Unfortunately, their good reputation is crumbling. Even the seemingly good quality simply can't justify these absurdly high prices anymore. If the meat were organic, I'd be willing to pay that price for a doner kebab. My last Yaprak doner kebabs resembled a German layered salad. How are you supposed to enjoy a doner kebab when you have to eat each ingredient from top to bottom? I really hope things improve here soon, both in terms of prices and quality.

A delicious doner kebab, made with high-quality ingredients, homemade bread, and one that doesn't leave you feeling sick afterward. Definitely deserves 5 stars. At €9, though, it's not exactly cheap.

We always got our doner kebabs here because we thought they were perfect. Unfortunately, I have to say that yesterday was probably our last doner kebab! Friday is not a good day! But after reading the other reviews, it seems we're not alone in our opinion. The doner kebabs are getting more and more expensive, but the portions are getting smaller, and the quality of the yaprak meat leaves much to be desired. 🤷🏻‍♀️ What a shame, we'll be getting our next doner kebab somewhere else!

Unfortunately, I was more than disappointed today. What's happened to the best doner kebab in town? Now there's hardly any cold meat, and what little there is is cut so small that the typical juicy meat flavor of a doner is completely lost. You still end up with plenty of gristle in your mouth; I've never experienced that here before. The filling consists of pieces of bell pepper the size of a quarter of half a pepper, huge slices of tomato and cucumber, and an inordinate amount of lettuce. They used to fill the doner with love and a balanced ratio of meat to salad. For me, today was the last doner kebab here... I'll be looking for an alternative in Halle. Sadly. 😔

For the past few years, this döner kebab was by far the best and tastiest I've had around. Unfortunately, in recent months I've had to increasingly reconsider my opinion, as something has consistently gone wrong. With today's order, I'm sadly forced to conclude that this was probably my last döner here. The prices are rising significantly, while the quality has sadly declined. The portions have become smaller, and it seems they're trying to increase the volume by adding large pieces of vegetables. The meat is often no longer fresh from the spit, but rather from the tray and therefore often cold. Furthermore, it's not clear to me exactly which meat is being used – today it was even mixed from two different spits. The yaprak meat hasn't been optimal lately anyway. It increasingly contains tough and gristly pieces, which are apparently being masked by very fine chopping to make them easier to eat. However, this means the meat loses its original character – the beautiful, juicy, and well-browned meat in decent-sized pieces that used to make this doner so special is simply gone. I really wouldn't have thought it, but unfortunately, a small era has come to an end for me. I'll probably have to look for a different doner in the future. It's a real shame – because it really was once the best doner for miles around.

I'm very satisfied! The service is very friendly, even with a long, stressful line. The kebab is a bit more expensive than the competition, but the taste completely makes up for it. All in all, an absolute must for anyone looking to expand their kebab taste! The staff are simply friendly. Some days the kebab isn't as good as others. The quality isn't consistent. Despite all that, I definitely recommend it.

2xFrench fries usually take 10 minutes. Highlight: The fries are almost ready and he "secretly" throws an old load of fries into the deep fryer to warm them up (and he acts so clumsily that I could see it...). No thanks. Waiting time + old warmed up fries don't work.

For a long time, it was the best kebab in town. Now you get ice-cold meat that's been sliced ​​by the machine for several minutes. The rest is okay, though there's sometimes gristle in the meat.

The best kebab plate you can get in Halle. It's on par with what you'd get served in a restaurant, and the price is just about right at €10/€14. The shop is clean and well-stocked, but unfortunately the atmosphere is a bit lackluster due to the empty department store aisle. The meat is always the same thin slice, fries are crispy, all the sauces are very well seasoned, and at least "spicy" here actually means "spicy."

The food is usually good. But it gets bothersome when they give thick cuts of meat for the yaprik, which shouldn't be thick at all. Also, the delivery price is insane- there's no difference in quality or preparation- in fact, it's worse- yet they charge €3 more! They're stealing money from their customers

Today, I had another portion of Yaprak doner kebab, as well as a portion of pasta, each with two sauces. What can I say? I came home and both of our meals each had a third sauce that I hadn't ordered. They looked at me and asked me which sauces. I'm shocked at the staff's receptivity... It wasn't stressful or anything; someone was in front of me and someone would be after me... So I had to throw away half a doner kebab because I didn't like the sauce or cream, as well as half a portion of pasta because the third sauce in the pasta was too much. When you spend that much money, in my case €15 for two meals, you expect it to be okay. If I had seen it on the spot, I definitely would have left the meal.

I have been a regular customer for many years and unfortunately I am no longer satisfied. For a few weeks now, the meat has been served to me raw and with almost no roasted aromas. The meat is quite soft and simply doesn't taste the same as before. In addition, your bread or the bread preparation also deteriorates, which also bothers me a lot. The bread is usually cut too wide and everything falls apart. I'm usually there around lunchtime and have had the same experience several times in the evenings. Please come back to your old strength.

Simply unbeatable! For so many years, Ayhans Döner has been my absolute number one when it comes to fresh, delicious and high quality food. The vegetables are always crunchy, the meat cooked perfectly, & the sauces are to die for. You can simply taste that the focus here is on freshness and quality! But it's not just the food that's outstanding, the staff is also incredibly friendly and accommodating. No matter how stressful it is, you will always be greeted with a smile here. The service is fast, attentive & warm. There are many kebab shops, but this one is in a league of its own. Anyone who has eaten here once is guaranteed to come back! And if you don't make it, maybe there'll be a little more love in the sauce next time you visit. Absolutely recommended ❤️ It just tastes too good!

Doner kebab is very good but also very expensive. For €8.50 you can also get the special Yarak kebab, which doesn't taste much different than a normal one. Vegetables are always very fresh and delicious. Otherwise it has become too expensive compared to others.

Delicious kebab. It's nice to see that the same people still work there as in 2000. The meat of the kebab is different than I know from others, but tastes great. Vegetables all very fresh and well cared for. I can hygienically understand another user's review that the cash is collected first and then a kebab is prepared. But I don't know anything different from any kebab shop. All in all, I think the store is very well maintained and the staff is very friendly. We are satisfied.

I am still of the opinion that this kebab tastes one of the best in the whole city. Bread is crispy, salad is fresh and crunchy and the meat is juicy and aromatic. Unfortunately, what ruins everything is the fact that there are no clearly regulated activities there. Someone who collects is not allowed to prepare food a minute later without washing their hands. This is totally hygienic. Unfortunately, this is no exception there. On the last visit, the boss prepared my meal after cleaning the place and settling my order a minute before, without gloves or washing his hands. It's a real shame, I always thought it was delicious. But since I woke up with diarrhea several times the day after eating the kebab, it was the last time there for me. It would be a case for the health department.

We always go to the Charlottencenter to eat the kebab. The quality of the ingredients and the fresh preparation cannot be taken for granted, which makes the kebab all the better. In my opinion, the price is not necessarily justified, the kebab and all other dishes are in the top price segment. But as mentioned, one of the best kebabs in the area. Service is always good, food is always good, ambience is not really great but there is hardly any chance of expanding this due to the location.

Basically a good kebab, but when I wanted to treat myself to it at home, my tongue was eaten away, the sauce was so hot. You could have asked whether it was spicy or not, but I don't know if that's part of the standard sauce mix. If so, they ruin the entire kebab with the hot sauce, which is otherwise actually good. We ordered All 3 kebabs with hot sauce. Even though we ordered without. No insight on the phone. 12€ per kebab and then that. Never happens to us again.

Stopped here on the way home and picked up 4. Almost all 4 were eliminated. Tzaziki or garlic sauce not really. Instead of sheep's cheese, put some disgusting cheese cream on it and do something different than what was ordered. You put everything on it even though it says garlic sauce. That was actually the worst kebab I've ever eaten and we love eating kebab. Never again. And even the bun wasn't crispy and soft on the inside but baked too long and hard. So something like that for 9.50 or without the weird cheese stuff 8.50 is more than audacious for something like that.

Solid kebab, BUT: Being charged €1 more UNANNOUNCED for a random cheese sauce is outrageous. You feel stripped away and then everything only tastes half as good. Even with 8.5€ you can make good sales (probably the most expensive kebab in Halle). 9.5€ is not possible...

I find value for money reasonable. €8.50 for a Yaprak kebab isn't cheap, but they can score points with quality. It's not a run-of-the-mill kebab. Good meat, fresh salads, delicious sauces. I particularly liked the fact that they use “special” ingredients. For example, on this kebab you won't find any cheap iceberg lettuce, no watery tomato slices, no limp cucumber slices... But higher quality date/cherry tomatoes, rocket, coleslaw mix with carrot, radish, fresh herbs... The meat is well seasoned and gristle-free - very tasty in my opinion. The guys behind the counter were very friendly and on the ball. Despite the long queue, they coordinated and processed the orders quickly. There are also seating options. I can only recommend this snack bar. Thumbs up and keep it up.

Für mich einer der besten Döner überhaupt. Die Soßen schmecken alle frisch und selbst gemacht und nicht, wie so oft, künstlich. Der Laden macht einen extrem sauberen Eindruck. Nur die Lage ist nicht wirklich toll.

Positiv - Essen hat geschmeckt -freundliches Personal -leckere Soßen -kein 08/15 Dönerstube - zügiges Arbeiten auch wenn die 5 Leute auf 5 m2 Meter sich etwas im Wege standen -Yabrak Fleisch Negativ -Preise äußerst hoch ( Dönerteller 13€ ohne Getränk) -lasst es doch endlich sein das Fleisch in der Mikrowelle zu erhitzen - Plaste vom neuen Drehspieß wurde vergessen->erst nach einigen Runden am warmen Grill entfernt wurden -Hühnchenfleisch was geschnitten wurde war teilweise noch roh -verwirrende Speisekarte ( Hühnchenfleisch/ Yabrak/normales Fleisch-> wie sollen 3 verschiedene Fleischsorten bei nur 2 Grillplätzen gehen??)

Bin kein Dönerexperte, aber das Yaprak-Fleisch macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Der Dönerteller insgesamt hat gut geschmeckt, die Soßen scheinen (?) selbstgemacht zu sein. Für den westlichen Gaumen mag es vielleicht etwas fad sein, da wir die Hackvariante des Döners mit viel Geschmacksverstärker (Glutamat) gewöhnt sind. Wer aber nach einem qualitativ besseren und natürlichen Döner sucht und dafür bereit ist, etwas mehr zu zahlen, ist hier richtig.

Bester Döner ever! Freitags gibt es für uns immer Chicken- und Yaprakdöner: Kebap knusprig, Soße lecker, Salat(e) vom Feinsten, gute Portionen super verpackt. Gut investiertes Geld (Wer billig will, muss woanders hin!).

Immer wieder ein perfekter Döner!

Meine persönliche Meinung ist, dass dieser Döner, der BESTE!! in Halle ist. Das Yaprak Fleisch ist so saftig und vom Geschmack her übertrifft es ganz klar die "Billig" Hackfleisch Varianten und dafür zahl ich auch gerne mehr. Die Verkäufer machen auch einen super Eindruck...saubere Kleidung, die Auslagen sind sauber und nicht bekleckert...einfach Top! Für diese Qualität fahr ich gerne von Trotha zum Charlottencenter :) Die Krönung wäre noch, wenn sie ein richtiges Lokal/Restaurant hätten, was nicht wie ein Schnell Imbiss aussieht.

Super leckerer Döner (sowohl der Hack und besonders der Yaprakspieß), einer der besten 3 in Halle, am Brot welches gut war, könnten sie noch ein wenig arbeiten. Preis für die Qualität absolut gerechtfertigt.

Ein absoluter top Döner . Man bekommt neben einen "normalen" Dönerspieß , auch einen yabrak-fleischspieß , sprich nur Kalbfleisch , kein Hack . Und dieses Fleisch ist absolut lecker und immer gross gegrillt . Brot nicht von der Stange und mit ordentlich Sesam .Soßen dick und sehr köstlich . Salat frisch und sehr bunt zusammengestellt . Rundum sehr zu empfehlen.

In regelmäßigen Abständen nehmen wir Yabrak mit nach Hause. So lange die Qualität in Ordnung war, habe ich die Preiserhöhung selbstverständlich akzeptiert. Aber heute war die Fleischqualität wirklich unterirdisch. Schade!

Mein Chicken Döner zum mitnehmen war fast roh. Das Chickenfleisch war noch rot, leider erst zu Hause bemerkt. Schade und das bei unserem lieblings Döner!!!
