Excellent food (European dishea mainly with several vegetarian options) at very reasonable prices. A favourite of uni lecturers on the Steintor Campus.

The food is absolutely delicious, simply fantastic 🤩 😋🤩😋. A very elegant restaurant. Very nice staff, attentive and friendly. We were completely satisfied.

We discovered this restaurant by chance and were lucky enough to snag two tables. We were absolutely thrilled, from the welcome to the service and the food – everything was perfect. Thank you for two wonderful evenings. If we're ever in Halle again, there will only be one place we go. Keep up the great work! 👍

The wedding reception was very well organized by the team (table preparation, etc.). The service team was excellent and very friendly. The food was perfectly coordinated despite the international guests. The food was very good. Considering you've never hosted a celebration of this size before, you did a really great job. We celebrated our wedding reception here with 43 people – and it was simply perfect! The food was outstanding, fresh, and lovingly prepared. The waiters were incredibly friendly and attentive, and they looked after us wonderfully throughout the evening. The venue is also fantastic – stylish, cozy, and with a wonderful atmosphere. Our guests and we were absolutely thrilled. We highly recommend it!

Unfortunately, it was a flop for us. Given the good prices, we wouldn't have expected such a faux pas. We had a reservation and told them in advance that we had tickets for the variety show two hours later. You can specify this when making the reservation. We waited about an hour and a half for nothing for food and went into the show hungry. The waiter apologized, and we didn't have to pay for the drinks. We can't comment on the food because we didn't get a chance to try it. It's not good business for either party to block a table for five people in a full restaurant for two hours without food at a cost of €200.

❗️ Fantastic food ❗️ We've seen this restaurant several times, reserved a table online in advance, and finally gave it a try 🙃 The result was completely convincing: the food was fantastic, the service was consistently friendly and prompt, and you're served unique creations 👍🏾 The price for the dishes is naturally a bit higher, but the drink prices are good, and the ambiance downstairs is nicely balanced. Upstairs, you have a lovely view from the window, and I would swap the snack chairs for nicer ones; then it would also get 5 ⭐️ for the ambiance 😉

The fine veal roulade was expensive but very dry. However, the cocktails and affogato coffee were good and the staff friendly.

My husband and I have been to this restaurant several times and always look forward to the delicious food and a good glass of wine in the evening. There are delicious snacks and wonderful combinations of main courses, depending on your taste. Always great!

The food was delicious and looked good, but somehow the restaurant lacks heart. I wouldn't go back, although I can't really say why. But try it for yourself!

Delicious food, great ambiance, and excellent service. Based on the spelling of the name, we initially expected a Scandinavian bistro. But in fact, Lözius is a modern interpretation of a brasserie with delicious creations that are sure to please your fingertips :-) So don't be afraid of the creative spelling of the logo; even non-Swedes can enjoy their meal here. :-)

Today was our second visit for a nightcap (a beer) for my wife and me. We received a friendly welcome, and our order arrived promptly. Today, it was even half an hour before closing time. No annoyed grumbling or anything like that. Super nice and friendly. Thumbs up, we'll be back. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🍀

The pictures really speak for themselves. That was just lunch. My guests from Hamburg apologized to me, saying they didn't normally do that, but that in this case they wanted to take photos of the food.

We visited this restaurant two evenings in a row and sampled a large portion of the menu. Every dish was a hit – delicious and prepared with love. The service was also exceptionally friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is truly pleasant and inviting – you immediately feel at home. This restaurant has definitely become my favorite. We went to Lözius for Sunday brunch on April 27th. To be honest, we were disappointed. The price was €35 per person excluding drinks. The “breakfast buffet” was really good, everything was available, including delicious fish. The hot buffet was disappointing. There was one kind of meat. Roast pork.... nothing more and it was very very dry... actually not edible. There were no alternatives to it. There were also 2 vegetable components... a kind of broccoli and asparagus... the asparagus was delicious. There were also rosemary potatoes and ravioli. It's a shame because we were guided by the many very good reviews. We'll try á la carte again.....maybe we just had a bad day.

We had an appointment there as part of a fun group. We didn't know the place and we didn't expect anything. We were all the more surprised at how tastefully the Lözius was decorated. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos, but the other reviews speak for themselves. The upper floor is particularly worth a visit with the wonderful view of the square in front of the Steintor Varieté. Anyway, we ate great food and had fun! We can recommend the Lözius with a clear conscience and we will definitely come back again. We wish the owners every success, especially with the staff, and that things continue to go well. Many thanks to the staff and the waitress for helping us to have a wonderful evening. We had the veal fillet and the duck breast, both were a dream for the taste buds

There are evenings like this: you go into a restaurant with few expectations and leave full of joy. Fantastic food, great ambience, nice service and great bar. Definitely worth a big recommendation and we would be happy to come back at any time. All in all, a touch of luxury with great cuisine. Awesome, on our “Best Restaurants” list! A charming restaurant in an ideal location, easily accessible. We had dinner upstairs at a beautifully set table. The prices are slightly higher than in comparable restaurants in the city. We really liked it and would happily recommend it.

Edit. February 2025 Still excellent quality and service. Always worth a visit. I always make reservations just to be on the safe side. We had reserved in advance, which is recommended given the size and great quality of the restaurant. The food is wonderfully prepared with lots of fresh herbs and oven-baked vegetables, for example the parsnips with venison or the creamy parsnip and parsley root soup. The venison sauerbraten was super tender and tasted amazing. The waitresses are very attentive and know the dishes and can answer any questions you may have.

It was quite pleasant to eat at the Steintor Varieté before the event without any stress. The dishes were tasty, but the quantity was manageable for the price. The drink prices are also a bit high. The atmosphere is very modern. We had a table near the entrance, which was very uncomfortable as guests were constantly coming in and out, making it cold and drafty. A vestibule would help here. The service team was very attentive and quick.

Finally a real restaurant in Halle again! Top food, great service and first class ambience. Always very happy again. Thank you Carmen for the great evening.

We were guests again on January 29th, 2025. The food is simply outstanding and absolutely worth the increased price. I had Barberie duck breast and the starter with scallop and lobster foam etc. Absolutely delicious and highly recommended. But if you have tickets for the stone gate, the kitchen's time management is rather poor. In total we were there for almost 2 hours. But we can understand that it is not always easy to do everything and do justice to everyone in times of staff shortages and fully booked houses. Maybe a reduced menu will help on days like this? We were so ashamed of our neighbor's table. At this point we apologize. You don't speak so aggressively and viciously to the very hard-working and friendly staff. A sensible tip would have done it too. We would love to come back and know that you have to take some time with you. It's not a quick, fix fast food restaurant, but rather upscale cuisine. Highly recommended! Great food with a touch of luxury. The service was very nice and accommodating. And when small mistakes happened (mistakes when ordering drinks) they were corrected immediately! The choice of food and presentation as well as the ingredients and appearance are rarely seen in Halle. A little more expensive. But price/performance is right! Thumbs up and clear recommendation.

Very cute restaurant, but you should budget money... for a soup (quite small but super tasty) and a coffee 11€ (main courses 15€+) we had the cheapest one, the soup doesn't fill you up, but it's also a starter . Very nice staff, toilet great:) Coffee ok. (Vegan rather difficult)

We've been here several times and the cuisine is really excellent, but the service still needs improvement! But it's getting better and better. :-) we'd love to come back ;-))

I haven’t rested like this for a long time, it’s a very atmospheric and super cozy place with very friendly waiters. You can relax on the terrace with your pet, who will be happy to offer some water. The food is divine, I recommend it 1000 percent.

It's a nicely decorated ambience, but the staff still has a lot of catching up to do when it comes to customer service. The beef carpaccio for €19 was frozen in the middle. When the waitress was informed of this, there was a small "Oh sorry, I'll tell the kitchen "I'll let you know". there was no more coffee and he would then start the last round of drinks because he wanted to close... All in all it was a disappointment. Very small portions (which as already mentioned were still frozen and not too little) too much too high prices.

We wanted to eat. After almost an hour the food had not yet been served. We ordered salad and ragout fin. We waited and were asked several times if we had already ordered something, which was annoying and didn't show good organization. We then left. Not again.

One of my favorite restaurants in Halle, great seasonal dishes all year round. Small menus but very good range of options to choose from. Friendly service and nice terrace and interiors. Lunch, dinner or brunch are all highly recommended. Or just for a drink or coffee on the terrace.

I'll keep it short: For me, this is one of the best things Halle has to offer in terms of gastronomy. Modern ambience, incredibly tasty and attractively prepared food and very courteous and friendly service. Pure enthusiasm on my part. Thank you and see you soon.

Before the event at the Steintorvariete we managed to get a seat without a reservation, but that was very lucky. Next time we will reserve. The service was extremely friendly, nice and attentive. Information about the food and drinks was great. The food from the stand (sauerbraten of deer calf) was very good and the dessert from the menu (honey pumpkin panacotta) was a poem. I found the prices reasonable. I can only warmly recommend the restaurant and will come back. Thank you for the good hospitality.

I went to Sunday brunch with my friends and since there is no more information about brunch on the homepage, I would like to describe our experiences. It's been a while since my last brunch visit, but it was a wonderful memory, which is why I wanted to celebrate my birthday there today. The positive: - the bacon is still amazing, every slice is crispy! - the pretzel rolls were very tasty - We were informed that the warm buffet was now stocked and it was quite tasty. Of course, it always depends on your own taste whether you like warm things. The negative: - Not a single drink is included anymore (there is a carafe of tap water) last time I think there was coffee, juice and even Prosecco. At the price of €25.90 I think filter coffee would be really reasonable, or a cheap coffee flat rate but at least juice or prosecco for a reasonable price. There are so many ways to make it nice... - the buffet was not labeled. I still don't know what the two creams were and therefore hardly anyone has tried them. What was the butter - what was the margarine? What kind of jams were those? - I personally don't find pre-packaged Nutella, cream cheese and honey that nice for a special brunch - there was a sausage platter and a cheese platter - standard everything, nothing special or of any special quality. But there wasn't even an egg salad or anything special - There wasn't a slice of cucumber, pepper or tomato to put on the bread - There were scrambled eggs and boiled eggs but you couldn't have anything else prepared. I love it when you can have a freshly made fried egg or omelette - At around 11:20 a.m. I wanted to make myself a fruit bowl with nuts and muesli, but there were no bowls left. I told this to the colleague I met and she said it would take a while for her to get some. While I was waiting, I took another closer look at the buffet. It was pretty grazed. A guest had placed a used plate there, right in front between the butter and spread. There was only a single slice of sausage on the sausage platter. There were only 3 rolls with caraway or black sesame, a type that apparently nobody really likes. The bowl with the fruit was almost completely empty...When new bowls came and I finally wanted to make my fruit bowl, the fruit was snatched from under my nose...at least for the time being Fill up. I then went down to the bar and reported what the buffet looked like. The guest's plate was cleared away but nothing else was refilled - At the warm buffet there was a pasta pan with larger pieces of pumpkin in it. Unfortunately, these were still completely raw and therefore unfortunately inedible. When the plate was cleared I mentioned this, but there was no response. Somehow I always have the expectation that something like this will happen: Oh, I'm sorry, I hope it was still tasty or there was some interaction with the guest but: - In general, the colleagues in service were very quiet. There was no warm welcome, no one approached us, the plates were always cleared away in silence, there was no explanation of how the buffet works, what is included or what is not... I think that's a real shame! - When making the reservation you could choose whether and what event there was. I chose to celebrate my birthday there, so I selected that and wrote it correctly. But today there was neither a flower on the table, a kind word or any offer (do you want a bottle of Prosecco for so much €). Why could I state this then? Overall the food was ok, nothing outstanding apart from the bacon, but all in all we were totally disappointed. I especially find the combination of increasing the price and worsening the offer extremely bitter.

In mid-December, five of us visited Lözizs after reserving a table for 6 p.m. The welcome was extremely nice, accompanied by a professional table assignment. We received a recommended selection of drinks that started the evening off promisingly. Although ordering our food took some time, we still managed to get to the 8:00 p.m. show in the adjacent theater in time. The food itself turned out to be excellent - attractively prepared, presented in a modern way and simply tasted great. Despite the slightly longer wait for the food, the team managed to act attentively and efficiently so that we could enjoy our dining experience and get to the theater on time. A successful evening at Lözizs, which cleverly combined culinary delights and time management.

My companions enjoyed the food, but unfortunately I didn't at all. The atmosphere is cozy. The staff is very attentive and helpful.

We happened to be standing in front of the restaurant (the Sunday brunch was still running) and felt like having a hot drink. The waitress noticed us and invited us in. We don't know what her motive was. Maybe she was worried that pedestrians freezing to death in front of a restaurant would result in negative headlines, or maybe it was just kindness. In any case, we felt so comfortable that after studying the menu we reserved a table for dinner the following day. We have no regrets, it should be noted here! And when we wanted to end the evening after Mr. Priol's review of the year, we were easily assigned seats. Conclusion: If we manage to get tickets for TILT 2024, we won't hesitate for long...

I went to this restaurant for the first time for a Christmas party. I ate the Duroc pork chop and it was well fried and seasoned. The side dishes weren't to my taste, but I understood the idea behind them and don't want to criticize them. The service was particularly friendly and helpful. All in all a nice restaurant and the evening was also very nice.

Gestern war ich hier zu einem Geburtstagsessen eingeladen und bin von der jungen, frischen Küche und dem ausgesprochen freundlichen Service schwer begeistert! Die Speisekarte bietet ein Standardangebot sowie saisonale Gerichte. Die Auswahl ist angemessen groß und lässt auf frische Zubereitung schließen. Die vom Service empfohlene Spargelquiche (als Vorspeise) war sensationell: knuspriger Mürbeteig, lecker gewürzte Füllung mit auf den Punkt gegartem Spargel.😋 Egal, ob Kalbsschnitzel an Kartoffel-Gurken-Salat (Hauptgang) oder Lavendelpanacotta zum Dessert - Es schmeckte hervorragend und war jeweils sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Abseits vom Essen wird sogar der Gang zur Toilette zum Erlebnis: Das Treppenhaus ist - ebenso wie dass Örtchen selbst - originell gestaltet. Ein klitzekleines Manko gab es lediglich beim Ambiente: im Freisitz nervte irgendwann die quietschende Straßenbahn.

Waren dort zum Sonntagsbrunch. 👍 Sehr gutes Essen und sehr nette Bedienung. Und eine gute Aussicht über den Steintorvorplatz.

Sind heute mit 6 Personen zum Brunch dagewesen. Habe vor ca. 6 Wochen den Tisch reserviert und als Preisauskunft 21.90 € pro Person erhalten. Im Preis inbegriffen wären Getränke wie Wasser, Kaffee/Tee und 1Glas Prosecco pro Person und natürlich die Speisen. Der Schock kam als ich ( leider erst zu Hause) die Rechnung mir ansah. Pro Person 25,90€ und jedes Getränk berechnet. Da fühl ich mich doch abgezockt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, Das Essen hat geschmeckt. Wir werden aber dieses Lokal nicht wieder aufsuchen.

Sehr gutes Essen, super freundliche Bedienung, tolles Ambiente. Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Abend und freuen uns aufs nächste Mal.

Wir waren zum Osterbrunch. Stimmiges Konzept. Leckeres Essen. Super freundliches Personal. Werden wir sicher bald mal wiederholen.

Sehr nettes Restaurant mit leichtem Imbiss-/Café-Charakter. Die Speisenauswahl ist übersichtlich aber qualitativ unfassbar gut. Wir hatten Gemüsequiche, Pastinaken-Suppe, Perlhuhnbrust und Apfelstrudel. Alles nahezu perfekt zubereitet. Das Serviceteam ist sehr freundlich und jung-dynamisch...dabei aber nie aufdringlich.
