Had a lovely evening, with good food, delicious Büble beer and a classic ambience.

The diner is very tastefully and stylishly decorated. As a starter, Nachos Arizona with two dips of aioli and sour cream, the aioli had no taste. Then for a whopping €24.90 Fajitas American Beef the delights are not overcooked until tender, carelessly prepared and lukewarm, boring in taste. The drinks on the other hand were OK 👌 Cuba Libre and Fidel Castro if you want something to drink then the price is OK but way too expensive.💸💸

The Flame Diner is a restaurant where I have never been disappointed. The food, even apart from the burgers, is great. The service is always very friendly, even when I'm there with my children.

Was invited here for dinner for the first time. The 2/3 rib portion was so delicious. This was definitely not the only time I was here.

Food delicious, service could sometimes be better staffed, I don't mean the service staff but the number of service staff. 20 minutes to place an order???!!! It's not really fun when the troops are thirsty.

We had our company Christmas party there on Friday December 6th, 2024. So you knew there would be a large group of people coming, because a nursing service doesn't just have one employee! The meat of the burgers was fried to death. You had to wait almost an hour for a drink. When asked, the answer was that there were simply too many of them. So that doesn't work at all! If I'm expecting a large group, I either get additional staff for the evening or cancel straight away. The cocktails were mediocre, you could have just ordered mocktails. The staff was visibly overwhelmed. The sign outside to Open End should be removed, as this is not true. At 11 p.m. you were allowed to order your last drink and at 12:10 a.m. you were then kindly escorted out. So much for Open End!!

Best onion rings ever, great western burger with extra bacon and for the wife a sensational Caesar's chicken steak burger. Heart wants more. Tiny point of criticism - the top of the bun was a bit dry, so one would have liked a juicy brioche bun.

Nice, American-looking diner with a great atmosphere. The food is decent, especially the burgers and the ribs. The cheesecake and the blonde angel are not recommended. All in all a good location.

Fast and good service. The design of the store is great. It's a lot about films and music. The menu features classic American dishes. Numerous burgers, numerous fries, spear ribs, milkshakes and the like. I had an Amarena milkshake and an aloha burger. Plus sweet potato fries with maple syrup and bacon. So starter nachos with rooster and cheese gratin. Milkshake - tasty but not exceptional 4/5 Nachos - large portion with lots of rooster and lots of cheese 5/5 Main course burger - no good buns, meat was only lukewarm and fried for too long. Rather dry. Good in terms of quantity. 3/5 Fries - great! 5/5 It should be emphasized that people with disabilities (hearing impaired) also work in the store! I think it's great!!!

Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated in recent years - the hamburgers used to be great, but now some of the food arrives cold. The HB is poorly done, when you book it is shown that you have booked and then when you get there you are told that you have no space and you are given a side table without a light. Great American style diner. Large selection of burgers and other dishes. The atmosphere shows various films, some of which are set in the 50s and 60s. To round off the meal, we recommend the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream (but then share!).

Great, typically American furnishings with very good food. Huge burgers with the option to choose sides. The service is quick and friendly. You can really enjoy the evening here. Always my pleasure.

I just thought it was great. If you like burgers, this is the right place. In my opinion the price/performance ratio is also ok. Today was my first but certainly not my last visit.

The diner's furnishings are typically American. Ordered a table via email. When we arrived at the restaurant they said there were no reservations 😕. However, I was able to prove the reservation using the confirmation email. We were then placed in a separate room ☹️ and almost forgotten. It took quite a long time to take our order. The fries on the burger were almost cold and the nacho chips with the chili only had crumbs from the bag. The empty plates stood on our table for over 30 minutes without anyone showing up. Also no drinks could be ordered. Only after I approached a service person directly and complained did the service work. This separate room is certainly okay if you have a private party, but not recommended as a general guest. You literally sit away from the shot. I probably won't eat there again

Ausstattung des Diners typisch amerikanisch. Hatte per E-Mail einen Tisch bestellt. Bei Ankunft in dem Lokal hieß es, es gäbe keine Reservierung 😕. Die Reservierung konnte ich aber anhand der Bestätigungsmail nachweisen. Man hat uns dann in einem separaten Raum platziert ☹️ und fast vergessen. Es dauerte ziemlich lange, bis man unsere Bestellung entgegen genommen hat. Bei dem Burger waren dann die Pommes fast kalt und bei den Nacho Chips zum Chili hatte man nur noch die Krümel aus der Tüte. Über 30 Minuten standen die leer gegessen Teller auf unserem Tisch ohne das sich jemand blicken ließ. Auch konnten keine Getränke bestellt werden. Erst nachdem ich direkt auf eine Service Kraft zugegangen bin und mich beschwert habe, funktionierte der Service. Dieser separate Raum ist sicherlich okay wenn man eine private Feier hat, aber als allgemeiner Gast nicht zu empfehlen. Man sitzt förmlich ab vom Schuss. Ich werde dort wohl nicht mehr essen 😕

Great quality food (delicious steaks/burgers), cold drinks, friendly service and great ambience. The deaf owner has really organized himself very well and, despite his handicap, has the shop well under control. Always happy. -------- Update after a long time: Reservation messed up. Table wasn't ready when we came. There are no steaks anymore. Unless you take a fillet for €42.50... Then the food... a shadow of times gone by. Corn on the cob starter came in the middle of the main course and was ice cold. The salad with chicken breast strips was a joke for 16 euros with cheap chicken breast fried whole and then chopped into 5 fart-dry parts. The citizens are just run-of-the-mill industrial patties with soggy fries. And the beer? Cold, but poured like tea. Without any flowers and the glass clearly below the calibration mark. It makes you wonder how a once good store manages to run so badly. Out of 5 stars, 2 remain, but only because the atmosphere is still quite nice.

Great restaurant! Furnishings/ambience in the style of the 60s. Very nice boss who cares about his customers coming home satisfied and full. The restaurant offers American dishes as if you were in the USA. A USA flag flies at the entrance gate, parking spaces right in front of the door, quiet location, music not very loud so you can talk and hear each other. Service very nice and not intrusive. Conclusion; MUST VISIT AND FOOD TASTY LIKE IN AMERICA 🇺🇸! THANK YOU, we PROMISE we'll be back!

We were there very early today. Service lady super personable and friendly! It seemed to be busier than usual at this time, she was busy. We ate very well and will definitely come back.

An American diner, the way you want it. The ambience is worth seeing, simply outstanding. There is a small criticism of the food because the vegetables were not fresh. But that's complaining at a very, very high level. All in all, a highly recommended diner. We'll definitely be back.

Rarely have I had such delicious fries and the burger was also great, especially something different with tuna. Very yummy. The ambience is lovingly designed and despite the seating areas, there is enough space to move around. And very important: very friendly staff!

It's not easy to find right away, but it's very well located. From the outside you can't tell what a cool restaurant this is. I was really really excited. I can really recommend it.

one of the best shops if you love spare ribs: high quality, really from the grill (not a deep fryer), you can see if you order the sauce next to it, not on top. They are so tender that they slide off the ribs and are still crispy. You don't even have to put your hands on them! Full rack just something for very large stomachs or take the rest with you. Comes with a large portion of French fries and a lovingly prepared salad. €29 is definitely reasonable. And our own parking space and outdoor terrace and of course nice, attentive staff, also great. Gladly again soon

Unfortunately a bit hidden in a small commercial yard. 1. great service that knows its stuff. 2. Very tasty burgers. 3. Very cool interior design. 4. Terrace rather small I can imagine that you can also organize smaller celebrations here in a very cool way.

Should I or should not I? I had a hamburger with bacon and there was probably cheese too. It was pretty tasty. Oh yes, there were also fries, but the price/performance ratio... A malt beer (0.33l) for €4.90,... If it had been 0.5 l I wouldn't have said anything... We were a large group, around ten people. Everyone had paid their own and also tipped well. At the end there was a wheat beer available for €5.50 (with alcohol) But no one had, they were all bikers. In any case, none of us had that and then the service got a bit snippy.

Very bad service, we waited half an hour for her to come to the table, when she came I couldn't resist telling her that I would have liked to have a drink half an hour ago, but not anymore. Afterwards she cashed in from all the other tables and shouted loudly to her colleague, “We’re lucky, everyone wants to pay”!! Our table came at the end, I hold out the money to her and she still goes to my friend first. At the end there was a stupid comment about when others are dissatisfied with their lives... Incomprehensible.

Food really tasty but prices too high. Above all, I expect large portions at an American diner and that was definitely not the case. The shakes were also way too small. Music is loud (but it was also live music), so conversations are not possible but it's okay if you know it. Service was quick and super friendly. Conclusion: And what's the moral of the story, you don't skimp on salad and side dishes! Prices don't match the portions, especially with the cole slaw I had to smile a bit, couldn't you find a smaller bowl?

ich war über einen zeitraum von 2019-2023 bestimmt 10x in diesem laden essen, und werde dort nicht mehr hingehen. fangen wir mit dem positiven an. das ambiente ist gut, evtl etwas kitschig, aber das kann ich nicht beurteilen, da ich noch nie in USA war, und somit kein vergleich habe. alles ist auf rock n roll, elvis und harleys getrimmt, die musik ist etwas eintönig (aber immernoch besser als abba im remix bei pho 36), die klos sauber und zweckmässig. gefallen haben mir auch die spencer/hill bilder an den wänden. das personal ist meist freundlich und zuvorkommend, und jedesmal jemand anders wenn wir da waren. die wartezeiten für essen und trinken sind meist im ramen. mal geht es recht schnell, mal muss man länger warten. die preise waren für qualität, ambiente und lage damals noch angemessen. da ich schon länger nicht mehr da war, kann ich das aktuell nicht beurteilen. da aber in jedem restaurant in lichtenrade und umgebung, in dem ich in letzter zeit war, die qualität nachgelassen, als auch die preise angezogen haben, wird das vermutlich auch hier zutreffen. aber kommen wir zu den unschönen sachen, die mich diesen laden in zukunft meiden lassen. die qualität des essens hat über die jahre merklich nachgelassen! die buffalowings schmeckten zuletzt eher wiederlich, die burger waren auch nicht mehr das, was sie mal waren. die preise stiegen, wie überall, langsam an. die letzten paar versuche, in diesem laden einzukehren, scheiterten daran, das uns 2-3h vor schliessung gesagt wurde, es gebe nur noch getränke, da die küche bereits zu ist. da kommt man sich etwas komisch vor. einmal wurden wir vertröstet, da "der herd defekt sei" und es somit keine warmen speisen gebe. ein anderes mal wurden wir abgewiesen, da angeblich jeder tisch in dem halb leeren laden reserviert sei, und wir mit einer längeren wartezeit rechnen müssten. wenn man dann das dritte mal umsonst hinfährt, und sich um 21:00 umorientieren muss, da wieder etwas nicht so klappt, wie es in einem normalen restaurant klappen sollte, dann wirds nervig, und man meidet den laden halt. insgesamt kann ich auch kein restaurant in lichtenrade und marienfelde mehr empfehlen, überall: qualität runter, portionen kleiner, preise rauf. das trifft auch auf läden in ganz berlin zu. es ist irgendwo nachvollziehbar, der staat und dessen obrigkeit wollen den mittelstand ausrotten, erst die clubs, nun die gastro, entgegen dem versprechen, die mwst nicht zu erhöhen. was soll die gastro machen? man kann nur am personal, an den portionsgrössen oder an der qualität der zutaten sparen, da kaum gäste bereit sind, die preise zu bezahlen, die für angemessene entlohnung, qualität und portionen anfallen. ich koche fast nur noch selber. diesem hexenkessel und dem risiko, wieder mindere qualität und einhergehende enttäuschung zu erfahren, setze ich mich nicht mehr aus. eventuell hilft bei der entscheidungsfindung, ob man diesem laden einen besuch abstatten möchte, auch ein blick auf den ur-amerikanischen namen des betreibers. muss jeder selber wissen, ne!?

Wir waren mit 13 Personen dort, hatten die unterschiedlichsten Burger, Gambas, Salate etc und alles war richtig gut. Sehr gute Burger, eine riesige fantasiereiche Auswahl! Bei super Musik in einer sehr gemütlichen Umgebung. Auch der Service war sehr herzlich und aufmerksam. Wir sind als Firma einmal im Jahr in Berlin - könnte mir vorstellen dass es nächstes Jahr wieder auf der Wunschliste unserer Kollegen steht. Eine kleine Bitte: im American (!) Diner würde ich dann auch gerne mit der namentlich passenden Kreditkarte zahlen wollen. Kleiner Punkt, aber dennoch.

The food was ok, the service was okay. The bartender walked past the table 4 times and despite being "bored" didn't manage to clear our plates. The waitress was also rarely seen. It's not all that bad, but what struck me as very negative when I got the bill was the price of the apple spritzer (with still water). Is it possible that a 0.4 l non-alcoholic drink costs 6.50 euros, but a 0.4 l Alster water costs "only" 5.50 euros? I find that more than cheeky and unacceptable! The prices of drinks in the catering industry are no longer comprehensible, but announcing the price for a 0.3 liter apple juice with 0.1 liters of added water has a new quality. For me that is a reason not to visit this store again.

Four of us were there on Thursday, February 22nd, 24 from 6:00 p.m. and had a great evening. Very cozy road house atmosphere, I could have stayed there forever. The service was perfect. She was super personable and attentive. The nachos were very tasty, the burger was also tasty but not the best you can get in the area. Unfortunately the fries were a disappointment. They were very dry and bland, there was no salt or spice on them. It wasn't possible to add salt yourself because the salt no longer stuck to the fries. However, I find the prices to be a bit too high for the location and the type of food. But we'll definitely be back, hopefully the fries will be improved, then the price won't hurt so much 😉

Nice atmosphere, nice service. Unfortunately, very bad tasting cocktails. Even the most common ones were not as e.g. B Maitai can be recognized in the taste.

Unfortunately, the music was too loud for us to entertain... and when we asked the boss, they unfortunately refused to turn it down, even though we were the only guests at 12:30 p.m.... so we left.

I come to the Flame Diner regularly. Mega atmosphere and great ambience. The cocktails are great and so is the food. You feel like you've been transported back in time.

We actually wanted to go to another American place, but there were no more burgers there around 6 p.m.... in a burger shop🤔 so then we went to Flame. We already know the store and have always been satisfied. With luck we got a table for 5. Service, food, music were simply great. We'll be back - definitely 👍🏻

We were slightly shocked when we looked at the prices. A steak for 42 euros. And there's only one steak at Flame Diner. Or, burger, 20 euros. That was a bit too hasty for us.

Now I haven't been there for a while and we thought we'd stop by again. Well, a look at the menu, everything from the old, but probably new operator. The prices: the burgers 14.90 upwards, the additional patty 7 euros is an estimate! Would that mean a double Chesseburger costs 22 euros??? The milkshake 8.50 euros. It has to be at least a liter, but I didn't even ask. I ordered the western burger. My wife is a veggie and that meant she was a little short. There are no veggie offers. Now we had the wedges, fries, chips plate and a stale shandy. I got an Allgäuer Büble as a wheat beer even though it wasn't on the menu as a wheat beer. Anyway, off to the barman who, like the other service staff, was mostly busy with his cell phone. There was no Superbock... Corona ok! ... the burger that came to us was actually very tasty. The atmosphere was like 6 years ago but without a common theme. The motorcycles are gone. Elvis is playing. ET is now riding his bike through the room and Groot suddenly appears... the seats and benches are randomly thrown together. From various restaurants or remnants of other catering areas. No style. Cables from electronic devices hang everywhere like in a typical kebab shop or a southern restaurant. Hmmmm. Conclusion: This has nothing to do with American Diner anymore. Loveless and without style. The staff was friendly but actually always busy with themselves. I think the owners have nothing to do with diner, motorcycle, 50th, Elvis and rock'n'roll. It's a shame... so much could be done with it...
