We ordered pizza and have to say it's the best pizza in Greifswald. The value for money is truly incredible. Huge, large pizza with a great flavor. It arrived nice and warm, and special requests were accommodated. The dessert was delicious and exceptional. It's just a shame that the chocolate soufflé couldn't be ordered after 9 p.m. because the oven had already been turned off. And that's despite the restaurant being open until 11 p.m. The ambiance is very cozy, romantic, with a touch of a bar feel. Very nice. And the service is friendly, pleasant, and accommodating. We will definitely stop by again to savor this delicious experience.

The food was very, very delicious!!!!! But what was really great, and I have to say, was the service. A huge compliment to the young blonde woman with glasses! You can see that she loves and enjoys her work. Thank you, and I'd be happy to come back anytime 😊.

We had a wonderful spot outside for the two of us. We shared a pizza...each of us ordered half the toppings we wanted, along with a salad of the day, and it was all delicious. The waiters were all very friendly and attentive. We had a wonderful evening, thank you very much.

We went there twice because the food was incredibly good. The first time we saw the pizzas was after we had already ordered fresh pasta. They were absolutely delicious! And the pizzas are so big that we each only had half! They were also delicious!

We were a group of 7 adults and 2 children. A very attentive, young waiter served us. At around 6:30 p.m., we ordered: 6 pizzas and 1 pasta. Then we waited... and waited... and waited. Pizza after pizza was brought past our table. After an hour, we asked where our order was. The waiter wanted to clarify, came back after a while, said it wouldn't be long, was sorry, and offered us a Prosecco. We declined, but asked for pizza rolls for the children. Yes, he would bring them. Another 15 minutes passed—without pizza rolls—during which our frustration grew. We asked to speak to the restaurant manager. They came and explained to us now (after almost 1.5 hours of waiting!!) that a water pot was broken, and that there was a backlog in the pasta preparation... It would have been really helpful if we had received this information much, much earlier. Then the person who ordered pasta would have either explained that it was okay to get their food later or they could have changed their order. The highlight, however, came when a waiter (not ours, but another one) brought two bread baskets to the group at the next table, saying, "Everything's taking too long here. Here's a little something to pass the time." We were happy for the group at the next table to have it, but: they had ordered later than us, it was only adults, and we had asked for some bread for the children... Our food arrived around 8:30 p.m. The pizzas were delicious, the pasta quite al dente and not quite hot, but still tasty. Our request for a discount due to the deficiencies was declined, as such a thing wasn't provided for. What we would have liked: Clear and timely communication about the difficulties in the kitchen. Then we would have been able to influence the situation, and our impression would have been positive. This leaves a feeling of a lack of appreciation and understanding of the guests’ needs.

Better go somewhere else!! There were six of us, plus a child and a baby. After waiting for almost an hour, we were informed that there were problems in the kitchen, unfortunately much too late. Our request for some bread for the child (instead of the offered Prosecco) was ignored at all. The food didn't arrive for over 90 minutes, with no apology or consideration. Very disappointing – absolutely not recommended for families. Better go somewhere else!!

Very good food and great service!

The location and service were excellent, but the quality of the drinks and food had deteriorated considerably. The draft beer wasn't well chilled, the blackcurrant spritzer was barely carbonated, the insalata casa barely contained any tuna and was drowning in the dressing, and the spaghetti ice cream was a large lump with barely any vanilla flavor.

Terrible service The table service was friendly. The drinks arrived promptly. However, more than an hour and a half after ordering, we still had no food on the table. When we asked for at least some pizza bread for our three-year-old boy, nothing happened. We had already complained massively and were about to leave when the food finally arrived after more than an hour and a half. Mind you, it was all pizza and pasta. What really annoyed us was that in the meantime, the next table was given bread, oil, and balsamic vinegar with an apology for the delay. But this table had only been occupied after ours. There was no discount even when we asked, and no one wanted the offered Prosecco. It's a shame, it could have been a really nice evening, especially since the food was quite tasty.

Food is usually top-notch; however, ordering online only works sporadically or not at all

The atmosphere in the shop is very nice and fits the Italian theme. The food is good, but in my opinion, the menu could use some variety. The staff is friendly, but sometimes drinks take a while to arrive. Not every shop offers the opportunity to watch the pizza makers at work.

We ate there with eight people. The server was super nice and accommodating. The pizzas are huge and delicious. Everyone enjoyed the pasta, too, although the portions were a bit small for one person. For dessert, I definitely recommend the tiramisu. The ambiance is also very inviting.

A very stylishly decorated Italian restaurant in the heart of Greifswald. The service was superbly friendly and accommodating. They seemed to anticipate our every need. The quality and taste of the food were excellent. The pizza was huge and came fresh from the stone oven. Only the portion size of the lasagna was below average compared to the other dishes. We'd happily return again...

So far, I've only tried pizzas, and they were very tasty. The good thing is that you can order a large pizza with different toppings and have it served on two plates at once 😉 Makes sense, since they're over 40cm in diameter! Since the main part of the restaurant is in a kind of large hall (possibly part of the theater next door), it's not that cozy. However, there's also a bar in this part. Not necessarily suitable for older people without the stamina, as the chairs are mostly unpadded wooden. The service is very fast and friendly 😊 👍🏻

Simply delicious pizza and unexpectedly large – but quite thin and crispy, very good. Also one of the few restaurants in HGW that serves light beer, thank you very much. Sitting on the outdoor terrace in the summer is one of the best places in the city.

Simply huge... and not just the pizza! The impressive location alone, along with the excellent cuisine, is worth starting the evening or ending the day here. For me, after more than 30 years, it was a short break, reminding me of my acting days... and how "the old" has changed... The service was accurate and friendly, orders were quick and accurate, the food was direct and delicious. If there had been a smile and a friendly greeting from reception and when seating guests, it would have been a full score and a full star rating. "I will be back!"

We received a friendly welcome upon arrival at the restaurant. Very nice ambiance. Great location. Very friendly, attentive staff. Children's menu to color in. Starters were delicious and varied. Main courses were very, very tasty. Thank you for the food. We'll definitely be back.

Eight of us ate here on a Friday and were all very satisfied. The service was fast and very friendly, and we didn't have to wait for the food. I had a large, really large pizza 🍕 about 45 cm in diameter, which you can have half of it topped with one or half of the other. I haven't had such delicious pizza in a long time. So if you're ever in Greifswald, be sure to stop by.

It is indeed a very, very tasty pizza, there are also other dishes and the service is very respectful and very nice. The food and drink were brought very quickly. I can only recommend it to you 😀☺️

The food is very tasty. The service is friendly and the pizzas are huge. It can get a little louder in the evening. Otherwise everything is good. Definitely worth a visit. You can top the pizza halves in different ways. This is useful when you can't decide.

Italian restaurant in Greifswald with very delicious food, friendly waiters. The best are the macheronchini gorgonzola.

The pizzas are very large but very sparsely topped. At some point you feel like you only have dough in your mouth. The taste is also a bit flat in my opinion. However, chili oil can also be served upon request. I liked that. Ultimately, however, it is always very loud and somewhat tiring inside. The cola was really lukewarm and barely carbonated. I think L'Osteria is a bit overrated.

The combined appetizer plate was lovely as well as the salad. However, beware that the pizzas are quite big. They were tasty, but we couldn’t finish them.

Everything is very nice. The only thing that bothers me sometimes is that when you pick up food, the pizza is already cold when you get home because it is so thin. You then have to warm them up again. I think that's a shame.

Too bad😔 We recently went to eat at the Losteria. I was excited to tell my companion about the great atmosphere and the food. When we came in, we weren't greeted with a smile or even a friendly "Hello." The staff seemed uninterested and were more occupied with their cell phones. We were shown to a table when we were annoyed. Luckily there were two friendly employees who were very hard working and took their work seriously. Unfortunately, the pizza we ordered looked very bland and wasn't really warm either.

I LOVE this store. Everything is perfect, the food is excellent, the atmosphere is beautiful and the waiters are extremely courteous and friendly. I always enjoy visiting L’Osteria. My absolute favorite is the caprese pizza. Highly recommended!!! Also available for pickup.

The service was very attentive and friendly. The food, however, was a complete disaster. Bruschetta came cold, the bread was already dried out and hard, this was replaced upon request. The main course also came cold, the shrimp not cooked properly. The plate was warmed up again. The shrimp remained untouched except for a sample bite. This time it wasn't a pleasure. There was no concession either.

Best Italian restaurant in Germany ❤️. Delicious food, original Italian ingredients. The food simply transported me to Italy. Very nice service. I also received the dishes I ordered at an express pace. Everything fresh and delicious. Pasta Orecchiette di Manzo tender and creamy, Pizza Nduja calabrese huge. The lasagna is just right. I recommend them!!!

Mega large pizzas that were very tasty. Overall I can recommend it.

The next business trip, the next surprise. And a good one at that. An Italian restaurant on the edge of downtown Greifswald in a truly stately building. And although it is a really huge dining room, the clever layout of the room makes it feel very cozy and is not unpleasantly loud. But what am I talking about rooms, it's about food. And that was great. Lots of classics on the menu, had to do, fit. But also one or two small changes. A classic as a starter: Vitello Tonnato. Anyone who puts this neatly on the plate can't be a bad person. And it was great. The veal was as pink as a baby pig, the sauce wasn't overwhelmed by mayonnaise, the tuna was always present. Lots of capers included. Instant good mood. Only the huge amounts of arugula on top had to be discreetly pushed aside. Not bad at all but half would have been enough. Regardless, it was so tasty and a really decent portion. For the main course of pasta, I left the beaten path of the classics, there was orecchiette with strips of beef fillet, peppers in a mascarpone lemon cream. That was good. The beef was perfectly fried, roasted aromas, everything was there, the peppers still had a bite and weren't too dominant, but the cream was the best. I just like sauces and creams and all that slobbery stuff with a lot of flavor. And there was plenty of flavor. Surprising spiciness, acidity, creaminess alternated and really made your mouth full. Was that fun? But despite the mascarpone, it wasn't too powerful, it came across as light-footed, thanks to the reserved but ever-present lemon. On top is a mountain of arugula, see above. Leave it out, it's a weed, you don't need it, it's all so delicious. A little crunch would have hurt the book, roasted pine nuts would have been awesome, but that's almost outrageous whining at a high level. I was already full, but if you make me so happy with food, you have to give me a classic for dessert. Tiramisu is a logo. Definitely homemade. Good consistency, not too sweet, not too sloppy, lots of cocoa on top. Splendid. A lovely evening, why isn't this around the corner from my house? I don't like going on business trips, but I won't say no to Greifswald because now I know where I can get really good food for little money. Prices are super fair. And now something else that I don't usually pay as much attention to, the service. You can expect friendliness and attention and that was certainly the case. Perfect. But something else came along that you can't learn. Warmth. Thanks. It was bitterly cold and dingy outside, but the shop warmed body and soul.

Very tasty, we had pasta dishes which were all good. The pizzas at the next table also looked good and are huge. The waitress was very nice and the restaurant was nicely decorated. But it's a bit noisy because of the high ceilings, which takes away from the comfort.

Even one star is too much for this pizza👆 The pizza was far too big and hung a good 5 cm over the edge of the plate. But I like to eat from a plate and not on the table. What was worse, however, was that the whole topping was literally swimming in liquid, the taste was also bland (too little salt in the dough and sauce), there was no recognizable or tasteful cheese and even the salami was ultra-thin and almost tasteless. Conclusion: by far one of the worst pizzas I/we have ever eaten. The service was very nice and friendly, but unfortunately it didn't make the difference. We won't be coming back👎🏻.

Went there early without a reservation. Still got a table spontaneously. Usher OK table service very nice. Starter (Bruscetta) was good. The main course (pasta with vegetables and gorgonzola) was canteen: too hard, lukewarm and served on a platter instead of a deep plate... It's just a chain. Definitely order pizza! It is huge but sparsely occupied. No recommendation.

It's a wonderful restaurant. You can eat and drink well. The service is excellent. The price-performance ratio is very good. Highly recommended.

I ordered online. The food arrived almost 30 minutes earlier than it was supposed to. Which is nice, but also impractical if you just wanted to take a rest or are taking a power nap. Since I can't walk up stairs today because of my migraine, I called down to the delivery person and said that unfortunately I couldn't come to meet him. He was super annoyed by it, grumbled a dissatisfied comment, but then came up. I think it's unfair to me because I already have enough restrictions because I don't have to be judged and he can then let out his dissatisfaction in the car. The burrata is very small for the price and the tomatoes are a bit small in percentage terms, but still tasty and fresh. The tortellini were a little too salty and since the bag of cheese didn't say what it was, it was quite a mess when opening it. The pizza is good.

Food is always great! The service is also great! But the space is sometimes difficult, when there's a lot going on it's just like being at a train station. Very loud and you have to speak to the other person very loudly in order to understand each other. That's always a shame because I usually like to go there because of the good food, but I can't always stand the noise.

Was there around 1 p.m. The employees are very friendly and the food came quickly. Pizza was surprisingly large at 45cm, so it's better not to have eaten a fish sandwich beforehand. The pizza reminded me a bit of frozen pizza, but I can't tell if it was freshly made. But it tasted good, but there are definitely better ones. If you have a seat in the bar area, it is very restless, even if there were few people there. But there was another area, behind the bar, so to speak, where it was probably more pleasant. But all in all it was nice.

The pizza was a little bland. I put a little salt on it. But it wasn't a broken leg. That's why it's still full 🌟 because the salad with goat cheese was extremely tasty.

Pizza not recommended. The dough is not baked through. Covering not really noticeable. More than half of the pizza was returned. Costs not calculated. Mineral water not charged as compensation. Guest room extremely loud. Chairs uncomfortable. No ventilation available. Despite ventilation, clothes smell like food for days. This loader has nothing to do with a pizzeria.

Die Pizza ist nicht zu empfehlen. Der Teig ist nicht durchgebacken. Der Belag nicht zu verifizieren. Maßnahme wäre die Größe verkleinern, Qualität verbessern. Raumluft ist schlecht. Keine Abluft im Gastraum. Die Kleidung muß nach dem Besuch mehrtägig gelüftet werden.

Crazy, the size of the pizza. Here there should be a note directly above the pizzas showing how big the pizza is. It's too small at the top left. The pizza was really tasty but not manageable. The ambience is okay but unfortunately much too loud. Conversation is hardly possible. Too bad. But the service staff are very friendly.

Be sure to visit outside in the summer. I really liked it. Food too, of course.

As always, the food was very good and filling. Nobody in our group remained hungry. But I have to particularly highlight Igor, whose service topped everything again this evening. Rarely have I met someone as nice, courteous, eloquent and careful as him, who also has as much fun at his job as he does.

Huge pizzas at a fair price and nice staff

Ordered last night. My partner a salad, I a pizza. I didn't quite finish my pizza and had stomach cramps and indigestion during the night. Everything was fine with my partner until he ate my pizza - he has had the same problems ever since. It's a shame about all the money.

None of this has anything to do with Italy: Spaghetti Carbonara with cream is a "no-go", instead of the better (and more expensive) Parmesan there is cheap Grana Padano etc. etc.; the lasagna was way too small and the pizza way too big. Whoever thought that up didn't think it through... Even McDonald's (IT) has real Parmesan. The pseudo-Italian lessons in the toilet are annoying. Note on the expected response from the “restaurant”: Answer the criticism individually (without sentence modules) objectively. Tell me why you can't even cook carbonara properly. Say why you use cheap products. Well, since you don't answer, I'll give the answer: Profit maximization is the magic word. And no, I haven't found my favorite Italian yet. By the way, with this sentence component you are suggesting that you are "Italian", which is also a misnomer.

Large pizzas without much taste. Visually they look relatively appealing, but not much sticks in terms of taste. Unfortunately, the tomato sauce tastes relatively neutral and you can taste relatively little of the cheese. In addition, the pizzas are not exactly filled with toppings. The portion of extra cheese meets the expectations of a normal pizza. The grilled vegetables tasted okay, but the quantity was not worth mentioning. I expect a little more from an additional charge of €3 for grilled vegetables. Unfortunately, this pizzeria doesn't convince us either. Too bad.
