Great burgers, cool American atmosphere, just the heating could be turned up a little more.

Homemade fries are very tasty here. Burger was okay. Waiter was nice and friendly. The salad with the burger was a bit disappointing: a slice of tomato, two onion rings, a leaf of lettuce and a quarter of a pickle... I'm not familiar with that. Conclusion: it was okay, next time we'll try a different Burger shop.

They don't show Euro Leauge even though we asked

The name says it all! A popular place to feel like you're in the States for decades! From burgers to cheesecakes, everything tastes delicious!

We were satisfied with our food choices and the taste.

The Route 66 Diner offers an authentic 1950s atmosphere with American and Mexican cuisine. The food is good, the portions are generous, and the staff is friendly. Overall, a cozy place, particularly suitable for meeting friends.  

We (11 girls) celebrated my birthday there and the staff was very friendly and quick. The food, drinks and other requests (music) were immediately implemented with a smile. The toilet was very cold but very clean and well designed. There is an original Cadillac in the restaurant, which gives the Route 66 Diner a great ambience. We'll be back 😀...

Really sweet diner (Perfect for a little date ;)) The food tastes great and the service is quick and friendly. The ambience is appropriate and not too much, but unfortunately some of the benches were broken (cut open, holes,...) or weren't completely clean. But I would and will definitely go again.

Very friendly waitress, we came by on Saturday and greeted Miss and smiled, unfortunately she was blind and immediately put the menu on the table and left, but she was healthy beforehand because a minute ago she greeted two Germans and smiled. HAHAHA. Think she can't see or greet Asia. Too bad.

This place is amazing, I felt like I was in the USA. I am totally impressed with the interior design of this restaurant. The music was absolutely appropriate, the food was delicious and the portions were really big. I would recommend it to anyone who has an eye for aesthetics and loves a good American dinner

Big store and then alone in it, on the weekend at 11 a.m. - strange feeling, above all: is it worth it? Nevertheless, I waited a long time for the second café or the question about it (Café Flat!), the cell phone was probably more interesting... Royal Breakfast: I'm not a king, but I would still expect a little more attention to detail.....three pancakes in definitely not the American Way size, more in the Poffertjes shape, bacon from the warming bowl, but the white of the two fried eggs still slimy... as I said, I was the only one in the shop, maybe there was too much excitement in the kitchen... Payment by card: although accepted according to the receipt, this was questioned because there was a note about the PIN at the bottom of the receipt and it was expected to pay again.... All in all: disappointing, carefully worded. My first review on Google, but it had to be done.

The food was great, as was the service. The only thing that's a shame is that some of the furnishings are very worn out and some of the furniture is broken. The cleanliness of the toilets is also not that good.

The restaurant is decorated very appropriately and the service is also good. Sprite and Vegan Bacon had run out and the first burger was with meat. The fries are very tasty, the burger is average. The toilets were okay. All in all, it’s “can be done”.

The food and the atmosphere were indescribably beautiful. It was so good that I didn't even have the cell phone in my hand when I was there in four hours. So I have to come back again.

Here you can eat very good, very tasty burgers. The salad is also very delicious. Very friendly service and a very original atmosphere make the visit an experience. I recommend that you definitely take a look here when you are in Yvetlin.

Nice diner style restaurant, unfortunately due to its size it seems a bit like system catering. But the food is really tasty and the staff is friendly and attentive. The toilet (can only speak for the women's toilet, I didn't use the men's toilet 😜) was very clean. There was enough parking space in front of the door, despite it being a Saturday evening. It is also reasonably priced. The in-house lemonades are recommended and the milkshakes are also very tasty.

The food, pasta Philadelphia and fachitas with chicken, was miserable. The chicken was so tough you couldn't cut it or eat it. The burger was ok. We've been there many times. But since we found out there was a change in ownership, the quality has deteriorated significantly. The food portions have become smaller and the quality has become worse. The cocktails are also worse than before the change. We definitely won't come back. The two stars are only given because the service was very good. The location and the toilet were also run down. 1.Toilet without a lock you couldn't lock it. 2.Toilet the door is difficult to close and without toilet paper. 3.Toilet door ok but without toilet paper. 4.WC was tired of it. That was our last visit.

What was once an eve-time institution is now a shadow of its former self! What was the whole area around Pariser Str. THE area to go out or start the evening in the nightlife for the weekend. Almost all of the locations no longer exist. Route 66 is actually the last remnant of it and has always kept what it promised for years. Unfortunately, that also seems to be a thing of the past now... Unfortunately, we have to say about the current condition: The interior has suffered greatly, the furniture is worn out and some of it has simply been glued together. Some of the tables are loose, so you have to worry about them tipping over if you lean on them. The former highlight of controlling the jukebox system via a system at the table or typing in a music request for a fee has no longer worked for years. The toilets already smell of urine when you go in (at least the men's toilet), some of the urinals are flabby because they are broken. Nevertheless, money is demanded at the entrance to the toilet. Overall, the whole place looks very old and is in urgent need of renovation. Sad to see how a "hero of his own youth" could degenerate so much, Unfortunately, the food is no longer what it once was. It's true that the food and drink menu has been the same for ages. However, prices have risen sharply (which is ok considering inflation and energy prices). However, unfortunately at the same time the quality has declined significantly. The staff has also been completely replaced, which raises the question of whether the location has not been sold in the meantime. Actually, hardly anything is the way it used to be. Conclusion: the last institution on Olivaer Platz or Ludwigkirchplatz is dead. Which is very sad! But that's the way things go,

Yesterday I had a bill of €325. There was nothing on the house because the boss “Can” wouldn’t want that. We'll definitely spend the next €325 somewhere else. 👋🏼

Disaster! Staff completely disinterested, no welcoming culture at all. I used to love going there, now I'll never come back, as I said: DISASTER!

Looks great and has great decor. The food is small portions and contains a lot of oil. Bathroom is smelly and full of graffiti sadly.

A bit of an outdated diner that needs to be renovated. Burger OK and also just OK in terms of price. Nice retro design friendly service colleagues.

A very nice shop, food also very tasty. However, the smoking area is regularly closed long before closing time. It's open until 3 a.m. on the weekend and you're no longer allowed to sit down upstairs at 10 p.m. is a mystery to me and doesn't make sense because you'd spend a lot longer upstairs and therefore order more. For me personally, this is a reason to go much less frequently.

There's a smoking lounge upstairs, that's why two stars and not one. Prices are ungodly. You can save on food. Cocktails just like that

The burger was excellent. The milkshake gave me great pleasure. The fries were crispy and perfect. Unfortunately a little too salty.

The nachos had almost no cheese and the cheesecake was inedible. There is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to operation.

I think you pay for the ambience. The place is really worth seeing and is also very large (probably makes the rent expensive). The fries looked good, but only tasted like grease. The burger was quite good, but is served without sauce and with your own toppings (is that the case in the USA?). The topping was a bit tricky with the hot meat. The service wasn't unfriendly, but it wasn't motivated or close to the customer either. The price for the homemade lemonade was outrageous. There is hardly anything drinkable in it, instead the glass is filled with limes and mint. It was tasty, but I finished it in two sips and paid €6 for it.

Food was good. Service also tried hard. You definitely need to invest in furniture. Everything falls apart 😅

AWESOME STORE! The food is only average, but the ambience tops everything like in America

The furniture has already seen its best days. The seating is a bit older, my bench has just fallen apart. The food was ok, the chicken wings were swimming in the barbecue sauce, but it didn't taste homemade. The frozen chicken wings from Aldi are better. The cheeseburger with egg didn't taste very convincing. Afterwards there was a strawberry shake without cream, which all in all made up for the visit.

Great tent for a quick bite to eat.

Had been there several times before. It is now no longer recommended. Ordered two cocktails yesterday. The first one had hardly any alcohol in it, when I wanted to complain about it, the shift manager had to come first and made it clear to me that he would only correct it out of necessity. The second cocktail had too much of one ingredient, so I left it almost full. I didn't want to declare it anymore because it was already annoying me. This isn't the first time this has happened. It's actually a shame, but given the prices, something like that just can't happen. It was the last time there for me.

The burger was quite decent, the fries could have been a negative Can serve as an example of how not to prepare them. The service was miserable. The waitresses were busy with themselves and not with the customers. The overall result does not motivate another visit.

I went back to the store after 7 years and brought my colleagues with me. The service was also pretty lackluster. Had a lime-mint drink, the mint was very brown and I couldn't taste it (€6/0.5l/30-40% ice). The burgers are delivered on a plate with fries, a bun and a patty along with a slice of cheese. A leaf of lettuce/tomato/onion was placed next to the “burger”. The patty: first bite, pink inside, means the meat wasn't cooked properly. Also lacking salt and pepper. Tasteless "burger". The fries look good, even though they were deceptive, they were very soft and inedible. Lunch menu: Cheeseburger with fries €9.50. It's not worth it, Kreuzburger or Burgermeister clearly make better burgers. Even Mcce's tastes better. Can't recommend it at all. After paying, the listless waitress didn't even ask if it was tasty or if everything was OK. Just whether we want something else.

Friendly service, good food, diner style - we were satisfied

We are incredibly disappointed! We used to enjoy eating here often, but our last visit was a complete disaster. At first we waited for over 15 minutes for the menu, even though employees kept coming by and it wasn't even particularly busy. Our order was not written down and - what a surprise - it was delivered incorrectly. In addition, one of the dishes was ice cold, for which there was a replacement, but it came so late that everything else was cold by then. In addition, there was no apology, rather we were given the impression that our complaint was a nuisance. By the way, the toilets weren't clean, the ceiling in the hallway was half collapsed and the TV was so loud that you couldn't hear your own words. We then waited another 15 minutes for payment and finally we were charged for completely different dishes than we had ordered (and received!). When we didn't tip after the whole fiasco, the waitress stormed off angrily and without another word. We have never had such a completely negative experience when dining out!

The diner is decorated in classic USA style. It fits very well and the burgers were great. The restaurant is very large, so it's easy to find a seat.

Very open-minded staff, the prices are okay and the food is super tasty. The atmosphere is very pleasant. It transports you to America, or rather, the way you imagine America. The menu is wide-ranging, so everyone can find something they want to do. The restaurant is very close to the Ku’Damm, which means you can recharge your energy reserves after a successful day of shopping :)

Open until 1 a.m. but today around midnight there was no more drinking because there was no barman left and the service wasn't able to make a whiskey and cola to go...I thought that was also part of the training in the catering sector...unfortunately I and my friends have been sent home several times. Tip from me: Close the shop at 4 p.m.... Eating out isn't worth it either... the rancid food is spread all over the corner... What a shame

Americans beware. Flavorless, tough, chewy, overcooked pancakes. Sunny side up eggs are tiny, dry and overcooked. Not one true classic American breakfast on the menu. Looks like a German menu with a slightly American-sounding twist. Perhaps the locals might like this place but are woefully and unknowingly missing out on real and traditional American fare. The service was stereotypical: cold, weird, and Germanic. Sorry guys, I don't know how else to put it. The one lady stares while you eat, the manager is strange, creepy and borderline rude, and the cook comes out to do the rounds and see who he's cooking for. He looks like a recent escapee from an asylum for the criminally insane. The walls are overdone with American clichés; just a foreigner's impression of what America is like. I just want to buy their cook a plane ticket to Texas so they can visit an IHOP, Denny's or Waffle House and get a clue of what a real American diner is all about. Maybe they can browse their menus online and take a few tips? Would not return here for a free meal and based on this experience do not understand where 4 and 5 star reviews are coming from. Definitely do NOT recommend. If you're in the mood for American you're better off going to McDonald's, Burger King, Subway or Domino's Pizza. My real rating would be negative 4 stars. Would not be surprised if they close down in the near future. Just awful awful awful.

Im from out of country here visting for the first time. Well, their website said on Saturdays there open to 3am. I tried Uber eats around midnight. They waited 20 mins and then declined my order 😒 so when I called and was told I had to come in there not doing online orders. If that's the case, turn off your ordering system.

Hello, (student) On Tuesday August 27th, 2024 we had dinner with you with the 10th grade. I found it quite good. The store wasn't that bad, as you were happy afterwards that you were full at all. The communication at the dinner table only consisted of my colleagues just having your burger and fries, even though it wasn't bad at all. The store itself also looks good, very war criminal cough cough American there was even a car in there so I don't know how to get it in there safe you cheated

Although we called on the same day, they only told us when we were sitting at the table that there was no steak. The beer is non-carbonated. The burger was OK and the fries were OK too... but nothing more

Unfortunately we couldn't try out the food and everything else in the steak restaurant to rate it because something important was missing... STEAK….

Das Route 66 hat seine besten Tage hinter sich. Der Burger war super trocken und geschmacklos; Pommes fettig. Mittlerweile bekommt man in vielen Biergärten bessere Burger. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Interieur teilweise schlecht geflickt. Keine Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Nie wieder.

The ambience was certainly nice at one time... the seats are now very worn. The food was ok. But not particularly. The waitress only pointed out when we asked when paying that coffee could be refilled free of charge... It certainly has potential, but a lot needs to be done...
