Pico in Glücksburg (Ostsee)

All I can say is, great food, great service, and very friendly staff. Got a seat without a reservation. Parking is available right outside. The homemade spaghetti pasta with truffle pesto, shrimp, and cherry tomatoes was excellent. Thumbs up. My boys were also very happy with Ivy's mixed grill. Highly recommended. L. G. Sonja

No, I can't. They can't offer normal service! They're completely overwhelmed with a few guests and close the kitchen. The restaurant was busy, but not full enough to justify this. It's a shame they didn't tell us something like that on the phone before we went. Unfortunately, we couldn't taste the food, no matter how good or bad it might have been.

I can only confirm that the service is impeccable. There was one thing wrong with my meal, and it was on the house, but beforehand they offered to prepare something else. Without any discussion, they simply removed it from the bill. That's what I call professionalism. Things can always happen, so the question is, how do you handle it?

Highly recommended! Even without a reservation, we managed to get a table for four at short notice. Very courteous, professional, and attentive service. Parking is available nearby. The wait time for the food was reasonable, even though almost all the tables were occupied. The food was delicious and, at the time of writing, good value for money. Initially, it was a bit noisy due to two or three smaller groups. We'd gladly return.

Friendly, attentive service and very quick preparation of the delicious dishes. Our order: lamb fillet with beans and fried potatoes (instead of croquettes), garlic bread, and a mixed cold platter. Served with Croatian white wine and Flensburg Strandlager beer. Highly recommended!

We had pizza and a special grilled plate here. Both were delicious and filling. The prices are perfectly reasonable. The grilled plate is really for those with a big appetite... I just barely managed to finish it.

We had a lovely time at the restaurant. We were very impressed by the call, the welcome, and the service. A small fresh flower arrangement was placed on each table as decoration. Unfortunately, this is not a given these days. So it was top notch. In my wife's case, intolerances were taken into account without any reservations. Alternatives were suggested, and requests for changes in the case of allergies were implemented without any problems. Five stars are due here. The two waitresses yesterday, Saturday, were super nice and accommodating. The chef himself was part of the service team, and you could feel everyone's love for the restaurant industry. And the restaurant industry is a tough business. We will definitely be back. Too bad for us... we discovered Pico way too late for us. We were lucky with the table; it just became available. See you soon... We sat outside on the terrace, and the location on the street or the adjacent parking lot didn't bother us at all. It was wonderfully screened off by a hornbeam hedge. Quite the opposite... we were in the thick of things, and for us, that's part of it. The restaurant was very quiet, and the restrooms were very clean, located on the first floor. PS: We were very impressed by the service employee from Venezuela. I wish we could speak Spanish as well as she already speaks German. Muy amable y servicial. Muchas gracias. Truly delicious food! The portions are generous, so you'll definitely be full. It also has a cozy beer garden, complete with beach chairs! Reservations are recommended!

We were just there for a drink. The seating was very comfortable, the staff were open and friendly, and you still felt welcome, even if you didn't eat. However, we regretted the latter, as the plates being carried by looked great.

Super friendly. We came without a reservation and still got a table for four. The food and the amazing desserts (homemade cakes/tarts) were simply phenomenal. Top-notch service; we'll be back.

A really nice restaurant. The service was very friendly and quick. The food was very good. There was nothing to complain about. For those with limited mobility: the restrooms are on the first floor of the building. There's only one staircase.

We had the shashlik. It was cooked to perfection. The braised onions and dips were also good. The salad was fresh and crisp, though it could have used a bit more of the delicious dressing, but that's a matter of taste. The service was friendly and very attentive. You feel at home as a guest.

Very slow service! After a long wait, we were given the menu and were able to order quickly. We opted for a pot of coffee and a hot chocolate with cream. We had to wait 20 minutes for the drinks, but there was a brief explanation that the cream had to be prepared first, which was meant to explain the wait. The pot of coffee was only lukewarm, reflecting the wait. After we asked for the bill, at least another 15 minutes passed before we could pay. All in all, the "break" cost us an hour and 9 euros. That was our last visit.

The food was delicious. A big thank you again to the friendly staff, who, despite the hectic pace, still found time for a few kind words. 😃

Jozo ist ein Gastronom , wie man ihn sich besser nicht wünschen kann . Wir sind immer wieder gerne als Gäste in diesem Restaurant 😋

I can recommend the Picos to everyone

I was there with my family today. My little daughter ordered a handful of fries without salt. The nice lady brought us a large fries with salt and, of course, charged us for it. My daughter couldn't eat the fries because of all the salt, and they were also very hard. That was the last time we were there.

The food was very tasty. The "Pico" grill plate is highly recommended. The meat was very juicy. The service was very friendly.

Pico Restaurant Glücksburg 1a probably best describes our visit in May 2025. Our 5 ⭐️ comes from complete conviction. At our meal with the whole family, there were only happy faces – everyone was happy. Great food, delicious dessert, and very attentive and friendly service. We visited the restaurant for the first time this evening following a recommendation. The reservation, welcome, and ambiance were all completely satisfactory. The evening met our expectations: friendly, attentive service both at and behind the counter, and a courteous, very friendly "chef." The food was truly excellent; we will be visiting Pico more often in the future...

Pico is a fantastic place. The restaurant is run by very nice people from Croatia who offer wonderful hospitality. The place is comfortably furnished and offers the perfect setting for a nice evening or simply a good time over lunch. The bar offers delicious wines, beers and various drinks for children and adults. - The menu is beautifully put together - a good selection, not too much and not too little. Here are my experiences with what I tried: - Tomato soup: Absolutely the best in the Flensburg area. 100%. Creamy, full of flavor and extremely delicate. - Schnitzel: Fantastically breaded, tasty, juicy and just a really good dish. - Pizza Salami: Delicious dough, delicious cheese and consistently good quality. There are only about 5-6 pizzas to choose from as that is not the focus of the place. - Daily dish: Salmon: REALLY DELICIOUS. Huge portion – you really get a lot for the €25 or so you pay for it. Highly recommended! You leave the restaurant with a handshake or a friendly pat on the back from the owners. They are attentive and extremely talkative. DANGER: If you want to eat in the evening, it is important to reserve a table. They are completely booked almost every evening - especially on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. After visiting Glücksburg Castle, we spontaneously stopped at the Pico restaurant, which was within walking distance, on a fresh Saturday in February in the afternoon and didn't regret it 👌🏻😇 Good, friendly service + selection of coffee + great cakes to a hearty meal. Fantastic from the starter with delicious Greek olives, to the lamb on beans and the salmon pasta with really good olive oil. Good portions..👌🏻😁 My mouth is still watering now 🤤👍

Besøgte Pico til sen frokost. Restauranten ligger på torvet i Glücksburg, meget centralt. Er gået forbi mange gange og der har ofte været mange gæster. Nu skulle det være på denne fine oktober dag. Selvom vi kom ved 14.00 tiden var der stadig mange gæster til middag. Vi fik hurtigt et fin bord og fik bestilt drikkevarer som kom hurtigt og ikke længe efter de bestilte retter. Meget flinkt personale som med et smil rydde af når gæster var færdige og alligevel havde de god tid til at servicere de nye gæster. Et stort menu kort med mange lækre retter og dagens retter var der også at vælge. Vi fik pizza og en kødret. Lækkert anrettet , rigeligt og meget velsmagende. En dejlig oplevelse med god kvalitet og priserne var fornuftige. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen.

We have been loyal guests of Croatian cuisine since the 80s and have been enthusiastic about Jozo Jazic, who runs the PICO restaurant on Postplatz in Glücksburg, since 2017. Jozo, once part of the team at Stippe Basic's former Opatja restaurant, continues his culinary journey here with impressive hospitality and a variety of dishes. Whether family celebrations or special occasions – the PICO was always our go-to place. We recently celebrated a 70th birthday there and were, as always, completely satisfied. The food is always fresh, authentic and prepared with great attention to detail. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent price-performance ratio, which underlines the quality of the food. For us, PICO is the first choice when it comes to Croatian cuisine in Glücksburg. Five stars for a restaurant that has been impressing with its warm atmosphere and culinary diversity for decades! We are visiting Glücksburg and spontaneously ate here today. Luckily we made a reservation by phone beforehand, otherwise it probably wouldn't have happened. 😅 Nice ambience, very friendly and attentive waitress (which is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare these days) and the food is really delicious! Everything fresh and homemade. We had the goulash soup (the meat was super tender), Wiener style schnitzel and Jäger style. The schnitzel was thin and crispy, the fries were crispy and the champion sauce was super creamy. 🤤🤤 Price-performance ratio is more than suitable here and we will definitely come back one day. Only recommended! 👍😃

Nice restaurant in Glücksburg, nice terrace, good food and friendly service. You also have time to relax and enjoy yourself here. In Grömitz last year we were literally thrown out after the time window set by the landlord of 45 minutes had been exceeded. That is not the case here and you can enjoy your starter and then the salad in peace. The food is plentiful and the price-performance ratio is also good. Very clean toilets.

Even though we are vacationing in Kappeln this time, we went to Glücksburg (we vacationed here four years in a row) to eat at PICO. The best restaurant far and wide. Wonderful food!!!

We had a wonderful dinner at the Pico Restaurant. As a couple, we came spontaneously without a reservation and although the restaurant was busy, we still got a table near the bar. It was impressive to see how the innkeepers always tried to find solutions by making occupancies during calls and spontaneous visits pushed back and forth. Despite the full house, we never felt rushed and were always warmly welcomed. The small, friendly conversations with the service in particular contributed to this pleasant atmosphere. The food was also a highlight: the Pico grill plate and the daily special – saddle of veal with rocket and parmesan – were excellently prepared and tasted great. The price-performance ratio was also perfect. Our spontaneous visit was a complete success, but due to the popularity of the restaurant we recommend making a reservation in advance. A real gem that we would visit again at any time!

The menu is not exaggerated, but offers something for everyone, from pizza 🍕 to grilled dishes. The food was served quickly and was very tasty 😋. Price/performance was also right here. 👍 Personally, we found the pizza, among other things, much better, like sometimes in a pizzeria further north. For this, e.g. only a few different pizzas on the menu. What we also liked was the service. Friendly, responsive to the children and quick. Absolutely recommended (also for families). 👍
