We went there on a whim and had a wonderful, perfectly baked pizza. The Italian beer was also delicious. The espresso afterwards rounded off the positive experience. Highly recommended!!

It's a lovely restaurant with very friendly service and excellent food. Reservations are definitely recommended, as it's located at the mouth of the Ryck (a river in Greifswald). However, parking spaces in the surrounding area are often full.

Yes, the food is very good. You can sit right by the river and watch the ships and boats pass by. They also serve excellent ice cream.

Service was quick. The food was delicious. We bravely sat outside in the wind... it was still quite chilly, but with a dog 🐕, it was unavoidable. 😀 We were given blankets. We'd love to come back.

In any case, we had excellent service. The food was superb.

Unfortunately, the hygiene leaves much to be desired. An employee didn't wash his hands after using the restroom ("a major issue"). When asked why he didn't do so, he replied, "In my house, I decide what I do!" I asked if I could speak to the owner, to which he replied, and I quote, "I'm almost the boss!" A female employee informed us that he was the boss's brother. Unfortunately, we were unable to speak to the owner personally because he wasn't present at the time. The service staff were very friendly, but the man's rude behavior and the unhygienic incidents must be reported!

We had the following experience today, August 11, 2025: A male kitchen employee was in the restroom (not a small business) and didn't wash his hands when leaving. When I asked the server about it, I was told, "I'll let the kitchen know." Afterward, the employee stood in the doorway several meters away from us, waving both arms provocatively and shouting from a distance what I wanted from him. When I told him he was welcome to come to the table, I explained, and he refused and reacted dismissively. Disgusting and rude, too. As we later learned, he's the brother of the boss there. It's a shame, really; the other employees were very friendly.

The food is fantastic, especially the pizza. It's absolutely great value for money. You can sit there with a fantastic view of the water. I highly recommend it!

Disappointing. In short: Fast and friendly service, bland food, seemed like reheated frozen food with no seasoning. The vegetables were okay. First, the good news. The restaurant is very nicely located. It was quiet, and parking is also convenient. We received quick and friendly service. Unfortunately, the food wasn't particularly tasty. My partner had pasta with Gorgonzola and spinach, and I had the zander fillet. With the zander, two-thirds of the plate was just decoration, i.e., salad and vegetables. So, unfortunately, the fillet was very small. However, the bigger problem was that it had hardly any texture and no flavor. It seemed like it had been taken out of the freezer and simply overcooked. The croquettes and vegetables (carrots and broccoli) were good. The salad on the plate, however, was not. It was very bitter, and the (sparingly used) dressing wasn't my cup of tea. The pasta wasn't any better: The Gorgonzola seemed so overcooked that you could only smell the cheese and not have any real flavor. The spinach also had a poor texture and was completely lacking in seasoning. Every dish seemed to have been quickly reheated and lacked any flavor. It was a disappointment and therefore not recommended. I hope we were just unlucky.

The service was friendly and courteous. The drinks and food arrived quickly and were quite good and plentiful. The view from the outdoor seating is fantastic. A definite recommendation.

I ate here twice with a group of school children. The food was delicious. The kids loved it. The service team was very patient and friendly. Thank you very much!

Dining by the water under a parasol is pleasant when you can block out the traffic. The food is perfect, with large, generous portions and a culinary taste to top it all off.

The atmosphere was nice (7/10), nothing special. The food was solid (5/10), but unfortunately nothing special. The service was unfortunately forgotten (4/10), even though we were sitting inside, and we weren't really taken seriously as customers, possibly due to our age. We had to wait about an hour. The friendly waitress canceled one of our drinks as compensation. However, we noticed that other tables were being offered bread to pass the time, and we weren't. Overall, it was okay if you're really hungry. It wouldn't be recommended for a generally pleasant night out.

The owners and their team know what they're doing, really friendly, super tasty, a must in Wieck.

A wonderful rump steak and homemade pasta. The number of bruschettas can be ordered individually. Pre-ordering, especially in the cold season, is highly recommended.

Visited the restaurant spontaneously, great atmosphere and great food. Price performance is a bit high but of good quality. Parking was 150m away and was very easy. There is a small deduction point for the waitress who should pay more attention to the guests, we needed several attempts to pay, which the waiter then took over.

This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. After the renovation it is a win for the guest.

Mal wieder enttäuscht worden. Haben reserviert...waren pünktlich angekommen und wie sollte es auch anders sein, unsere Reservierung war nicht im Buch eingetragen. Ein hin und her.... das Personal war überfordert. Wir sollten bei -2 Grad draussen warten...ganz ehrlich...nein danke. Sind sehr enttäuscht. Haben leider einen Gutschein, den wir wohl verfallen lassen müssen.

Without reservation, no chance! That says it all. Wonderful food, fresh, well prepared, taste simply 5*, I also like the ambience and the staff are absolutely accommodating, polite and that's exactly how I want it! Recommended with 5*plus!!!

Italian with a nice atmosphere in Wieck/Greifswald. Very nice staff. With a bit of luck we got the best table with a direct view of the old bridge without a reservation. Homemade pasta and pizza are very tasty.

Something different! We were here for New Year's Eve. Thank you, a thoroughly successful evening. A 4-course menu with a typical Italian focus was served. Very appetizingly prepared plates with great dishes. Visually and tastefully very successful. The portion sizes were plentiful. The atmosphere in the service team was also very pleasant. Many thanks to the whole team for this successful evening.

We dined here as a group after my daughter's burial at sea. Despite some adjustments to the number of people and the reservation time, everything went well. The staff was flexible and friendly. The food was served to everyone in a row, was hot and everyone was happy.

Today we had lunch at Il Ponte with 10 people for the first time after the successful redesign of the restaurant. We had reserved, everything was nicely prepared. The selection of food was, as always, good and there was also a “menu with specialties”. The individual portions were very tasty and everyone enjoyed them very much. (Grilled salmon, zander, plaice, roast rabbit, spaghetti with tomato sauce, filled dumplings)

Everything was perfect here. Friendly, quick and tasty. My husband was pleasantly surprised, his fried pike perch wasn't big but there were healthy, delicious side dishes (salad, green beans, broccoli AND warm beetroot - amazing) with fries. Everything was super delicious

Really good Italian cuisine, the word has gotten around: fully occupied tables in the evenings of the week. Service quick and friendly. Location with a view of the Ryck is ideal. Parking nearby, bus stop right next to the restaurant. Vitello Tonnato excellent: just the right amount of very good tuna sauce, refined with several anchovies and capers. Grilled salmon in cream sauce with red pepper prepared to perfection. It is a bit noisy due to the large windows and many guests.

The waiter was awesome, so nice and accommodating, despite being extremely stressful. The food was great, I ate mussels for two days straight. Sitting by the water in the evening, very romantic, a little light on the tables on this side would be great.

The Restaurante Il Ponte in Greiswald Wieck is a really great Italian restaurant, but the service here varies quite a bit, i.e. sometimes you are served very quickly and sometimes you are simply ignored for a long time. Apart from that, the food is really good.

We came from a little hike and just wanted to drink some water. However, that was the most expensive water we have ever drunk. And it tasted like tap water. That's why we unfortunately can't recommend it.
