Great, classic Italian. The pizza and bruschetta were huge and tasted very good. The ambience and service were great! Prices are also okay for the location. Would come again

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere felt unwelcoming, and the staff’s behavior was unprofessional. Unfortunately, they were not friendly or attentive when taking our order. On top of that, the food quality was poor – it was excessively oily and far below expectations. Additionally, the restaurant did not live up to the standards of an authentic Italian dining experience. Overall, it was an unsatisfactory visit.

Four of us were there spontaneously and had a lovely evening. The food was of a good standard, the service was friendly and we liked the ambience - only the TV could be left out. My pizza was okay, although I would have traded the considerable size for more flavor. If you are looking for an Italian restaurant near the Friedrichstrasse station, you can stop in without hesitation. (11/2024)

Authentic Italian vibe and menu. Homemade gnocchi are huge and soft and the bruschetta has a nutty, herby flavor that made it memorable. Lovely wine selection and the complimentary limoncello at the end of the meal was A+. Our server was kind and attentive.

The food was good and the restaurant is cozy, but our experience was average. They charged us €14 for two bottles of water, which seemed excessive to me. Then the waiter demanded that we pay the tip separately, about €10.

Very delicious food and they serve it very quickly, the quantity is abundant and the place is very quiet and well decorated which makes it very pleasant, the waiter is incredible, he pays attention to everything, when you don't have a drink in your glass he serves you without asking for it. The waiter didn't mention that they serve horse-sised dishes, so me and my friend who ordered one pizza for both and a pasta each had to literally die in front of a full table of good food. In the end pizza wasn't even toched

We were looking for a place to eat, went in and were not mistaken. Very nice place. Prices are reasonable. The food is served quickly, but most importantly, the portions are simply huge! Everything was very tasty for 5* The waiter is a very nice and helpful person. I recommend it. When we are in Berlin we will definitely visit this place again.

My team and I had a very nice evening as a small Christmas party. The service was excellent but not intrusive. The atmosphere was absolutely great because you were right in the middle of it all and could also watch the kitchen. The pizzas are huge, the pasta dishes are also decent portions but the absolute highlight was the rack of lamb with a parmesan crust - a dream 🥰🤩 It was my first visit but definitely not my last 😀 I love coming for a delicious Aperol spritz and of course for a delicious meal again. Authentic team, great food and friendly boss. Top recommendation!!!

Small, cozy place. My pasta dish wasn't outstanding, but it was tasty. The service was polite and professional, and the speed of service was OK, even though it was full. It's a shame that you can't order any pasta dish with the homemade pasta, but just a few special dishes - I would have gladly paid €5 more for my dish, if I had got the same with homemade pasta.

The worst and unpleasant restaurant. Bad reception and certainly racist. I waited over 15 minutes to be able to place an order that I never did because I was ignored by the servers. Some customers were even embarrassed on my behalf given their behavior. Other customers who came after me were taken care of. In short, I left this place preserving my honor. I don't advise.

I had one of the worst experiences / service in Berlin. - blazingly slow! - even after we finished, it took 15 mins for him to finally come to our table - pizza for lunch was 12.95 - he said 13 and on top of it without consent he even added 2.5 euros tips. We were quite shocked - drinks super expensive- a small glass of sparkling water costed 4.5 euros I would avoid this place , if we can. There are a ton on good places around .

The restaurant is on a side street off Friedrichstrasse and we came here by chance. Since we didn't reserve a table and it was quite full, a table was quickly prepared. The service was quick and attentive, the food was delicious and worth every euro.

Bij een tripje Berlijn mag een heerlijk diner bij Bella Vita niet ontbreken. Wij zijn dol op de lamsrack in rode wijnsaus maar ook de pasta Arriabbiata met scampi valt altijd in de smaak. Wij worden altijd zeer vriendelijk bediend en bij complimenten voor de chef komt die ook lachend even een praatje maken. Wij voelen ons een welkome gast. Dus tot ziens, we komen weer terug.

The food was very good and the service was initially okay. Everything was fine until we paid. Unfortunately, we made the mistake of tipping too little for Berlin standards. Then the mood changed and we realized our mistake. The waiter (an older, tall man) angrily threw the sum we had rounded up as a tip onto the table, saying that he had to give something to the kitchen and muttered something to himself. What I didn't understand. Unfortunately, when he gave it out, he miscalculated something to his disadvantage (€0.10), which he claimed just under a minute later. I was very surprised and taken aback by such behavior, which is why I didn't ask for another conversation where he could explain the mistake to me. Only in retrospect was I able to make sense of his behavior. My partner, her child and a good friend (from Berlin) were also very shocked by this behavior. In retrospect, I understood the reaction to mean that the tip wasn't enough for him and that he had to give some of the little money to his colleagues (in the kitchen, who really did a good job). And then he would rather have nothing and therefore wouldn't have any work sharing afterwards. I find that very uncollegial since he refused to tip other colleagues. It's a shame that such behavior still exists in the catering industry. So here in this restaurant it seems that only people who leave really big tips are welcome. It may be that the tips here are immensely higher than in the Westerwald, but it's not fair to show that to the guests who come to see our capital. Too bad, I'm disappointed. Unfortunately I can't recommend this locally due to this behavior.

Do avoid at all costs! The tomato soup of the day was OK. But the spaghetti bolognaise and cannelloni were bland and too expensive. Then a rude waiter imposing a 10% tip. And then 1 hour later upset stomach and intestins. I'm sure it's because of their food, didn't ate anything else before during the day.

A) The worst food ever. We ordered to the waiter ( probably owner) tayatales salmon, but he brought a wrong plate. When ask him, He lied that it was supposed to be the right plate. He was rude. He lied, and at the end of the night, after confrontation for the bill,he admitted that he did not have tayateles. B) The waiter, who is probably the owner, steal the people. He has other prices on menu for drinks, and other on reseived when you pay. We ordered 2 amareto, 5€ each one on menu, and he put 9€ each one on reseived. C) FINALLY our bill was 91€. We gived him 100€, and he didin't want to give us the change. He sayed that the change are tips for him. He is Steal the people. The worst restaurant i have ever been.

Thank you Bella Vita, grazie mille! The food was copious and comforting, the terasse was calm and beautiful, and the pricing was reasonable for the area. But most of all, i give 5-star because i was very touched by the kind service and care of the waiter (it was his shift on wednesday 7th August, around 1PM). I shared the meal with my soulmate and my son (a little puppy), who were also treated with great care and my son never had a better treatment in a restaurant ever. Thank you Bella Vita, for being great, loving animals, and most of all, for this yummy and warm moment that I will not forget. Prego! ❤️

Very nice restaurant, nice service, nice interaction not only with guests but also with colleagues. We were there for lunch today, the pizza was homemade, the pasta was homemade, everything was fresh and very large portions. Disadvantage but no point deducted - we missed the time slot and couldn't get a table outside so it's best to order a table at peak time. Thanks to the entire team for the great food and the hearty lunch.

When I asked the waiter if I could split the payment between cash and card he laughed at my face and said no. When I paid he didn’t even say thank you. I didn’t get his name but that was today around 15 min ago. The pizza also wasn’t great at all, and very expensive for what it is. Avoid this place there are so many good quality restaurants around where you can eat so much better and with a better service!

The Italian waiter was extremely service oriented, and made us feel welcome. A little confusing with several menus for lunch. However, not important. Great quality food. Nice clean restroom. Restaurant to be avoided at all costs! Unpleasant waiters, they forced us to pay for 2 bottles of water when we had asked for a free carafe of water. PLUS the pasta was borderline tasteless - I got food poisoning! A restaurant in Berlin that should not be approached! Really bad for Berliners and tourists!

Extremely unfriendly service. We wanted to only have dessert and drinks. The waiter said it’s usually only for dining, but still offered a table. Then he showed us the cold shoulder. We waited for 20 mins and he walked past us constantly without looking at my wife and me. Then we left disappointed as we didn’t want to risk him spitting in our drinks. Very poor experience.

Beautiful Italian restaurant just off the main road. Food and coffee were fantastic. About three minutes from the train station and if traveling - about ten minutes from the Brandenburg Gate site.

Food was ok but with 3 guests there was a 15 minute wait for a beer, unfriendly staff, card payment starts at 15 euros, it says mini-pressed on some card but no one is told in advance. In summary, I will never go there again, even as a tourist I would rather look for another shop

We were shocked by the price of the desserts. They were not indicated on the menu or on the window and they charged us €11.90 for a kind of "Russian-style" millefeuille and 7.50 for a slice of lemon cake. The cakes are not made on site but purchased somewhere. The rest of the lunch was nothing special. For what is offered, too expensive

We ate in this restaurant for the first and last time! After the inexpensive lasagna and cannelloni, we also ordered 2 pieces of cake. The waiter didn't speak German and mumbled something like Mille Foglie was Russian... First of all, it wasn't a Mille Foglie. Secondly, the price of, say, €11.90 appeared on the bill!! Another piece of lemon cake also cost €7.90! When we asked why the price wasn't posted, the waiter could only mumble that they get it from their Russian partners! Which partners and where the cake comes from was not explained to us either! Upon our request to speak to the manager, we were sent to...the head chef! We got the impression that things were not going well there and that there were some sort of machinations going on there. Under NO WAY do I recommend going there. You will only be lied to there and hopefully not poisoned!!

Nice atmosphere, but after we four nice women decided only on coffee and beer, the waiter became so unfriendly because we probably didn't make enough sales. Other new guests who wanted to sit outside were informed that the tables were only intended for guests who also wanted to eat...impossible and very unfriendly.

I've been to Bella Vita a few times when I was in Berlin. I was pleasantly surprised every time. The pizza is huge and the pasta was also very tasty. I think it's understandable given the situation that people want to occupy the places as effectively as possible, but it has never bothered or affected us.

We had dinner in this restaurant for two evenings, our children fell in love with pizza and pasta with ragù, Italian food that makes you feel at home, we were welcomed and pampered by Gaetano, endowed with rare grace and kindness

We passed Bella Vita by chance and sat down at one of the outside tables. The service was quick and professional. The Ortolana and Romana pizzas tasted excellent and were very large. So big that I thought to myself who should eat it. The Merlot was tasty, but was definitely too warm. We found the prices to be moderate, especially considering the location and the sometimes illustrious company. You sometimes stumble across celebrities from Gala and the like. Good, friendly and definitely recommended.

Horrible waiter and terrible service. We came with a child and ordered pizza and sat inside. At the end, after taking the order, after serving and after paying, the waiter came up and said that we should no longer be here and that we could only order pizza inside the establishment and pizza only to take away. Well, if this is so, then do not accept the order and write such wild and boorish rules on the menu. This is terrible service and just an uncivil attitude towards visitors.

Our visit to the "Bella Vita" restaurant was deeply disappointing. As soon as we arrived, the waiter, an older man with gray hair, clearly showed disinterest and unwillingness to serve us. When he saw us with a stroller, he pointedly rolled his eyes and reluctantly greeted us. Despite our polite request for a high chair for our toddlers, we were denied one. The situation got worse when we tried to order a large pizza. The waiter mumbled incomprehensibly to himself and then explained in no uncertain terms that he didn't want to accept such a "small" order because it wasn't worth it to him. He asked us to leave the restaurant, which we did without further discussion. This experience was not only frustrating but also humbling. We can't judge the food, but the disrespectful service alone is reason enough not to recommend this restaurant to anyone. Berlin is full of hospitable places that are worth visiting - "Bella Vita" is definitely not one of them.

Everything was just perfect! Above all, the service was extremely accommodating and especially to dogs! I would eat there again at any time! A really nice ambience and high quality food! All thumbs up!

Not a real highlight, there are much better stores in Berlin where the overall concept is much more correct. The food was OK, but unfortunately the service was not. After eating you have the feeling that you should pay quickly and make room for the next guests. Perhaps this is also the reason why glasses that are almost half full are simply cleared away.

Staff nice and accommodating. Pizza delicious with a diameter of approx. 40 cm. But the salad was bland and not good at all. Canned tuna on lettuce leaves, radiccio and rocket. Lovelessly garnished with olives, cucumber and feta cheese. Arugula with long hard stems. The dressing couldn't make the salad any better. Well then - the pizza made it a little more positive

We are 2 seventeen year olds and wanted to go out for Italian food. Next was this restaurant. From the submission and the price, everything went well. But the service was extremely rude. When we wanted to pay, this sentence came: “Make it quick” even though we had just received the bill. Everyone else got olives and the cards were just thrown at us (literally)! When we gave him a tip, he didn't even say a THANK YOU. It was probably because we weren't as wealthy as other guests. Food was acceptable, but wasn't worth anything after the performance.

Zwei Schülerinen (16) wollen sich im Ristorante Bella Vita eine Pizza teilen. Für den Servicemitarbeiter ein so schlechtes Geschäft, dass er beide hinauskomplimentieren wollte. Bella Vita nur für zahlungskräftige Kundschaft! Beharrlich blieben beide sitzen und baten dennoch, etwas essen zu können. Sie bekamen einige Minuten zum Essen, mussten dann aber raus. Trinkgeld wurde einbehalten („habe kein Wechselgeld“ (70 Cent)), obwohl sie keines geben wollten - wegen schlechtem Service und selbst wenig Geld. Selbstverständlich muss ein Restaurant profitabel sein muss und effizient arbeiten. Einen Gast, den Kunden, selbst wenn jung und mit wenig Geld ausgestattet, sollte man gleichwohl immer gerne und freundlich bedienen. Sie könnten ja mit der Familie zurückkommen. Wir als Eltern tun das nicht. Die beiden 16jährigen kommen auch nicht wieder.

Two 16-year-olds want to share a pizza at Ristorante Bella Vita with money they earned themselves. It was such a bad deal for the service employee that he wanted to throw both of them out. Bella Vita only for wealthy customers! Both of them stubbornly remained seated and still asked to eat something. They were given a few minutes to eat, but then had to leave. Tips were kept (“I don't have any change” (70 cents)), even though they didn't want to give any - because of poor service and little money themselves. I understand that a restaurant needs to be profitable and work efficiently. You should always be happy and friendly to serve a guest, even if you are young and have little money. You could come back with the family. We as parents don't do that. The two 16 year olds aren't coming back either.

A highly recommended place for Italian food with homemade pizza, quiet to take advantage of a break when visiting Berlin, I liked it!!!

Dachte zuerst oha 19 euro für eine Pizza aber die größe der Pizzen und der Geschmack waren es definitiv wert. Auch der Salat einfach mega gut. Gerne wieder

Restaurante italiano en pleno centro de Berlín. El servicio y local correctos. Pedimos un calzone y una pasta simple, ambos estaban bastante normales para nuestro gusto. Destaco que el agua cuesta 8€, lo que me parece excesivo hasta para Berlín.

Spontanes Abendessen. Kellner durchweg freundlich. Guter Aperol und wirklich seeehr große Pizzen in guter Qualität. Im Nachhinein hätte man sich eine geteilt. Belag wird nach Wunsch angepasst. Habe die Reste mitgenommen und noch am nächsten Tag genossen. Preislich für die Portion und Lage angemessen.

Ich habe über Lieferando das Essen von Bella Vita bestellt. Die Nudeln waren so dermaßen zerkocht, dass es ungenießbar war. Das Huhn zum Teil nicht durch ( Nudeln in Sahnesoße mit Huhn). Die Soße eine blasse geschmacklose Pampe. Außerdem hatte ich XXL bestellt und es kam eine normale Portion. Ich habe das Essen weggeschmissen. Ungenießbar.

Sehr leckere Pizzen und nach Auskunft der Kollegen auch sehr leckere Nudelgerichte. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, schnell und freundlich.

Also die ersten 5 x als ich dort essen war habe ich dich die besten Pizzen gegessen. Manche sagen jetzt wahrscheinlich das 20€ für eine Pizza zu teuer ist aber was erwartet Mann, das das eine Imbiss Bude um die Ecke vom U Bahn Hof Alexander Platz oder was wo Mann eine Pizza für 8 € kriegt. Das ist ein feines Restaurant und da muss Mann halt auch mal mit einer größeren Summe rechnen Basta. Aber jetzt fragen sich natürlich manche dann wieso nur 4 Sterne , ganz einfach. Meine Eltern waren da so vor 2-3 Monaten da wegen Geschäfts essen und Freundes essen und so und waren da sehr unzufrieden aber da ich es mit eigenen Augen sehen wollte schaffte ich es vor 5 Tagen meine Eltern zu überreden dort essen zu gehen. Ich bestelle immer Pizza mit Garnelen und Lachs (Es soll aber davor gebraten werden auf der Pfanne) Da der Kellner uns sehr gut kennt weil wir Stamm Gäste sind war das natürlich auch kein Problem. Wir bestellten eine Pizza die ich immer bestelle 2x Arabiata mit Gebratenem Gemüse dazu ( Wofür wir immer trink Geld da lassen) und ein Steak für 45€. Also ich finde Pasta und Pizza für jeweils 20€ nich ok aber ein Steak für 45€ an sich nicht schlimm da das Steak erstaunlich gut schmeckte aber es ist höchstens 35 € wert aber ist halt buisniss und so kann ich noch verstehen und das ist auch alles hier nicht der Grund wieso nur 4 Sterne. Der Grund ist ist, das ich eine Pizza wie immer bestellt habe aber das Lachs gefehlt hat dafür hat sich der Kellner zu tiefste entschuldigt jedoch habe ich beim Essen und schon beim sehen geschmeckt das die Garnelen nicht gebraten waren was sehr schade war aber noch wegen den anderen malen die ich da war es hinnehmen lassen. Jedoch mussten wir 55 min auf unser Essen warten da 2 von 4 Herd Platten kaputt waren was dann dazu geführt hat das wir zum mitnehmen bestellen da verwandte auf uns warteten. Ich kann den Laden vom Sevice und essen nur empfehlen ich glaube aber das ist ein Mangel an Kellnern sehe da ich immer nur einen Kellner sehe ( der einfach nur zu nett ist). Also wenn ihr euch überlegt hier her zu kommen dann tut es aber ich muss nochmal überlegen ob ich dem Laden eine Chance gebe da meine Eltern die letzen 2 Male mal leicht und mal stark zurtüvk nachhause kamen Aber ich denke das war was einmaliges also probiert da die beste Pizza die ich ihr gegessen habe Tschau und mit LG Rayan 😇

Food overpriced (23 € a plate of pasta) and the waiters just don't love their job and their life so they treat you badly and just want your money as long as you pay cash because thay don't like you paying with card.This is not an Italian restaurant people.Stay away from it .

They blocked the entire Friedrichstraße with their Sperrmüll... oh, excuse me, it's your furniture on the sidewalk. One of the main streets of Berlin is blocked by them, so people can't pass at all and need to cross and make the super crowded street even worse.

Excellent food for an affordable price. It's cozy and welcoming and very quick service for take out. Staff are very professional.
