Unfortunately, not a good experience. We used to go there often, and it was always good. Drinks took over 30 minutes even though the place was empty. We got meat burgers even though we had ordered vegetarian. Very unfriendly service, no apology, nothing at all. Unfortunately, I can't recommend them anymore. Vegetable patty instead of plant-based alternative for an extra charge. Apparently, corn is more expensive than beef.

Highly recommended. The food was first-class. We've tried various burgers in several cities. The burgers here top all the others we've eaten so far. Even the fries were incredibly good. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The staff were super nice and friendly. The lady who served us was fantastic. The ambiance is also very nice. The place is modern, bright, and understated. The prices are really good for the quality of the burgers. We will definitely eat there again as soon as we're back in Bielefeld.

This has been my favorite restaurant for a long time. The burger and the dippers with the dips didn't win me over this time. The mayo tasted way too sour... The burger was rather mediocre these days, the meat was cooked through rather than medium, and the lettuce was wilted and not crispy. The dippers were fried for too long. The server didn't seem particularly confident in what he was doing and spoke in a somewhat loud and forceful manner. The drinks that Vinton mixes at the bar are still great and somehow saved it. The place used to be so good... maybe it'll be better next time...

I tried to order a Pinot Gris from the waitress. The waitress didn't seem to know what it was. So the third time she asked, she said, with a loud "Uh," and I replied, "Pourro Gris white wine." When I went to pay, I was immediately asked, "Cash, of course!" I replied that I didn't care whether to pay with cash or by card. The reply was that card payments were only accepted above a certain amount. So far, no problem. I only had a €50 bill. The waitress then said, "Don't you have a smaller one?" I said no. She apparently didn't like it, even though I tipped her. In any case, there was no goodbye from the waitress. All in all, a nice place. But the service definitely needs to improve.

Delicious burgers and drinks. The meat patty was a bit too raw for us, but that made the burger very juicy. Otherwise, the taste was very good. The fries were good too. The homemade lemonades were also very tasty and refreshing.

I haven't had such a bad burger in a long time. The meat was strangely too firm. The lettuce was old, and the tomato had no flavor. A €15 burger without a side order has to be convincing, and the Wilde Kuh is far from that. The potato with chicken wasn't convincing either. This, too, was a complete flop; I can't recommend it.

We ate here today with 18 people: we ordered the food in advance, everything went well, it was delicious, served quickly and the service was unbeatable: very attentive and hard-working, it's a shame that their stomachs are so small, it was really tasty!!! Thank you for a successful meal

I was there today, my burger was delivered incorrectly without the caramelized onions and then I had to pay even more than I actually ordered... Burger was ok, fries too. Never again Hans im Glück can do it much better.

Getting the wrong drinks, then getting the right ones. The incorrect ones were simply included in the bill. When I asked, they said the wrong ones had been canceled, but I stupidly accepted that only to see at home that it wasn't true. I feel really ripped off because, unlike me, you know what a cancellation looks like and it must have been clear to you that it wasn't canceled! That was just completely stupid and it really doesn't work. I definitely won't come back...

There were four of us in the Wilden Kuh and ordered based on the recommendation of the friendly waitress. Overall we were satisfied with our visit. The burgers were really tasty – juicy, well seasoned and beautifully presented. The cocktails, on the other hand, didn't entirely convince us. They were okay, but the taste was average - we expected a little more. The location of the restaurant is very good, central and easily accessible. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was attentive. Definitely worth a visit for burger fans - but the drinks still have room for improvement.

We had a great time. The service was very nice and accommodating. My burger was great, as were the dippers. I can recommend the pomegranate lemonade. There will also be dessert and cocktails afterwards. :) The weather was great and the surroundings were therefore busy but still pleasant. A reservation is probably recommended after 5 p.m. as it got very crowded.

The prices and the size of the food don't match. The portions are too small and still expensive. I can recommend it for children or teenagers, but not for adults.

We found the service good. But just not value for money at all! 2 out of 3 burgers were served burnt by keeping warm because they were probably waiting for the dry chicken. Apart from that - very expensive standard burgers. Good fries and dips

I like the vegetarian burger selection; they're super delicious. They're freshly prepared, and you can even watch them being made. I'd love to go back, even if it's a good half-hour drive. :)

Update 3/12/25 It is and remains a first class burger joint. Tasty, friendly... everything was great! +++++ I was here for the first time today and felt very comfortable right from the start. Cozy atmosphere, very friendly service and delicious citizens with many different dips and drinks. The brioche burger buns seem to be identical for every burger - you could perhaps experiment a little more and offer different variants, but so far they are very "fluffy", very tasty and a clear recommendation.

I think the food is fantastic, but the prices are pretty high. The lemonades are 80% ice, so I would like more drink for the price. Good vegetarian selection.

It was there again after a long time and it was completely empty. Normally it's hard to find a place on Saturday lunchtime. Service was very good, but the food was a disaster. My mixed salad was completely drowned in dressing and not really fresh. The burger difficult. Not a good ratio of bread to patty and toppings, the salad was also rather wilted and without a crunch. My daughter prefers to eat burgers just the bun with patty and cheese. That only worked in the menu, the cheese didn't even melt, just zero love. Sorry, but that was really sobering.

It was so well. A friend raved about the store and took us there. At the beginning we had to wait 10 minutes for our reserved table because the reservation was canceled and then we had to wait 40 minutes for the food. Unfortunately, the burgers weren't that special either. Just standard.

“Wilde Kuh” was a special experience. The modern decor is unique, but the furniture is uncomfortable when sitting for long periods of time. On a busy evening it took 40 minutes for us to order and another 40 minutes for the food to arrive (drinks after 10 minutes). The “Sharp Witted Burger”: Positive: - Well seasoned, crispy fries - Finely flavored alcoholic drinks - Perfect temperature and attractive presentation - Reasonable portion size Criticism: - The buns were too crispy, like crispbread with meatballs - The patty was too small (approx. 70% of the bun) - Unpleasant mix of hot and cold elements (possibly cheese) Conclusion: The waiting time and comfort don't make the visit worth it. Quality and price-performance are not right. Even in quiet operation, a 7up took 15 minutes. The alcoholic drinks are a plus, but only attractive to locals. The staff was nice, but the long waiting times put a damper on everything. I would not recommend “Wild Cow”.

You can get delicious, juicy and creative burgers here. We each chose the menu with a soda and shared a bowl of the sides. The meaty burger was just as appealing as the vegetarian one. Both were juicy and well topped. We also enjoyed the dippers. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. In my opinion, only the bacon mayo could have tasted a little more intensely like bacon, but that is certainly a matter of taste. The service was friendly and fast, card payments are possible from 25 euros and the dining room seemed inviting. All in all I would come again.

The 🍔 was juicy and the fries were well seasoned and soft on the inside. However, the patty was a little too raw. I also ordered onion rings as a side dish, but only the fries arrived. But it's not too bad.

The food came after more than an hour and the waitress wasn't able to refill the drinks. The food was then cold and the icing on the cake was a loud roar from the kitchen! In addition, the floor and toilets were incredibly dirty. Even references to the grievances were answered with a shrug of the shoulders by the waitress. The people next door went somewhere else, we should have done that too. Never again!!!

Honestly? Never again. Loved eating there over the last few years. BUT that was the last time. Paid almost €85 for the meal. We ordered it to be picked up and we were there on time, we live two streets away. The food was completely cold. Ice cold and the patties were almost raw inside! Disgusting and simply uneatable. Complaint was made by telephone. There we were summoned to the store. When we got back here, the boss himself said that he had already seen that the food was not okay before it was delivered. You may ask yourself why something like this is even released?! We rejected the voucher and asked for the money back. Our account details were noted and the boss promised us that the money would be transferred the next day. That was 3 weeks ago and so far no payment has been received despite repeated reminders. I reactivated my Google account for this review because I'm just so mad at the store.

Where should I start, the wild cow is really wild. The homemade lemonades are just syrup and water and ice and were very sweet. The starter was forgotten and the main course was started straight away. We ordered 3 burgers, well fried. But some of them were medium, actually raw. The fries and veggies were plentiful and good, the dips okay. If you're sitting on the toilet you can smooch with the doorknob and after wiping your bottom you have to go to the chiropractor and have your neck straightened out again. Once you've filled the toilet, there's a hole in the wall where you can continue to run your business, clear plus point. The boss is having a staff interview in the middle of the restaurant and is trashing his waitress in the conversation. Really great, very personable. After you finally want to leave and pay you have to wait 25 minutes and then the system fails. Actually it's not that bad, unfortunately 3 colleagues and the boss are standing in front of the screen and don't know what to do. Until the brilliant idea came, just take a pen and paper, like you used to do. Unfortunately, as guests we also had to calculate our own bill because the poor waitress had a total blackout. The boss looks at you very sympathetically and doesn't even apologize for the circumstances. Yes, what can you say, we paid an average of 28 euros for a wild experience with the wild cows. If you love absolute chaos go for it, otherwise not recommended.

Guys, a fabulous burger (WK Fried Onion)! The Atomic Mayo (with jalapeno) was also super tasty and really interesting. And if we ever had a request, Leen was there straight away and took great care of us. You should definitely eat here!

Very nice trendy restaurant in Bielefeld. We were there today with 7 adults and 2 children. Great service from Leen, she lives gastronomy, has a complete overview, a good explanation of the dishes for everyone, super child-friendly, always a smile... A hospitality that is second to none - thank you for that! The food was exactly as ordered and extremely tasty, for each of us. A real tip for good food. Keep it up, we'll be back...

Burgers are okay but nothing special. Service, however, subpar. I also ordered my burger with pickled cucumbers, but I got cucumbers. These were then charged despite the complaint (at €2.90!!!). My friend ordered her burger with avocado. She got a dollop of avocado cream for over 2 euros extra. When we asked, we were told that this was “normal”. However, the menu says “avocado”. We thought it was pretty cheeky. All in all, we wouldn't eat here again

It's a shame if your prices no longer correspond to the previously very good quality. €2.90 for two slices of cucumber and €2.20 for a dollop of avocado cream are very cheeky. Especially if you didn't actually order premium cucumbers, but rather pickled cucumbers. When we pointed this out to the waitress, they apologized very kindly for the mistake, but of course we still had to pay for the two expensive slices of cucumber. When asked whether the “Avocado” was shown on the menu (and on the bill) as an additional topping for €2.20, the answer was that the wild cow was the avocado topping just about an avocado cream. All right, and what do you get if you actually order avocado cream as a dip from you?

I've only been there once so far, but it left a very good impression on me. First about the restaurant itself. When I ate there it was summer and I thought it was great that the entire glass wall was pushed open so that enough air could circulate in the restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice and it's not too crowded or confusing. Now about the food. I ordered Kumpir back then and I have to say it was great. The plate is super full and the potatoes are relatively large, so I got a filling meal for my money. The drinks are also very refreshing especially the lemonade. The service is also very nice and courteous. They helped me a lot with choosing the dish and also estimated the size well. I'd love to come back.

The food itself was quite good. Only we ordered our burgers once with onions and once without. Unfortunately the onions were then swapped. It can happen, we brought this to the attention of the service and at first we got nothing in response except a questioning face. We could just remove the onions. We could, but a friendly answer would also have been very nice. Something like, oh I'm sorry. Excuse me please. There was tomato on a burger, but that wasn't on the menu. My companion doesn't like tomatoes. So first disassemble the burger, remove the tomatoes and then put it back together again. I thought the question was very good: you could pay? Big disappointment. Became more expensive - would be OK for the quality as back then. Now it's gotten worse, way too much caramelized onion, too sweet, and only a small mushroom (in Burger Bacon Mushrooms) 🙄 Doesn't taste like I remember. It's a shame, that was my favorite burger local. And card payments starting at €25. Ridiculous. Unfortunately it's time to try competition. Very very very unfortunate.

The burgers in the “Wilden Kuh” are really fantastic! Freshly baked rolls and high-quality meat ensure a true taste experience. The ambience is pleasant and the relaxed atmosphere invites you to relax. The service was friendly, but sometimes a little unmotivated and could be more attentive overall. Solid burgers for normal prices, service was fine. There are many burger places in this area and this one doesn't stand out, neither negatively nor positively. The only major difference is that there l is a large selection of vegan/vegetarian burgers, so if you are looking for that it's a great place. Otherwise you can go here or literally anywhere else in Bielefeld (e.g. Hans im Glück, New Orleans, Nichtschwimmer) and pay the same for the same experience.

The lively atmosphere in Bielefeld city center, combined with very tasty burgers and nice service, is great. I'd love to come back.

The Sharp Witted Burger! A must for anyone who likes it spicy. For me one of the best burgers I've eaten. Everything was super fresh and beautifully prepared. You can also drink good cocktails here and end the evening comfortably.

Cozy atmosphere and very correct employees. The bacon burgers have a very smoky note, which I found really tasty. The sauces with the fries were also strong. This will definitely fill you up. One star deduction each because it's not the cheapest store, not all of the chairs are upholstered and I was missing some salt in the meat and fries. (But everything is very manageable)

Although we had the best shots at BierBachelor, friends first gave us the wrong price and they also insisted that the short shots we had ordered would cost €30 and not €20. The staff wasn't exactly polite. My colleague had to calculate the whole thing out loud twice before they only asked for €20. Part of our order was then made, but we had to ask for the rest until they were prepared. Maybe a calculator wouldn't be a bad idea. :) The atmosphere was good and so was the food.

We've been coming to the wild cow since it opened. We were always very enthusiastic. Unfortunately we can no longer say that. We come for the New York blue cheese burger. Unfortunately, it is much smaller and you couldn't taste any blue cheese! It was very disappointing. The service wasn't particularly good either. The young lady preferred to be on her cell phone rather than come to the table to ask if everything was OK. We also had to organize the refilling of the sauces ourselves. You had the feeling that you were getting significantly less for very high prices.

Bland burgers, bland fries, unhelpful service. The burgers were so lame that we swapped completely different ones without realizing it. There was a casual “sorry” and no discount or anything like that. Disappointing food for over 20 euros.

Very pleasant, modern atmosphere. The service was friendly and reserved. Food: Was quite ok. Very good buns, unfortunately the meat is more of a small meatball, much smaller in size than the bun. Unfortunately, the braised onions were a bit burnt in my case. Fries and dippers were good. Conclusion: a “hip” burger joint with potential. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is a bit lacking.

Yesterday I was at the Wilde Kuh restaurant in Bielefeld with my girlfriend and we were very happy with our food. The restaurant offers a wide selection of burgers, all freshly and deliciously prepared. We chose the classic burger and a salad, both of which were very generously portioned. The meat was juicy and tender, the salad was crisp and colorful, and the sauces were tangy and creamy. There were also crispy sweet potato sticks that were perfect for dipping. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and modern. We felt completely at home and can only recommend the restaurant. We'd love to come back!
