I was able to reserve a table relatively spontaneously, late in the evening. We didn't arrive until around 9 p.m. Nevertheless, we received excellent service and delicious food. We were very satisfied.

(Friday, May 16) Blackbeard's BBQ Factory in Berlin-Marzahn offers an authentic barbecue experience in a rustic setting. The meat, especially the spare ribs, is tender and juicy, and the side dishes like coleslaw and farmer's fries complete the flavor experience. The service is friendly and attentive. One dark-haired employee in particular stood out for his professional and courteous manner, without being intrusive. He helped us feel completely at home. The restaurant is comfortably furnished. Reservations are recommended, as it gets busy, especially on weekends. Overall, a successful evening with delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. We would be happy to come back!

I went to Blackbeard's BBQ on May 18th – and it was worth it! The place was really busy, which is always a good sign. Sure, that meant a bit of a wait, but that was completely understandable and handled well by the team. The beef brisket was perfect – super tender, juicy, and full of flavor! Despite the crowd, the service was attentive, friendly, and well-organized. You could tell these are professionals who keep things on track even under pressure. All in all, a great visit – I'll definitely be back, preferably with an even bigger appetite!

We went there on a recommendation, the lady we were greeted by was nice and when we ordered it started straight away, not good day, did you want to order food before we could even order drinks, then pastrami was out of existence. Thank goodness because the bread was old too?? The food didn't arrive, no cutlery, enjoy your meal, we eat with our hands 😡 my food was totally cold, the canned baked beans with a bit of ketchup, well, the bread is old and the mashed potatoes are grey and cold, the meat is also cold, the food I gave back came cold again, I ate it because I was hungry and didn't want to argue with the impossible young blond waiter about whether the meat should be eaten hot or cold, when we were clearing away he started arguing again and wanted to explain to me, the cook himself, how to heat meat up, he argued and argued, I ended it so as not to argue any further with such a cheeky young unskilled person. If you have no idea you shouldn't argue with the guest, an unsatisfied guest won't come back and won't recommend it to others. It's a shame, the meat tastes good but everything else could be improved. Someone should give the staff some training on how to deal with criticism and guests. Something can always happen, but then an apology would be appropriate rather than going home dissatisfied. It's a shame, it's a nice place. We won't be back.

I got a seat at 5 p.m. without a reservation, ordered immediately, and drinks and food arrived promptly. I was disappointed with the beef brisket: a tiny portion of meat (what's 200 grams?), the meat was cold, quite firm, and a bit dry, with a tiny bit of dip. I should have ordered an extra dip for my generous portion of potato wedges. Did I miss that on the menu? My comment to the staff (cold meat) was answered with "Yes, but it's freshly made..." A follow-up question about the dip: "Yes, but..." The half-full beer was cleared away without comment after I paid. Who leaves a beer? If it's sour and flat, then yes (was it the first draft beer of the day?). I didn't want to overwhelm the staff a third time by pointing that out. "Beef brisket, .... melts in your mouth..." is what Instagram promises, sorry, I wasn't so lucky. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend it.

Yes, I can eat very well, but not so much the service as we had to wait over an hour for our food yesterday 16.5.

We were there yesterday (June 17, 2025) and unfortunately it was very disappointing. The food tasted okay, the BBQ marinade was good, BUT everything was completely dry. We had garlic bread as a starter and then the mixed platter for two people. The chicken was completely dry, the ribs too, and they somehow managed to make even the pulled pork dry. The garlic bread had no garlic, but instead had sweet onions and chives, and it was also very dry, almost like rusks – it must have been under the pass for a bit too long. Now I'd like to talk about the service, well, there was no service. Apart from taking our order and bringing the food, no one was with us once. We were there for 1.5 hours, 1 hour of which we waited for the food, and I spent the last hour without a drink. All in all, very disappointing. What a shame.

The food is tasty, but there's very little of it, it's unimaginative, and it comes without anything to accompany it—potato wedges without a dip. It's expensive, though. We waited a long time for drinks and food (side dishes), even though the restaurant was empty. Sitting outside is pleasant.

An absolutely brilliantly designed shop. The food was fantastic, and the service, with the exception of one person, was absolutely friendly and excellent. I was truly amazed and would gladly return. A definite recommendation!

We were there for the first time yesterday. Very nice, quiet, cozy atmosphere. The food was super tasty. The spare ribs are buttery soft. Upon request there was a dessert which rounded off the perfect meal.

Unfortunately, the taste today is only average. The beef ribs were out and the substitutes were only of average quality. Staropramen is also off the drinks menu. The service was very inefficient and we had to wait a long time, even though there were enough staff on site. It's a shame, it was better.

An all around fantastic experience at BlackBeards BBQ! As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel that there is a lot of attention to detail here - the ambience is rustic, cozy and modern at the same time. You immediately feel comfortable. The service was absolutely excellent – ​​super friendly, attentive and helpful. When we had questions about the menu, everything was patiently explained to us, including recommendations that hit the mark. The food? Simply outstanding! My personal highlight was the pastrami sandwich – tender, perfectly seasoned meat, juicy on the inside. Plus the homemade chipotle mayo with the farmer fries: amazing! This was honestly the best mayo I've ever eaten - nice and creamy, spicy, with just the right amount of spiciness. The brisket was also a dream – tender as butter, simply cooked to perfection. You can taste that there is real BBQ love here. All in all, a real experience for anyone who loves good BBQ. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We came to the factory which is a great location but very far from downtown Berlin and: IPA is not available. Brisket is not available. Pastrami is not available. Honestly not good for a business mainly based on these signature smoked dishes. To eat pulled pork and sausages you can go anywhere in Berlin. And..if you complain the staff tells you 'there is a disclaimer on the menu' so its your own risk So dear customers: make sure to call and ask what is really available before coming all the way here .

We got a table at short notice and within an hour we were through with everything. Super delicious food! Great service and wonderful atmosphere. Would go again and again.

So we went there for dinner on Saturday with a group. We had booked in advance. My food was good and hot, the rest of the group wasn't so lucky. The staff were overwhelmed, even though there were three waiters and someone at the bar. Unfortunately, drinks took a long time and the food even longer. We waited 1.5 hours for the food, some of which came cold. It used to be a good restaurant with a great atmosphere. The atmosphere remains good. Unfortunately, the rest is no longer there. I wish the restaurant manager continued success and hope that he gets his place under control quickly.

We were there yesterday with a larger group. The service staff was completely overwhelmed. After about 30 minutes we had our drinks, after asking twice we were finally able to order food after 45 minutes. In total, we were only able to order drinks twice in the two and a half hours we were there, and more often there was no waiter available. After asking several times, 3 small starters arrived about 45 minutes after ordering and another 45 minutes later, after asking again several times, the main courses arrived. The food delivered was very mixed, the ribs were ok. The sausages were unfortunately below par in relation to the price and quantity. The baked beans were canned without any love. The burgers were partly cold, but tasted ok. Several portions were complained about because they were cold. Sometimes they were simply reheated, which is a gastronomic no-go. Fries that are cold and reheated just become dry and warm. A meal was completely forgotten, a meal was eaten incorrectly. Overall, very careful and nothing culinary that you can't do yourself. The ambience was OK. even if many details (e.g. Santa Claus in March) may no longer be appropriate. When we asked for a discount because of the extreme waiting time and the quality of the food, this was unfortunately denied. Alternatively, we would have simply had a dessert (we wanted to order anyway, but we didn't want to wait another hour). In short, the sizzle booth is not recommended.

Sorry. Over 2 hours in the restaurant. After 20 minutes drinks were ordered, after 1 hour the food order was finally taken and delivered after a total of 2 1/2 hours. That doesn't work at all

Unfortunately it was completely dry and the taste was not what I had imagined. The spare ribs were okay but not a highlight either. Ultimately I was disappointed and probably won't eat there again.

The food (mixed plate of two + garlic bread) was good. I liked the chicken wings best (very tender and lots of meat) and the homemade farmer fries. Prices are not exactly cheap. Service friendly. Furnishings are very nice, although a little too gloomy overall. It's quite difficult to reach without a car, and there are basically just a few workshops around and a hotel opposite. This offers a lot of parking spaces, but these are actually only intended for hotel guests.

Food was delicious! We had the bbq mix (for 2 to share) plus a mac&cheese. Perfect amount of food for us. 😊👌 I would like to see some local beers on the menu, since there are two craft breweries close to the place. 🍺 Warning tho - you can only pay with cash (unless you have a giro card aka "EC-Karte, that hardly exists nowadays)!

With four people on site €50 each. Meat too dry for all orders. Sandwich was more toast with mozzarella sticks than gourmet cuisine. The sweet potato fries were great.

We were there spontaneously today. Had reserved by phone 3 hours in advance. Capacity was 3/4 full on a Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. The service guys were super friendly. Unfortunately it was very cold in the otherwise stylish atmosphere, so some of us initially left our jackets on. It's a shame that there is no special menu for the kids and there is no designated dessert menu. Upon request, there was vanilla ice cream. The food was tasty, but it wasn't anything extraordinary. I've had my ribs more tender before. However, regionality scores points. 4 out of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ can be done! 👍

After an exciting drive into nowhere in the snow, we suddenly found ourselves there... quite an unreal place for Berlin. Inside it was very nice and rustic, you could almost still see the old stock exchange (even though it was so dark that I had trouble seeing the food). We ordered two mixed plates for the four of us, covering half the menu. In terms of taste and appearance, the ribs, chicken wings and side dishes were more reminiscent of bowling alley food. However, the pulled pork and dessert were great. But the bill made the bowling alley dream shattered... that was it for mom's Christmas money...

Seats too tight or tables too narrow. Ambience great and cozy. Food was ok.

Little insider tip. It was our first time eating here and it was very tasty. Unfortunately it is very hidden in a kind of commercial area. It's rare to come by there purely by chance.

I would like to give 6 stars for everything!!!! I became aware of this location through a tip from friends and I have to say that we were not disappointed. We were there with 8 people and they were also very enthusiastic about it. My recommendation is to reserve a table for large groups and my recommendation is to look at the menu in advance so that when ordering or reserving, you can specify what you would like to eat (so as not to be disappointed, for example pastramie). is) . We made reservations on Friday evening. Most people had already eaten, but we waited 45 minutes for our food (there were two of us). The service was nice, but they didn't have a good overview and an eye for newcomers. Spare ribs 500g were lukewarm and not juicy, the BBQ sauce was good. With the mac'n'cheese, the noodles were very soft and tasted floury. Garlic bread was perfect but was forgotten when ordering and came after we asked. Drinks were ok, but not particularly outstanding. Price too expensive for the quality of the food.

Important to note that only Giro cards and cash are accepted here. In 2024!! This was upsetting as we found out after we finished our meal and wanted to pay. I had to travel 1km to withdraw cash at the ATM. Hence, the 3 stars. Aside from that, the food was well-presented and tasted good, with the cocktails being particularly nice.

The ambience was good, even if the lighting in the store itself was a bit dim. My table wasn't straight, so the plate kept almost slipping off the table. The food came after 1 1/2 hours, for some only after 2 hours. The food was, to put it politely, below average. The burger was cold and anything but medium rare, as ordered. The fries were inedible! I lacked taste in everything! The only really great thing about the shop for me was the staff, the one waitress in particular was really very nice and accommodating. For you alone I would have given 6 stars for the service, the gentlemen seemed slightly overwhelmed! It's a shame, maybe I had too high expectations or maybe I didn't have such a good evening.

Generous portions, very great food, very nice service. Fantastic BBQ sauce. Music choice was questionable and the giant banister with the logo hanging on the wall is a strange decorating choice that removes some of the otherwise nice industrial qualities of the space. Nice cocktails, but could have had more beer options. Located in a very strange place (I doubt its possible to stumble over this place without prior planning), but definitely worth the trip!

I went there with a good friend after a recommendation from a work colleague who raved about this shop. The ambience, very nice. It feels comfortably warm and the interior is well put together. The staff was more than friendly and not intrusive. The corn dogs, a dream. Delicious cheese sausages in a corn dough coating. I then ate the chipotle burger with jalapenos. The meat is very juicy and delicious all around. The fries that we specially ordered were very good. Not the best I've eaten so far, but they were tasty. Important: They were NOT oversalted. Definitely price/performance ratio. We paid €59 for 4 drinks, 2 burgers, 2x corn dogs and 1 small bowl of fries. Which is absolutely fine. The parking situation is so-so. Directly opposite, they have a large parking lot, but unfortunately only for hotel guests. If you dare, you can stand there, but you have to remember that it can be towed away.

The food is good, is nicely prepared and initially seems sufficient. You can't always meet every taste right away, but there are tools to help you do that. Then a bit strange that as a BBG FACTORY there is only a small fly fart BBQ sauce on the plate and you have to ask for a 2nd or 3rd one. We reordered twice and found that even though the restaurant was empty, it took up to 20 minutes to prepare individual dishes. Unfortunately, 2-3 things on the menu are significantly overpriced. What is really annoying and unfortunately cannot be excused in this day and age is the fact that you can only pay with the old-fashioned EC Maestro card from the 90s. When asked, a small A5 sized sign was shown on which it was written like this but no one noticed it. If asked, the contract or switching from an EC card to an ALL card contract is too expensive. Anyone who has an idea or is an expert here knows that this is nonsense and nonsense. I haven't had a debit card for years and only have the three most common credit cards, but that's okay. We ate well but that was it. Service top and no complaints, so as far as the gentleman at the tables in front of the bar is concerned, the lady behind the bar was a little unmotivated. The location itself is cool and clean, it's quite impressive. Unfortunately I HAVE to deduct 3 stars for the card payment stuff, because unfortunately that's no longer an excuse these days. If you want to make money, you also have to give your customers the opportunity to spend it.

The food was great tastes like in the USA. When you walk in, you immediately feel like you're in a Texas BBQ joint.

I was very surprised to find such good food in the area.

We chose the pastrami sandwich and the spare ribs (pork) . The pastrami was seasoned well and tasted amazing. It was quite tasty for almost 20 Euros but we were happy that a lot of the meat was put inside the sandwich. The sandwich itself was also really good, crispy and fit well to the meat. The spare ribs however were a bit dry on the inside and tasted okay. The waiters were super kind, polite and also attentive, asking us whether everything was alright and whether we needed anything.

Food was very tasty. The corn on the cob wasn't that tasty. Large portions. Nice atmosphere and very quiet location.

Went there for dinner last Friday. Food excellent!!! Staff very friendly and helpful. Any time. Two small notes for the operator. It was difficult to read the menu in the restaurant because the lighting at the table was rather dim. And maybe you should think about wet wipes if the customer orders finger food.

Location is hidden and not exactly in the coolest area, but the food and service make it worth stopping by. Both the sandwich and the burger were delicious. Also very rich with the fries. I preferred not having room for the mega brownie dessert. They also have good beer and the prices are fair. We'll definitely be back.

Very large restaurant with large parking lot, tastefully decorated. There were four of us here and we got a place without any problem. The service was friendly and the food was delicious, although the beef ribs were unfortunately very dry. Unfortunately, the cocktail and dessert selection leaves something to be desired. Overall a good BBQ restaurant for an evening with friends.

Great shed. Food is a 10 out of 10. And there is free parking. Payment can be made in cash or with debit card. Unfortunately you can't use a credit card here.

Very friendly service, very tasty food. We had the burger, pulled pork sandwich and the side salad. Very good portions. The salad is enough as a starter for two people. As a starter we had the garlic bread. We recommend. The iced tea with lemon is homemade and tastes very fresh.

Our group enjoyed the food and loved the atmosphere, the whole location smelled amazingly good like wood and only slightly like bbq.

We had dinner last Saturday. So we were satisfied. Food and drinks were great. Disappointing in the end as we wanted to pay our bill with a voucher! Unfortunately, since we had an invoice of around €107 and our voucher worth €180, payment was not possible. The staff was not allowed to make a written change in the voucher with the rest. Super annoying because we weren't informed about this beforehand when we received it.😤 Therefore the tip to everyone: When redeeming the voucher, the bill should be higher!

US food in a rustic atmosphere The approach to the commercial area is bumpy and over bad cobblestones, parking spaces are shared with the hotel opposite. Enough space for a football team on Saturday evening. Very nice, attentive service. Food really tasty. Portion manageable. A large portion of ribs didn't even fill up the wife. All side dishes extra. So you can hardly get away with less than 30 euros for food. The pastrami sandwich for just under 20 euros was delicious but only with 3 forks of coleslaw and pickles. If we shared potato wedges, that was enough. Since there is no through traffic, it is quite quiet even if there is no view. It won't be our regular restaurant, but you can do it.

There were two of us on a Friday evening. Reservation went very well, service was friendly. We sat very closely, private conversations are rather difficult. The food is good, although very meat-heavy with little side option, but that's probably the goal. You should avoid heels, the atmosphere is rustic. With a full house I imagine the toilet situation (I only saw 1 for ladies) would be difficult, but it was very clean. I might want to go again in the summer in the hope of seeing the smoker in action :-)

The beef ribs are so delicious that I give 5 stars for that directly! It was very soft and tasty, and the bbq sauce was perfectly matching it. I also ordered two Mac’n cheese portions, but only one was enough for two people. It came very warm, but was too dry and although it was good, I wouldn’t order it again as it’s not as tasty as other mac’n cheese I’ve eaten in other places (maybe because it was too dry?... not sure). I’ve also ordered their burgers and I liked them pretty much. The cheesesteak sandwich is amazing and the meat is really juicy and soft!
