The food was okay, the service was very good, and the waitress was very nice. But it really wasn't busy (there weren't even 10 tables occupied in total), and we waited an hour for two burgers and two sandwiches. And the prices are decent... It could really be better.

Delicious food in a nice atmosphere

Sold as a "classic/plainstyle burger with a side salad," we got meatball buns with a tiny dollop of sauce, and the "side salad" consisted of a small lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, and a slice of cucumber. So, basically what you'd expect as the meager minimum on a classic burger, but it was just a bun with meat and a hint of sauce. This is a terrible scam. You can get better-topped burgers at Burger King for €2, lol. The fries were mediocre ("edible," but nothing more). The restrooms were also ungodly dirty, almost unusable.

Very good food and a great atmosphere. A bit pricey.

We received a friendly welcome and were given a free choice of seating. The restaurant looked like something out of a picture-perfect American-style restaurant. We were served quickly, and my vegan Wild West burger was excellent and very close to beef. Highly recommended and we'd gladly go back :)

Super tasty burgers in a great atmosphere

Food was good, atmosphere was good, music didn't match the atmosphere...the negative was...eating on broken plates...we had to fish out a wasp for iced tea...so much for the management of the place...the employees pass it on but the boss doesn't do anything...thus 2 stars

I was at this restaurant last night. I absolutely loved it. Everything looks very American-style. My first visit here left a very good impression. The food was good. The service was excellent and friendly. The girls are passionate about their work. I'd love to come back.

Very very tasty, were there for the first time, would love to go back

We were there to watch the Champions League and I'm shocked. I've experienced bad service in Berlin before, but today's was truly amazing. 24 minutes from entering until my order was taken. Three tables in our waitress's area. Beer was empty and no one was there. At times, three waitresses were chatting at the cash register, one was on her phone, and service was nonexistent. At times, no one in our area had a drink. Nobody was interested either! The furniture is falling apart, the glass wasn't properly clean! 2 of the 3 urinals were broken!

The good rating for service is, of course, EXTREMELY dependent on the person and the time of day. We were VERY LUCKY. A young, tall, bearded man with a bun was not only quick, attentive, and polite, but also extremely thoughtful and attractive. We were there on a Saturday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and it was EXTREMELY empty compared to before. Unfortunately!!!! 😭 I wish the place a LOT of satisfied customers. The ambiance is uniquely beautiful. The music selection doesn't spoil the conversation. It's a shame the jukebox isn't as functional as it used to be. It was always great fun. The food selection is plentiful, as are the portion sizes. Always recommend ordering the sour cream as an EXTRA. There's a lot of American and Mexican food here, with GIANT SHAKES and homemade lemonade. The outdoor area by the church, within earshot of the fountain, is more than idyllic in the summer. Yes, this and that area absolutely need to be updated or renovated! The toilets are rotting away and the toilets are completely broken. They need to be re-covered. THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE

The food and atmosphere were absolutely top-notch! I was there with my girlfriend. We chose a quieter corner, but strangely enough, we were moved because someone told us that no one would serve us at that spot. It wasn't bad, but it was strange.

If you prefer processed cheese (milk powder, melting salts such as sodium phosphates, colorings, flavorings, preservatives) to cheese, this is the place for you. If you don't, just have a drink.

Nice restaurant, the service was great, but unfortunately the food wasn't my thing. The burger tasted just "okay" and was quite small. The fries were quite greasy. The Coke I ordered also tasted quite watery...

Got cold spare ribs and the second time again. And then you say something about it and they don't really react appropriately. Really a shame because last year we had a really nice meal.

Burger OK, fries homemade but a bit raw

Absolutely love this place! Route 66 American Diner in Berlin hits all the right notes — juicy, made-to-order burgers, incredibly crispy homemade fries, and genuinely friendly service. The staff checked in more than once to make sure we were happy, which was a great touch. The retro Americana décor adds a fun vibe, and the background music sets the perfect mood without being overwhelming. The spacious beer garden is a big plus, especially on sunny days, and everything from the seating area to the bathrooms is spotless. I came here years ago and was thrilled to see that the quality is just as high now. Highly recommend for anyone craving great food in a relaxed, classic diner setting!

We arrived there late in the evening and got two delicious cocktails.

Burgers were OK, nothing too crazy but home made chips were delicious. Nice service, prices OK. Update. A couple of years later it seems like this place is going bit down the hill. It needs renovation. It seems that the food has gotten worse too but the prices have definitely gone up. For a family of four you have to expect to pay 110-120 eur, and that's just basics with one spare starter, main course (mainly pasta) and a drink each.

The food was good! Service was rather grumpy from the start. You can get better and bigger burgers in Berlin.

Nice people. About the ambiance: we wanted to turn on some music on a music machine, but we were ripped off coldly...my poor Euro... About the food: We ordered burgers, but we said we wanted one burger well done and the others medium rare. The only one without pink meat was a medium-rare burger. The burgers used to taste better about three years ago, as did the fries. A total letdown. For that price, I could get better at McDonald's. Our sauces were also old; the mayo was sticky and looked stale.

The atmosphere of the Route 66 Diner is good and lives up to its name, even if it could use some renovations here and there. The food (burgers) is average—there are better burger joints in Berlin. Wi-Fi is available, and there are also several TVs with sports channels. In winter, it gets quite cold, as the large room with the high ceiling is difficult to heat (although they brought us a blanket). In summer, there's plenty of space in front of the restaurant. Service was friendly. Prices are OK.

4 stars overall , 3 of them go just for the milkshakes , those things hit like crazy, literally the best milkshakes I have ever tried. Burgers and fries were okay , but nothing special. Do not order nachos even if you are held at gunpoint. Very funny vibe to the place , it is like if they collected every single stereotype about USA and put it in one place , which isn’t bad but quite the opposite Would and will go again just for the milkshakes And they have a car inside the place.

The service was always keen to do their best. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, just like I remember from America; the location really brought me back to that place. The food was typical American cuisine, and the theme wasn't missed.

We had burgers, one came without lettuce and tomatoes, so plainer than plain... the limp fries are a real matter of taste... the Caesar salad is a huge plate with romaine lettuce, watery dressing and mild parmesan, plus one (1!) cherry tomato in slices, delicately sweetly placed around and five (5!) croutons... no anchovies... relatively... PLAIN... like the burgers... The nice service saves this correspondingly plain rating. All in all, American cuisine is not exactly famous for its diversity and so you get exactly what you would expect here in the appropriate Hollywood atmosphere.

Shitty & overpriced food, okayish service, decent atmosphere.

Relaxed atmosphere in diner style. A delicious selection of burger variations and beer in the pitcher if you like. Ok, I know the nachos and blue cheese wings differently, it was more German style, but it was ok. The burgers are big enough and tasty. After initial difficulties with the service, it was a great evening. It reminded me of my trip on Route 66. It will be on the agenda again for our next visit to Berlin.

Not recommended. The food was disappointing - tasteless, carelessly prepared and sometimes cold. The service was disorganized and unfortunately did not make a good impression in terms of hygiene. This was one for my daughter so I didn't hold out much hope but I loved it. Was the best burger I've ever had. The atmosphere was great and all of the pictures and music was exactly what I wanted to see and hear. So happy she picked it.

Another company that hopes to delete bad reviews by complaining to Google and trampling on freedom of expression. When I visited years ago!! this was available: Unfortunately, a toilet is the flagship of a restaurant. Unfortunately, it left a lot to be desired. Pungent smell, probably wooden toilet seat that was slightly swollen due to damage. There are further deficiencies regarding the toilet... The very courteous service and the good food cannot make up for this. The ambience was very nicely decorated, although it looked a bit worn out. There are extra smoking areas on the upper floor. It is not defamation if I tell the truth and unfortunately there was a strong smell of urine from the toilets. It may be that this has been fixed, but then filing a complaint is unfortunately very weak. When I lose my appetite despite good service, ambience and food when you... I had to go to the toilet and I would like to give my opinion.

The food there is incredibly delicious. I can only recommend it to everyone.

It's a Route 66 and unfortunately football is constantly being shown on TVs 🫤. That totally spoils the atmosphere. Otherwise beautifully decorated and nice and friendly service. Food is also very varied and delicious. Was there again after over 10 years. One of the women's toilet doors could be repaired. 🙏

Yesterday I was in the restaurant. When I asked about vegan options, I was quickly told that they have some burgers. Unfortunately, this is still not a given. The selection was good and it tasted good too. Maybe a little expensive, but everything has become expensive. I would definitely recommend the restaurant. Oh yeah... the staff were really nice and really quick too.

Very spacious ambience and spacious, yet cozy and comfortable. Some big screens for games and several draft beers, my favorite is CZ Budweiser.

Homemade fries are very tasty here. Burger was okay. Waiter was nice and friendly. The salad with the burger was a bit disappointing: a slice of tomato, two onion rings, a leaf of lettuce and a quarter of a pickle... I'm not familiar with that. Conclusion: it was okay, next time we'll try a different Burger shop.

The Route 66 Diner offers an authentic 1950s atmosphere with American and Mexican cuisine. The food is good, the portions are generous, and the staff is friendly. Overall, a cozy place, particularly suitable for meeting friends.  

We (11 girls) celebrated my birthday there and the staff was very friendly and quick. The food, drinks and other requests (music) were immediately implemented with a smile. The toilet was very cold but very clean and well designed. There is an original Cadillac in the restaurant, which gives the Route 66 Diner a great ambience. We'll be back 😀...

Really sweet diner (Perfect for a little date ;)) The food tastes great and the service is quick and friendly. The ambience is appropriate and not too much, but unfortunately some of the benches were broken (cut open, holes,...) or weren't completely clean. But I would and will definitely go again.

Very friendly waitress, we came by on Saturday and greeted Miss and smiled, unfortunately she was blind and immediately put the menu on the table and left, but she was healthy beforehand because a minute ago she greeted two Germans and smiled. HAHAHA. Think she can't see or greet Asia. Too bad.

This place is amazing, I felt like I was in the USA. I am totally impressed with the interior design of this restaurant. The food was great, as was the service. The only thing that's a shame is that some of the furnishings are very worn out and some of the furniture is broken. The cleanliness of the toilets is also not that good.

Big store and then alone in it, on the weekend at 11 a.m. - strange feeling, above all: is it worth it? Nevertheless, I waited a long time for the second café or the question about it (Café Flat!), the cell phone was probably more interesting... Royal Breakfast: I'm not a king, but I would still expect a little more attention to detail.....three pancakes in definitely not the American Way size, more in the Poffertjes shape, bacon from the warming bowl, but the white of the two fried eggs still slimy... as I said, I was the only one in the shop, maybe there was too much excitement in the kitchen... Payment by card: although accepted according to the receipt, this was questioned because there was a note about the PIN at the bottom of the receipt and it was expected to pay again.... All in all: disappointing, carefully worded. My first review on Google, but it had to be done.

The restaurant is decorated very appropriately and the service is also good. Sprite and Vegan Bacon had run out and the first burger was with meat. The fries are very tasty, the burger is average. The toilets were okay. All in all, it’s “can be done”.

Here you can eat very good, very tasty burgers. The salad is also very delicious. Very friendly service and a very original atmosphere make the visit an experience. I recommend that you definitely take a look here when you are in Yvetlin.

Nice diner style restaurant, unfortunately due to its size it seems a bit like system catering. But the food is really tasty and the staff is friendly and attentive. The toilet (can only speak for the women's toilet, I didn't use the men's toilet 😜) was very clean. There was enough parking space in front of the door, despite it being a Saturday evening. It is also reasonably priced. The in-house lemonades are recommended and the milkshakes are also very tasty.

The food, pasta Philadelphia and fachitas with chicken, was miserable. The chicken was so tough you couldn't cut it or eat it. The burger was ok. We've been there many times. But since we found out there was a change in ownership, the quality has deteriorated significantly. The food portions have become smaller and the quality has become worse. The cocktails are also worse than before the change. We definitely won't come back. The two stars are only given because the service was very good. The location and the toilet were also run down. 1.Toilet without a lock you couldn't lock it. 2.Toilet the door is difficult to close and without toilet paper. 3.Toilet door ok but without toilet paper. 4.WC was tired of it. That was our last visit.

What was once an eve-time institution is now a shadow of its former self! What was the whole area around Pariser Str. THE area to go out or start the evening in the nightlife for the weekend. Almost all of the locations no longer exist. Route 66 is actually the last remnant of it and has always kept what it promised for years. Unfortunately, that also seems to be a thing of the past now... Unfortunately, we have to say about the current condition: The interior has suffered greatly, the furniture is worn out and some of it has simply been glued together. Some of the tables are loose, so you have to worry about them tipping over if you lean on them. The former highlight of controlling the jukebox system via a system at the table or typing in a music request for a fee has no longer worked for years. The toilets already smell of urine when you go in (at least the men's toilet), some of the urinals are flabby because they are broken. Nevertheless, money is demanded at the entrance to the toilet. Overall, the whole place looks very old and is in urgent need of renovation. Sad to see how a "hero of his own youth" could degenerate so much, Unfortunately, the food is no longer what it once was. It's true that the food and drink menu has been the same for ages. However, prices have risen sharply (which is ok considering inflation and energy prices). However, unfortunately at the same time the quality has declined significantly. The staff has also been completely replaced, which raises the question of whether the location has not been sold in the meantime. Actually, hardly anything is the way it used to be. Conclusion: the last institution on Olivaer Platz or Ludwigkirchplatz is dead. Which is very sad! But that's the way things go,

A very nice shop, food also very tasty. However, the smoking area is regularly closed long before closing time. It's open until 3 a.m. on the weekend and you're no longer allowed to sit down upstairs at 10 p.m. is a mystery to me and doesn't make sense because you'd spend a lot longer upstairs and therefore order more. For me personally, this is a reason to go much less frequently.

There's a smoking lounge upstairs, that's why two stars and not one. Prices are ungodly. You can save on food. Cocktails just like that

The burger was excellent. The milkshake gave me great pleasure. The fries were crispy and perfect. Unfortunately a little too salty.

The nachos had almost no cheese and the cheesecake was inedible. There is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to operation.
