negativo.

Exquisite syrische Küche in gehobenem Ambiente. Sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung. Das Essen war seinen Preis wert.

Für mich das beste syrische Essen deutschlandweit!! Alles wird super frisch zubereitet und man bekommt einen unfassbar tollen Service. Kann ich nur empfehlen!!

Sicherlich einer der besten Syrer der City!!! Die Falafel sind geschmacklich der absolute Burner! Auch die Mazza sind klasse. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, die Lage mit Alsterblick ist einzigartig. Ein Must Be in der zentralen City!!!

Top 🔝 echte syrische Küche! Unbedingt beraten lassen, da die Speisekarte nicht alles hergibt. Die Komposition der Zutaten und Gewürze ist sehr lecker und die Lage direkt am Wasser mit Blick auf das Rathaus macht die Sache rund und gemütlich. Wir haben unten auf dem Ponton bei 25 Grad einen perfekten Abend verbracht

Das Essen war perfekt, der Service so freundlich und lustig. Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt und hatten einen rundum fantastischen Abend!
