Too few staff. You have to wait a very long time for the food. There used to be at least some bread and a dip. Unfortunately that was cancelled. The fish was very dry and poorly breaded and unfortunately the fried potatoes weren't good either. . I didn't eat it. Unfortunately there was no response to my comment. But the staff was otherwise very nice. The schnitzel and the burger were good. It's a shame, we always enjoyed going there. But not recommended this time.

Nice but practical, cozy ambience in country house style, the food is simply delicious, fresh and high quality and definitely worth the price, you can also make “extra requests” and they will be fulfilled promptly. The staff is very friendly and attentive... We as a family have rarely eaten so well and felt so well served... We can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience!

One of the best restaurants in Glücksburg. The food is top class and the feel-good factor is more than great. Nothing beats the aioli, this is world class. The young waiter is particularly charming. There remains a permanent smile. I always like to come back. 😊🤗

Despite there being more than 10 free tables, we were sent home. Apparently everything is reserved.

It was a wonderful evening in the barn!!! Called at short notice on Sunday evening to get a table for 6 people. When we arrived we received a warm welcome and were really impressed by the atmosphere. Based on a barn as the name suggests and stylishly and comfortably furnished. I would particularly like to emphasize that the waitress, especially our youngest ones, was in a good mood and very patient when it came to answering their questions and giving great recommendations 😀. The waiting time was short and was shortened by a play area for the youngest children. The food was first class, whether it was brusquetta, garlic bread, burgers, plaice, grilled plates or nuggets, it was simply wonderful. The food was worth every penny and I would recommend it to everyone! We would love to come back should we be in the area again. Very great restaurant 😀😃😀

Here 5/5 stars. Great fresh food, great service, great building and centrally located. The portions are sufficient. The price is partly high, but justified. We were so full and really overwhelmed that you could also give the service a 10.

The barn, a great restaurant, mega delicious food and very nice staff.

The restaurant is easy to find and there are enough parking spaces in front of the house. The inside of the restaurant is very cozy and you enjoy sitting there. The food was very tasty and it came quickly. The drinks were also delicious and looked nice, but unfortunately one of the glasses had dirt from the previous person on the inside. All in all, a really nice restaurant where there is a lot of attention to detail.

Surprisingly good range of food for those traveling through. However, the outdoor seating in the parking lot doesn't offer the atmosphere you would like.

You sit outside in the parking lot, which is fine. The young man in service is the highlight. Fast, very friendly and unobtrusive. He enjoys his work, you can tell that as a guest. The herring was good, as were the fried potatoes. The pasta was unfortunately drowned in a sauce where any flavor was masked by the massive addition of garlic. It's a shame about the remaining fresh vegetables. Sometimes (much) less is more.

A great restaurant with excellent food! It was really difficult to choose from the extensive menu. We chose the steak and salmon and it tasted simply amazing. Plus a very friendly and attentive service. The ambience in the barn also invites you to feel good. A very clear recommendation!

Really great and above all family-friendly restaurant. The standard menu is calm and focuses on the essentials. The monthly or seasonal menus are varied and demonstrate the creativity of the kitchen. Our highlight: play area with all sorts of play and activity equipment for children. The food tastes good and the price/performance ratio is good.

Really an exceptional and very nice restaurant. The service is very nice and attentive. Dogs are very welcome. To be on the safe side, you should reserve a table at least a few hours in advance. The food is super delicious. The portions are completely okay. You should share the large starter plate, which tastes very good, otherwise you will struggle with the main course and have the delicious dessert packed away. We'll be back, for sure. My shrimps in herb garlic oil and tomatoes were delicious to put in 😋 😋 😋 We also had the zuchini schnitzel and you should try it. Thanks to the whole team.

It was a lovely experience! The food was very tasty. There was someone in the group who has celiac disease. Fries, fried potatoes, meat and fish could be prepared gluten-free (without breading).

Last year we got to know the barn under the old owner. It was delicious and cozy there. That's why we decided to go here again for our current vacation. Under new management, the positives will be improved again. Some dishes have been changed here and there. Instead of the old-fashioned balsamic vinegar being used as a decoration on the plate, there are now various mousses made from parsnips or carrots. Very good decision. New maps and delicious cocktails round everything off. The service is very friendly, some people went with the wave and stayed. That's our pleasure. Keep being so creative and human.

The restaurant has been very popular for years and the new owner has not changed the look significantly. The chili bread with pesto quark is still extremely tasty, the tomato and rocket salad (with about three croutons and individual sunflower seeds) almost drowns in its extremely watery dressing and is not worth mentioning in terms of taste, and at just under €14 it's simply worth it an impudence. The employees are extremely friendly and customer-oriented. Unfortunately, one of the seven dishes ordered was served 15 minutes late, which was a shame. The children's area in the middle of the restaurant forces the employees to dance around, and the entire restaurant also has a lot of noise from the running children whose parents don't care about their offspring. Of course, the owner can't do anything for such customers, I'm just stating this as information. Overall an average restaurant with above average prices. You can visit, but it won't blow you away.

A good choice in Glücksburg with extremely friendly service. Even my special request wasn't a problem. I can only recommend the gratinated shepherd's cheese with strips of beef. We had a successful evening with good food.

A really great restaurant with very nice staff We recently had a small celebration and nothing was missing. The food was very tasty, I had no idea that tomato soup could taste so intense. The service staff was very attentive and friendly. Another highlight I think is that there is a small children's corner. The children had the opportunity to read books, which was great. Unfortunately, very few restaurants are so child-friendly. We'll definitely be back.

My friend and I went to eat in the barn today. We are currently on vacation and Glücksburg. It was super tasty and beautifully prepared. The lovely lady who served us was also super nice and friendly. The toilet and everything else was clean and well maintained. We had pork steak and sour meat with fried potatoes and fries. For dessert there was ice cream and creme brulé...it was all delicious. Always my pleasure!!! Thank you. :)

My mother and I were on vacation in Glücksburg and I chose the Scheune restaurant for her birthday. We were super excited, the service was top notch, the food was really delicious and a great portion 😍 Even the boss came to the table to ask if everything was okay. Great atmosphere 💐 I come from the hotel industry myself and I was amazed by it ✨

If I could I would give more than just 5 stars. We were there for the first time today. I called shortly beforehand and we were able to come over spontaneously without any problems. When we arrived there we were warmly welcomed. It was cozy and stylish. The service was extremely friendly and his good mood was infectious. The food was simply fantastic, beautifully prepared and tasted great. I've never praised a chef before; it was the first time here. We'll definitely be back.

Gutes Essen und nettes Personal

The five of us had dinner on Fridays in January. Only a few things tasted really good (salmon), some things were okay (3 different fish fillets all tasted the same; half a duck: warmed up and way too dry, but the taste was okay), some things were bad (vegetarian dishes; especially the pasta dish). The prices were far too high for what was on offer. The very nice and patient service couldn't change that.

Die Scheune ist unser absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Das Essen ist lecker, der Service ist gut und parken kann man direkt vor der Tür. Kinder sind auch herzlich willkommen. Wir haben schon viele schöne Abende zu verschiedensten Anlässen dort verbracht.

Das wichtigste vorab: 3 junge Servicekräfte, jeder verschieden, aber jeder wie er war ein super Mensch und liebe Servicekraft!! Nun zum Essen :) Wir waren mit 2 Personen vor Ort essen und waren sehr glücklich😇 Wir hatten jeweils drei Gänge, 1 Getränk und 1 Cocktail. Das Bruscetta und Knoblauchbrot (sensationeller Dip) als Vorspeise. Danach Steakvariation und Schnitzel mit Pommes und Bratkaroffeln. Zum Abschluss Creme Brülett und ein Apfelkuchen. Um noch weiter in diesem schönen Ambiente zu verweilen gab es dann noch einen leckeren Cocktail :) Alle wünsche wurden kurzerhand erfüllt und man fühlte sich einfach wohl 5 Sterne 🌟 absolut verdient, wir kommen wieder

In der Innenstadt von Glücksburg befindet sich die Scheune. Man kann im Sommer draußen sitzen. Man muss allerdings eine Treppe hoch gehen um ins Restaurant zu gelangen! Essen war sehr lecker!

Auch unsere 3. Weihnachtsfeier hat uns super gefallen. Vielen Dank für den Abend und Eure Geduld. Preis/Leistung super, Auswahl Getränke und Essen perfekt, Atmosphäre und Herzlichkeit unschlagbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren gleich 2 Tage nacheinander dort zum Essen und trotz Hochbetrieb und ohne Reservierung durften wir beide Male bleiben. Der Service ist wirklich außergewöhnlich und das Essen durchweg sehr lecker. Den Salat können wir ganz besonders empfehlen, selten so einen leckeren Salat gegessen! Falls wir mal wieder in der Gegend sind, ist die Scheune auf jeden Fall ein Muss! Auch unser Vierbeiner war herzlich willkommen und wurde sofort mit Wasser versorgt. Einfach rundum Super Service.

Wir waren an einem Freitagabend ohne Reservierung in einer knüppelvollen Scheune. Wir verbrachten die Wartezeit auf unseren Tisch mit einem Aperitif an der Bar, studierten schon einmal die Karte und jeder gestresst vorbeiflitzende Mitarbeiter hatte ein Lächeln, oft auch ein freundliches Wort für uns. So vergaßen wir die Zeit, bekamen irgendwann unseren Tisch, die netteste Kellnerin der Welt und unsere norddeutschen Klassiker (Scholle, Grünkohl). Am Ende gab's noch je einen Willi auf's Haus - für unsere Geduld, die aufzubringen uns keinerlei Mühe gekostet hat.

Wir waren gestern Abend in der Scheune essen und wir müssen sagen, dass wir wirklich von allem begeistert waren. Essen, Ambiente, Service - alles toll. Kommen gerne wieder wenn wir Mal wieder in der Nähe sind. Grüße aus Bielefeld 😊

Wir hatten gestern einen ganz tollen Abend in dem Restaurant. Zuerst ein großes Lob an den jungen Mann im Service. Der war wirklich eine 1 +! So bemüht, aufmerksam und freundlich, das erlebt man nicht oft! Die Speisen waren, allesamt, ganz wunderbar. Wir werden sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Tolles Restaurant und ein super toller Service.

Wir waren vor 2 Jahren schon dort, weil wir in Glücksburg Urlaub gemacht haben. Nun waren wir in Olpenitz und sind 2x wieder zur Scheune gefahren. Diesmal hatten wir einen Hund dabei und egal ob draußen oder drinnen - der Hund war überall willkommen. Das Essen war super und auch wirklich schnell da und der Geschmack spricht für sich, weil wir ja schließlich das dritte Mal dort waren und sicher auch nicht das letzte Mal. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir haben heute spontan einen Tisch in der Scheune reserviert. Am Telefon wurden wir schon sehr herzlich begrüßt, genauso wie im Restaurant. Absolut kinderfreundliche Mitarbeiter. Das Essen (Kürbissuppe, gebratene Garnelen und Penne mit Spinat und Hirtenkäse) war hervorragend und mehr als ausreichend. Für unsere Tochter wurde kostenlos Brot zur Verfügung gestellt und in Kleinkind gerechter Größe geschnitten. Selbst der Chef kam zwischendurch auf einen kurzen Schnack vorbei. Wir möchten uns von Herzen bei Bennett und Marie für den ausgezeichneten Service bedanken, hier arbeitet man noch mit Herz und Seele in der Gastro. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall beim nächsten Urlaub wieder :)

Das Essen war ok, mehr aber aber auch nicht. Die Küche scheint keinen ordentlichen Abzug zu haben. Die Essensgerüchen haben sich gesamten Restaurant verteilt. Unsere Kleidung roch, als kämen wir aus einer Imbissbude. Das war wirklich unangenehm.

Wir sind total begeistert gewesen, das Ambiente hat mir sehr gut gefallen, das Servicepersonal habe ich als sehr freundlich und aufmerksam wahrgenommen. Wir hatten ein vegetarisches und ein Fischgericht und es war wirklich ein Geschmackserlebnis. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen, aber da wir zum Urlaub in Glücksburg waren, wird es wohl bei diesem einen Mal bleiben.

Unser Kellner war an Freundlichkeit nicht zu übertreffen!!!! Hat alle Speisen, falls gewünscht erklärt. Wir hatten Rumpsteak(Garpunkt perfekt getroffen) und Spaghetti mit Garnelen, einfach lecker! Und vorallem die Gerichte waren heiß. Danke für den genussvollen Abend, haben für morgen, unseren letzten Urlaubsabend gleich reserviert.

Wir sind aus der Schweiz nach Dänemark gefahren und beim Zurückfahren haben wir die Scheune gefunden und wollten was Essen. Es war ein Ambiente besser als in einem 5 Sterne Haus😍 auch der Service sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist genau richtig abgeschmeckt. Super lecker, wir wollten nicht im Hotel und haben uns deswegen ein Restaurant mit guter Bewertung gesucht. Die Bewertung der Scheune ist gerechtfertigt, das Essen war top, der Service war sehr aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und sehr gut gelaunt. War ein schönes Erlebnis und wir werden wiederkommen.

Das Restaurant befindet sich in einer umgebauten Scheune - deshalb der Name. Das Interieur ist anders als anderswo. Die Qualität der Speisen ist ansprechend und der Service durchaus angenehm.

Das Rumpsteak und der Dorsch waren auch gestern wieder spitze! Die negativen Bewertungen können wir nicht nachvollziehen. Auch wir haben etwas warten müssen, da das Restaurant voll war. Wir wollten aber einen schönen Abend im Restaurant genießen und nicht im Schnellimbiss! Da muss es auch nicht schnell gehen. Alle Mitarbeitenden waren freundlich und haben sich gut um uns gekümmert. Danke für einen schönen Abend und einen guten Start für das neue Team! P.S.: Für die Rezension haben wir rein gar nichts bekommen! Die ist ehrlich und echt! ;-)

Die Hauptspeise wurde serviert. Der dazugehörige Salat - nach mehrmaligen Anfragen- kam leider erst, als wir aufgegessen hatten. Schlechte Ausreden (wir geben unser Bestes ?? Zu viel Salat wurde heute von den Gästen bestellt ??) einfach absurd. Das Dessert "Apfelkuchen im Glas" entpuppte sich als zerstückelte Äpfelteile als Brei in einer Schüssel...... und hatte mit einem Apfelkuchen NICHTS zu tun. Diese Darstellung und Beschwerde wehrte der Kellner vehement ab und behauptete, diese Speise würde direkt vom Bäcker stammen... Unsinn und dazu noch frech !! Aufgrund des schlechten Service ist dieses Restaurant NICHT zu empfehlen. Schade, denn die Lokalität ist urig und gemütlich.....

Diese Gaststätte brilliert vor allem dadurch, dass man auf alles unendlich lange warten muss. Nach einer Viertelstunde Warten, haben wir uns die Karte selber geholt. Nach einer weiteren Viertelstunde Warten das grosse Erbarmen: Man darf endlich bestellen …. nach einer weiteren Viertelstunde kommen bereits die Getränke…. die Speisen kommen dann auch irgend einmal , sind ok, aber nichts Besonderes…. dann wieder 20 Minuten …… genau: Warten bis man zahlen darf. Leider nur Zwei im Service - bräuchte im Minimum das Doppelte an Arbeitskräften. Kurz: Wer seinen Abend gerne mit Warten verbringt, der ist hier gut aufgehoben. Für uns das erste, einzige und letzte Mal.

Man bekommt was man sich als Anständiges Essen vorstellt ohne Funzeln und überteuerten Preisen in angenehmen Rustikalen Ambiente .
