Nice location, nice service. The price-performance ratio is good. The food tastes ok, the portions are very good and the food came very quickly. We had the shawarma plate and the lamb sausages. At the end there was a delicious Çay on the house.

The service in this restaurant is completely occupied and unprofessional, for all the choices in the restaurant. There is a lot of alternatives available for use in the Umgebung area, but it can be closed this month. Spare your money and other products that are of high quality and service quality. Although there are many alternatives to Syrian cuisine in the area, I can never recommend this place. Save your money and go eat somewhere else where the quality and service are better.

The Mazda was delicious as well as the falafel and eggplant pot. Unfortunately my grill plate wasn't good. The chicken skewer was burnt and the minced skewer was dry and the lamb skewer was toe. The rice is overcooked. And even if it has nothing to do with the food, I don't find broken toilet seats and non-functioning soap dispensers very inviting. I wouldn't eat here again. Too bad

The food was very good. But the service was disorganized, sometimes unfriendly, even disrespectful and there were various errors when ordering because people seem to have problems communicating in German. I would like to give 4-5 stars but the service needs to be significantly better.

I love Arabic food and this was one of the best Arabic dishes I've had so far. The staff was perfect. I had planned my friend's birthday and the staff also helped me deliver the balloons and cake. The food was very tasty, only the pomegranate sauce was a bit too sweet for us on both dishes, but otherwise everything was very good and tasty.

Good food and nice restaurant. They adapted my dish as I do not eat cheese. Really appreciated. We will go back again...hopefully next time they make the magic show of white smoke on our table too

Most importantly, the food was not good. Too little meat and not well seasoned. A clear feeling that this was a tourist trap. The fries were dry and definitely some that had been out for a long time. The salad seemed old, the bread some cheap bread that just seemed far too dry. and the chilli that we ordered was not good

The head of the workers is really disrespectful, my girlfriend and I are in Hamburg for three weeks the Last two weeks we ate there most of the time and yesterday we wanted to sit at the place we used to sit because we have a little dog we don't wanna bother other costumers, but one of the guys told us to sit in the other sit because it was warmer, we did and we had no problem with that once we finished I just got up to ask where we should pay, he talked to us in a very disrespectful way that everyone in the restaurant turned to us as if we have done something wrong because he was kinda shouting at me frome the end of the Hall I got closed to him and told him that I don't know where to pay, he told me in a sharp voice you pay where you eat I can't run after you from one place to another... I just left him and my girlfriend stayed because she didn't understand his language, I don't recommend it.

I can only recommend everyone to come here, eat and spend time. The food is out of this world! The people are super friendly, quick and helpful. Ambient is exciting and very oriental, possibly Arabic music. The owner is the best if he takes care of the guests.

They didn't take care of us at all, no questions asked about what the food was like, whether we needed anything, etc. I would recommend the restaurant, but you should bring your mood.

The taste of the shawarma is okay, but not more than that, as the meat is saved a bit. There are way too many cucumbers for me. It's very busy here, especially in the entrance area. Seating inside and outside, staff functionally friendly, but everything is geared towards 'quick, quick'.

Lovely little place with delicious food and an attentive service. Food comes in typical German quantities - LOTS of it. Which is a shame, we didn't manage it all. The smoking table deco is fun, as are the little lamps. Loved it.

The worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. The Syrian young man who receives the students and works in the hall is very arrogant and looks like himself. I was with my family and didn't say anything. If I was alone, I would have taught them respect. I would never advise anyone to go there. Eating a lot is normal. The place is not very clean. The worst services ever, I don’t recommend this place to anyone, the food was old not fresh at all, the customer service was so poor, they don’t respect customers at all. Not worth the price as well.

Unfortunately we didn't even get to eat. I called specifically to reserve a table for Iftar dinner, whereupon I was told that I didn't need to make a reservation today because there was enough space. We drive 2.5 hours and we are turned away by the employee at the door because they are suddenly fully booked. Clear disappointment, especially if you're fasting and planning to eat at your place. There were many tables in the back that weren't even occupied.

I just want to rate the food here. Lettuce leaves were not clean. The parsley salad was drizzled with too much lemon juice. The hummus tastes almost like it comes from a can (hardly any ingredients). Chop was still raw in the middle. Doner meat in Arabic bread as well. Unfortunately only 1 star for the price. I have already eaten at the other well-known restaurant across the street and can definitely only say the opposite of my opinion about this restaurant.

One of the places on Steindamm that almost creates a holiday atmosphere. Very attentive service and the food comes to the table quickly. We chose the matzah plate and the halloumni plate, both of which were a perfect vegetarian alternative for dinner. Not only beautifully prepared, but also very fresh and appetizing. We had outdoor seating in the evening light and felt far away from everyday life despite the hustle and bustle on Steindamm. Many thanks to the whole team!

We had dinner there last night. We had a starter and 2 main courses. Everything was very tasty and nicely prepared. The owner was also very nice. At the end there was a little tea on the house. We really liked the interior design. It was clean and tidy! We can definitely recommend it!

Wir waren dort mit einer Gruppe von 18 Personen zu Gast. Der Service war trotz kleinerer Sprachbarrieren sehr gut. Der Kellner hatte ein Talent sich alle Getränke und Speisen mit Extrawünschen einfach so zu merken. Dies habe ich so auch noch nicht erlebt. Einige der Speisen hatten leider nichts gemeinsam mit den auf den Bildern der Karten gezeigten Gerichten. Aufgrund der Herkunft der Inhaber wird in diesem Lokal kein Alkohol ausgeschenkt, was ich prinzipiell nicht schlimm finde. Der Großteil der Gruppe war begeistert. Die Vorspeisen waren überproportioniert. Wer also viel Hunger hat, ist hier genau richtig.

Always check the bill!!! I've been here many times and have always eaten well, including this time. Unfortunately the service was very bad. The waiter with the glasses was quite arrogant, didn't even notice us and wasn't engaging at all. At the very end there was a surprise with the bill: a different (and of course expensive) dish was counted on the bill, even though we received the correct thing that we ordered. At first the waiter was annoyed, asked the guy with the glasses, but he couldn't give an answer, and only after we showed a picture of our dishes was another waiter able to finish the correct bill. We were very disappointed with this behavior. They wanted to talk to us in English, even though I have no problem with the German language at all. Very strange! Less stars also for the ambience: We had the feeling that we weren't accepted as foreigners or because of other things. Too bad!

Today we went to Iftar at L'amira. There was a “buffet”. It was absolutely terrible. You couldn't put food on your plate yourself, you had to wait in line for 20 minutes, get your turn and they just randomly slapped everything on your plate and let the next one go. And with such a loveless manner and lack of interest in what you might or might not want on your plate. Very little choice and €65 for 2 people. Ciaooooo never ever, we can really only advise against it.

The restaurant's oriental decoration is very pleasant, and the atmosphere brought me back to old damascus. We tried the restaurant in Ramadan at the Iftar. We had to wait 20 minutes in line to get food, which could've been preventable with some management imo. The food was between great and okay, but overall it was an enjoyable experience and we will probably visit again

My favorite restaurant when we are in the city center. Even when everything seems busy, the waiters find a good seat. Food comes quickly and is great every time. Always a little trip to the Orient.

The first time we were guests in an Arabic restaurant and we were totally impressed. It was very busy, but we still got a table very quickly. There are countless little lamps everywhere on the ceiling. Very nice atmosphere. The staff very friendly and attentive. The menu is designed with pictures so that you know what is on the menu.. perfect.. the food was very good.

Went there on Saturday and it was just terrible service. Food was okay and the ambience too. But the older employee with gray hair was so passive aggressive towards us that we were still polite even though he had such a passive aggressive attitude. We asked him if we could still get hot sauce or if they had something like that, he immediately said no with an aggressive tone and then impatiently took our order so that we didn't dare say anything else. Then we saw that there was rice and hot sauce at the next table and my father wanted to order more rice with it. Since it was our first time there, my father asked the waiter if he could have exactly the same rice as at the next table and he did came straight to us and said what kind and that they had a lot of rice and didn't let us say it and treated us like shit even though we only wanted rice with it and even pointed out what the person next to the table had. I was overwhelmed and didn't know why we are treated like that and whether he could just give us the card again and again he gave us the card passive aggressively and then took the card from us again, completely annoyed. I then asked another waitress if they had hot sauce and he immediately said yes, of course I'll bring it to them and we were confused because the first waitress aggressively told us no, we didn't and another waitress politely told us that they had hot sauce . We didn't understand why we were treated like that and when we asked him why he said no that there was no hot sauce, he laughed at us cheekily and said now there was it again. And actually we would have liked to have left from that moment on We thought about leaving the store in the first 5 minutes because the older man with gray hair gave us such a bad reception, but after we ordered we didn't want to make a scene and thought it couldn't get any worse, but it's still there got even worse. My family and I have never been treated as badly in a restaurant as we were here. We were literally in shock and couldn't explain why the employee was so unfriendly and aggressive towards us. Didn't even deserve 1 star and didn't deserve to get a cent. First time there and last time if you expect friendly service I would avoid going there.

Dass es dort unter der Woche abends richtig voll ist, spricht ja schon für sich. Leckeres Essen, sehr freundlicher Service und zum Schluss gibt es Tee.

Ich habe das Gericht Maklube dajaj bestellt. Und ich muss sagen es war eine Geschmacksexplosion. Die Mischung aus orientalischen Gewürzen, dazu die süße und eine leichte Schärfe einfach nur der Hammer. Leider gibt es bei uns das leider nicht. Der Service war sehr nett und freundlich! Das Essen wurde schnell serviert. Die Vorspeise so wie der hauptgang einfach nur ein Traum. :) ich komme wieder, dafür lohnt sich die lange Fahrt!

Absolute Empfehlung! Super leckeres Essen dort! Habe noch nie etwas bestellt, was nicht geschmeckt hat. Super lecker gewürzt, die Atmosphäre drin ist auch sehr authentisch eingerichtet. Die Kellner tragen traditionelle Kleidung & es wird arabische Musik gespielt. Shawarma Teller & Shawarma Arabi sehr zu empfehlen. Es gibt auch in der Woche immer einen Mittagstisch. Immer ein Gericht mit Fleisch/Fisch & ein vegetarisches für 10.99€.

Hier gibt es kein Netz leider, aber die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und freundlich gebe 5 Sterne, die Ambiente 4 Sterne und das essen Geschmack 4 Sterne.

Essen schmeckt super. Es ist ein toller Ort, um Mittags mit den Kolleg:innen essen zu gehen.
