Absolutely fantastic food and great service! Every time I'm in Cuxhaven, I eat there. Everything tastes amazing; I'd give it 100 stars if I could. I recommend making a reservation for the evening, as they are often fully booked.

We went there for lunch. A very nice restaurant. Super friendly service; they even offered water to our little dog. It's just like being in Italy. The food was absolutely delicious, starting with the salad, which had a fantastic dressing. They had chicken and pork, all cooked to perfection. We also didn't have to wait long for our main course. Everything was amazing. It was a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it. Our new favorite restaurant!

As a single guest, I just barely managed to get a seat. A "greeting from the kitchen" immediately greeted me. I ate excellent spaghetti with seafood. Highly recommended!

An insider tip that's no longer an insider tip, because without a reservation, it's difficult to enjoy anything from the amazing menu on weekends. Highly recommended: the fantastic antipasti, the various bistecca variations, or, simpler but still excellent, the pizzas. Excellent wines from Italy like Pinot Grigio or Lugana, and an original Sambuca from Brotto to accompany your coffee. Thanks for everything, a fantastic team...

Unfortunately, we can only give 5 stars! But they absolutely deserve it. Even the phone reservation was great. A table for four at 9 p.m. (the ship from Heligoland arrived so late) was no problem, and they also informed us that the kitchen closes at 10 p.m. and the restaurant at 11 p.m. A very friendly welcome, and it was no problem ordering a pizza margarita with fresh mushrooms. A small, delicious appetizer: a toasted piece of bread with buschetta for everyone. The pizzas were incredibly delicious and very well-topped. We've rarely eaten such good pizzas. A fantastic end to a wonderful day on Heligoland, thank you.

I can absolutely recommend this restaurant. The servers are super friendly, attentive, and quick. They even ask if they should add pepper and cheese to the dishes. The restaurant was very busy, but after a short wait, we were seated. A bruschetta greeted us from the kitchen, consisting of freshly baked bread (very tasty). We ordered the tagliatelle with salmon, which arrived quickly and was also delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked, the pasta was al dente, and the sauce was well-seasoned. Excellent value for money.

Authentic enjoyment with perfect service – a real jewel of Italian cuisine I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful Italian restaurant and it was an experience I won't soon forget. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I felt the warm, inviting atmosphere that immediately welcomed me. The waiters were extremely attentive without being intrusive. Every wish was fulfilled with a smile, and the recommendation from the house was a hit. I was particularly impressed by the detail that gave my meal the finishing touch: the fresh pepper from an impressively large pepper mill. This little ritual not only ensured an excellent aroma, but also underlined the attention to detail that goes into the work here. The dishes themselves were a poem - perfectly balanced flavors, fresh ingredients and a presentation that immediately made you want to take the first bite. A disappointment! We were in Cuxhaven for a few days and chose the restaurant because of the good reviews. We had dinner with 4 people. The 2 pasta dishes were good, but the Saltimbocca was a mini portion and unfortunately not tasty for over 20 euros! Pork medallions with gorgonzola sauce, 2 mini slices of meat and some sauce, some vegetables and potatoes on an extra plate, tasted good, but for the money I think it was around 20 euros. Service was very pleasant…

A TOP restaurant!! The food is always delicious. We were particularly impressed by the changing specialties from the special menu. But the first-class service is extremely convincing! If there is a restaurant that says: you came as a guest and leave as a friend, it is Fontana! Best Italian in Cuxhaven and surrounding areas.

Food was ok, but I was a bit disappointed for the prices quoted. I have Italian roots and am therefore naturally demanding; It might be more suitable for Almans ;) Pizza and antipasti were just average.

Zwischenübernachtung nach Helgolandreise, einfach was zum Essen gesucht. Der Laden war voll, unangemeldet Platz an der Theke bekommen, Das Personal, ein fröhlicher Familienhaufen. Köstliche Pasta mit Ente und Steinpilzen, Zabaione als Dessert und ein Grappa aufs Haus zum Abschied. So macht es Spass.

The food was delicious, the waitress told us that unfortunately all the tables were empty We were taken and asked to come back in an hour, which we were happy to accept. Very tasty food: pizza fluffy, airy with rocket, Parma ham, cherry tomatoes and Parmesan cheese, also the starters Vittello Tonnato and porcini mushrooms in spinach and Gorgonzola. The employees are very nice and attentive. It is advisable to reserve in advance, as it is almost impossible to get a free table spontaneously. That speaks for the restaurant 🙂

Very friendly staff, real Italians and you notice that straight away. Very hospitable, very considerate and that creates a great atmosphere in the restaurant. Beautiful interior design, also very Italian, creates a holiday feeling and you like to stay longer and prefer to have something to drink after your meal. Unfortunately I still have to deduct 2 stars: I ordered a main course for around 20.00. The portion size was no more than an appetizer. I would have had to eat 5 of them to be full. My husband said with a laugh that these were “haute cuisine portions”. The salad dressing (balsamic) was so sweet that I was forced to eat the salad (my family had a small mixed salad, a side salad, and a main course salad, so every size). My daughter couldn't eat it and said, "Mom, the salad tastes like dessert." The small mixed salad (at least 7 euros) also contained ONE halved cherry tomato and 2 slices of cucumber, the rest was green leaves with this extremely sweet salad dressing. My (tiny) main course really tasted very good, but we left hungry, and that shouldn't be... The prices are simply too high for that, there's no balance between price and performance. Definitely 3 stars because of the great everything around it and the very good taste of the main course.

Due to a canceled appointment, we spontaneously got a table there and were very satisfied. The decor was very attractive and the staff was very friendly and exclusive. The price-performance ratio was great and special requests were well addressed. If we go on holiday in the region again, we will come back. Of course the food was also excellent.

Last chance was the Fontana di Trevi, we didn't have a reservation here either. Nevertheless we got a place. The restaurant was full. The service was super friendly and very attentive. We came across the restaurant by chance through Google. We were in the area for vacation. If you like it rustic, cozy and traditional, just right. It's the little things that can make it a perfect dinner. The food is great, the service is great and the atmosphere is very cozy and appealing. The staff is very, very friendly and available for a good, warm, humorous saying. Drinks are refilled quickly and the service is generally attentive and really friendly. A heartfelt recommendation! We were there twice. It was always well filled. A reservation is recommended. We were lucky without a reservation and were asked to come back half an hour later the second time (Easter Sunday without a reservation). Everything great !

The food may be very good. But I couldn't convince myself of that. In any case, you get the impression that the place is more closed than open. For a family reunion on April 7th. my wife wanted on March 13th. Have a table reserved for twelve people. Since even a dozen attempts didn't result in any phone availability, even during stated business hours, my wife went there. A friendly lady wrote down the reservation, but explained that with this number of guests you can't let them eat à la carte. It was agreed that my wife would receive a menu suggestion the next day, which didn't come. Several failed telephone attempts again. Then finally someone picked up the phone. The lady explained on the evening of March 15th that they were overloaded and had therefore not yet been able to put together a menu. But on Monday she would definitely call and offer her suggestions. Today is March 19th. in the afternoon and we still have nothing in our hands. Telephone availability zero again. This is subterranean customer treatment! My consequence: Before I decide again to eat the Trevi at the Fontana, I'll be a starving emissary of the Holy See in Ottobeuren. What good is supposedly top-notch Italian cuisine if I don't get the chance to try it? The tip for the owner is to close his shop completely. Then there will be no angry guests.

Mega! Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, wann ich so tolle Pasta gegessen habe (Tagliolini Rossi). Auch die Pizza ist nicht zu verachten. Dazu ein zugewandter Service, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Was will man mehr?

Déçue, les fruits de mer étaient surgelés, caoutchouteux en bouche... Anti pasti moyen, rien de fait maison, fromage coupé si fin, 4 fines lamelles pour 2! Idem pour les pâtes,dessert bon, sinon très bon accueil !

Es ist immer wieder schön, dort Essen zu gehen und die nette Gesellschaft und Gespräche mit Anna zu genießen. Auch Paolo's Service gefällt uns gut, er ist fröhlich und fühlt sich bei Giuseppe sehr wohl. Die "Küche" begrüßt uns immer freundlich und ist interessiert, wer zum Essen kommt. Sie kochen für uns alle sozusagen persönlich und nicht nur, weil es ihr Job ist. Wir freuen uns auf ein baldiges Wiedersehen.

Gewohnt ausgezeichnet wie immer, wenn wir im Urlaub in CUX sind und dort einkehren. Ich würde mir aber bei den doch etwas beengten Raumverhältnissen wünschen, dass das Restaurant zur generell hundefreien Zone wird ... (Neulich war mal ein größerer Hund als Begleitung dabei - wenn hier mal zwei Hunde aufeinander treffen sollten, die nicht miteinander kompatibel sind, möchte ich nicht am Nachbartisch gerade mein Essen serviert bekommen.) Ansonsten sind wir immer sehr zufrieden mit dem, was wir gegessen haben.

Toller Italiener! Nettes Ambiente, echt guter Service und tolle Gerichte. Dazu kommen kleine Aufmerksamkeiten wie Bruschetta und ein Digestif. Gutes Preis -/Leistungsverhältnis, Reservierung ist zu empfehlen, da sehr gut besucht.
