Ristorante Gelateria La Strada in Berlin

We spontaneously stopped by on Saturday… on the last wonderful sunny day of the year, and enjoyed some delicious ice cream… 👍 We topped it off with a delicious slice of cheesecake… Even though it was very busy, the service was great… 👍😊

We had asked over the phone for a seat on the terrace. Upon arrival, we were free to choose our own spot. After we'd already had our drinks and were deep in conversation, we were cheekily asked, not very kindly, to take the small table in the corner so that another group with more people could sit there, who were then served much more friendly and attentively. Really disappointing, but the food was okay 👌🏻 nothing against the kitchen. We also pointed out that the table was wobbling the whole time, and were jokingly told to please put something under the table. The table is just old. The fact that something like that works in a restaurant is truly horrible 😫

I highly recommend spending a wonderful afternoon there with a coffee and a delicious ice cream sundae. 🤩

Overpriced and quite unfriendly

I only tried a small slice, but it was the best pizza I've ever eaten in 50 years. The ice cream also looked excellent. It's a shame it's so far from Woltersdorf at the lock.

A large selection of Italian specialties. The price/performance ratio is right. The servers are all very attentive and friendly. The winter garden allows you to sit outside even in bad weather. However, it feels a bit bare, with the white curtains and minimal decor. Highly recommended: the ice cream parlor next door.

I actually had planned to give this restaurant another chance in the near future and try a different dish, after my previous less-than-stellar experience. Unfortunately, the owner of this restaurant prefers to have honest and discerning customer reviews deleted from Google under the accusation of "defamation." This is true even several years later, after over 1,000 people have seen this review and rated it positively. I was able to prove I visited and advise anyone who wants to leave critical reviews here to also keep this evidence, whether it's a receipt or a card payment receipt. Despite my experience at the restaurant, I was a frequent guest at the associated ice cream parlor. I will refrain from doing that now. My neighbor's comment years ago that the staff, according to their own statements, weren't allowed to keep tips anyway should have been enough, but it was delicious...

We stopped here for a coffee break. The ice cream sundaes are divine.

We usually like going here. Today, however, the service was very unfriendly. A somewhat corpulent gentleman with glasses didn't say hello or goodbye, didn't smile, simply showed no emotion. We casually noticed that another family was having problems with him as well. The waiter (thin, I think he was bald) who took our order was very nice and always had a nice saying ready. Unfortunately, no one came out to pay. When I went in, there were three waiters standing at the counter chatting. They then asked me if everything was okay, and I answered "so far, yes," and another waiter replied, "except for the service," and left. That's just unacceptable, because we hadn't complained up to that point, because everyone has a bad day sometimes. After I paid, none of the three waiters even said goodbye. LA STRADA, we're used to something different from you, especially when you greet us with a friendly smile.

Food was good, service was good, but it was too cold there

Saturday was busy, three waiters were extremely busy. Farmer's breakfast good and tasty. Calf liver? Or “onion meat”? The liver (4 small pieces approx. 4x4cm) were hidden under a mountain of onions. This meant that the price of €21 was not justified.

One hour wait after ordering food. Food is cold, the term medium means shoe sole. Deer goulash is delicious and of course also cold.

The rocket for the bruschetta was dried out. The preparation of the food was also mediocre. Italy and ice cream are great, but unfortunately not quite so here. There is something that can be improved here.

On September 14th, 2024 we ordered via Lieferando. Unfortunately, the Pizza Tonno was lukewarm, the pasta was completely overcooked, and there was another sauce on top instead of the lemon sauce. Instead of the shrimps/prawns there were mini crabs, these were either fried or steamed and looked rather raw/glassy. A big disappointment. The Bambini Schnitzel was positive, it was quite large.

Solid restaurant. However, the dishes or their preparation do not stand out from comparable restaurants. Unfortunately there is no reason to come back. Prices are at least reasonable, if not cheap. Since we were there for a birthday and almost everyone ordered something different, we had a good overview of the respective dishes. The staff is attentive and very friendly. Our opinion, if you are nearby you can visit la strada, but you don't have to.

We chose the zucchini soup with croutons and chanterelles for €6.90. Too mildly seasoned - no problem, you can change it. The croutons were 4 small, untoasted pieces of a slice of white bread. And chanterelles were only 2 pieces each (medium sized). This is also how you can make a profit. The dessert - mango ice cream and lime basil ice cream was lovingly prepared and tasted very good.

Reserved for 8 people at short notice on August 3rd, 2024 and we were not disappointed. The food was plentiful and tasty. The service was nice and quick. We had a lot of fun, especially with Adome. Don't forget the delicious ice cream at the end, as always delicious. Keep it up!!

Went to La Strada again today after months...unfortunately pure disappointment. The waiter was absolutely unfriendly and unprofessional. Communication was difficult... so unfortunately he didn't understand us, was at the table several times and then loudly blamed us for it. Unpleasant situation and we were actually already on the way out. But we had already ordered. Unfortunately, the wrong order came and thanks to the professional nature of the waiter, no one dared to say anything. In addition, the food was absolutely inedible and we had the feeling that we had ordered a pepper pot. I have to admit that there were hardly any tips today, which was something that people were loudly upset about (but I'm not willing to tip for bad service, sorry) That was definitely the last time! Wish the store all the best!

I do not know where to start. We went there spontaneously and wanted to eat carbonara and ice cream sundaes. At the beginning we were asked by a very unfriendly waiter whether we wanted the menu or the ice cream menu. "Both please." We only got the menu. After 15 minutes we asked again for the ice cream menu, after a stupid answer we got it, other guests took it themselves and were also insulted. We then ordered carbonara and cherry sundae. We got: A lukewarm pepper carbonara, you didn't see the sauce (cream sauce and shoulder of ham, by the way, that alone is a crime). The ice cream sundae came too, but not cherry, no, but coconut. In what world does that sound similar? Last but not least, a tip was clearly audibly asked for by everyone (what audacity - what service should you tip for here????) and when we chose 10% the waiter said loudly: "ONLY €1.20??! !" Incomprehensible. NEVER. AGAIN. I hope this review helps you...

Traditional pizzeria with a great ice cream parlor. Recommendation!

We met here for Grandma's birthday.. Food was very good.. I was thrilled with the tuna steak.. I would order again immediately.. Service was very warm..

We come here sporadically to end the evening comfortably, as you can also spend time outside here. The food has been good so far. The attentiveness and friendliness of the waiters leave something to be desired, they walk past even if the glasses have been empty for a while. What was noticed negatively, for example: B. a motorcycle can drive on the sidewalk directly in front of the fence and entrance "including EXHAUST GASES". Unacceptable for guests who sit and eat there. But it's "not bad at all" if you are greeted lovingly by the waiters. When it comes to tipping, not every guest has a big wallet and has to do the math, but these guests also contribute to maintaining their job. Therefore, please also have a friendly face if there is less tip and still say goodbye nicely, then we will be happy to come back without having to feel guilty.

Hier, in der Außenanlage und bei schönem Wetter, ist es sehr gemütlich. Wir haben nach dem Tanzen den Abend ausklingen lassen. Der Kellner war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir haben Bruscetta gegessen, was sehr nett angerichtet war und auch sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Die Preise sind angemessen. Zusammen mit dem Gruss aus der Küche war alles für uns sehr reichlich. Wir können das Restaurant empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

We like to eat here. The service is great, courteous, friendly and always has a great saying on your lips. The food tastes good. Unfortunately the food was a disappointment. Asparagus cream soup with no taste, the bruschetta was too salty, the pike-perch fillet was really dry, the asparagus had been in the water for a long time, lasagna worked like that. Good as an ice cream shop, ice cream is delicious, but we won't go there for dinner anymore.

The portions are such that you can easily eat something afterwards. In addition, it comes without any “decoration”, which leaves the few side dishes rolling around on the plate rather lost. The waiter also repeatedly bumped into our table and chairs. But he didn't care and we just kept wiping up the spilled drinks because we didn't want to make the whole thing any more unpleasant for the money. But it tasted ok.

We ordered pizza *La Strada* and lasagne... In the end, the pizza was okay, but the lasagna was a bit disappointing... Delivery time was within reason - but the pizza box was slightly open on the side... that shouldn't happen...!!! And I don't know whether the food only arrived lukewarm due to the weather... We'll get another impression on site...

I have preferred Spaghetti Olio for many years. Large portion that will fill you up even if you are very hungry. Good service from qualified staff. Price-performance ratio is right.

Super privat geführtes Restaurant. Super Personal, inclusive Betreuung durch Eigentümer. Eisladen hammermäßig, besonders die Auswahl und wie immer das Personal.

Tadellose Nudelgerichte, gute Weine, Tiramisu comme il faut. Dazu ein aufmerksamer Service. Und das Ganze zum angemessenen Preis. Empfehlenswert!

Sie haben nette saisonale Gerichte und ein schönes Ambiente. Wir kommen hier für Veranstaltungen mit kleinen Gruppen her in einen extra Raum, das klappt immer super und das Essen schmeckt allen. Ich kann die Vorspeisenplatte und die saisonalen Entengerichte empfehlen.

Angenehmes Ambiente. Auch bei vollem Laden und Streß blieb die flinke Bedienung immer lustig und nett. Das Essen war immer reichhaltig, schmackhaft, aber nicht unbedingt eine besondere Offenbarung. Grund solide Gerichte. Dafür aber etwas teuer. Man muss es halt in der Summe mögen... Kann man aber schon empfehlen.

Hallo liebe Leser, ich möchte Euch heute mit in das Restaurant La Strada nehmen. Von aussen und von der Lage sieht das Restaurant sehr unscheinbar aus und ich weiss nicht ob ich so dort angehalten hätte um zu essen. Nun, da ich von Arbeitskollegen erfahren habe dass das Eis dort sehr lecker ist, habe ich mir gedacht komm wir gehen hier mal essen. Das Eis ist absolut zu empfehlen und auch die Vielfalt und der Geschmack sind einfach nicht zu übertreffen. Der Empfang und Service sind herzlich, warum und man fühlt sich sehr willkommen als wäre man ein Stammgast. Die Speisekarte lässt keine Wünsche offen und es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Es beginnt mit einem Gruß aus der Küche was eigentlich schon eine Vorspeise wäre. Die Qualität und das Essen sind sehr hochwertig und absolut im Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Also..... Viel Spaß im La Strada

La Strada in Biesdorf Der Laden ist seit Jahren bekannt und wird regelmäßig besucht. Dieses mal gab es es Pizza, Nudeln und eine Vorspeise. Abgesehen davon dass die Preise anscheinend angestiegen sind, war das Essen wirklich nicht gut. Warum sind in Nudeln Frühlingszwiebeln? Leider auch sehr ölig und einfach nicht geschmackvoll. Es gab definitiv schon mal besseres Essen das serviert wurde. Schade vielleicht zu einem anderen Zeitpunkt.

Wir waren heute zum Anlass eines 70. Geburtstag hier. Wir waren sehr vom Sevice angetan. Wir kommen nur selten her, da wir aus Charlottenburg kommen.

Die Nudeln waren für mich zu sehr al dente, aber insgesamt war der Geschmack sehr gut. Das Personal ist trotz zahlreicher Gäste freundlich und aufmerksam. Man sitzt relativ eng beieinander und es wirkt etwas "altbacken" (Innenbereich). Trotzdem fühlt man sich als Gast wohl und sicherlich kommen wir auch gern wieder.

Der Laden ist grundsätzlich nicht schlecht. Ein moderner Italiener, der uns vom Ambiente nicht gefesselt hat. Zu dunkel, zu steril und irgendwie nicht gemütlich. Zum Essen. Es gab einen Gruß aus der Küche in Form von Brot mit Oliven und Schafskäse. Sah gut aus, das Brot war uns etwas zu keksig. Ich hatte eine Carbonara, die maximal mittelmäßig war. Es war schon mal gut, dass die zu harten Nudeln nicht in Sahnesoße ertrunken sind, aber die Soße hatte einfach zu wenig Konsistenz und blieb nicht an den Nudeln. Ich muss dazu sagen, dass ich ein Deutschland noch nie eine gute Carbonara gegessen habe. Das Carpaccio erinnerte sehr stark an die TK Blockhouse Versionen. Die sind toll, keine Frage! Wollte nur den Vergleich bringen. Einen weiteren gibt es bei der Pizza. Kennt ihr diese viereckigen Pizzastücken von damals auf dem Pappteller to go? Genauso schmeckt die Salamipizza. Erinnerte mich stark an die Jugend. Alles okay, aber kein Reißer. Die Preise sind dafür auch viel zu hoch, finde ich. Der Service war gut. Gab es nichts zu beanstanden. Versuch war es wert, jedoch gibt es einfach bessere Alternativen.

Das Essen ist sehr gut. Auch die Preise halten sich im Rahmen. Zu empfehlen ist auch das Eisangebot. Im Sommer ist das breite Eissortiment für den Strassenverkauf eine tolle Sache.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Es ist gemütlich und unsere bestellten Getränke und Essen waren wirklich Klasse! Zudem eine außerordentlich freundliche Fachkraft die uns wunderbar versorgte. Vielen Dank, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Bedienung war Top. Auf die Essenbestellung mussten wir eine Stunde warten. Der Teller war sehr übersichtlich gestaltet.

Sehr netter und freundlicher Service. Das Essen war lecker und auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt definitiv. Hier fühlte man sich schon nach der Begrüßung wohl.

Die Pizza war nicht wirklich warm als sie serviert wurde. Der Salat mit Hähnchenstreifen bestand hauptsächlich aus Eisbergsalat. Für über 12 Euro etwas mager...Vorneweg für jeden 3 Oliven und drei kleine Stücke Schafskäse. Zum Bezahlen immerhin für jeden einen Gratisdrink.

Reichhaltiges Angebot, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Zur frühen Kaffeezeit wurde es sehr voll. Und da eine Tafel von Ü70 gebucht wurde, war es seeehr laut. Sicher, wir werden alle älter. Aber trotzdem kann man auf andere Gäste Rücksicht nehmen.

Essen war Gut, nur zu wenig und für mein Gefühl zu Teuer für die Menge. Sauberes und epflegtes lokal.

Das Umfeld ist super entspannt und ruhig. Die Kellner sind super angenehm und immer für einen Spaß zu haben. Das Essen ist auch völlig okay und die Vielfalt an Eis ist absolut genial.
