Hard Rock Cafe in Berlin

Mandatory stop in every city I visit. Here in Berlin, due to time constraints, I only had a short visit to the shop to expand my t-shirt collection...

The prices of all hard rock, unfortunately, are always very high 😞

Edit to add details after Manager commented on review : Our server didn't ask thoroughly what our choices for the kids' menu were - just assumed it was fries I guess, and also assumed the drinks size (kid vs adult serving), forgot to serve the included adult menu salad and the kids toy. We found out too late and also needed to leave. The chicken was a bit salty, kids meal quite plain. Burger was "ok". The cheesecake and chocolate cake were very good though! I've been to Hard Rock Cafés in different cities - main dishes could be better elsewhere but you could visit due to the atmosphere, great with the music, and place quite spacious.

Anyone who knows and loves Hard Rock will always be happy to go there again. Super delicious food. Special requests are also taken into account. Service staff mostly speak English, but that wasn't a problem for me. We were allowed to bring a dog with us and it was treated very well on site. Always happy to come back.

Like every Hard Rock Café, this one is also recommended, the goods have been here several times, the food is of good quality, and the prices are reasonable. Staff really nice.

One of the worst places I ate in Germany, struggling to digest all night. The meat was of poor quality. The wine they served directly in the glasses, without uncorking it or even telling us the brand or type, had never happened to me in my life!

When it comes to food, there is nothing crazy. Beautiful decor. The staff tries hard and cares about the customer. Minus point: dirty bathrooms.

Hard Rock without soul, the worst I've done. The service is super slow even though the restaurant is almost empty and my meat arrived cold and not cooked at all.

Hard Rock Café Bar was great again. This time I even got a cocktail that wasn't on the menu because I didn't have to pay for the non-alcoholic cocktails on offer. I think it's really cool. And the onion rings are always awesome and not quite as much as burgers or nachos

Our drinks were okay, there is still room for improvement. You can't just walk in there, even if it's empty. You will be assigned a seat 😯 not everyone wants to eat. We would give it a good 3.5, but there isn't.

I was a bit skeptical at first because some of the reviews were really bad and my experiences at other restaurants in the chain weren't always really positive. But it's a tourist must 😂 The service was great! The first question is about intolerances or allergies. I've actually never had it like that before. When ordering, you also have to ask yourself whether you want ice in your drink at all, as it's very cold out there... Should the burger be well done or medium? It all had style and didn't seem fake or annoying at all. The burger? Class! Meat exactly as ordered, fries crispy and, above all, hot (right Munich? That's how it works too). The ambience with a place on the 1st floor is also very cool. What I found funny as an older semester was the music that was played. I really enjoyed the Bee Gees, Simon and Garfunkel, Fine Young Cannibals, etc. But I've never heard of it in a hard rock cafe😇

We reserved a table on January 18th, 2025. We had a menu. The food was absolutely top. The waitresses and staff were all very friendly. A special compliment goes to our service man Sergio, who just had his 4th day there that day. You are super !!! We'll be back. Thanks to the entire team for the lovely hours there.

A rather small Hard Rock in comparison. 2 floors. Unfortunately, many of the team or almost all of them don't speak German. You should pay attention to this if you don't speak English. Service was quite slow but very friendly. I thought the prices were quite high, but you have to be clear about that beforehand. The flair was a bit weak compared to other hard rock, which was a real shame. But otherwise worth a visit.

The Hard Rock Cafe in Berlin has the most unique menu specifically catered to that HRC! My first Hard Rock Cafe experience outside of the United States was back in 2018 in Berlin--simply put, it was phenomenal!

No reservation needed. Fast service. Very professional. Huge portions. American style ambience which is to be expected, every detail is interesting, like a mini museum.... The toilet is tidy. Well done people!🎯💪🏽

In advance - please reserve a place otherwise you may not get a table. We tried several times on our last trips to get a table there without a reservation - it didn't work 😀. Reservation online: Emails come in English. Experiences from October 2024 Wheelchair users can access the upper area via an elevator and there is a toilet. Map: only in English -> used Google Lens to translate as my English is not the best. Food: the burgers we ordered were very good and also tasty. And arrived hot. Drinks: Cola was a flat rate, very positive. Beer tasted good. Ambiance: very nicely designed with all the guitars etc. Unfortunately very loud. Reception and the service speak very little to no German. I understand that the English language is part of the atmosphere... but if it gives the impression that the customer doesn't speak English, that should be addressed. The following sentence may be too German: Despite everything, we are in Berlin, the capital of Germany. Our conclusion: it was a nice little experience. But we wouldn't come a second time.

Like any other Hard Rock. If you've never been to one, go! If you've already been and like to be present at each of them, go! If you like burgers, go! But in Berlin there are options to just eat

Great food for someone wanting American type foods.

Nice place but just a bit pricey

A pleasant space with great music and excellent gastronomic pleasure left an impressive impression on me. A friendly but professional waiter named Flin, who served us, only confirmed my recommendation to come to this Hard Rock Cafe.

Good lunch, good service. It's not the first time I've visited, I don't recommend the Chicken Caesar Salad, not much sauce and as you can see from the photo a small piece of chicken. The BBQ sauce on “Baby Back Ribs” wasn't good. My daughters' dish “Cowboy Ribeye Steak” was excellent, I recommend it. Chicken Wings so-so…nothing special. Nachos are no longer what they used to be both in flavor and quantity. The drinks are very good.

I went there spontaneously, the restaurant was of course packed. I didn't expect anything different and I don't rate this. What really bothered me was that no sales staff in the shop could or wanted to speak German. If the native language is no longer spoken in the German capital - good night! Or are the salespeople only allowed to speak English? In the shop there are T-shirts and other clothes only in children's sizes! Why am I a hard rocker with a trained XXXL if nothing fits me?

Hard rock products have a very small sales point, there is no shopping area, there is no food and beverage section, the tourist attraction is located at Okan Berlin Checkpoint.

Natuurlijk een T-shirt aanschaffen. Door tijdnood niets kunnen nuttigen. Overdag zagen we ook nog een Hard rock shop bij checkpoint Charlie. Beide vestigingen hebben de zelfde souvenirs. Alleen is de gene op de Kurfusterdamm een stuk ruimer opgezet.

The food and decoration are perfect. Even our waiter has a US accent. The price performance is great.

Buy a T-shirt of course. Couldn't eat anything due to time constraints. During the day we also saw a Hard Rock shop at checkpoint Charlie. Both locations have the same souvenirs. However, the one on Kurfusterdamm is a lot more spacious.

“You’ve NEVER been to a Hard Rock Café??? Then we definitely have to go there!” And so I came to my lunch and the question of where this hype comes from... It is (and I write this with love) an average good restaurant, with a very average menu and the quality of the food is okay. The price is appropriate for the location and therefore okay… The really nice service made a lot of difference, and yes (!) I am now the proud owner of a T-shirt... but it's not like I have to go to the nearest Hard Rock Cafe. I'm really sorry, because the service was really great. 😊

It has been a constant favorite with our visit for years. First have a good meal at the Hardrock Cafe and then go for a leisurely cocktail. So again this time. Unfortunately the quality of the food has deteriorated extremely. Burgers are now served without coleslaw and baked beans. Only add dry French fries, without sauces or anything like that. The plate was a very sad sight, but that was a real highlight that I was happy to recommend. Unfortunately, those days are now over for us and despite the good service and pleasant atmosphere, it can't be given more than 1* because of the inferior quality of the food. This disappointment pushes everything else out.

Always that Hard Rock Cafe it's a nice alternative to have some informal food with great flavors and good prices.

The atmosphere seemed more ordinary to me compared to other hard rock cafes I've seen in other countries. If it weren't for the clothes and guitars of a few famous people hanging there, I'd call it a normal hamburger place. I had fajitas this time, they weren't bad but the meat was undercooked and not julienned as it should be. My son really liked his hamburger. The service was a bit slow but I guess it was because it was so crowded. Of course, as always, the gift shop was full of beautiful pieces.

We booked in for Christmas Dinner and it was an interesting experience. The food was Hard Rock standard fare, but what made the occasion was the lively atmosphere and the cheerful and dedicated staff. Our server was on top of things all the time and seemed to be enjoying herself, as were the other customers. I'll mention again that the food was standard fare you would get at any Hard Rock on the planet, but maybe due to the volume being produced or the chef's cooking style, the food was drier than I have previously experienced at a Hard Rock Cafe. It didn't spoil the occasion, it is just an open observation. We will visit again when we return to Berlin.

I actually always go to a Hard Rock Café when I'm in a city that has one. 90 euros for 2 citizens, drinks and a dessert. It has simply become too expensive

I have visited HRC Berlin many times, even the first one which was one of the most beautiful HRC's. Last time it was just OK.

Excellent service! Our child was sleeping in the stroller, and since the only vacant tables were upstairs, the staff kindly led us upstairs with service elevator. Gluten-free options are available, and the mocktails were excellent and refreshing! Saw some customers with their dogs inside. Greetings to the brilliant and funny gentleman who served our table!

Food and service was amazing. Food tasted good and also was served fast. But why three stars? Because it's Hard Rock Cafe but I hear 99% times pop music, came for the music but stayed because of burger and beer.

The fact that English is spoken throughout takes some getting used to, but otherwise everything is first class.

Our favorite place to visit in all the capitals of Europe and Berlin is no exception. Attentive and smiling staff. We ordered the signature ribs and a hamburger, which were very tasty as always. I recommend it to everyone.

I still remember the year 1992 when the Hard Rock Café opened in Berlin. We were all thrilled at the time because it brought a bit of quality of life and culture to the city. In the years that followed, I frequently visited the café with foreign guests, tourists, friends and family. It was my personal must-see place in Berlin, and the concept of collecting t-shirts from various hard rock cafés around the world had a real cult status. Unfortunately, my visit last night, after more than ten years of abstinence, was a bitter disappointment. We had reserved in advance and were still seated on the first floor in a rather uncomfortable walk-through space for two people. Although the cafe was busy - showing it's still popular - chaos quickly began. The order was taken quickly, but an hour passed before the starter was finally served. And another hour until the main course came. I chose the “Messi Burger” with chicken, although I have been trying to eat very little meat for years, I had high expectations as the advertising was promising. Unfortunately, the food was a disaster: the burger was cold, the cheese was already hard, tasteless and simply inedible. The fries were also cold. I couldn't bring myself to eat it. I still remember the quality of the burgers back then - they were big, juicy and reminiscent of the American lifestyle. There is nothing left of it today. The prices for drinks and cocktails are extremely high and the price-performance ratio is not at all good. My wine came in a water glass. Previously, each table had its own waiter who was friendly, attentive, and eager to provide typical American service. There is no trace of that anymore either. The annoyed waiter couldn't speak any German, only spoke English with an incomprehensible accent. The atmosphere is bland, the service uncoordinated, and the quality of the food disappointing. I will no longer visit the Hard Rock Café Berlin. It was once a cult place Very unfortunate

After almost 55 years, the Hard Rock Cafe in Berlin is unfortunately no longer what it once was. The music is hardly rock anymore, but rather poppy, stale and mostly from the eighties. The food is completely overpriced and the quality leaves a lot to be desired. I get significantly better value for money in any other American burger shop. Unfortunately this coincides with my experiences from other German hard rock cafés.

Great food and great service from Floren

This has to be my favourite Hard Rock Cafe visited so far ! The service is pretty amazing and the staff very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them . It’s in a nice location near to public transport and other bars and restaurants and it is beautifully laid out . We enjoyed the Christmas menu that was on and thoroughly recommend it . Well done .

Brigid was the best waitress I’ve ever had, so attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Honestly the best experience I’ve ever had at a Hard Rock Cafe, and I’ve been to a lot. Highly recommend, just for Brigid alone. Fantastic service and food.

We visited the Hard Rock Cafe for a light bite to eat whilst in the city as it’s become something of a tradition to pop by if there’s one in a destination we’re visiting. We arrived at 16:30 on a Saturday and it was crazy busy! So much so that we weren’t sure we would get a seat but thankfully there was a table for the 2 of us, albeit we were told we’d have to be out after an hour due to it being reserved. The food is the same standard quality that you’d expect from a HRC and the menu is typically the same as well - predictable but comfortably so. The staff were great, super friendly and welcoming - it did take a few moments to get drinks and the order but that was only due to how crazy busy it was!

My “always to go” beef salad had low quality beef meat inside. The rest of ingredients were fine. Our server Martina was very nice and polite.
