Hard Rock Cafe in Berlin

Cool decor by authentic international pop-rock artists, delicious gluten-free burgers, and a wide selection of gluten-free options on the menu.

I can't comment on the café; we were only there for the shop. It's quite small, but stocked with the necessary T-shirts and a few other things. Note that only English is spoken there. In front of the café, you can mint the typical 5-cent coins, the kind you see at zoos and the like. One mint costs €1, with four different designs to choose from. You can also get a special order for €2, but it was empty during our visit.

For Berlin hard rock, I expected something more sensational.

For ttadiZione we went to the shop, not the bar...small but quite well stocked.

Well, I expected more from this meal. Personally, I didn't like the food. The service was, of course, first-class. But the prices are quite high. For me personally, it was my first and last time there. But as I said, it's a matter of taste. I think the prices there are very overpriced for what you get. But it's just the Kudamm and the atmosphere.

Great service from Kiran (excuse the spelling if that’s wrong). My date loved her fajitas, my bbq platter was good, although a bit heavy on the crispy onions for me (but I am a fussy eater) and if you’re sat outside expect to have some nice (and loud) cars go past, not a problem for me. Would recommend to anyone. Plus the 2 for 1 cocktails didn’t go a miss either

If you're not put off by ordering in English and enjoy burgers, this is the place for you.

Plenty of space, as it's spread over two floors. The downstairs area is the only area for drinks. The food is delicious but expensive. The restrooms are always very dirty and worn. Unfortunately, there's a language barrier, as the waiters don't speak the local language.

We were lucky and got a seat right away without a reservation on a Saturday evening. The service was very friendly, and the wait for the food was reasonable. We really enjoyed ourselves! It was a pleasure to linger at this iconic restaurant.

Absolutely groundbreaking experience. I ordered food, and what showed up was… nothing. Genius! Why waste time on cooking when you can just send people the concept of dinner? Minimalist cuisine at its finest — invisible entrées, zero calories, full price. And the drinks? Served colder than my server’s interest in delivering them. Nothing pairs better with an empty plate than a beverage that tastes like it’s been chilling in the Arctic since the Ice Age. Honestly, I didn’t know I was signing up for a fasting retreat with a side of hypothermia, but hey — at least it’s consistent. Would I come back? Sure, right after I develop a taste for disappointment and frostbite cocktails.

I drank the Bahama Mama alcoholic cocktail and ate the New York cheesecake. Everything was fast and delicious. Mr. Recep took care of us. He was very friendly and attentive. I was satisfied.

Very nice, but without air conditioning it loses a lot

Upon arrival, the tables outside are chaotically arranged. Inside, the situation improves. The venue is spread over two floors; the atmosphere and attention to detail are inferior to other Hard Rock cafes I've visited, such as those in Paris or London. Overall, the interior of the venue lacks character. Very friendly staff, decent food.

The restaurant is very nice but otherwise it's not ok at all. We waited about 15 minutes until the waiter noticed us even though there weren't many customers (about 12 in total in the downstairs room). It took about 10 minutes for the beers to be brought to us. The bartender was preparing everything by hand, close to us, without gloves, cocktails, ice, etc. The chicken wings had a few spines on the feathers, they were not done and had a very bad taste.

Mr. Recep took excellent care of us. This is already a world-famous restaurant we love, and we love their clothes, too.

Hard Rock Cafe is simply Hard Rock Cafe. Expensive but good. The quality of the T-shirts is back on, but 45 euros for a belt and a shirt is pretty steep, even for me as a collector.

Mr. Recep, the security guard at the door, looks everywhere and greets everyone. He is a great guy. I think he should be put in a better position. He loves his job.

We're in Germany, and the waiter barely speaks German... a bit odd. He's also very pushy, insisting we order quickly. The music is a bit too loud, but that's a matter of taste. Prices are very expensive.

Disappointed by the poor quality of the burger meat. I don't know where the meat came from, but it wasn't good tonight. We didn't finish our plates. Otherwise, the hard rock cafe-trained servers do the job.

We visited the Hard Rock Cafe Berlin and had a great evening overall, with one small "but." * Ambience (5/5): Absolutely fantastic and the main reason to visit. The music is great, and the many exhibits create a unique, cool atmosphere. * Food (4/5): The food was very tasty and the portions were generous. There was nothing to complain about. * Service (4/5): The only criticism: We had to wait outside, even though there were many free tables in the restaurant. It gave the impression that everything was full, which wasn't the case. However, the service at our tables was impeccable, fast, and very friendly. Conclusion: If you overlook the somewhat artificial queue at the entrance, it's a clear recommendation for an atmospheric evening with good food.

We were thrilled; the friendly welcome, advice, and service were excellent. We had a table on the balcony, but unfortunately, you can't hear any music, supposedly because of the neighbors. Instead, you have to endure the street music (in this case, a violinist). It's a shame, so only 3 stars for the ambiance. The food was very good across the board. In the store, I personally have to say, unfortunately, the nice shirts are only available up to size 2XL, and the standard shirts are also available larger.

As always Hard Rock....rocked. The guys downstairs in the gift were very helpful. Ana was our waitress and we were well taken care of. Keep up the good work guys. 👏

A must-see in major European capitals.

A legendary café with a matching décor. Friendly service. The food is what you'd expect from this café: lots of burgers, cocktails, and beer. The latter, by the way, is half price on Wednesdays. Great deals on other weekdays, too.

We had a nice experience at Hard Rock Cafe Berlin. During our visit to Hard Rock Cafe we met Recep who works there by chance and it was a great chance for us. Because Recep welcomed us wonderfully and recommended us his favorite dishes. We had Nachos, Messi Burger and Ribs on Recep's recommendation. All three were very good. He also gave us a discount coupon for the Rock Shop, which was a very nice gesture for us. Our waitress was also attentive and friendly. In short, our experience was great. Recep made us a reservation for Sunday and we will be back for Sunday dinner.

In terms of taste, it was the best Hard Rock Cafe I’ve been to. The Legendary Burger was legendary, and the fries and sauces made it a 10/10 set. Also, I’d like to thank Mr. Recep who took care of me.

This is my first time at an authentic Hard Rock Cafe! It was unexpected for me in Berlin, but it's so well-appointed and professionally decorated, with real legends on display on every wall! I'm thrilled by the treasures proudly displayed by legends like David Bowie, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Jon Bon Jovi, and so on... Inspired by my personal bartender Cosmin and the perfectly organized service overall, with a cool shop in the entrance/exit area, I can only give this place the best 5 out of 5⭐️! A true eye-catcher in the German capital!

Picked a good time, so not too busy. Served quickly. There is a lift for those unable to use stairs. Food is as expected, portions a good size and we were all satisfied with the taste and amount. Oh, and a good German beer ...

Food and service were top-notch as usual! I expect the Hard Rock Cafe to play hard rock, or at least rock music. Today, they played lounge music. According to the waitress, management wants the music to be generally acceptable. I find that odd, given all the exhibits of music history on the wall. It ruins the atmosphere, in my opinion.

We got a table for three without a reservation. The burgers and fries were delicious, and the service was friendly. "BUT" the music wasn't exactly hard rock, so we left after eating and having a drink. Our expectations for the ambiance weren't met.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but I was really disappointed. The music wasn't worthy of a Hard Rock Cafe. I really expected something different. The burgers were delicious, but the service was really abysmal. I waited over 30 minutes for my cocktail. 😞. Too bad. On my next trip to Berlin, I'd rather go somewhere else.

The Hard Rock Café Berlin 🎸 is definitely worth a visit. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the food and drinks are delicious. We'd love to come back.

We were there with a larger group on July 28, 2025. I'm a little disappointed with the Hard Rock Cafe. Unfortunately, the whole evening was all "!!Bongo Music!!!" from the charts. Two somewhat rock-oriented songs in three hours!! That was Billy Idol and Creedence Clearwater Revival! The whole name "Hard Rock Cafe" just doesn't fit anymore. The food: I ordered a BBQ combo, with fries, a heaped tablespoon of pulled pork and a chicken leg. I initially thought it was an appetizer!! The neighboring table with the same dish had at least half a chicken, really disappointing. The service: The staff were very friendly, but I think they could have doubled the sales on drinks. Wait 20 minutes for a cocktail? I won't go there again.

We went to the Hard Rock Café in Berlin, and I don't recommend it. First, it's very overpriced, and the music has absolutely nothing to do with rock or hard rock. They mainly played today's top 40 hits. I'd rather go to a smaller bar where they play real music and have decent prices."

Maybe went at the wrong time of day, sat inside downstairs and just didn't feel like a great hardrock. Nachos came at same time as mains, not as starter. Music was on par with the hardrock experience but overall not as good as other locations I've been.

Compared to other Hard Rocks, I found the store, decor, and food to be weaker. The waiter was very friendly.

The food is great, but unfortunately the vegan selection is far too limited. While it's incredibly delicious, more variety is needed. The ambiance and exhibits are very impressive, and you're always discovering something new.

The Hard Rock Café Berlin, centrally located on Kurfürstendamm, immediately invites you to linger with its inviting ambiance – whether for a cool drink or a delicious meal. The spacious outdoor area offers plenty of space to relax, while the interior, with its two spacious floors, is impressive. The food was consistently delicious! Particularly pleasing: Vegetarian guests also get their money's worth; the vegetarian burger was absolutely convincing. To top it all off, there was a heavenly New York cheesecake. A very special thank you goes to our waiter, Felix, whose friendly manner and attentiveness made the visit truly special. I would love to come back!

The most average Hard Rock Cafe I’ve ever vet been to. It felt like sitting in the shop! We went to Budapest days before and that one was far better.

Worst waiter I've ever experienced. I waited a good two hours for the food... insane.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. After waiting 10 minutes, we were assigned a seat. We ordered drinks and waited a long time, just like for our food. The drinks were good. We had Coke, apple spritzer, and a non-alcoholic cocktail. We ordered our food (2 steaks and a bowl). After a long wait, the food arrived. It looked very tasty, but I think it lacked a sauce for the vegetables. We ate and unfortunately discovered that there was a lot of fat, which they had to throw away. After our meal, we ordered the bill. Two different waiters came by. The first took the plates without saying a word, and the second, seeing how much fat had to be trimmed from my steak, asked if he could do us any favors, to which we said no. A few minutes later, he came back with the bill, which showed a 20 percent discount. We thanked him and left. Conclusion: I am very grateful to the Hard Rock Cafe for the 20 percent discount, but I still don't think they should expect us to get such a steak. Therefore, unfortunately, I have no recommendation

We had reserved a table on the balcony. This is highly recommended, as it also offers a great view of Kurfürstendamm. My visit happened to coincide with the Adidas Runners City Night Berlin.

The quality you've come to expect from Hard Rock Café all over the world

It was OK. We had to try several times to reserve a table online, which was so annoying 😒, but eventually we finally got it. It's also a shame that hardly any of the staff speak German. But the staff were very friendly.

It’s a smaller hard rock and has some cool stuff but is missing some of the hard rock atmosphere. It’s also super hot inside during the summer

Unfortunately, quite a disappointing experience. Service was slow… it took a long time just to place our order, and even longer to get the food. The kitchen seemed overwhelmed, and the meals were average at best. For a place with such a legendary name, expectations were definitely higher. I’ve been to other Hard Rock Cafes, including the one in Moscow, and the difference in quality and atmosphere is hard to ignore. Sadly, Berlin’s location didn’t live up to the brand’s reputation this time.

Disappointed with the Hard Rock Cafe for the first time. We went there twice. On the second visit, I was really looking forward to the New York steak. 20 minutes after I ordered it, the waiter came and said it was suddenly no longer available. Even though it wasn't busy that evening and we weren't late, we had to wait a long time for all the meals we had ordered to arrive. As a consolation, we were given a 15% voucher for the shop, which was pointless to us. But we had already experienced that the first time. The Hard Rock Cafe ruined my evening.

Do not order the margarita. It’s not served with low bowl, no salt crown, shame. Fix it initially, or we will not come

Decent if not outstanding food but what you would expect from a Hard Rock

The atmosphere seemed more ordinary to me compared to other hard rock cafes I've seen in other countries. If it weren't for the clothes and guitars of a few famous people hanging there, I'd call it a normal hamburger place. I had fajitas this time, they weren't bad but the meat was undercooked and not julienned as it should be.

Excellent, I can only recommend it. The same goes for the beautiful souvenirs.

Hello, The Hard Rock Cafe in Berlin is a trendy cafe/bar/restaurant. Unfortunately, this establishment lacks that rock and roll vibe, which is much better in other places like Lisbon. The prices are very expensive, typical of Hard Rock Cafes. The waiters switch between German and English very frequently; it wasn't a problem for us, but it was very strange. If you like my review, please leave a "like" or "like."
