The fries were really tasty and crispy. Unfortunately, the burger was a disappointment: The meat was so overcooked and dry that it lost all flavor—more like chewing on chips than a juicy burger.

Today, on the way home from Hanover to Duisburg, we took a little detour. I've been wanting to eat here for a while. We had the SECRET SMASH burger. I can only say it was the best burger I've ever had, and I eat burgers often. 👌 Great!! We'll definitely be back.

The food is great. But I found it extremely disappointing that you have to wait 30 minutes and 60 minutes for three things. The one on Eckendorfer Straße doesn't know how it is in the other shops. But even though it was good, I just think the time and money are too precious. It's a real shame. All the best to the Glückpilz team, though.

Oh, I was here for lunch today for €9.99 burger, fries, a drink, and mayo. The food was really good. The service was friendly. I'm satisfied and would happily come back for lunch. Maybe I'll spend €3 for double the meat then 😉

Phew, no, I really wouldn't want to go back. The burger was quite tasty at the end of the day, but the wait had nothing to do with fast food. The wait staff couldn't have gotten my order wrong if I'd actively asked, and the interior is somewhere between a hospital and a police station. There are so many great places for burgers in Bielefeld where you get much more for the same price. Please don't let yourself be fooled.

I had to delete my old review and was unfortunately rather dissatisfied – with the food. Unfortunately, I have to say that Glückspilz has declined. At first, they lived up to the hype, but with all this price pressure on social media... what a pity! They themselves say that they then bought cheaper. If I want to eat cheaply, I go to the competition on Eckendorfer Straße. But okay... I had 2-3 hairs in my burger. It can happen, I complained, and I got a new burger without any ifs and buts. However, it was squashed together so quickly that the bread was simply soggy and everything was falling apart. Service: She was visibly uncomfortable, apologized several times, and of course, reacted very politely. What I personally object to is that Glückspilz still uploads menus by photo on Google Maps, even though they no longer exist. By the way, all the other employees on site seemed listless and not "happy." It was a strange atmosphere. Unfortunately, they're often very taciturn on other days, too. Not what you'd expect from watching these over-the-top YouTube shorts. Atmosphere: A Back to the Future poster on otherwise somewhat empty walls. The table and chairs resemble a supermarket snack bar. Not particularly inviting. Nothing like a burger joint. Some of the tables were dirty from previous customers. My tip: Stop trying to maximize profits with this franchise hype and remember what you once were, and deliver in all your Bielefeld branches like you did on day one. Unfortunately, the old lucky soul is completely missing!

We were inspired by the social media marketing and wanted to see for ourselves. First, the service: We were shocked to see the store was completely empty when we arrived. Even though it was off-peak, we found it uninviting that the manager was staring at his phone as we entered. He only approached us after two minutes to take our order and showed no willingness to talk or offer any recommendations. It was our first visit, but unfortunately, they didn't ask if we needed help, which I've seen differently at other restaurants. This poor service deducts two points. Let's get to the food: The fries were truly outstandingly delicious and crispy – exactly to my taste. The curry mango sauce was also very good. The "top secret sauce" turned out to be a regular cocktail sauce, but the marketing gimmick was still amusing and fit with the humorous social media presence. Unfortunately, the burger was only lukewarm. The bread was noticeably cold on the outside, which worried me at first. In a nearly empty shop, I expect a hot, freshly prepared burger. Since this wasn't the case, I'm deducting two points here as well. The burger tasted good, though. The quantity was also acceptable for the lunch menu. Outside of that time, however, I would have found the price a bit too high. The ambiance is overall okay, although some spots seemed a bit worn and the outside area didn't look particularly nice. But that's acceptable for a fast-food restaurant. Overall, I give the shop 3 out of 5 points. I'll try the "One Piece" on my next visit and hope for a 5/5. Super delicious burgers 🍔! Since my beloved King Kong wasn't on the menu anymore, they made it for me anyway. Very friendly staff. The quality is super freshly prepared and not burgers made for the masses. I'd go back anytime.

So I just ordered the secret smash burger, digggahhhh, what a brutal burger that was! With the melted cheese, I'll order two next time, brutal! And the delivery was super fast, very satisfied!

The One Piece burger was delicious, but unfortunately there was chewing gum in the leather couch, which was very annoying. The restrooms weren't clean at all. That's a no-go.

I asked the waiter for a recommendation and ordered the Secret Smash Burger with the Steffi Special side dish. Today, I picked up food there for the first time in two years and was more than disappointed when I got home. The Secret Smash was completely runny, the meat was very thin, the bun was manageable, and it tasted like a cheeseburger from the Golden M. The fries were tasty, but very limited in quantity. The Hollywood was still the best, even though it tasted a bit like currywurst. Wild, but apparently the signature move of the house's own "Lucky Mushroom" sauce. The Superstar was also cheeseburger-level, with just a hint of bacon. The employee who prepared the food was super nice and friendly, but the taste was a complete flop, and our need for "Lucky Mushroom" is satisfied for the time being. We definitely weren't lucky today :(

The food is really delicious, but not cheap. The lady at the cash register and the person working the kitchen were also nice and helped us order without any hassle. However, the fact that the doors are constantly open, which means you can clearly hear the street, makes it uninviting for children, and generally feels a bit sparse, is a point deduction. But the most important thing – the food – is good.

The prices are still OK, I think. The service was always super friendly. The atmosphere, the wall decorations, are simply fantastic. We ordered food there and after about 50 minutes, they asked where it was and they only gave us a "we forgot it" and not even an apology. After two minutes, the burger was lukewarm and the bread didn't taste that fresh. We were a bit disappointed. We enjoyed going there, but we wouldn't go again.

Far too expensive for what you get I ordered the dish with fries, cheese sauce, and chicken – for €10. I got four small pieces of chicken, a few fries, and some gravy. Unfortunately disappointing for the second time I used to really enjoy ordering from Glückspilz and was always satisfied - unfortunately this was the second time in a row that the quality of the food had deteriorated significantly. The burger meat had an extremely salty, dry and strange taste, almost as if it had been spoiled. The fries were dried out and no longer hot, and the chicken nuggets were also disappointing in taste. Overall, the food didn't taste good at all - on the contrary, I hope we don't get food poisoning from it. Delivery via Uber Eats was quick and the driver was very friendly, but unfortunately that alone can't make up for the disappointing food. I really hope that the quality improves again soon - as I was used to.

Price performance is not right. Portions really too small for the price. If I compare this with other chains (not McDonalds and Burger King, but Hans im Glück or Peter Pane), Glückspilz clearly stinks. In Printip fast food for the price of a restaurant. The taste was ok. No trees torn up.

In terms of food and ambience, the Bürgerladen Glückspilz is a solid 10 out of 10. Everything was absolutely on point - tasted great, freshly prepared and lovingly presented. The ambience also invites you to linger: modern, cozy and well thought out. In this respect, a clear recommendation without any deductions. As far as service is concerned, I unfortunately have to deduct two stars. Ordering via the terminals worked wonderfully – uncomplicated and efficient. Unfortunately, no invoice was issued directly, which is problematic for me as a self-employed person as I absolutely need a receipt for business expenses. After asking the staff, I was assured that the receipt would be brought to me promptly. Unfortunately that didn't happen. It's a shame, because that spoils the otherwise entirely positive overall impression. Conclusion: The culinary and atmospheric quality is top notch, but when it comes to service – especially when it comes to transparency and traceability – there is still room for improvement.

WOW! What a delectable feast! I went in with my two kids Aelfred and Theodore and we all got the new secret smash burger. It was delicious. We were served by a strapping young man (i forget his name) , he was so polite and truly made our glückspilz experiance magical. I would definetly recommend! 10/10

Until October 2024, the burgers and side dishes were still great. I would have given it 5 stars. Now the burgers have become quite small and my beloved Manta plate is no longer available :( The Crazy Chick side dish is a substitute, but I also have the feeling that there is a lot less chicken on the fries. Unfortunately, a very unpleasant situation happened to me earlier. After I placed my order (Hollywood menu) at the machine and went to the toilet, an employee followed me into the toilet while I was washing my hands. She opened the door of the toilet that I had previously used and also the door of the changing room and left the toilet facility again WITHOUT washing her hands while I was still standing at the sink. Apart from that, I felt quite disturbed in my privacy. After drying my hands I went back to the counter and waited for my order and asked her why she followed me to the toilet... to which she replied bluntly toilet control. Furthermore, I was able to observe how she placed my "chicken patty" on the black tile shelf behind the deep fryer - without a base or anything similar. I've probably eaten at your place 4 times in the last 1-2 weeks because I actually found it pretty tasty. But now when I think about it, the food comes back to me. Washing your hands after entering a toilet facility is a must! Especially if you touch the door handles with your bare hands. Apart from that, she could have apologized for entering the toilet facility to “check” even though I was still on site. Of course, it would have been best to wash your hands after the check. I think it's a real shame - I enjoyed eating at your place, but with such unhygienic conditions I will avoid it in the future.

First of all, the three employees present argue about who should take my order. Then we wait 30 minutes even though the store was almost empty. The employees preferred to chat. Food was to take away. When we got home I was completely shocked by the size of the burgers. The burgers are exactly the same size as those from McDonald’s. However, we admittedly have fresher salad. But exactly the same amount as at McDonald's all in all. After 2 burgers and a fries, I made myself something to eat straight afterwards. I would never enter your store again. If only the food would cost half as much from now on. I would rather eat chemical food at McDonald's any day than at yours. At McDonald’s I get 10 burgers and 5 fries for it. Of course I won't recommend it to anyone and will always declare it negatively. Goodbye forever.

Certainly a good option for ordering/to-go, but I would choose a different option next time for eating on site. What struck me negatively was that the pagers you get to be notified when the food is ready remain with the staff after the order has been picked up. There was no sauce or jalapenos, and actually no salad either, so it didn't taste like anything. The frying fat is definitely from a week ago and some of the fries had some old fat in them and were simply too salty. We don't want anything in return, just that people think twice about where they go out to eat. We're happy if we don't get any stomach problems.

I recently ate at Glückspilz Burger and was looking forward to a good burger. Unfortunately I had to wait 45 minutes for my food, even though the restaurant was not crowded. During this time, other guests who came after me received their orders more quickly. The burger itself tasted okay, but after waiting for so long, the enjoyment was honestly spoiled. The service seemed overwhelmed and unfortunately there was no apology for the long waiting time. It's a shame, I was hoping for more. If the organization doesn't change, I'll probably look for another burger place next time.

We went to this store quite spontaneously because of the eye-catching marketing. This branch is a big disappointment. Burgers are quite tasty, but unfortunately they don't do justice to the high price. I've eaten much more lavish and high quality food for the total price. The fries were very tasty at first, but unfortunately they quickly became soggy due to the sauces etc. Unfortunately, the burgers cooled down quite quickly. Of course, that could also have been due to the metallic tray. We didn't really have any contact with the staff. We ordered via terminals, but that was ok. Pretty much directly behind it was an employee in the kitchen area. We were the only ones in the store, there was no greeting or anything. The preparation time for our food was totally ok. At some point another employee came and at least she managed to say “Hello” in our direction. The shop was filling up more and more. Two ladies with several children came in, ordered and then laboriously put together two tables and chairs. I think that one of the two employees could have helped, then the two ladies with the children wouldn't have sat in the middle of the path and you would have been able to get to the exit as another guest without any major inconvenience. Let's see if we will give another branch the chance to convince us of the brand...

The visit to Glücksschlucht was a disappointment. The burger was small, the patty was very thin and for the price I expected much more. The staff was unfriendly and also talked loudly in the cooking area, which filled the entire store with noise. The atmosphere seemed cold and loveless, and the cleanliness also left a lot to be desired. I also find it questionable that the restaurant sells drinks like cola and thus indirectly supports Israeli products and does not offer alternatives for people who boycott them. First of all: This recession only applies to the branch in Bielefeld. Quite disappointing in terms of quality and price/performance ratio. Dry ready-made buns and meat patties like those from well-known fast food chains. Marketing is the key to success here, because you can get significantly better burgers in Bielefeld and the surrounding area for less money. I also don't fully understand why ready-made buns are used in Bielefeld and real bakery buns in the Herford branch. Different operators? Long story short. Overpriced and not tasty.

And as we discovered yesterday, the burgers in the Bielefeld branch have also completely changed. That's a real shame and we were very disappointed! So it's no longer worth it for us to go the extra mile for this current quality and we won't be coming back for these burgers for a while!
