We had a wonderful lunch. The service was extremely friendly. The menu offers good, ample portions of food of high quality! Thank you so much – we'll definitely be back!

Very good food, relatively expensive, however, side dishes are not exchanged upon request, and there are no non-alcoholic cocktails... And the goose leg with wild boar was unavailable, only the plain goose leg, but at least there was a €4 discount 👍

The best part first: There's absolutely nothing to criticize about the food, truly superb and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, I can't even begin to replicate the same level of service! Starting with the greeting, I was told to please call ahead if one fewer person than expected was coming, as they needed to plan accordingly for table seating (as I said, there was one fewer person!!). Furthermore, when I made the reservation by phone, I was asked if it was a birthday, which I confirmed. However, the table was set just like any other, and no further attention was paid to it. So why even ask if it was a birthday? Drinks were carelessly placed anywhere, and even a bottle of wine that we ordered (still sealed!) was simply put in the middle of the table with the glasses, accompanied by the comment, "Please help yourself." This is completely unacceptable!!! When choosing our food, one of us asked for a different side dish, which the server responded to with a very rude, "How boring!" The appetizers were served after 60 minutes (some of us hadn't ordered any), and we waited another 50 minutes for the main course! Guests at the next table, who arrived considerably later, received their food first. A brief apology only came when the last dish was served. Empty glasses were ignored, and empty plates weren't cleared for what felt like an eternity. At some point, we were completely ignored. The restaurant staff busily sorted cutlery and reset neighboring tables. Our empty glasses remained untouched. Finally, we paid and left the restaurant without a tip, very disappointed. I fully understand that there might be waiting times due to staff shortages or other reasons, but as a guest, I expect to be informed or at least offered a proper apology! In my opinion, the staff here urgently needs training! I've eaten at the Red Milan several times before, but I've never experienced anything like this. Nevertheless, thank you for the excellent food!

Hello, my daughter and her husband once invited me here, and I have fond memories of it. We sat inside the ship, but there's also a large dining room or, in the summer, a lovely terrace. The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly. Horsti can't remember what we had, but since I have such fond memories of the place, it must have been very good. And where else do you get the chance to eat on a ship in dry dock? A fantastic idea! 👍

The two of us were at the "Roter Milan." This Sunday, we were lucky to get a table, as the restaurant was unexpectedly not that busy. Otherwise, I would recommend making a reservation. The ambiance is cozy and inviting. You immediately feel at home. The service was extremely attentive and friendly throughout our visit. We received our meals quickly – kudos to the kitchen and the team! The dishes were not just good, but a real highlight: My dish: I had the pulled pork with a side salad and fries. The meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. It tasted excellent. My husband's dish: My husband chose the boiled beef with horseradish sauce and bread dumplings. The boiled beef was buttery soft, and the combination with the fresh, spicy horseradish sauce and the fresh horseradish grated on top was perfect. The portions are large, but you can also order smaller portions. One detail I particularly liked were the hand-designed menus. They are creative and underscore the loving care with which the restaurant is run. The "Roter Milan" is highly recommended. A great place for a relaxed evening with first-class cuisine and friendly service. We will definitely be back!

The food was good... service was amazing. Very helpful. But the menu—it's funny how it's all written in a jumble like a notepad—is a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy, but it's absolute garbage and unreadable. Forgive me, I expected more from a high-class, overpriced restaurant.

It's a higher-priced restaurant, and to pay—whether in cash or by card—you're asked to go to the counter. No go! Conclusion: Everyone should form their own opinion.

It's been a few months, but we have such fond memories of the restaurant that we recommend it to anyone from Kiel who comes to Halle. Very delicious cuisine with high-quality products, presented on the menu with originality and humor. Filling portions and attractive prices. Beautiful ambiance. Cleanliness is a top priority. And the staff are super friendly. There's really nothing to criticize. We look forward to our next visit to Halle.

The restaurant is very good both in terms of food and service. The dishes are generous and they can serve less filling dishes for children. This allows them to enjoy the good food. The atmosphere is pleasant and when the weather is nice, the terrace is great.

In the Red Milan you can eat very well in an extraordinary ambience. The dishes on offer are varied and freshly prepared. Accordingly, the menu is not as extensive as in the "standard" restaurants, but this also indicates quality. For children, traditional dishes are offered in small portions, such as schnitzel with fries. The boss is also extremely friendly and helpful. I would come by again at any time.

It was okay so far; the food was prepared with great attention to detail. However, the zander fillet was a touch too dry for my taste. The rest, however, was very tasty and varied. What bothered me was the very warm air on the ship. We sat in an adjoining room and water ran down all of our backs. You can imagine, eating warm food isn't exactly pleasant. The service staff were diligent in their work. Would we eat here again? Perhaps not in the height of summer, but at a later date.

The menu was confusing and the food was very expensive. Because the ladies were afraid it would rain, there were no cushions outside and the umbrellas weren't allowed to be opened.

At one party, I received the food we'd been waiting for for a very long time. I ordered pike-perch without any side dishes and was served a piece of pike-perch on a completely bare plate with the promise of another piece. I found that borderline ridiculous. But the piece I'd waited well over an hour for was frozen!

The Red Milan is simply amazing. It starts with a very nice waitress who does her job with her heart. It continues with a great meal, which was extremely delicious with love and plenty of decoration, and ends with a very nice interior in which you feel at home as soon as you walk in. We come more often now 😃😊

The portions are very large. The price is completely reasonable. The waitress is also very helpful in answering questions about the food. The location and view is great, and there are also plenty of parking options on site. But you definitely have to make a reservation otherwise it's almost impossible to eat there spontaneously. I can only recommend it.

We had dinner at the red Milan on Saturday after football. Our club won, that was a good start. The restaurant is very cozy, the service is attentive. At the end I rate the food and it was worth the trip. The best garlic soup I have eaten, and the main courses were simply delicious. That was a successful day. The only thing I would complain about is the menu, which is very confusing.

**Red Milan in Halle - A steakhouse experience in a class of its own** After a long stroll through the Christmas market in Halle, we were hungry and decided on the Roter Milan. What a great decision that was! Established steakhouse chains such as Abaccos, Maredo and Co. can warm up here. The quality of the meat here is not only first class, but simply unsurpassed. Tender and juicy, exactly how you want it. The staff? Extremely attentive and always trying to anticipate every wish. An all-round successful dining experience that we wholeheartedly rate with five stars. 🍽️✨ We'll definitely be back!
