Just what I imagined American-style BBQ to be. Incredibly juicy brisket, super-tender beef ribs, and the Caesar salad had a generous amount of chicken and Parmesan cheese.

We honestly expected more, especially considering the reviews. Even parking the vehicle is a challenge... if you've found a halfway decent parking space. The wait was unreasonably long. The restaurant was well-filled, but not fully booked. After ordering, we had to wait about 45 minutes for our food. Why, when the wait times are obviously longer, they can't serve a small bread basket with two sauces that cost the restaurant owner maybe one or two euros but initially satisfy the customer, is beyond me. The food was overall okay, although, for example, the ribs, which were mentioned positively in the reviews, weren't exactly tender, but simply grilled far too dry. The pulled pork was good. Overall, unfortunately, it was rather disappointing. We probably won't be coming back here anytime soon.

Six of us colleagues arrived one after the other. We had made reservations for six people. Initially, everyone who arrived was asked for their food order. Once everyone was there, interest quickly waned, and it took quite a while before we could place our orders. My corn dogs arrived first – they were delicious, with a very flavorful sauce, but piping hot. Be careful! After that, there was a longer pause, but at least everything was served at the same time. I was surprised that it took so long, since nothing had to be cooked fresh and the place wasn't very busy yet. Everything actually looks pretty good in the photos, but upon closer inspection... well, it was served on aluminum trays lined with baking paper, which soon became soggy, so if you were lucky, you could still eat the mush paper. My beef brisket (100 g) and baked beans – it felt like only two tablespoons were probably straight from the can. For €15... The coleslaw didn't look particularly homemade either. The brisket itself tasted okay, though not particularly juicy or warm. Compared to other rib restaurants, the ribs were quite small, and the glaze wasn't reapplied. They looked dry, but were still okay. The beef ribs had a fresh coat of glaze on them! They came with what felt like only a tablespoon of cheap barbecue sauce. On the other hand, the sweet potato fries were excellent and super crispy! Overall, the "presentation" seemed rather lacking in love. The sausages tasted great, but (as you can see from the photos) they were so dry and crumbly that they were impossible to cut! After the meal, it was difficult to get any servers—who, by the way, were all very friendly—to our table. After two more rounds of drinks were brought and we sat with our empty aluminum trays for about 40 minutes, we had to ask the servers to clear the table. Afterwards, a few more shots were ordered, of which there was almost always one too few, but they were promptly replaced. Conclusion: For the same price, I've had much better food and better service. And I ate from porcelain... Let me emphasize again: The waiters were friendly, but unfocused. The light beer tastes delicious!

Mega location... the food is great, prices are absolutely reasonable, and the staff is extremely attentive without being intrusive and remarkably friendly. Just like the service you'd expect from years gone by. This won't be the last time we eat there.

The food was incredibly delicious, from the brisket to the delicious pastrami. The meat was super tender, and the pastrami came with a mustard sauce that had a peppery note that I personally didn't like. The chipotle mayo definitely made up for that. The portions weren't too big, but you often have a choice between a large and a small one. So if you're hungrier, order a larger one. The service was very friendly and always quick, even though we were there during pre-show time and it got very busy in no time. We sat outside, but unfortunately, the wasps weren't leaving us alone. We managed to coexist well, though. All in all, we would come back; it was a lovely visit.

All in all, it's worth a visit, but don't go there if you're very hungry unless you have a well-filled wallet. The dishes are limited to the essentials: smoked meat. If you want side dishes, you'll have to order them separately. The sauce for the pulled pork was a bit too sweet and didn't really go with it. There's no point in smoking the meat if you're just going to cover up the smoky flavor with a sauce. With every sauce, they try to appeal to all taste buds, but that doesn't really suit the food. Plain and simple would be a better choice here. The service was okay.

Reservations are definitely recommended, as seats fill up quickly. The service was excellent—fast, attentive, and friendly. The ambiance is somewhat industrial-style, which feels quite cool. The portions are rather small, and I'd give the food a solid 7 on a scale of 1–10. The only real downside: The parking situation is unfortunately abysmal—if you're coming by car, you'll want to allow time to search for it.

Blackbeard's BBQ offers a beautiful, rustic look in an old converted fire station. The food is simply delicious. For the real foodies, here's a little tip: get the BBQ platter for 2. I highly recommend it. In addition to the tender ribs, you get pulled pork, coleslaw, fries, and more. The homemade BBQ sauce rounds out the flavor. For this reason, I consider this place an insider tip in Berlin. It's a bit out of the way but easy to find. The only negative point I could mention is that the selection of dishes on the menu is rather limited. It's based on the motto "quality over quantity." For me, this isn't a problem, as I don't see it as a negative. However, there are people who would like a little more. Otherwise, there's nothing to complain about. Good value for money. And it's definitely worth a detour. Just see for yourself ;)

I discovered the restaurant on Instareels and was eager to try it out. And what can I say...WOW! The rustic ambiance fits perfectly. The meat was a 10/10...buttery soft and incredibly delicious. The servers are very friendly, and you don't have to wait long for service. The price is absolutely reasonable. Yes, quality has its price, but the price here is very reasonable.

Following a recommendation, we eagerly visited Blackbeards at the old stock exchange and were rather disappointed. The ambiance is very rustic and pleasant, but also reveals many very dirty corners when the sun shines through the windows. The service is very inattentive and seems uninterested in sales (ordering food, ordering drinks, paying... nothing in between). The food is very rustic, and sufficient napkins, wet wipes, or gloves would have been welcome. The food was overall okay, although not outstanding for the price and the portions were small. Furthermore, everything was presented very carelessly. Metal trays with a strip of baking paper? There were no desserts on the menu, which surprised us. Unfortunately, the cocktail selection wasn't very extensive. And paying €12.50 for a mini cup, half of which is ice, is very unreasonable. There's hardly any desire for another drink while you linger (not that you'd have had the opportunity to order one). Parking situation is poor. In conclusion: We'll probably remain the only ones!!!

Once you've found it, thanks to Google Maps, the interior is beautifully done. Sitting outside feels a bit like sitting on a building site, but also quite nice. Blackbeards is an institution in Berlin. Mega wings, superb spare ribs, the most amazing beef ribs. And of course, that's the way it is here too. Delicious drinks to go with it. That's the way to live. If it weren't for the service. Veeeeery slow and more like standing at the bar, chatting, than with the customer. Everything takes a little longer here. We'll still be back because the food is great, we just need to plan waaaaaaar more time. Thanks to the team anyway. I do have one negative comment, though: why in this day and age do they only accept debit cards or cash? My bank doesn't even issue debit cards anymore. If our friends hadn't been there, I would have had to do the dishes. A clear minus here. A credit card is absolutely essential at this price range, in my opinion.

The service is nice and friendly, but lacks physical tension and charisma (the majority, not just one of the young waiters). Friendly, though. The food is solid, but not groundbreaking, especially compared to other dinners in the city. The garlic bread appetizer had a fairly bland flavor, with little garlic, but small onions that weren't listed on the menu and weren't actually included. Personally, I don't think garlic bread belongs on it. The bread itself was OK, it seemed like flat pita bread, but it was warm and "crispy." The platter for two is reasonably priced. The ribs were rather firm and could have been much more tender; there's definitely room for improvement. The wings were okay, average, fries were okay, and the coleslaw and BBQ sauce were top-notch. All in all, a one-time visit. 3/5 possible points.

I was invited to a private event at this restaurant, and EVERYTHING was top notch. From the drinks to the absolutely amazing food, served by very attentive staff, it was more than perfect. Settling into Blackbeard's BBQ Factory feels like finally arriving at the nearest inhabited village after days of riding your trusty steed through stubborn thickets and plague-ridden lands and finding shelter in the local tavern. The bard plays while the maids dance with bare ankles, the boys fight over a few coins, and you wait for your food. When you order the pulled pork sandwich, you are greeted with a rustic yet delicate explosion of flavors and textures that sends you on an inner journey. Your teeth fight their way through the crisp bread until they glide through soft meat, occasionally encountering little pearls of nature like the coleslaw. The moment your tongue reaches the juicy meat, you've mentally reached the end of your journey: Alone on a natural boardwalk that leads to the middle of a lake, from where you can see leaping fish, hunting birds, and blooming flowerbeds. The ribs could have been a bit more saucier, but the sandwich made up for it.

Beautiful, charming location. The restaurant was a bit too dark for me. The service was fast and friendly. The food, unfortunately, was only average. The ribs we ordered (one small and one large) differed only minimally in size, if at all. The ribs were unfortunately very dry and hard. The mashed potatoes (a side dish) were unfortunately very bland, and the gravy was thin and lacking in flavor. The mac and cheese was completely unseasoned (not an ounce of salt), and the bland cheese didn't even make up for it. All in all, a restaurant with room for improvement.

Friday, June 20, 2025, 6:30 p.m. Table reserved in advance. You have to call the staff to your table, otherwise no one will come! Even if the next table was served first! We had to watch this for 3.5 hours. Our food didn't arrive until just over an hour after the "greeting from the kitchen." The long wait is probably standard. The spare ribs were quite good. Unfortunately, they don't provide gloves. The few tables outside were a lucky break; two very friendly ladies sat down at our table. A very pleasant group. (Window crank) The staff's attentiveness needs to improve a lot! We probably would have ordered three more drinks! That's your revenue!! The food needs to be served much faster! And hell, there are two breweries within walking distance -> add them to the menu!! Feedback appreciated!!

My expectations were high, but I was proven wrong. The mac and cheese was tasteless, the pulled pork was dry, but the corn dogs were amazing. You had to eat the ribs without gloves, which left your hands looking the part. Wet wipes weren't available; you were directed to the restroom to clean your hands. The atmosphere was very dark, unfriendly, and there was no parking. Overall, the experience was okay, but I won't be going back.

The food was truly delicious. We were lucky to get a small table for three people even without a reservation – I would still recommend booking in advance. I personally found the prices quite high, which made me a bit annoyed. What was particularly irritating was that the online menu was apparently outdated: The BBQ for two people was listed there as €38, but in the restaurant it now costs €54.

I can't understand the hype surrounding this BBQ restaurant. We had the platter for two people, and it was really small. The worst fries I've ever been served. It felt like they were heated in a microwave. Very limp, not a hint of crispiness at all. The spare ribs, I don't even know how to describe them. Normally they fall off the bone on their own, but ours had to be torn off or cut. I've never experienced anything like that before. The chicken wings were a bit crispy on the outside, but the collagen hadn't even begun to decompose. All in all, the worst BBQ food I've ever had. Only the coleslaw was good. We had the platter for two people for €54. We got up hungry. The staff was absolutely fantastic, though. The place is nice, except for the fact that there's nowhere to park. We spent almost 20 minutes looking for a place. We looked online beforehand, and the place is located on a former industrial site. It looked like there were plenty of parking options, but parking was prohibited everywhere.

There's private parking everywhere, and it costs €25. It's annoying. But the food was top-notch, especially the brisket. Super tender. The meat fell apart as soon as I cut it. A real treat!

The food was really delicious, and the service was interesting! Unfortunately, I can't really rate the ambiance, as it was full and I was sitting outside with my family. What was really annoying was that we waited almost two hours for our food, so I ordered a couple of corn dogs in the meantime to make it to the main course. I can't say much about the service: no one greeted us; the staff at the counter (especially one girl) were unpolite and unfriendly (as if we weren't wanted there). Only a young man with a beard tried to salvage the situation: he kept in touch, constantly apologized, and repeatedly tried to lighten the atmosphere. We weren't offered any "small compensation" for our patience, such as a free drink or small meal. Maybe it was just a "bad" day. Conclusion: anyone who really wants well-cooked brisket, American-style BBQ, and has enough time and patience, and who doesn't react to unfriendly service staff (except for one man with a beard ;) ), is welcome to stop by. P.S. I'll try to visit this place again another day to understand if it was really just a coincidence (bad day, whatever), or if the wait times are always this long and the service staff need better training/induction (or a different employee would help, too).

We waited 90 minutes for our food. When it finally arrived, one of our orders had been completely forgotten. We also had to wait 35 minutes to reorder drinks. It wouldn't have been a problem if the service had informed us and perhaps apologized. The pulled pork was cold and the ribs were too firm. Unfortunately, you couldn't taste any of the in-house smoker. We also ordered three plates of hot wings, but only one plate actually had them. The other wings were mild. The garlic bread and the pulled pork pralines were very tasty. I think there is a lot of potential here and we were probably unlucky. Unfortunately, for the price it was very disappointing.

What a disappointment! We had reserved a table, and it was supposed to be the highlight of Father's Day. Unfortunately, it backfired. We were initially seated in the "lounge" because our table wasn't free yet. No problem there. Unfortunately, no service personnel came to the lounge. After 20 minutes, and with tables free, we asked if we could sit downstairs. That was okay. If we hadn't asked, we'd probably still be sitting upstairs today. The drinks arrived after another 15 minutes, and we ordered our food immediately, as we'd already had plenty of time to study the menu. The food was then served after almost two hours of waiting. Not a word of apology for the delay or anything like that. During the entire wait, no server appeared. I've never experienced anything like that before. While we were waiting, I looked around a lot and noticed that all the guests were sitting at their tables, waiting. Hardly a table had anything edible. The food was good, but not outstanding. We had a platter for two people. The ribs were unfortunately very dry, but everything else was good. The prices were reasonable. Another good thing: you wash your hands after eating. The paper towel dispensers were empty! The service at this place was completely nonsensical. I wouldn't recommend this BBQ. A wait of almost two hours is unacceptable.

The location, the food, and the drinks are unique and incredibly good. I personally recommend the mixed plate; it's enough to feed two people. You have to plan on waiting an hour for the food. Unfortunately, our drinks were forgotten (40 minutes), for which the restaurant apologized. We made a reservation in advance but spontaneously sat outside. Since we arrived at 5 p.m. sharp during opening hours, it was fine. Parking is unfortunately very limited, but it's fine on weekends, as most of the shops in the industrial area are closed.

I went to Blackbeard's BBQ Factory with a few friends, and what can I say? It was just really, really good! The food was incredibly delicious – you can just taste the people in the kitchen who really know their craft. Everything was fresh, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. I had the pulled pork and my friends had the ribs – everything was amazing! Another thing to remember: The place was completely packed, every table was occupied, but the wait staff were super friendly, attentive, and always had a smile on their faces, even when they were busy. You can tell that the team here puts their heart and soul into their work, from the bar to the kitchen. The drinks were also on point – thanks to the bar staff, you're great! I honestly don't understand how some people can complain about the wait time. When every table is full and everyone orders at roughly the same time, it's understandable that it might take a while. But you get really good food on the table – and it's definitely worth it. So, if you love good BBQ and have a bit of patience, you'll definitely be rewarded here. I'll definitely be back – and bring more friends!

I was at Blackbeard's BBQ Factory today and I'm absolutely thrilled! As soon as you walk in, you can tell that the atmosphere and quality come together here. The atmosphere was super relaxed, even though the place was packed – every table was taken! The food? A dream! The ribs were tender as butter, and the meat had so much flavor that you just couldn't stop eating. My friends were also incredibly satisfied – the kitchen is simply amazing, and respect to the entire cooking team! I also have to particularly praise the service. Despite the large number of guests, the waitresses were friendly, quick, and always in a good mood. You could really tell they were passionate about their job. The bar was also excellent – really good drinks and nice people behind the counter! Sure, you had to wait a bit – but let's be honest: When the place is packed and everyone is ordering at the same time, that's normal. Anyone who doesn't understand that has probably never experienced how good cooking works. I'd rather wait a bit and get food that was truly made with love.

I got a seat at 5 p.m. without a reservation, ordered immediately, and drinks and food arrived promptly. I was disappointed with the beef brisket: a tiny portion of meat (what's 200 grams?), the meat was cold, quite firm, and a bit dry, with a tiny bit of dip. I should have ordered an extra dip for my generous portion of potato wedges. Did I miss that on the menu? My comment to the staff (cold meat) was answered with "Yes, but it's freshly made..." A follow-up question about the dip: "Yes, but..." The half-full beer was cleared away without comment after I paid. Who leaves a beer? If it's sour and flat, then yes (was it the first draft beer of the day?). I didn't want to overwhelm the staff a third time by pointing that out. "Beef brisket, .... melts in your mouth..." is what Instagram promises, sorry, I wasn't so lucky. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend it.

We went there on a recommendation, the lady we were greeted by was nice and when we ordered it started straight away, not good day, did you want to order food before we could even order drinks, then pastrami was out of existence. If you have no idea you shouldn't argue with the guest, an unsatisfied guest won't come back and won't recommend it to others. It's a shame, the meat tastes good but everything else could be improved. Someone should give the staff some training on how to deal with criticism and guests. Something can always happen, but then an apology would be appropriate rather than going home dissatisfied. It's a shame, it's a nice place. We won't be back.

We were there yesterday (June 17, 2025) and unfortunately it was very disappointing. The food tasted okay, the BBQ marinade was good, BUT everything was completely dry. We had garlic bread as a starter and then the mixed platter for two people. The chicken was completely dry, the ribs too, and they somehow managed to make even the pulled pork dry. The garlic bread had no garlic, but instead had sweet onions and chives, and it was also very dry, almost like rusks – it must have been under the pass for a bit too long. Now I'd like to talk about the service, well, there was no service. Apart from taking our order and bringing the food, no one was with us once. We were there for 1.5 hours, 1 hour of which we waited for the food, and I spent the last hour without a drink. All in all, very disappointing. What a shame.

An all around fantastic experience at BlackBeards BBQ! As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel that there is a lot of attention to detail here - the ambience is rustic, cozy and modern at the same time. You immediately feel comfortable. The service was absolutely excellent – super friendly, attentive and helpful. When we had questions about the menu, everything was patiently explained to us, including recommendations that hit the mark. The food? Simply outstanding! My personal highlight was the pastrami sandwich – tender, perfectly seasoned meat, juicy on the inside. Plus the homemade chipotle mayo with the farmer fries: amazing! This was honestly the best mayo I've ever eaten - nice and creamy, spicy, with just the right amount of spiciness. The brisket was also a dream – tender as butter, simply cooked to perfection. You can taste that there is real BBQ love here. All in all, a real experience for anyone who loves good BBQ. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

I met up with a good friend there yesterday to have spare ribs. And what can I say? It was truly delicious. Upon arrival, we received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our table. The service was very friendly and fulfilled our every wish! The food was simply insanely good. The meat fell off the bone so tender, simply delicious. There's nothing to complain about in terms of taste either. I ordered the St. Louis ribs in a "large" size. It was the right choice. The regular portion would probably have been too small. And for €3 more, you can definitely get the large portion. My good friend ordered the "baby bags" and was also very impressed. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend them. "The best ribs in town."
