Roter Milan in Halle (Saale)

Spontaneously got a table for two and we will definitely be back. Our waitress, Gitta, was great. Friendly and very thoughtful.

I was invited and drove past without knowing the location - there is a car dealership right in front of it! Once you're over - do another big lap! But then: everything was rustically furnished - wooden chairs and tables inside and outside - I liked it. Funny card design with a manageable range - completely sufficient and quite tasty. Prices are up to the landlord - what can you say - it's definitely an experience to stop by there. Service was quick and friendly - food was good - can be recommended.

Everything was perfect here, very good parking directly in front of the entrance. Restaurant in the style of a ship is something special. The food was very good and the selection of dishes was something different. Staff was very nice and accommodating. The only point of criticism was the menu, which was very difficult to read.

We actually come to eat regularly, mostly on Sundays, and are always satisfied, great service, great food, but today we went out to eat on a Thursday, out of turn, and had the feeling that something was wrong in the kitchen and several guests at the neighboring table were eating returned, I had the large shish kebab, which unfortunately was only completely cooked, dry shoe soles. Otherwise the steaks are always juicy and soft, I actually eat rare. Today was not satisfactory for the high price. Therefore a star deduction. Either there is a new chef or a trainee at the stove, but unfortunately this had nothing to do with the known quality today. We'll still be back, hopefully with the usual quality.

Since the owner didn't like my opinion about the service and threatened me with a defamation lawsuit, I hereby withdraw my original post. The food was very good, as was the ambience. Unfortunately the owner can't handle bad criticism. This criticism is true and I have also published it here on behalf of 10 other guests as witnesses. Dear Ms. Ernst! If you can't handle public criticism, I can! You should still work hard to improve your service!!! Best regards

We have been here twice now and have been disappointed twice. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The menu is very messy, there is no good selection. Either it is with cheese or with mushrooms. For really very high prices there is only a small portion and we didn't really like it either. The second star goes to the presentation of the food.

Great restaurant. The food is all relatively expensive, but very good and generous portions. In my opinion the taste of one of the best restaurants in Halle. A small point of criticism is the staff. There are very polite, young employees, but also unfriendly staff.

I've been to the Red Milan more often now. I have always been satisfied with the quality of the dishes offered and the service! All dishes are more than sufficient and absolutely delicious! The menu takes some getting used to, but it's also something different. Absolute recommendation!

The service, the ambience and ultimately the food........everything was wonderful and the food was very, very tasty..... . It was tasty - but really expensive. The terrace is nice, but no special view. You can't see the Saale.

I was there to celebrate my birthday with my family. The atmosphere is hard to beat. The restaurant is dressed up as a ship and has a great terrace at the back. The order card also reflects an imaginative charm. I can only recommend the red Milan.

Very nice atmosphere and very clean and cozy. The food is very tasty and is served beautifully presented. The staff is very friendly and open to questions and additional requests. If you don't manage to do everything, your food will be packed away. You can also sit very nicely in the outdoor area.

The two of us were there spontaneously on Saturday and were even able to sit outside. That was wonderful. The food was excellent, even if a vegetarian doesn't find anything at first glance, at second glance there was a lot and we were helped a lot when we asked. The atmosphere, especially outside, was very nice on the sunny day. The only deduction is actually for the drinks. Unfortunately the cola came warm and there were no ice cubes. On such days it is particularly stupid to drink warm drinks.

Were here with 6 people - the dishes were all very tasty and visually very appealing. However, the dessert (baily cake - very tasty) contained pieces of walnuts - not fun if you have a nut allergy. We didn't assume that and weren't there. But the service tried to fix everything. However, one waitress stood out because of her whimsical manner. The restaurant closes at 10 p.m. - we were the last guests at 9:30 p.m. - they wanted to close - we were made aware of this. Unfortunately, the space was not optimally prepared for such a restaurant (food from 25 euros and up). Reading the memory card was very difficult - we don't think it's suitable

Service wonderful. The menu's presentation is special. Prices are appropriate for the quality. Gladly again. Location above the Saale. The Böllberger Weir was always acoustically present.

Food and drinks are very nicely presented, but the taste is a little flat. Some dishes were too salty for our taste and some dishes were too bland, so the dishes were nothing special considering the price. Very expensive in terms of price. Ambiance was good with a nice outdoor area. Service was a little brisk but ok. In my opinion, a one-off visit is worth it, but it won't be a regular meeting.

You don't expect such excellent food when you stand in front of the restaurant. The pirate atmosphere seems like a tourist trap at first, but the opposite is true. The dishes are anything but standard and the portions are almost too big. The service is attentive and you feel comfortable.

We went to this restaurant for a cozy evening with friends. The service was very unfriendly and forced us to finally order our food, even though we wanted to arrive first. The face of the lady from the service with the red ponytail and the black beret looked very annoyed and the unfriendly look prompted us to ask another service person if she could take over our service. From then on we had a fantastic evening.

I can hardly describe it but for the first time it was super and I can only recommend it

Creative menu, prices apparently quite high - the portions are immense, but the quality suffers zero. There's a lot going on on the plate, sometimes maybe a little too much, but the flavors of the individual components are a blast and sometimes not run-of-the-mill. A lot of attention to detail, but 2-3 fewer components on the plate wouldn't make a difference. Personally, I would like slightly smaller portions so that I can try something before or after. The service is attentive and friendly, children are welcome. Preferably in the nice season, as the terrace is really nice - view of the Saale and Rabeninsel, but it's also nice to sit in. Clear recommendation, but definitely bring a big appetite.

We were there with our children for the first time today. The food and service were top. The stomach was round as a ball. Is really recommended. A little more expensive but it was worth it. Definitely coming back.

Hervorragende Küche. Drei Sorten Fisch und Garnelen auf der Fischplatte Madagaskar. Ein großes Lob an die Küche!! Der Service ist verbesserungswürdig und der Blick hinter den Tresen mit Hundenäpfen und Putzlappen verdirbt den Appetit. Zum Glück erst zum Schluss vom Weg von der Toilette gesehen. Diese jedoch super sauber!

Essen war geschmacklich sehr gut, die Portion reichlich und toll hergerichtet. Leider war das Ambiente etwas fade und es war in dieser Räumlichkeit recht kühl.

Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut und die Portionen sind riesig. Nicht einer an unserem Tisch hat seine Portion geschafft. Man kann sich den Rest aber einpacken lassen!

Wir waren zum Abendessen dort. Hatten reserviert. Super schönes Ambiente. Liebevoll dekoriert. Die Bedienungen sind alle sehr aufmerksam und super nett. Die Karte ist wahrlich Abenteuerlich. 😁 Das Essen war das absolute Highlight. Super lecker! Steak auf den Punkt gegart und gute Qualität. Das war sein Geld wirklich Wert. Preislich für Die Menge und Qualität daher völlig okay. Im Winter dort als Frostbeule lieber etwas Wärmer anziehen.

Das Essen ist lecker und einfach mal etwas Besonderes. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett, der Service super. Die Preise sind meiner Meinung nach etwas erhöht.

Wir hatten einen Tisch für 17Uhr, es war sehr ruhig. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Speisekarte ist etwas für Abenteuer aber die Bedienung hilft direkt bei frag. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen reichhaltig. Eine klare Empfehlung und wir werden sicher wieder hier essen.

Absolute Empfehlung! Hier hat einfach alles gepasst. Wer Wert auf richtig guten Service legt, ist hier richtig. Die Bedienung war nie aufdringlich, hat sich erkundigt ob alles mundet und hat vor allem, unaufgefordert, etwas zur Speisekarte erzählt inkl. einer Empfehlung. Sonderwünsche wurden nicht nur angenommen sondern auch tolle Alternativen angeboten. Das Essen selbst war wunderschön angerichtet. Das Salatbouquet wollte am liebsten sofort verspeist werden. Die Pommes wurden nicht einfach langweilig mit Ketchup und Mayo serviert sondern hatten eine eigene, sehr leckere Sauce. Diese wurde unter anderem mit Sesamöl verfeinert, was ebenfalls für die Qualität der Zutaten, aber vor allem des Koches/der Köchin spricht. Fisch, Garnelen, Gemüse, alles auf den Punkt. Der Blumenkohl hatte noch etwas Biss, perfekt! Wir waren hin und weg und werden in jedem Fall wieder kommen! Zum Ambiente kann ich nur wenig sagen. Innen war es angenehm, der Blick nach außen war durch Dunkelheit nicht möglich. Die Preise sind der Qualität entsprechend gerechtfertigt. Die Portionen sind etwas groß, da ist kein Platz mehr für ein Dessert. Verbesserungsvorschläge: 1-2 Vorspeisen wären nett. Gerade aktuell würde eine Waldpilz-Cremesuppe super passen. Rind war sehr dominierend auf der Karte. Das ist keineswegs schlecht, vielleicht noch eine eigene Burger Kreation? Bis bald

Tolles, außergewöhnliches und in einer ruhigeren Gegend gelegenes Restaurant. Leider ist die Route hierher mit dem Navi noch nicht perfekt...bitte erst beim "Autohaus" hineinfahren. Jederzeit wieder! Sehr kinderfreundlich, weiter so!

Ein Highlight in vielen Belangen. Schon bei der Speisekarte beginnt das Abenteuer und wie immer hat man die Qual der Wahl. Dann geht es weiter über eine spannende Zubereitung, wo jedes Gericht auf eine tolle individuelle Art trapiert wird. Und das Beste. Es schmeckt auch noch gut Natürlich hat gutes Essen auch seinen Preis und man sollte unbedingt vorher reservieren.

Sehr schöne, gemütliche Gastlichkeit. Das Essen selbst war recht schmackhaft, man sollte aber darauf gefasst sein dass das Essen sehr gut gewürzt ist, nachwürzen ist nicht notwendig. Einiges war dann doch sehr salzig. Unser Hauptgang wurde leider vergessen, was zu längerer Wartezeit führte. Aber man bot sofort einen Ausgleich an. Alles in allem ein schönes Restaurant welches man unbedingt weiterempfehlen kann.

Im Roten Milan kann man im außergewöhnlichen Ambiente sehr gut essen. Die angebotenen Speisen sind abwechslungsreich und werden frisch zubereitet. Entsprechend ist die Karte nicht so umfangreich wie in den "Standard"-Restaurants, was aber auch eher auf Qualität hindeutet. Für Kinder werde traditionelle Gerichte als kleine Portionen angeboten, so z.B. Schnitzel mit Pommes. Die Chefin ist darüber hinaus äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich würde jederzeit wieder vorbei kommen.

Ich war nun im Abstand von einem Monat zwei mal im Roten Milan, um mir ein aussagekräftiges Bild zu verschaffen. Positiv zu erwähnen sind die Speisen mit ihrer kreativen und wirklich hübschen Anrichtung, sowie das nette Personal. Da das Essen allgemein überzeugend war, habe ich das Restaurant auch ein zweites Mal besucht. Jedoch gibt es für mich einige Punkte, die man teilweise sehr leicht beheben könnte, um den Gesamteindruck besser zu gestalten. Nach Befahren der eher schwierig zu findenden Einfahrt (Hinweisschild fehlt) mit sehr großem Parkplatz, ist leider kein Eingang zum Lokal zu erkennen. Zugang zum Schiff ist verschlossen und am Anbau steht man vor verspiegelten Scheiben, weshalb man nicht hindurch sehen und erkennen könnte, ob man hier richtig ist. Der tatsächlicher Gang scheint eine verspiegelte Nebeneingangstür zu sein, an welcher weder eine Speisekarte aushängt, noch ein Schild „Eingang“ oder „herzlich willkommen“ zu finden ist. Tagsüber nicht einsehbar, ob es überhaupt geöffnet hat. Die Speisekarten bestehen aus zwei sehr unübersichtlichen handgeschriebenen A3 großen schwarz -weiß Kopien. Die Getränkekarte ist ein Maschinell geschriebenes gelbes einlaminiertes A4 Blatt. Beides wirklich sehr unästhetisch, wäre einfach zu verbessern und durch eine vernünftige übersichtliche Karte zu ersetzen. Preise sind verhältnismäßig hoch angesetzt, dafür jedoch große Portionen. Im Durchschnitt kosten die meisten Gerichte 20-25€, wofür ich jedoch in Halle auch in gehobenen Lokalen essen kann. Mobiliar ist renovierungsbedürftig. Unser Tisch hat so stark gewackelt, dass ich mich nicht daran auflehnen konnte. Stühle waren sehr abgelebt. Insgesamt eigentlich empfehlenswertes Essen und fähige Mitarbeiter, Gesamtambiente aber verbesserungswürdig.
