Ordered Dürum with chicken. For whatever reason, there are fries in the Dürum. Totally soggy from the stringy sauce... Everything totally greasy. Even drunk it wouldn't be a great meal... What a shame But at least a touch of clove on the flesh

On this summer evening, of course, I'm sitting outside the two-story restaurant on the edge of the pedestrian zone. “The real Syrian food” promises the menu, which the friendly service hands me. Main courses range between 8.50 and 16 euros. I start with hummes accompanied by homemade bread. A little too tahini-heavy for me, but a solid start. It continues with “Mix grill (1 sp lamb 1 sp chicken 1 minced meat 1 st lamb cutlet)”. Grilled to perfection, with delicious side dishes. At the end I am given tea and a delicate piece of baklava. “You were in Syria with this meal,” the man at the cash register beams at me. I like to think so, and I'm not sure it would have tasted as good if the menu had been in standard German. “We have no other branches” is also written on the map. And I know I'll be back. At least for the grilled fish I saw at the next table. Conclusion: Syrian delicacies - only here. One of the best shawarma shops in the area, especially the quality of the bread made in-house. I drive about 50 minutes from Leipzig when I want to enjoy a delicious meal.

Non-Arabs have to wait until the Arabs have eaten. No fixed price, but on a negotiated basis. (Great calligraphy art upstairs on the first floor.) Visit again after 6 months: one tells me muhammara with bread costs €5, the other says the basic price already includes bread, card reader "doesn't work"...

We ate there for the first time today. We always wanted to do it because the plates looked really good when we walked past and today was finally the day. What can I say... 10/10 for this food and the service. We had Baba Ganoush as a starter, 2x kibbe, the mix grill plate and a falafel wrap - every single dish was incredibly intense and, above all, extremely freshly prepared. As if this wasn't enough, we were given free tea and baklava for dessert... we have also visited other charcoal grills in Halle, but none of them come close to this one in terms of price/performance! We paid €31 for 2 people including a coal and the free add-ons... we'll definitely be back and especially with more friends. This is the perfect shop if you want to try some interesting dishes with friends, have a variety of things put on the table and everyone can try all the dishes! Unbeatable for the price... try it! ☺️

I don't know what a person is saying. The food is not good at all and he won't eat it. The chicken is burnt and the potatoes are burnt in the heart of the sandwich and full of oil. The broccoli is empty and the pickles are in the shape of the plate. I swallowed my breath. Two whites and two eggs, I swear they were two, but I arrived home. We received something different than what we ordered. We got products we didn't want. We have been informed that the order has already been charged and there is nothing we can do about it. (although we haven't paid yet.) The food itself was rather poor, the breaded chicken was OK, but the fries and side dishes were tasteless and greasy.

So sorry, that was an absolute disgrace. For the first time in Halle and probably the worst food I've ever had in a kebab shop. Disgusting is the best way to describe it. I'm mad as the sauce on my Dürüm. Vegetables tasted like cucumber water, sauce was pure mayo and Dürüm tasted like pancakes. All in all a huge flop like Rudy at Schalke. Ciao

The food is very tasty and the portions are big enough for a meal. All the stuff is friendly and nice. The atmosphere is so orientalist. I suggest if they can add some oriental music to the restaurant it might add a touch.

When it comes to cleanliness, you could mention that the restaurant seemed unhygienic. You could also point out that the food was just mediocre and didn't live up to expectations.

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. First of all, when I entered the restaurant I immediately noticed the lack of cleanliness. The tables were dingy and there was even food residue on some chairs. Unfortunately, this unhygienic impression severely affected my appetite. The food itself was only of average quality. The dishes we ordered lacked freshness and taste. The presentation also left a lot to be desired. It seemed like the kitchen and staff didn't put enough care into the preparation and presentation of the food. Overall, my visit to this restaurant was disappointing. The lack of cleanliness and the average quality of the food meant that I cannot give a positive recommendation. I will dine elsewhere in the future.

I've been here a few years ago, so I tried the shawarma bowl again. I've eaten it in several places, but Grill Albalad is the best, for 7.5 euros, they don't offer such a generous bowl anywhere. The shawarma is really excellent, the vegetables have character, 3 kinds of flavors. spicy-salty bell pepper, cabbage with yogurt, and sweet carrot with 1-2 others)

The food has been very good so far but trying to charge 7 euros for a portion of rice is really extortionate. Since our new colleague has been working there (for 3-4 months), we've been reluctant to go to this shop - we've never had such problems swapping out some fries for rice. Unfortunately the store is no longer recommended.

The best grill in Halle Saale. I can highly recommend this store. The people there are very accommodating and nice. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. There are also great dishes for vegetarians. I would recommend you to eat in the shop because the serving of the dishes is an experience.

Grill al Balad is back, and that's great news. If you want oven-fresh flatbread with excellent hummus and deliciously seasoned baba ganoush, then you've come to the right place. The main courses were also very tasty, as well as very attentive service and all at a fair price.

Ordering a dish there you might have to know how big their portion is and, you will need time, too. Did order lamb with salad only like that and, it took a while to be able finish eating the whole portion with onions and bread. Since the above all and extremely polite and friendly Syrian guy was running around - up and down the stairs - we noticed a sort of mismatch in communication, there he brought black tea and baklava to say something. In my case, I had to manage more food than ever expected and, the guy brought tea again. When I left he sort of disappeared, therefore I failed to have the chance to say "شكرًا لك".

Wir haben gleich nach dem Hinsetzen kostenlos Tee gereicht bekommen und es wurde beim Essen gleich gefragt, ob alles gut ist und wir noch was brauchen, top Service einfach ♥️ Das Restaurant ist sehr sauber, Kartenzahlung war kein Problem, nur das Licht war vielleicht etwas ungemütlich aber das ist eigentlich kein thema! Hat mit orientalischem bzw. syrischem Essen nicht viel zu tun. Was die als Shawerma-Teller verkaufen, ist Hühnerfleisch in Fladenbrot gewickelt (wobei man kaum auseinanderhalten kann, was was ist), dazu Pommes mit Geschmacksverstärker (dreiviertel Stunde später brennen meine Lippen immer noch), als Beilagen 2-3 angeröstete Peperoni (einzig frisches Gemüse), ein paar Scheiben saure Gurke, Krautsalat American style und billigste Knoblauch-Majo vom Großmarkt. Bei dem Preis hätte ich allerdings schon stutzig werden müsse. Wer hier fünf Sterne vergibt, kennt anscheinend nichts Besseres. Der Laden ist abgeranzt und mäßig sauber. Die Leute sind freundlich. Aber ich werde da nicht wieder hingehen.

Wir waren bereits Kunden des anderen Lokals, das Essen ist in beiden Läden hervorragend, hier punktet der holzkohlegrill jedoch eindeutig. Das Angebot an Speisen ist dort größer. Das Adana nur zu empfehlen, sowas geniales. Das Team ist immer bemüht, nett und höflich. Das Essen frisch und lecker. Die Preise unschlagbar! Lasst euch von gutem orientalischen Gerichten verwöhnen. ♡ Wir fahren jedesmal extra 45 nach Halle nur um dort zu essen :)
