I don't know how these reviews came about. I can confirm that the staff is very friendly and the ambiance is quite nice. But the food? The pizza resembles a Wagner stone-baked pizza in shape and taste with a little fresh pizza topping. The menu, somewhat misleadingly, lists a "Wiener Schnitzel" under the generic term "Schweineschnitzel." The correct term here would be "Wiener-style Schnitzel" to really avoid confusion. But the taste of this schnitzel also leaves a lot to be desired.

Great Italian restaurant in Zell an der Mosel. Nice ambience inside and a great view from the outside terrace. The food was very tasty and the overall price-performance ratio was very good. What is particularly noteworthy, however, is the sensational operation. Very polite and hard-working, always with a smile on your face and always keeping an eye on everything - that's service. Very friendly service, short waiting times, very tasty food (we had the Capriciosa salad, tagliatelle with salmon and the spaghetti arugula) and reasonable prices. We were only here for a short vacation, otherwise we would definitely have eaten here again.

Service is super nice, ambience is very good. Food fills you up. Unfortunately no more. I had noodles. Unfortunately there wasn't even a pizza roll in advance and the parmesan was out of the bag (like the cardboard spaghetti used to be). But it was nicely served in a ceramic bowl.

Even though it was pretty crowded and there seemed to be little space, he managed to find us a spot for our group of six. The food was very tasty, the portions were generous and the dishes were very tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. The owner was very nice and personally attended to our needs. Unfortunately no Italian-run restaurant. An Italian would not “get lost” here. Anyone who knows good Italian cuisine will be disappointed here. Despite the many positive reviews regarding the pizza. The dough consists of poor flour and the topping is not of high quality. Some frozen pizzas taste better. Salad with parsley instead of Italian basil? Unusual.

Pizza Tonno , Pizza Quattro Stagione , Schnitzel Hawaii and Salmon salad were very good. Unfortunately, the Pizza Speciale and Spaghetti Carbonara were a lot less tasty and somewhat bland. The latter seemed to have been made with cream and/or too little Pecorino. Fortunately, tiramisu was a tasty ending. - here too, only cash payment applies 👎

The worst pizza crust ever, a cheap defrosted pizza or a pizza from the vending machine is better. Interesting that no card payment is accepted (you can imagine that) - but it successfully prevents you from ordering too much due to a lack of cash and being disappointed afterwards. When you end up finding dishes on the menu and a name that doesn't sound Italian at all, then it dawns on you that you might be being taken seriously. The service was actually ok, but when you find hard black plastic pieces in the salad and you even research what that could be, you expect an apology from a (especially Italian) restaurateur and maybe a grappa as an apology... Edit: there was actually that at the end, but rather "wordlessly"... The stars for the ambience go to the nice terrace with a view of the Moselle.

Great restaurant with an interesting menu. The mix of Balkan and Italian dishes initially unsettled us slightly. Wrongfully. Not only was the service very good, casual and very attentive, but also the food. The sucuk pan and the baked feta as starters were extremely tasty. But pizza, pasta and the mixed plates are also highly recommended. The seats on the terrace have a direct view of the Moselle. Very polite and patient waiters. There were four of us there as a family. Twice. We would have gone more often and still found something new, but also wanted to give other shops a chance. The winner is clearly this great restaurant.

Was there last night. Very busy on a Monday evening. Fine ambience, service very friendly, food good 👍🏻, but then... no EC card payment… supposedly too expensive…. Were directed to the ATM behind the house in the pedestrian zone. Are you serious?! A couple next to us felt the same way... cash only during this time?! Doesn't work at all... It's a shame ☹️ it's too expensive and I found the reference to an ATM really offensive...hence points deducted for the ambience...

“Ristorante Dua” can be recommended without reservation. It is a family-run restaurant with very tasty food that is prepared with a lot of love. Even for me, as a vegetarian, there were many dishes and the large terrace offers a wonderful view of the Moselle. It should also be noted that we have never met such hospitable and courteous hosts as Afrim and Imra. Because of them, we returned to Zell again this year.

After a hike in the vineyards, we stopped here late this afternoon. We were warmly welcomed and the dogs were given water and later a treat. We ate and drank very well, everything was fresh, crunchy and super tasty... the service was very friendly and regularly asked about our wishes. We'll definitely be back!!

Excellent pizzeria in Zell an der Mosel. Delicious pizzas, other guests' dishes also looked very appetizing. When the weather is nice you can sit on the terrace with a view of the Moselle. Friendly service. For those with reduced mobility: The restaurant can only be reached via stairs from two sides.

Only ate a lasagna at noon. That was tasty. Contrary to many reviews, we did not really enjoy a warm and friendly welcome. It was basic German friendliness.

We walked in here on Saturday afternoon to make a reservation for that evening, they still had room on the terrace. It was a sunny day in early October, so it was nice to sit outside on the covered terrace with a view of the Moselle. Good atmosphere, a family business with very friendly service. The pizzas were tasty and well baked, we thought they were on the small side but generously topped so it was still a good portion. In addition to Italian, local German wines are also on the menu. A good glass of Zeller Schwarze Katz tastes great with pizza! :) Please note that you can only pay in cash here.

We were in Zell on October 3rd. Discovered the restaurant on the first day. The food, the service, the ambience are simply top. So great that we ate there the rest of the evenings. In this short period of time, we even built up really good contact with the junior manager. Food was extremely good. That's what you like to have. You feel comfortable, the employees are also highly motivated, open to all wishes and, above all, very attentive. We have planned our vacation in Koblenz next year. We will definitely take the 60km to eat with them again. Thank you for the wonderful time, evenings and the great food. See you soon

The food, ambience and service are really great. Children are included when ordering and we wait until the child is ready. (IF it doesn't take too long) what's not so nice is when you try to call and no one answers. But what the heck, the food is far too tasty 😋 to complain about it. I had to edit the first review again because it wasn't fair. But it took a long time to figure out how it works. My goodness... if I had known how, this would have happened right after. But I was able to correct my mistake.

After our disappointment at another local restaurant, we went to Dua (actually just for comparison). WHAT a difference!!! The waiter was friendly and told us we could sit wherever we wanted, nothing was reserved. The menu was handed out in a very friendly manner and the order was taken (I also had Frutti the Mare this time). The pizzas came very quickly. And they were great!!!! The dough was sensational, super well topped and this time my Frutti the Mare were also Frutti the Mare and not, like in the other one.... Frutti the Oglio!! THANK YOU for that!!! We went back the next day and had lasagna and spaghetti with spinach, mushrooms and cream sauce. My husband and I were thrilled. The staff was friendly again, even to the annoying people from Schwabeländchen, who found it great to loudly get on everyone else's nerves :-) Highly recommended!!!!! Mille grazie

No!! Where do the good reviews come from? The salad essentially consisted of just green leaf lettuce and tons of dressing. In between, a few olives, some tomatoes and two slices of cucumber appeared. Poor. The pizza rolls were completely tasteless. I would have expected more for the money. What should be highlighted is the friendly service and the beautiful terrace.

In the evening, after a very friendly welcome and a short wait, we got a table on the terrace with a fantastic view of the Moselle. The service from all employees was consistently very friendly and accommodating. The Quattro Stagione pizza and spaghetti with shrimps we ordered were extremely tasty and of very good quality and portion size. Absolutely perfect price/performance ratio. We had a very pleasant evening there and will definitely do it again.

We weren't that enthusiastic. The dining room was loud, the waiter was rather listless and the food was ok, but nothing more. The starter salad was fresh, but consisted almost exclusively of green salad with ready-made cocktail sauce. The quality of pasta and pizza was ok, but unambitious. Overall, we didn't get the feeling that any special effort was made to look after the guests.
