It's a great place for lunch, dinner or banquet! excellent food, great service! and the design of the room will make you constantly look outside with your mouth open! I recommend it!

After almost two years, I finally went back to one of my favorite restaurants and was pleasantly surprised. We were led into the oriental room, which has become simply beautiful after the renovation: fantastic ceiling, comfortable seating, a pleasant distance from the neighboring tables and a very nice atmosphere. The food was, as always, excellently presented and tasted great. The service was friendly and attentive. A completely successful evening with my family. Highly recommended!

Warm welcome, thanks to the team. The ambience is very spacious, the space between the tables and the large hall give you room to breathe. The music was a bit too loud at times, but it was still a very calm atmosphere. There is probably live music on Thursdays. We had the 5-course menu, which invited us to relax. In general, we had the feeling that we were going out to eat something different than the classic steak, Italian or or - clear recommendation for people who want to challenge their taste buds again. Very nice restaurant, food very tasty and extremely nice service

A very nice oriental restaurant that offers numerous tasty oriental dishes. My wife visited it after a basketball game in the hall at Hohe Weide. We chose the 5 course menu and enjoyed it to the fullest. I also ordered the wine accompaniment, which gave me the opportunity to try out Lebanese wines. The service was very friendly and courteous. A clear recommendation from me.

We were here for dinner with a total of 6 guests. I was annoyed that our friends who chose the menu had to forego it because of us (!). The menu is only served table by table (for your understanding - this is not all you can eat) However, my wife and I wanted to eat a la carte. Even my suggestion to move our table a little away from the others didn't suit the service🥺 Just for the good vibes, I didn't do what I would have done otherwise - I would have left. Still a nice, albeit expensive, evening with friends.

Amazing service. Always very courteous and polite but without seeming stuffy. We were recognized again after 5 months The boys know what they're talking about. No matter whether it's about unusual types of schnapps or elaborate food. The starter plate leaves nothing to be desired. There is something for every taste here. The lamb fillet is second to none. Not a fiber, incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. The taste makes you sink happily into the very good seating. The vegetables and sweet potato strips were very tasty, fresh and also perfectly cooked. Today we were there twice in 5 months because we were staying in the YoHo. Any time. We'll be back for our anniversary.

We received a very friendly welcome, our jackets were taken away and we were escorted to the table. We were given very good advice on food and the right wines. The service staff were very attentive and the starters we ordered were exceptionally tasty and finely balanced. Unfortunately we had to wait a bit for the main course as it was very crowded this evening. The wait was worth it, we got another glass of delicious Lebanese white wine to make up for it. The dessert was the icing on the cake for this evening. Thank you very much, we would love to come back!

After the starter I waited over an hour. During this hour I asked several times when the food would come and they always emphasized “5-10 minutes”. After the third time I left because I was hungry at 8:30 p.m. and ate something somewhere else. My team stayed until the food came, and then people said behind my back that I was in a bad mood. That's right: if I only get an appetizer from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., my mood isn't good. 2 stars because it is nicely decorated and people were polite.

A culinary dream at Mazza Hamburg! We had the evening paper menu and were thrilled. The Syrian mezze as a starter was a firework of flavors, the braised beef cheeks as the main course were buttery, and the dessert with cinnamon ice cream was a perfect ending. Everything was excellently coordinated - from the food to the corresponding wines. The service was attentive and warm, the atmosphere stylish and inviting. An unforgettable evening – absolutely 5 stars!

Today we visited the newly renovated Great Hall and we were very impressed! A violin player also provided musical accompaniment to the evening, which created a very nice atmosphere.

Last Saturday evening the two of us had dinner at Mazza in Eimsbüttel. We had reserved the table and that was right because the restaurant was very busy. Live music was played discreetly on the stage in the large hall by two musicians on Arabic instruments. We were served in a friendly manner and chose the surprise menu. The first course consisted of a variety of delicious appetizers and flatbread, which was prepared in a special oven outside the kitchen and visible to the guests. The second course was fish (sea bass), the third course was meat (lamb) and the fourth course was a delicious selection of desserts (I liked the cinnamon ice cream best). To round things off, we decided on a mocha and were not only full, but also completely satisfied. The service was attentive and the ambience was upscale-chic. We would be happy to come back and try more Syrian specialties.

Eating Syrian has always felt like a taste explosion with different spices and interesting combinations! I was definitely not disappointed at Mazza Hamburg either. The different nuances can be tasted very well and the kitchen conjures up a delicious dish with a super pleasant ambience! Reservation is no problem and the staff is also very accommodating and friendly! I look forward to another visit!

I found out about this restaurant in the Hamburger Abendblatt and then tried it out. The ambience and service were really, really pleasant. The rooms are a dream and definitely a bit more upscale, which is also reflected in the prices/portions. The service from the team was courteous and extremely friendly. I was treated to champagne because they didn't bring me the card straight away and kept me waiting for ten minutes. A pleasant gesture. I had the Syrian starter specialties as a starter and actually ordered two pieces as a main course because the menu was so tempting. One falafel and one duck breast. I particularly liked the starters, spinach, eggplant, hummus, chickpeas and I actually just forgot the fifth plate. But everything was very tasty. You have to like the two starters, they are prepared and seasoned in Arabic. For example, the duck was in an apricot sauce. I think the falafel had a sesame sauce. Everything is a little special. For dessert I had "Knafe", which was a scoop of (homemade? It tasted fresh) cinnamon ice cream with a cake, which can be compared to the Turkish Künefe. All in all, great. I'll be back.

We had our civil wedding celebration in the beautiful Occident Hall of the Mazza. The contact in advance and the organization were very pleasant and uncomplicated. Subsequent questions were answered and clarified quickly. The ambience of the Mazza Restaurant is in an oriental style and we really liked it. The staff was very friendly and humorous. The evening at Mazza was a perfect end to a special day for us.

A nice ambience, although the hall is very high, it has a cozy touch. The staff is extremely friendly. If you're really expecting Syrian food, you won't get your money's worth here. Matzza, 1 portion with five small specialties, none of which taste authentic, without garlic and salt. Real mezze/mazza would also be real hospitality. For the price, more please. Both main courses arrived at the table lukewarm to cold, even though only three tables in the restaurant were occupied. However, a remedy was made without discussion. The main courses were delicious and beautifully presented. The times when the founder's handwriting could still be read in this beautiful restaurant are a thing of the past. All in all, you only go here once if you want to eat oriental food. It is well suited as a crossover kitchen for hotel guests and Eppendorfers.

The service was incredibly attentive, friendly and warm without being intrusive. You really feel valued as a guest, and that makes the experience even more unforgettable. Individual requests were also addressed without hesitation – simply great! Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening and I can't wait to return. Mazza is a real gem in Hamburg and a clear recommendation for anyone who wants to experience excellent Syrian cuisine in a beautiful setting. Labcomida is very well seasoned. The favorites are the vegetarian appetizers, the chicken skewers and the pomegranate salad and to finish the cinnamon ice cream. In addition to the food, they have a good list of very delicious wines. The price is considerable but it is worth it. The staff is very friendly. They were late with our dishes and kindly offered us a free round of drinks. The place is very nice, with good food and extremely friendly service.

Great Syrian restaurant in a beautiful building with cozy outdoor seating in Eimsbüttel. Service very nice. Great cava and wine. The starters are not exactly cheap at 18 euros per person, but they are incredibly tasty. You can only get them if you also order the main course. This quickly adds up to 100 euros. I thought the food was worth every cent. We had falafel with hummus and eggplant rice with nuts and dates. Both tasted great, very nicely prepared and not too greasy. We'd love to come back. There is also a delivery service and ordering and collection is also possible.

Das 4-Gänge-Überraschungsmenü hat uns alle umgehauen. Tolles Essen, super Service und ein sehr gemütliches Ambiente. Sehr empfehlenswert, wenn es mal was Besonderes sein soll.

Wir waren zu zweit, kurz vor Weihnachten da. Zum Glück hatten wir reserviert, denn das Restaurant war ziemlich gut besucht. Schon bei dem Betreten waren wir angenehm überrascht. Das ist mal etwas anderes. Wir wurden sofort zum Tisch geführt. Der Service war den gesamten Abend sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Bestellt hatten wir das 4 Gänge Überraschungsmenü und waren begeistert. Auch die Weinempfehlung war ein Treffer. Das Restaurant war wirklich sehr gut besucht, gleichwohl gab es keine unangemessenen Wartezeiten, alles war perfekt getimed Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wenn ich für das Ambiente mehr Sterne geben könnte,würde ich es tun! Ein so wunderschönes Restaurant, die Leute vom Service sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend,das Essen grandios! Ente mit Kartoffelbrei, Zuckererbsenschoten mit Feigenjus und zum Nachtisch Baklava und Zimt Eis 😋ein Gedicht. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend.

Chic. Am Freitag Abend haben wir einen Tisch bekommen und wollte mich wieder gefahren. Das Essen war ok aber nicht das beste. Ich habe besseren Fisch woanders gegessen, auch in einem guten syrischen Restaurant. Die Bedienung hat lange gebraucht, bis wir das Essen serviert bekommen haben auch mit der Vorspeise. Das Vier Gänge Menü ist ein ÜberraschungsMenü was mir persönlich nicht gefällt, weil man am Ende nicht weiß, was man bekommt im Vergleich zu einem anderen guten Restaurant steht dort explizit was man bekommt und nicht die Reste, wie hier vielleicht der Fall möglich sein könnte.
