L'Amira in Hamburg

As always, everyone was very satisfied with the service, the food, and the atmosphere. There were nine of us and we're already looking forward to our next visit. Shukran!

I ate at L'Amira's last Friday, and the food was fantastic. High-quality food with great flavors. The prices are reasonable, in my opinion. The service was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it :)

We had a quick lunch; the menu was limited, with a few very tasty dishes that weren't expensive and came to the table quickly. I'm curious to see what the à la carte menu is like. I'd be happy to come back.

I visited L'Amira in Hamburg and was overall very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is stylish, warm, and inviting—you immediately feel at home. The staff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I was particularly impressed by the mezze starters—fresh, varied, and full of flavor. The main courses were also delicious, especially the grilled meat, which was tender and well-seasoned. There's also a good selection for vegetarians. The portions were generous, and the value for money was good. I would definitely go back!

The Steindamm is better both in terms of price and portion size. Unfortunately, the waiter was terrible. He couldn't understand us, so we fled the place as quickly as possible after paying.

Very tasty. Beautiful restaurant. Super friendly service. Four of us ate at L'Amira. Everyone found something to their liking. The selection is straightforward. The dishes were beautifully presented. They not only looked delicious, they were. The service was very friendly and attentive. We finished off our meal with oat ice cream on the house. We'd be happy to come back. Not just for the food, but also because the location is beautiful and the chairs are very comfortable thanks to their good upholstery.

We've been to L'Amira several times and enjoyed it, but only now discovered that they also offer Sunday brunch. Highly recommended: many Middle Eastern delicacies like hummus, vegetable specialties, falafel, and much more, as well as the usual friendly service. We'll be back! :-)

The food tasted okay, but unfortunately arrived cold. Our order wasn't brought in full – we had to ask several times because parts of the food had been forgotten. It was particularly annoying that some of the children's dishes were forgotten entirely, and we couldn't eat together at the table. Although the restaurant wasn't full, the servers were very inattentive. Even after the order was taken in writing, there were repeated mistakes – including with the drinks. Overall, our visit was disappointing and didn't meet our expectations.

We celebrated a birthday there, and I can highly recommend it. To welcome us, we were served a thin flatbread with oil and a spice mix—delicious. For starters, we had a variety of different things—soooo delicious. For the main course, we all had something different to try. Delicious, delicious, delicious, totally my kitchen. For dessert, we had ice cream—what do you think? Of course, delicious. To finish off, we had a delicious piece of baklava. We were all absolutely thrilled with the restaurant, the service, and, of course, the food. Thank you so much to everyone who made this wonderful evening possible. You are fantastic.

It was a very positive, surprising taste experience. We would love to come back and be surprised again with exceptional culinary delights. :-) The service was without exception friendly with a good memory. We arrived there a little after the usual lunch time and were therefore relatively alone. There is a reduced lunch menu with changing lunch menus and a more extensive evening menu. The only thing that was a shame was that at the beginning there was a television blaring somewhere around the corner, which had to be drowned out by a few people and the speakers on the other side were still playing music. Later the television was turned off or at least turned down.

We ordered a buffet for 10 people. The individual dishes were brilliantly seasoned and the portions were huge, there would have been enough for 15. The only thing that irritated us was the amount of plastic packaging. Can't you use reusable dishes? Otherwise everything was fine

Sunday brunch time 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m At 11:45 a.m. the buffet table is already empty. There was no resupply - mind you, 2 hours before 2 p.m.

It's a good three stars. The food was ok. The bread and ice cream were very tasty. Unfortunately, the lamb fillet and duck were too dry and the side dishes were only lukewarm. The portion size is very manageable, but everyone was full. But for the price I would have expected a little more. The service was also ok. The ambience would have deserved three stars, but unfortunately we had to contend with a whole horde of fruit flies at our table. Despite everything, it was a nice evening

Food was very good, portions were sufficient and appetizingly served, service left nothing to be missed, the prices are very moderate, including for the drinks, daily changing lunch menu (up to 3 different dishes for under €11 each), main course €12.90. The selection is quite manageable, but that's not a disadvantage. The atmosphere is a bit sterile, but with appropriate (presumably) Syrian style elements.

What a great tasting meal. Have been there several times now. Last week's lunch (duck leg) was just wow. Nice staff, completely satisfied.

We were there to say goodbye to a colleague. I have to say, awesome. Beautiful ambience and the food is a pleasure for the senses. The taste of my meal (shawarma chicken) was 1a. These appetizers were also great. All in all, unreserved recommendation.

Since we like to venture into foreign territory when it comes to culinary delights, we decided on L'Amira. We were warmly greeted and shown to the table. We were served by the owner himself, who always had a smile and a friendly word on his face. Since none of us had ever tried Syrian cuisine, every course was very exciting. Because spices play a big role in the preparation. As a greeting from the kitchen, you are served pita bread, oil and a spice mix for dipping. The starter “Mazza” is out 6 different varieties various vegetables, pastes and the traditional spicy spices of the Orient, a mega sensory enrichment. From then on we also had a certain expectation for the main course. The grilled lamb kebab, filled with goat cheese, refined with a cherry sauce and raisin rice and the lamb fillet with goat cheese and nut rice, a wonderful taste journey through the Orient. The mocha with cardamom rounds off the menu. Before we could pay, however, the house greeting was a scoop of chocolate ice cream with crunch and balsamic cream. An all-round successful evening that we would be happy to repeat. Thanks to the great team.

More than disappointed, the portions are baby portions, they are children's portions for the price, it's just cheeky to stand there and charge so much money for a mini portion, the taste is okay, the staff was very nice and the atmosphere was cozy, but that has to do with Syrian Eat nothing to do once and not again not recommended

We went there this afternoon with some friends to celebrate my wife's birthday. We had previously asked if we could bring our dog. It said no problem. When we arrived there was a problem. Dogs are only allowed outside. After a short discussion, we were fortunately allowed to stay inside. The food was delicious. Unfortunately my potatoes arrived too late and my dish was already eaten. I wanted to pay the tip with the bill by card, but that wasn't possible. I wanted to round up from EUR 238.50 to EUR 250. I only had a 50 euro note in cash. I told the waitress that I would like 40 EUR back because of all the change. I got 38.50 euros back. I could have said something, but it was too stupid. But I still found it a bit rude.

I can highly recommend this shop. The service is very nice, the food was very tasty. We had the oriental menu and the various starters already convinced us. Everything is freshly prepared and attractively presented. The main course came on a large platter where you could serve yourself. And the dessert, homemade cinnamon ice cream with Syrian baglava, also impressed us and rounded off the entire menu.

Top food, tastes unusually great, was here for the first time and will definitely be back

Dinner and brunch have always been perfect. Unfortunately, the bill is not always correct as different prices are charged than those stated in the menu. Conclusion: this ultimately reduces the tip. Music is very loud, so everyone at the tables is almost shouting during the conversation.

The best thing today is based on an offer when we went. He said the offer is only for me to travel because there is a dishwasher and table service 😂 What a joke. The important thing is that we entered and ordered two Arabic meals. By God, they came out cold and we ate them and we went to charge. The meal turned out to be 12€. I told him why he said there is more money 😂😂😂 even though he Hamburg meal 9.50 and it is the same branch

The three of us had dinner here. Everything that was served to us was of very good quality. The dining room is not very large, but very attractive. Excellent service and the house dessert rounded off the evening positively.

Die Öffnungszeiten ist bei Google 23:30 und hier im Restaurant 23:00, und jetzt um 21:40 gibt es keine Vorspeisen mehr zBz Mazza ( ist zum Beispiel kalte und fertig Gericht) weil die Küche zu ist ! Schade weil wir wollten die Geburtstag schön feiern! Es entspricht leider keiner guten Gastronomie!

The Sunday brunch was extremely tasty with a very diverse selection of oriental dishes. Service was also very attentive and friendly. It would have been great if there had been traditional flatbread with the food.

A very nice restaurant with a good selection of Syrian-Lebanese dishes. It is a family business, which you can feel through its warmth and cordiality. There are delicious starters, as well as fish and meat dishes. The food is very high quality and always nicely prepared. I always feel very comfortable there and can highly recommend it. Price-performance ratio is great. For dessert there is always a scoop of ice cream as a greeting from the kitchen. The ice cream is made in-house. The service is nice and friendly and very attentive. I'd love to come back❤️

I went here with 6 people expecting to get delicious Syrian dishes. There were! The service was very nice and accommodating. The waiter was able to remember our order (6 people, some with special requests) without any problem. The starter was matzah. Very generous and a large selection of different things. The main course was Kibbeh Bil Leban, dumplings filled with minced meat. Subtly spiced, but not too hearty. Finally we have strawberry ice cream with dill. Unusual but very tasty. All in all, the food was high quality, attractively presented and exactly what you would expect from Syrian cuisine.

They had ordered 2 small Fanta, we were given a bonus for the large Fanta and we also saved a lot on food, you were constantly being watched by 3 guys and you couldn't eat in peace. Price/performance ratio is very bad, we normally know Arabic cuisine very differently. You should definitely avoid this establishment. Way too expensive for what you get for mediocre food. You should always check the bill. Waiters are very rude and pushy. I recommend you don't go.

The waiter cracks bad jokes, and since my wife doesn't like stress, I held back. Falafel was ordered for 10.90 and wasn't particularly big, but it was priced at 18.90. Very expensive and very little. A chicken plate for 23 euros was the crowning glory, a handful of rice, 5cm carrot/zucchini pieces (about 10 pieces) and a chicken breast fillet weighing about 100 grams. Absolute disgrace for this huge price for such a small amount of effort. Avoid these rip-offs and eat better and cheaper somewhere else. The worst thing is that you paid almost 70 euros for 2 people and didn't even get full.

Eines unserer "Immer wieder gerne" Restaurants. Das Essen ist einfach immer lecker und bei den Mazzas werden wir auch immer wieder mal mit einer neuen Variante überrascht.

Ich war etwas enttäuscht, von dem lahmen Kellner, es wurde jedes Getränk, einzeln gebracht, Falaffel hat lange gedauert, eh es nachgelegt wurde und es gibt KEINEN Alkohol, keinen Sekt, Wein oder Bier, was man eigentlich, wenn man Geburtstag hat, bestellen würde. Ich finde, da ist BEHANDLUNGSBEDARF. Mich hält so etwas dann ab, dort zu Abend zu essen, da für mich es dazu gehört, einen Wein zum Essen zu trinken.

Waren als Gruppe hier für ein Geburtstagsessen. Die Garnelen waren nicht lecker, der Falafel zwar ganz gut aber die Portionen sind nicht so groß, vorallem nicht für den Preis. Das Essen war zwar schnell da, der Service war aber nicht besonders freundlich. Die Toiletten sind unten im Keller und auf einer der beiden war die Spülung scheinbar kaputt und es gab kein Klopapier. Naja. Insgesamt schon enttäuschend, werden wahrscheinlich nicht wiederkommen.

Wir waren zum Sonntagsbrunch und die Tische bogen sich vor lauter Köstlichkeiten! Die Falaffel wurden mehrfach lobend herausgestellt, aber auch alle Cremes mit Gemüse und Nüssen sind großer Genuss. Es ist sehr einfach sich dort Low carb zu ernähren! Der Punktabzug im Service, weil die Getränkebestellungen wirklich lange gedauert haben. Aber das Essen ist hervorragend!

Leider nur mittelmäßig. Zu überteuert. Habe eine gemischte Grillteller über 20,- bestellt, leider war diese klein. Da gibt es viele andere Türkische/Arabische Restaurants wo die deutlich besser sind. Hier ist nur die Ambiente Gut.
