Ristorante San Remo Glücksburg in Glücksburg (Ostsee)

A spontaneous decision to go out to dinner resulted in us driving around the area talking on the phone for over an hour and receiving one rejection after the next. We finally decided on a “good luck” basis for this restaurant, which we have known since childhood (“Café Drei”), but which has undergone various concept and operator changes during this time. None of the past concepts have achieved the status of “favorite restaurant”. The new ambience is very cozy (almost “cozy” with orange-yellow dim lighting), the staff is very friendly and charming. Of course the view is great during the day, but in the evenings and at night it's just dark. Nevertheless, a table by the window – fine. Good card, everything essential is there. We ordered zander fillet and Fettina Romana. Reasonable waiting time, drinks cold and fresh. Well, and then it happened. The pike perch was perfectly cooked, not dry and very tasty, the sauce was extremely rich in flavors. Potato gratin also very tasty; Maybe a little mild, but pepper and salt mills are available. Better than too much of a good thing. The meat of the Fettina was also on point, there was no coward at the pan here. Soft pink with just not raw “middle fiber”. The flavors were put together very skilfully, nothing dominated unpleasantly. Because it can't go without criticism: croquettes aren't necessarily the side dish I would have chosen - but everyone is different. And it certainly wouldn't have been a problem to change the supplement. Anecdote: While we were waiting for the food, a couple entered the dining room and asked for a seat and a menu in halting English. The waitress replied friendly in fluent English and invited the guests to a table. Returning with the cards, she heard the two of them talking in Danish and from then on continued the conversation in fluent Danish. Bravo! Conclusion: The best “emergency solution” ever. Definitely not the last time there. Better than the Acquarello in Solitude. I haven't been to Odore del Mare for a long time, and the service there is "trickier". In this respect, the Italian of choice at the moment. For pizza, however, the tip is still: Pizzateca da Tonis on Norderstraße. EDIT: Unfortunately too inconsistent. There are now more “mixed” experiences than good ones and unfortunately also a really bad experience. If you consider yourself a lucky person, you might be able to eat very well there. For everyone else, it's too much of a hit and miss.

Super tasty food and nice big portions

Beautifully located restaurant that we visited during the autumn holidays. Prices are reasonable. Staff friendly and we didn't have to wait too long for the food. With the empty drinks we could have been more attentive and asked if we would like anything else, but that is rather a small matter, you can ask yourself ;-). We had both pizza and pasta dishes and everything was tasty. There is also a small parking lot right next to the restaurant. We will definitely go again on our next vacation.

Always worth a stop. Good food, not exactly cheap. You can afford it as the only restaurant in town. Very good draft beer!

Ich hatte die Pizza Caprese, ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so eine gute Pizza gegessen, der Rand war dick und fluffig. Die Schokoladen Mousse war himmlisch und liebevoll angerichtet.

There are delicious dishes here, but unfortunately the portion is a bit small for a tall man... my friend wasn't full. The staff is very nice and cozy atmosphere.

Leider mussten wir 7 KM fahren fahren um ein gutes Restaurant zu besuchen. Wir haben es nicht bereut. Das Essen war köstlich und die Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam. Wenn wir wieder mal in der Gegend sind, gerne wieder.

The 4 cheese pizza was really good, the Panna cotta less so, but it was still decent. The service was excellent, the ability to make a reservation via google is also a positive. The prices however were not updated online (on google - not the fault of the restaurant though) and too expensive for my liking. The location itself is really good with wide windows towards the beach/sea. Still a good restaurant, though more on the expensive side i'd say. (26€ for pizza+dessert)

Unfortunately the prices are not justified. The food was somehow ok, but nothing more: cold bruschetti, pizza with too much cheese and not enough flavor. We only liked the tiramisu and the espresso was good. The service wasn't very attentive and took a long time to arrive, even though it was already getting empty. But he was still very friendly. Cozy atmosphere with warm lighting and pretty decorations.

Nice restaurant with heated terrace, attentive service. The prices for pizza and pasta are on the upper level, but the taste and ingredients are very tasty. But the drinks are also at a high level. Therefore 1 star less and you then drink one glass less, I don't know if this calculation is clear to the innkeepers.

We spontaneously went out for dinner this evening. And we were once again impeccably entertained. A great location right on the beach. The service is charming, attentive and always on the ball 😀 And the food is a highlight, steak to the point, delicately light pink, a delight. We would love to come back.

The bruscetta beforehand was unfortunately a little disappointing, I've had better. The pizza, however, was great and you definitely have a great view here. We were satisfied with the service; everyone here is very friendly, even if it sometimes took a while to be served. The prices are slightly high, but definitely reasonable.

Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen. Der Service war sehr herzlich und das Essen hat super geschmeckt. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, auch mit dem Blick auf's Wasser. Wir hatten Steak, Pizza und Pasta als Hauptgerichte und waren sehr glücklich.

We came across the restaurant through the voucher book (Schlemmerblock). The location of the restaurant is of course unbeatable, especially since we could still sit outside that evening in September. Our pasta with beef fillet was very tasty, although homemade pasta would be perfect for the price and the portion size is borderline. The service was friendly (and for us it didn't matter whether it was lip injections or something similar 😉 because friendliness & competence are important to us & everyone is welcome to wear/live what they want/find beautiful!). Conclusion: the prices are very high, so we wouldn't tend to eat there without a voucher book, but we would like to expressly recommend this restaurant.

A beautiful, small Italian restaurant with very good cuisine. Service was okay, although it was very busy when we were there. The food tastes very tasty and is really worth recommending. The ideal location right on the beach makes this restaurant a perfect place for dinner.

I have never had such a delicious bruschetta or spaghetti bolognese. Considering that I don't think the owner is Italian at all (?), I have very rarely eaten such great Italian food. It's a shame that I was only here for vacation and probably won't visit this great restaurant again.

Wir waren enttäuscht. Preis und Leistung stimmten für uns gar nicht. Lediglich das Ambiente hat gepasst. Vom Restaurant auf die Ostsee schauen ist nett. Das Essen hat uns gar nicht geschmeckt und den zum Essen gehörenden Salat mussten wir bei den Damen im Service anmahnen. Insgesamt eine herbe Enttäuschung. Dazu teuer bezahlt. Wir werden dort nicht mehr essen gehen. Unsere Speisen waren ein Saltimbocca und ein Zanderfilet mit Rosmarin Kartoffeln.

First you are asked to wait at the stairs to be picked up, completely normal. 2 of 3 hard-working service staff take notice of us but leave us standing there for 10 minutes. There seems to be a lot going on. We were led to a table that had not yet been cleared, with the words: We'll do that right away! When nothing happened after what felt like 15 minutes, my wife called the young man to please clean up and wipe the table. Clearing up was still possible, wiping wasn't his thing, rather reluctantly. As we continued running, we called for the card, which was promptly slammed onto the table. The nice lady who led us to the table came after we had organized an ashtray ourselves and apologized for the wait and took the order. After a relatively short time the food arrived, delivered by another lady who left with the words: I'll bring the bread straight away. Needless to say, the bread didn't come. I found 15.90 for a carbonara and an equally tiny starter of veal with tuna cream (same price) to be quite expensive, especially since the carbonara served looked like it had been slapped on - carelessly. This is how our first day of vacation ended. However, the campsite and the beach cafe have not covered themselves in fame either. The season is over, the employees are up, I hope the boss recognizes the performance properly

Had a table reserved here online. Worked great. We even had the choice of whether we wanted to sit inside or outside. Food was very good. Had pasta, pizza and steak plates. Everyone was enthusiastic and very satisfied. Thank you for the nice evening with you.

We ate there twice. Both times the restaurant was well attended. The service staff was very friendly and the food came quickly. The food was very tasty but unfortunately after the main course was served, no waiter came by for a long time to clear away and possibly pick up dessert. We didn't think that was great. The second time it was the same, except that after 20-30 minutes we noticed and ordered dessert. Even after that, no one showed up to give us the bill. That was then forgotten too. Another drawback was that we ordered noodles without fried chicken. This means that the kitchen had less effort and saved meat - but the same price was still charged. Conclusion: Kitchen is top but the service can still work on itself

Small portions for a lot of money. Otherwise everything was sprayed on too much, especially the lips of the service staff, who were also made up way too heavily (we think). The friendliness seemed very artificial to us. Due to the prices and unreasonably small portions we will not be coming back.

Went to San Remo today with 2 people without a reservation. Brilliant, very friendly welcome, service and service first class, pizza broccoli and pasta with shrimps really good, really world class.

Nice restaurant, with a great view of the sea 🌊 and friendly service. The online reservation worked great. 👍 The food was served quickly and was "OK" (period). The pasta 🍝 was clear (definitely order pizza bread with it). Pizza 🍕 fit, but had a large edge. However, for the fairly high prices, our expectations were not really met. This was particularly the case with the children's menu. Very clear, fries were slightly "labeled" and the schnitzel had a "too perfect" shape and height. See also picture. You can now think of whatever you want. At least I wouldn't order the menu again.

My wife and I have been here a few times before and have always been satisfied. Today, however, the worst thing was: we had to wait a long time for everything, even though there was only moderate activity. The pizza tasted worse than usual. Unfortunately, we didn't notice until too late that grappa appeared on the bill, which we didn't even get, and for the last hour and a half I had to think about my pizza again (above the... toilet bowl). I know the operators are currently building a second restaurant in Eckernförde; This must not result in guests at the original location being confronted with third-rate service and spoiled food. Maybe my experience today was an unfortunate one-off, but I won't be entering the restaurant again.

Nettes Restaurant. Essen war gut. Wir haben auf der Terrasse gesessen. Da diese leider komplett verglast ist war es dort heiß wie im Backofen. Das sollte zu öffnen sein. Schade, sonst alles prima. Mega gut das Service Personal! Wow!

Right on the beach promenade. Map in Italian. The lobster soup as a starter and then a pizza and finally a double espresso of course. Staff super friendly. In terms of prices, it's a bit more expensive, it's just a typical holiday region. If we weren't just here for 1 week, we would come more often. Thanks for the delicious dinner. We have since moved here and it is still a top Italian restaurant.

Starters came before the drinks, spaghetti with prawns was too oily and too expensive at €21.50, water €8.50 and espresso martini €11.90 too expensive, view of the Baltic Sea was great and unaffordable - that perhaps accounts for the prices. Tiramisu = 1 piece of cake! 9.50 € also xxl expensive, the rest of the dishes were good, we'll be back because of the view of the Baltic Sea and the lack of alternatives

Cheap is different but the food was perfect, service was very nice and everything was right on the beach. There were only local cars in the parking lot - that speaks for itself.

Eating pizza with a view of the Baltic Sea. Overall, a harmonious Italian. The pizzas were all tasty and well topped, although not exceptional. The service was very attentive and courteous, really great. The prices are not that great (e.g. EUR 8.50 for a bottle of water, August 2024), which hurts your wallet. There is also a lack of ventilation in the terrace, it was very warm and felt isolated from the outside world. There is a great view of the Baltic Sea. Parking spaces are available directly in front of the restaurant. I can recommend a visit.

Trotz kurzfristiger Reservierung haben wir einen sehr schönen Tisch am Fenster mit Blick auf die Ostsee erhalten. Als Vorspeise haben wir uns die Bruscetta geteilt - sehr lecker. Anschließend haben wir Pizza gegessen, riesig groß und ebenfalls sehr lecker. Mir war es tatsächlich zuviel, aber mir wurde angeboten, dass ich das Reststück mit nach Hause nehme (Pizza war auch am nächsten Tag noch richtig lecker). Der Service und die Küche sind auf Zack, trotzdem fast alle Tische besetzt waren und auch Speisen zum Abholen gemacht wurden, bekommen wir Getränke und Essen sehr schnell. Alles in allem ein gelungener Abend - wir kommen gerne wieder.

The pizza was rather average. The dough didn't seem completely cooked through and was saturated with the fat from the cheese, and the tomato sauce didn't seem very aromatic. The toppings were only mediocre and the pizza overall was quite dry. But the mousse au chocolat was really a disaster. The top half of the glass was dry and didn't even remotely resemble cream; the consistency was more like a dry, untasty brownie. There were also strange bits in there that seemed a lot like garlic to me. Something like that shouldn't happen, especially not at the price of €8.50.

The pizza was bland, the dough wasn't cooked properly and was completely saturated with the fat from the cheese. Wasn't worth the money, won't be ordering food there again.

We were there again on our 14th vacation. This time rump steak and tagliatelle. Both made with love. Grade 1. Although the staff is absolutely fast and motivated, they seem a bit disorganized. However, it was very busy and they wanted to accommodate everyone. We were still very satisfied again. Clear recommendation from us.

Great location but not organized at all. The waiters are nice but have little experience hence confusing to be guests. The menu is turkish / Italian and as most restaurants in the area of poor quality at prices like in a larger city. They have the advantage of the near by camping site and the desperate need for not self. Cooked food. They are in need of a floor manager and a cook with experience

Wir waren an einem Sommerabend vor Ort und erlebten ein völlig ausgebuchtes Restaurant. Trotzdem hatten die Kellnerinnen den Überblick - laut war es allerdings trotzdem. Auch draußen ist die Lautstärke doll. Das Essen war lecker, die Portionen in Ordnung, aber der Preis ist ein paar Euros zu hoch.

Thank you very much, always happy again. Only once was the zander fish fillet not freshly made, which I couldn't understand for the price of just under €30.....maybe next time.

It was easy to reserve a table via Google food, and when we arrived at the restaurant we got a table on the terrace with a good view of the water. The food was ordered and it was quickly served. We got a beautifully prepared zander fillet. Mine served on tomato ragout with olives and my wife's on cream stewed spinach. Both dishes tasted good, mine was a bit strong from the chilli, but ok for my taste. The staff were nice and the place can be recommended.

Unsere kurzfristige Reservierung wurde eingehalten. Das Personal war sehr schnell unterwegs, um die vielen Gäste zu bedienen. So konnten wir schnell unsere Bestellung abgeben. Getränke und Essen wurden schnell serviert. Dabei war das Personal sehr freundlich und blickig. Ein falsches Getränk wurde ohne Diskussion getauscht. Bei der Hektik durfte das passieren. Wir werden in unserem Urlaub noch einmal dort einkehren.

Der Ausblick wird etwas mit bezahlt. Aber passt schon. Service war mega schnell!

The location of the beautiful restaurant is excellent, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, the pizzas are perfectly topped and extremely tasty. I can highly recommend this pizzeria.

A wonderful Italian restaurant. From the winter garden you have a clear view of the sea. Not so much from the interior. The service was very friendly and the food didn't take long to arrive. We had pizza, bruscetta, the antipasti plate and the children's pasta dish. For dessert there was tiramisu and crema catalana. The Crema Catalana was actually supposed to be flambéed at the table, but unfortunately that didn't happen. Except for the children's meal, everything was delicious.

Since we spent 5 sunny days in the adjacent lodge by the sea, a visit to San Remo literally made sense. We were not disappointed, we ate twice in the restaurant with a wonderful view and twice brought food from San Remo to our balcony. The staff is consistently friendly and also fulfills special requests. Despite the well-filled dining rooms in summer, waiting times are short, the quality of the food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. For us, a clear recommendation without any restrictions!

The restaurant has a high price guarantee, but the tables without tablecloths do not correspond to this. Food was good, service was attentive and quick.

We were very disappointed. The fact that a saltimbocca and a zander fillet come from the kitchen to the table after 10 minutes shows that the food is not freshly cooked here. The veal was bone dry. The rosemary potatoes don't work at all. Cooked and totally soft, almost mushy. We had to look for rosemary. The salad that came with the dish was only served after a complaint. After the disappointment, we decided not to have dessert. And then there are the whole thing for over €95!!! We definitely won't be coming back. Besides, I can't imagine what happens when the restaurant is full.
