A truly charmingly decorated restaurant. The standard menu offers something for every taste. The daily or weekly specials are the highlight for me. The dishes are extremely flavorful, not only in their original form but also in their presentation. Hauke ​​and his team make a visit to the restaurant a truly memorable experience.

A real insider tip. The food is truly top-notch, very tasty, and the service is excellent. They're always hosting different events and offering delicious buffets. It's worth checking out the website in advance. The chef is always available for a friendly Northern German conversation and is happy to stop by your table.

We made a reservation for the fish buffet. There was a tasty selection of various fish and side dishes. The vegetarian a la carte menu was mediocre. There weren't many vegetarian options on the menu, but the staff was very flexible with vegetarian options. The service was very friendly and fast. The location was nice. We didn't get any instructions at the buffet about which fish it was.

The fish buffet on Thursday evenings is very good. Reserving a table is better than sitting at the "cat table." Open only until 8:30 p.m.

I visited the Leuchtturm for the first time on May 30, 2025, and the plaice was fantastic. Excellent service, despite a large group in the restaurant. We had already been told about the fish buffet every Thursday. On August 14, 2025, we finally made it to the fish buffet. Everything was plentiful, with many different types of fish and side dishes to choose from. Everything was fresh and delicious. However, it's recommended to reserve a table. The parking lot is also close by. I highly recommend the Leuchtturm.

Fish buffet on Thursday. It was okay. The price/performance ratio was okay. Only the refilling of empty plates and the food itself wasn't working so well. For example, tomato sauce with... well, soft squid or pasta? Labels would be great, and a bit more monitoring of the temperatures for individual items. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and almost attentive. It couldn't be compared to a Danish fish buffet, but it was okay. The farmer's breakfast was fantastic!

Four of us dined at the Leuchtturm restaurant on Friday. Three people ordered herring with fried potatoes and salad. The herring and fried potatoes were plentiful and good. The salad, however, seemed to have come from the bottom drawer. It had absolutely no freshness. On the plates were brown, mushy salad remnants. Our complaint was only reluctantly accepted. We ate at the restaurant twice and sat outside. First we tried the fish buffet, and the second time we went a la carte. Both times it was delicious. The service and ambiance were okay.

The Leuchtturm Restaurant in Schausende made our wedding a true highlight! The service was first-class, and we felt like VIPs – the staff was super friendly, attentive, and anticipated our every need. The ambiance is simply beautiful and perfect for the big day. The dishes were excellently prepared! The meat was cooked to perfection, and the fish and ratatouille complemented each other perfectly. Friendly service and, of course, a very nice location.

Unfortunately, there was no testing here: We went there to reserve a table for the following day and stood at the entrance where we were supposed to ring the bell. The answer was a very rude shout from around the corner that it was closed. Only then did a man come around the corner and explain that due to a lack of staff, they were closed two days a week. Unfortunately, I hadn't read anything about this outside or online. And why there were guests sitting there despite it being a day off was beyond me. After the greeting, though, I don't need to go back.

After a walk with our dog in the Glücksburg Forest, we had dinner here today. We received a very friendly welcome and dogs are also welcome. There were 2 cards. A seasonal menu with asparagus variations and a “normal” menu, which also seems to change every now and then. Overall, the selection wasn't too big and definitely sufficient. The food came in a reasonable amount of time and was very, very tasty! The service was also great and very accommodating. A great meal in a pleasant atmosphere. Very happy again. Thank you!

Sooo beautiful, even in autumn!! We had sun and were able to really enjoy it here!!! Filled with mussels for 18.90, unbeatable and so delicious!!! The kale is a culinary delight! I got it as a dog pack in XXL for my trip home tomorrow! Very family atmosphere! Thumbs up, keep it up!

We spontaneously stopped in for dinner and were really lucky to get some cookies. We chose to eat from the fish buffet and were not disappointed, it was extensive and very tasty. You could have eaten ala carte but the buffet was too tempting.

If you start a hike towards Holnis from Glücksburg, the Leuchtturm restaurant is unfortunately the only option to get something to drink along the way. So before the hike we found out about the opening times online so that we could take a break in a well-kept area on the way back. When we got there, there was staff in the restaurant, but we were told that it was actually closed??? However, this was neither apparent online nor at the restaurant itself. The question as to whether we could get a cup of coffee was answered in the negative - and we weren't the only potential guests who were sent away because after us another two couples left the restaurant somewhat annoyed. Without words... We actually wanted to visit the fish buffet on Thursdays but that was unnecessary. Clear information online and outside the restaurant would be helpful if the location is closed on day X or Y despite the communicated opening times. Nobody would be angry about that and they would understand, but like that??? Next year we will stock up on provisions for the hike, as this restaurant, as idyllic as it is, unfortunately has nothing to do with hospitality.

Went to the small fisherman's harbor to look at the Kaiter. We were all hungry and unfortunately there is nothing in the harbor except this restaurant. We were there on Saturday evening without a reservation and managed to get a seat outside despite the nice weather and even though it was very full. The food was great, but it took quite a long time (which was probably due to the high number of people). The staff were very busy, but were still always friendly and had a kind word for every guest. Unfortunately, our desert was forgotten and even after this was noticed, it took another 20 minutes until it finally came - then without cream, because it was also "out".. it could have/should have been solved better, then it would have been It was a really nice evening!

I went to the restaurant there for the first time yesterday. The food was really delicious! Kudos to the kitchen! The carrots with the fennel seeds, world class! Meat and fish selection top! I celebrated my premiere last Saturday at the Leuchttum restaurant in Schausende and what can I say?! Very easy! MEGA! But let's start from the beginning... I was booked as a DJ for a wedding reception and arrived at the location in Schausende after about 1.5 hours of driving in the best weather. When I entered the location and wanted to introduce myself, I was immediately greeted in a very friendly manner and was shown my "workstation" and the room for the photo box. That was a great start to the evening. All arrangements with the service team were very professional. Furthermore, the service was very attentive and always with an eye on the guest. For dinner there was a barbecue with excellent grilled food and delicious side dishes that were all cooked to perfection. Really TOP! To get to the point... Great location right in the harbor of Schausende with the possibility of a free wedding ceremony in or on the Flensburg Fjord with a great service team, delicious food and the possibility of moving the reception to the beautiful outdoor area if the weather permits. 5 stars from me! We also ate at the “Leuchtturm” restaurant that evening that Birgit H. dined there. Although we only arrived at the restaurant after 7 p.m., we found a very tasty and fresh buffet. We started with the antipasti and feasted our way through the Mediterranean buffet. (Here's a big compliment to the kitchen) Only the rosemary potatoes could have been hotter, but that's also due to the late time. The finale was a tiramisu that was incredibly delicious. All I can say to the service staff is: THANK YOU!!!! Thank you for making our evening an unforgettable experience. You were very attentive and accommodating. And we would also like to thank the operator for the appealing ambience. We were assigned a nice table with a view of the sailing harbor, sat on very comfortable chairs and were able to enjoy the food and the view. What more do you want. :-) So if you want to treat yourself, you should go to the “Leuchtturm” restaurant in Schausende.

Mediterranean buffet: stay away! We just tried that. Lovelessly square table, very easy to miss - nothing like the photo shown, which unfortunately we were misled by. We know Italian and Spanish delicacies, but the chef seems to have never enjoyed them. Neither olives nor pimientos, bruchetta was small slices of baguette with tomatoes, pickled mushrooms? (as if pulled out of water), lots of sliced ​​peppers or watered down ones (from a jar?), grilled vegetables only eggplant, a colorful salad. The few scampi in the pasta as well as the fish (indefinable) were hard, so to speak, cooked to death. Only the cold salmon was ok. Typical southern delicacies such as dates wrapped in bacon, small potatoes with dip, ham, pizza, etc. were missing. When we asked if dessert would be added later, the answer was: There wouldn't be. At the table we were offered to order a dessert from the menu (not included, of course). It's a shame, because we were really looking forward to the evening.

Great food, great ambience, excellent service ____ The fish dishes were really wonderful and the atmosphere and the view were also nice. Unfortunately, only apparently well-known customers were served attentively. We finally had to go inside to order more drinks, because no one noticed that we were out of stock, nor was anyone interested in our attempts to wave. Unfortunately we had to ask for the bill twice even though the restaurant wasn't full. It's a shame, it was still tasty!

The menu on site is completely different than what is available online. This was due to the off-season. The prices of the current card were 50% more expensive than the online card. I had the regional pan fish with pollock, salmon(?!) and tuna(?!). The tuna was fried to death and not edible, the cucumber salad was bland and watery, the fried potatoes were good. My companion had baked pollock, which was not baked but fried. The servive was attentive and friendly. The children's chair was filthy, dirty and really disgusting. The location of the restaurant is very nice and the parking ticket is refunded upon presentation.

Wir waren am 16.02.2024 beim Dinner Mental. Unser Fazit: Die Show was toll, das war es dann aber auch schon. Die Atmosphäre war ziemlich erschreckend. Man saß eingeengt an einem der Tische mit ca. 8 unbekannten Personen. Das Feeling glich einer Kantine. Das Essen war ok (eine Art Gulasch), aber den Preis absolut nicht wert. Zudem war das Essen, sofern man denn einen normal funktionierenden Stoffwechsel hat, in zu kleine Portionen eingeteilt.

I Think it’s a great idea to have some special Daily instead of ordering from the menu. Very friendly and attentive lady who took pur orders. Die hier angegebenen Daten zur Firma/Unternehmrn stimmen schon seit April 2018 nicht mehr! Die Pächter wurden vom Verein regelrecht rausgemobbt und der Nachfolger sowie der aktuelle Betreiber haben es bis heute nicht geschafft, bzw. sind wohl geistig nicht in der Lage, den Firmeneintrag zu aktualisieren, ausser der Speisekarte! Ein Armutszeugnis und Schande!

Sehr gutes Personal, der Service war auch sehr gut, schnelle Bedienung trotz großer Weihnachtsfeier. Das Essen war super lecker, es war reichlich auf dem Teller, selbst ich als Mann habe es nicht aufessen können. Hervorzuheben ist die Hummersuppe, die ausgezeichnet geschmeckt hat. Das Ambiente war gemütlich, der Ausblick ist wunderschön. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Beim nächsten mal wird dann das Steak probiert. Auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen 👋

Wir haben das italienische Buffet getestet und waren richtig begeistert! Breitgefächerte Auswahl durch die Klassiker der italienischen Küche… Besonders stachen die Saltimbocca hervor! Das einzige was wir vermisst haben, war das fehlende Olivenöl. Ansonsten aber lohnt sich die Fahrt ins Restaurant Leuchtturm! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ich durfte das Restaurant Leuchtturm kennenlernen, da ich als Hochzeitsfotograf tätig bin und dort bereits mehrere Hochzeitsfeiern und freie Trauungen mit meiner Kamera begleiten durfte. Besonders das sehr zuvorkommende Personal und den hübsch maritimen Einrichtungsstil möchte ich hervorheben. Gerechtfertigte 5-Sterne-Bewertung!

Waren zum Fischbuffet dort. Sehr lecker! Anschließend gab es Livemusik, die noch mehr Freude bereitet hätte, wenn die Lautstärke nicht so ohrenbetäubend gewesen wäre. Band und Sängerin waren wirklich gut, aber nach einiger Zeit taten die Ohren so weh, das wir gegangen sind.

Muss nicht sein. Hatte das Kalb-Cordonbleu mit Pommes. Pommes waren ungesalzen, Fleisch war nicht durch, was ein ziemliches Wunderist, wenn man bedenkt wie lange das Essen auf sich hat warten lassen (Wir waren mit die Einzigen). Nachdem es aber zurück gekommen ist, gab es noch eine kleine extra Portion Pommes dazu. Die Bedienung war allerdings zu 50% demotiviert und Leblos. Meine restliche Familie schien dagegen etwas besser erwisch zu haben. Dennoch ist es kein Laden wo ich nochmals hingehen würde.

Fischbuffet gegessen für 23.50€. Das Geld nicht wert. Lediglich die kalten Speisen waren ok. Die Muscheln waren dermaßen unappetitlich schon beim Anblick in den Topf schüttelt es einem. Und das an einem Restaurant direkt am Meer. Da waren nur Muscheln mit kleinem braunem und zerkochtem Muschelfleisch nicht eine mit schön weißem oder gelben Muschelfleisch. Esse für mein Leben gerne Muscheln und koche mir selber zu Hause in der Muschelsaison öfters welche aber solch eine schlechte Qualität habe ich in 40 Jahren noch nicht gesehen. Waren definitiv nicht zu essen geschweige denn zu genießen.

Sehr schönes Restaurant direkt im Hafen. Wir waren hier zu einer Hochzeit eingeladen und das Essen sowie die Getränke ließen nicht zu wünschen übrig. Es gab leckere Beilagen und Antipasti sowie sehr viel vom Grill. Wenn man in der Gegend ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Wir durften im August 2023 unsere Hochzeit in diesem fantastischen Restaurant feiern. Das Personal macht durchgehend eine wirklich tolle Arbeit und steht für einen mehr als guten Service. Wir waren von den Speisen mehr als begeistert (auch bei unseren anderen Besuchen in diesem Restaurant waren die Speisen durchgehend hochwertig). Der Standort ist schön gelegen und bietet eine hervorragende Aussicht. Umrahmt wird der Restaurantbesuch von einer wirklich positiv lockeren und sympathischen Atmosphäre. Das Restaurant, ob zur Durchführung einer eigenen Veranstaltung oder einem Restaurantbesuch, ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist ausgezeichnet.

Auf der Radtour im Sommer 2022 gefunden und besucht - wir waren schwer begeistert! Deshalb mussten wir in diesem Sommerurlaub wieder dorthin, an einem Abend ( eá la Card)… und gleich noch am nächsten Abend (Fischbuffet). Man sitzt dort einfach wunderschön, meist mit Blick auf den kleinen Yachthafen. Und wenn dann noch die Sonne untergeht, erlebt man ein traumhaftes Lichtspiel. Darauf aufmerksam macht - wer es selbst nicht erkennt - Geschäftsführer Hauke Schwarz. Ein Gastronom und Wirt durch und durch. Bodenständig und durchaus hörbar, packt mit an und sitzt am Ende mit seinen Leuten nochmal am Tisch. Das Ambiente ist ein Traum, innen wie außen… maritime Accessoires, Schiffsknoten, verschiedene und besondere Sitzmöbel - edel, hygge würde man es im angrenzenden Nachbarland nennen… unser Tipp: hingehen, genießen und wer die Gelegenheit hat: feiern!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Donnerstag Abend lecker Fischbuffet

Wir waren in unserem Urlaub im Juli 2023 mehrfach dort essen. Alles hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Die Qualität der Fleisch- und Fischgerichte war hervorragend. Wer gerne Fisch ist, dem empfehlen wir das Fischbuffet, das immer donnerstags angeboten wird. Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen wieder. Monika & Peter

Ignorante "Begrüßung " besonders durch die beide Herren .Als nicht Seglerin fühlte man sich hier deplatziert. Im Verlauf war jedoch die Dame ( sie wurde Janette gerufen) freundlich und professionell. Konnte mich daher entspannen und mein Rssen und Main Glas Wein genießen.

Mieses Restaurant. Schlechtester und unfreundlichster Service ever!! Typischer Allman Laden mit Klingel. Man musste 19 min vor der Tür warten. Bei Beträgen des Ladens wurde man angemeckert man solle gefälligst am Eingang warten wie „unfreundlich“ auf jedem Schild doch hingewiesen wurde. Auch die Bedienung hat einen komplette ignoriert,war genervt… Man kann es 0 weiterempfehlen: niemals hingehen. Besser das Geld dort lassen, wo man sich auf Gäste auch freut. J
