Tony Roma's in Berlin

This was the first place we visited in Berlin. We didn't have to wait, we came when it opened. We were bribed by the reviews from the Internet. This is definitely a place for rib lovers. Since I don't eat sugar, it wasn't very tasty. There was a sea of ​​sugar in the sauces, in the ribs, even in the cabbage that came with the side dish. It was super unusual. We chose dishes from the lunch menu, since the prices on the main menu had skyrocketed. I think the opinion/rating of this place is a bit overstated.

Delicious food, very friendly service. We'll be back again and again.

We've already eaten here twice. There is nothing to say about the food because it is divine. But after our last visit, we don't stop there anymore. It was midday on a Monday. The restaurant and terrace were empty except for one guest outside. We were traveling with a stroller and since the weather was nice, we asked if we could sit outside and the waiter told us there wasn't enough space and we should leave the stroller inside. But the baby can't sit yet. Okay, so we were put inside in the farthest corner and didn't even really have access to the car. We then got up and left. Unfortunately that doesn't work at all.

We visited this restaurant as part of a birthday party. Unfortunately, our evening was significantly marred by a very unpleasant incident. The waitress accidentally dumped an entire tray of drinks - including red wine and apple juice - on our group. Not only our clothes but also the gifts we brought were heavily soiled. The waitress apologized, but no compensation or further accommodation was offered. To make matters worse, we were asked to leave promptly at 7 p.m., even though some of the time originally available was lost because the table and floor had to be cleaned first. We find it extremely rude that we were not given additional time or other redress despite these circumstances. We had imagined this event to be completely different and are very disappointed with how this incident was handled.

Food was below average, atmosphere was okay. However I was highly upset with the service. I guess they’re spoiled with high number of tourists and they don’t care about providing good service, because they know there are many customers out there. Waiters were grumpy and careless. Plus it’s so expensive for such service and food. Will never EVER go there again!

Were there on May 2nd, 2025 with a group of 8. We only had two and a half hours as there was a lot going on that evening. Which in itself isn't a thing. What's not okay is that we waited an hour for the food, while at least two tables where people came after us got their food far before us. The waiter not only became hectic towards us but also increasingly unfriendly. As soon as he had finished eating, he demanded that everyone come to the counter to pay. In a rude tone he pointed out the tipping option, which of course we largely ignored due to his unprofessional behavior. The food itself was great. Nevertheless, that was the last visit for now.

Very nice restaurant. We were there with the whole family, big and small, and everyone ordered a different dish and found something on the menu. The admirable thing was that all the dishes arrived on time and all tasted great. We were also served by David and I would really like to point out that he is a super attentive and great waiter! Simply outstanding! A place where you get great food and service for the price you pay!

Very great restaurant. The dishes are well prepared and presented. The menu is a bit confusing when it comes to allergens. Additives are labeled and there is a separate card for allergens. But you can also find gluten-free food.

We were there often and satisfied. Today was a nightmare because the service employee had to rethink his career choice. 1st round of drinks 30 min. waiting time. Eating over 1 hour waiting time during this other guests who came after us ate and paid. No apology no compensation. On the contrary... another unfriendly waiter who reacted pissed off that he received little tip for his complete unfriendliness and incompetence and even demanded a tip. Too bad. I hope someone takes the criticism and points out a turnover of more than 500 euros in 2 hours and points this unfriendly male service person in the right direction. Absolute no-go. Probably won't come back.

If you want a GOOD meal, go there!!! This time the reception was a bit cold...perhaps the young lady and her colleague were having a bad day. You could still have squeezed out a small smile. Our world's best waiter David was there for us and quickly made us forget about the reception. He does his job just great!!! THANK YOU David.....see you!!!!!

We have been regular customers at Tony Roma's in Berlin for a long time and always enjoy coming back - but this time it was really something special. We had dinner there on my birthday and were lucky enough to be served by Nadim. An absolutely great waiter: super friendly, attentive and just super personable. With his positive manner, he made the evening special for us and really sweetened my birthday. The food was great as always, but Nadim's service was the highlight. Thank you very much – we are already looking forward to the next time!

We had reserved a table and were kindly assigned. After ordering drinks, we then selected three appetizers for our table. Then the waitress urged us to order our main course, as reservations are only possible for two hours. We ordered ribs. These were very tasty, but the fries that came with them were greasy, soggy and cold. The waitress kept reminding us that the reservation was expiring and that if we wanted to order another drink or dessert we had to hurry up. The dessert (American cheesecake) was good. We spent over €60 per person. Unfortunately the service was inadequate and poor.

We got a good place without appointments. The service was friendly. Unfortunately there was a small communication problem, which is why an order came a little wrong. The portion of ribs is a bit too high for the price. All three tables we sat at were not aligned and wobbled extremely. We then straightened the feet independently. Great restaurant with delicious food, we had steaks with a baked potato and a rib. It was delicious, but my medium steak was too bloody for me. The portions were very large. The two of us went out to eat and paid 102 euros for the meal with three drinks. What was a bit of a shame was that we ended up having to wait over half an hour until someone came and we could pay. We had to speak to someone as we passed. You can park in a parking garage next to the Uber Arena. This is part of a shopping center.

We had a wonderful evening with my colleagues at the restaurant, and it was great that I could bring my dog along. The food was delicious and looked great too! Food was warm not hot. Felt the food was very quickly reheated poorly for the order. For these prices coleslaw should be made fresh and chopped using unprocessed vegetables, I’m sure any chef can handle that correctly. Also the chicken and batter were tasteless. The Caesar Salad lettuce tasted old. Very disappointed. I think little changes in the kitchen processes can better this place. Over all the staff were pleasant and happy and were very helpful. Nice atmosphere too, just a shame the food quality was a lot below par for the prices. Maybe their rent is too high?

Five of us had dinner there on a Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. after making a reservation through Opentable. We were greeted in a really friendly manner and taken straight to the reserved spot. Service was great, friendly, attentive and quick. The chicken lollipops, shrimp, ribs and the mixed platter are a dream. The next time I'm in Berlin again, I'll definitely pay this restaurant a visit. I can only recommend everyone to go there

I can only report on the burger and onion ring. Maybe my expectations were too high. But burgers and fries were very dry and greasy. The onion ring is clearly too big for one person, but it was ok.

We went to Tony's on the recommendation of a friend As a starter we had mozzarella sticks (frozen) and this large onion in beer batter. We were there with 6 people. The food came quickly and it was just perfect, the waiters were very friendly. However, there were 3 baguettes with 2 balls of butter🤣 There are only 2 stars less because an employee there (apparently the boss in civilian clothes) with a grim face spread such a bad mood, which only made us shake our heads. This exact boss (?) didn't say thank you or goodbye when he left the restaurant. We were also surprised that for a price of around €250 there was no obligatory digestive schnapps or espresso. Conclusion = The best ribs ever but the prices!!! The Tony Romas has a good location and new tourists keep coming to the store. Maybe you don't depend on regular customers and that's why you're so grumpy.

Das Restaurant liegt jetzt direkt vor der Mercedes Benz Arena - wenn man vor einem Konzert schön Essen gehen möchte, sollte man lange im Voraus reservieren... Von der Lokalität fand ich das alte Restaurant am Potsdamer Platz schöner - jetzt ist es doch schon sehr eng geworden... Preise sind nicht gerade billig - aber warum sollte man bei dem Andrang weniger nehmen? Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder - der Rippchen wegen 😋

The ambience in the American diner style fits well, but for our taste there is room for improvement. This is kept very simple. We're definitely not here for the last time. Maybe in the summer when we can sit outside.

Forbidden good - that's how you could describe the entire restaurant. The ambience is really awesome, stylish, lots of metal but still not cold. The food is simply a sin, right down to the dessert, although the bar is set very high with self-confident references to various awards even before it starts. Rightly so? I always thought that the spare ribs at Black Beard couldn't be topped. And I have to realize that they are not, because something that is perfect cannot be made better. But you can do it just as well, and that can definitely be said here. The ribs, which according to the company have won several awards, are really incredibly good and therefore fit perfectly into my "Hall Of Fame" of the ultimate barbecue ribs alongside the Black Beard. In addition, so-called chicken lollipops are also causing mischief here. These are small chicken legs that look more like mini minces, but have also been cooked slowly in smoke and are therefore at least as sinful to enjoy. My wife liked them even better than the ribs. I couldn't have decided. In any case, there was no taste of the usual “reasonable factor” of poultry over pork. No. Absolutely not! So if you want to consume less red meat for health reasons, you definitely won't compromise on lollipops, quite the opposite!! While the dessert selection isn't huge, it's just as top notch and nasty in terms of addictiveness and calories. My favorite was the Banana Cream Pie, consisting of - surprise - sliced ​​bananas, which was served on a banana cream and crumbled chocolate cookies. The banana cream is the evil thing about the dish. It also tastes like banana flavor, but to a degree that enhances the original flavor rather than flattening it. In terms of taste, but especially in terms of consistency and texture, the cream reminded me of the mascarpone cream from Gelato Eiscafe, just as addictive. As for the price of the dishes, well, it's not without its price. But you have to say clearly that every cent is justified! All that remains is the service. And it also delivers full marks. Not only was everyone consistently friendly, I have also rarely experienced such attentive service. My daughter had barely finished her orange juice and was just about to tell me that she would like some more when the service asked us whether we could have another juice. And that wasn't a coincidence, because it happened twice. A visit to the toilets didn't produce any criticism either. Everything was clean and valuable. The latest models of multifunctional mixer taps from Dyson are used here, which can also blow dry your hands at the same time. Conclusion: Absolute and unreserved recommendation, 5 points superior, so to speak!

Speaking as a person who hasn't been to the states, I can't provide a strong comment on the authenticity of its American 'restaurantness' but I can say that it had great food! It was aesthetically pleasing and the portion sizes were hearty. I liked the options of the various sauces to have with your food as well as it's presentation. By far the best coleslaw I've ever had!

I reserved a table a few days before, and seen a lot of people getting turned around as it was fully booked. THE STAFF IS TOP NOTCH. The service was just great. Pair that with The Ultimate Family Feast and you get a great night out ;) Really, we can’t thank you enough for this amazing evening.

Es ist immer wieder sehr nett dort. Die Rippen sind perfekt. Nur leider werden sie viel zu schnell serviert. Wir hatten gerade mal das Vorspeisen-Brot angebrochen - das würde ich gerne gemütlich und in Ruhe essen. Die blitzschnell gebrachten Rippen waren dann leider höchstens lauwarm, die Pommes heiß und knusprig. Ok, ich muss da nicht 3 Stunden sitzen, aber gemütlich wäre schon schön.
