The window seat here offers a very good view over Buttplatz. They serve delicious Italian dishes. The service could be a bit more attentive and faster, as you have to wait quite a while if you want to order a drink or dessert. The restaurant and its premises are very clean and comfortably furnished.

On April 24th of this year, we ate there with a larger group in the evening. Tables had been reserved in advance, of course. The wait for the food was really long, and people who arrived later were served their food while we were still waiting for our drinks. Incidentally, we waited for over half an hour alone for our drinks. What's completely unacceptable these days is that the staff isn't familiar with allergens. There were two women working there. Either they weren't in the mood, or they were overwhelmed, or simply both. When asked if they had a gluten-free dish, the waitress denied it and turned around and started to leave! No alternatives were offered, nor did anyone make sure the person there could eat something. What a shame! It would have been more appropriate for the restaurant to describe the behavior as a "slip-up" instead of questioning whether the person had even visited the restaurant! Simply cheeky!

The entrance is initially intimidating. But once you leave the staircase, you find yourself in a very nice Italian restaurant. The service was very friendly and the food was excellent. The pizza was delicious. The little amenities for our kids were also a hit.

Prices are OK. The food was good. But the service was very poor. Friendly, yes, but it took a good 50 minutes to order food and drinks, even though there were only six people in the shop. To reorder drinks, you had to call across the shop to see if you could get anything else. The same thing happened when paying. It took at least 70-80 minutes after arrival for the food to arrive. And as I said, there were a total of six customers in the shop at that time.

Very tasty food and very nice and friendly service. I really liked the atmosphere with classical music in the background, which wasn't too loud so you could have a conversation.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the row of windows offers a lovely view of the entire square, where many families with children gather in the evening. The entrance itself and the staircase to the first floor don't seem very inviting, but when you open the door at the top, you find yourself in a restaurant that I highly recommend. The prices are also absolutely reasonable for this area. I would definitely go back. 😃

From the outside, it's rather unassuming and somewhat old and run-down. However, the interior is very lovingly and modernly decorated, with a beautiful view thanks to its location on the first floor and its old panoramic window. The service is very attentive, friendly, and professional. The pizza tastes fantastic.

Waited a very long time for the drinks

During our short vacation, we had a lovely evening here with friends. The food was truly delicious and the service very friendly! The waitresses were also very friendly with children, which we especially appreciated :-) We would come back anytime!

I happened to be there for a pizza and was very positively impressed. The seating was very comfortable and I had a great view of rainy Cuxhaven from above. The service was very pleasant and I enjoyed truly delicious food at a very reasonable price. Unfortunately, I'm not from Cuxhaven, but as soon as I'm back there, I'll definitely go to this restaurant. I sincerely recommend it :)

The outside area seemed very intimidating at first and I had to think about whether I should really enter this building. It gets nicer inside and the staff was very friendly, communicative and accommodating. I ate a pizza that you can't go wrong with - the dough was delicious. But for me it's very thick for an Italian. Unfortunately, in the end the EC machine failed, so I had to scrape together the last of my money and couldn't pay the bill in full. Unfortunately, the tip also had to be canceled, the staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Were there with 7 people without having reserved beforehand. We were still warmly welcomed and offered a place. There was bread with dip on the house...the food we ordered looked very good and tasted great. Our friends had ordered a children's pizza for the youngest, unfortunately it was only a difference of, I think, 2 euros compared to the normal pizza. Otherwise everything was really great.

We came here by chance while looking for a restaurant, what luck! This was by far the tastiest pizza we have ever eaten!😋

We chose two different pizzas and ordered them with a glass of wine. Since the restaurant was busy, it took some time for the pizza to be served. Unfortunately, both pizzas were very thinly topped, if it says grilled zucchini, I expect more than 2 slices. The same goes for the shrimp pizza, here you had to look for the shrimp. One base of the pizza wasn't baked through. It's a shame. At the end there was a drink on the house. That's nice, but it doesn't save the pizzas anymore.

We went to Lavita for the first time today. The pizza 🍕 tastes good and the service is friendly. The wait was a bit too long for you, but the view of the city was nice. We will go again.

Ate the lunch menu there. Pizza with drink 0.2 for €12.90. There was even a fresh small salad with balsamic vinegar. Super tasty. I can only recommend it. Thanks for that. If we are in Cuxhaven again we will definitely come back.

My daughter recently ordered the salad with melon and prosciutto: we were both amazed by the loving arrangement on the plate. The prosciutto from Parma was tasty 👑👑👑👑👑👑. Suddenly Tuscany or Italy was right in the heart of Cuxhaven. Italian cuisine is lived at La vita.

The somewhat inconspicuous entrance to the pizzeria on the upper floor belies the size of the pizzeria/restaurant, as there is enough space for an entire wedding party. The food was al dente, although you have to wait a bit, but the taste makes up for it. A successful evening with lots of frills and special taste. In addition to an excellent portion of pasta, a Pizza Mafia and refreshing San Pellegrino, the evening ended in peace.

The way up to the restaurant gave us some doubts at first because it was a bit bleak, but the restaurant itself was quite good in terms of ambience. When we were greeted, we didn't feel welcome at first (doubtful look as to whether anything was still available even though a lot was available), but after that it was a good experience. Delicious food, served quickly, asked repeatedly if everything was okay (but once would have been enough). The view over the square is very exciting.

I always enjoy going to La Vita, a pizzeria right on Kaemmererplatz. It's always very tasty. There are two free pizza rolls with some garlic sauce beforehand, we then had bruschetta as a starter and two delicious pizzas as a main course. I had the veggipizza, the other was with salami. Thin, crispy base, topping not as lavishly overloaded as with others. Even if the furniture is no longer the newest, you can have a nice conversation there and there isn't such a loud background noise around you. I always enjoy going there.

We had a pizza and a pasta dish. The quality of the food was comparable to a standard delivery service. Pizza very dark, lightly topped and a bit over-seasoned. Unfortunately, the pasta with salmon didn't cause a taste explosion either. The atmosphere is very cozy with a nice view of the city center. Unfortunately only 3 stars from us, sorry.

Ich war letzte Woche mit zwei Schulklassen dort und kann dieses Lokal empfehlen. Die Bedienung ist sehr flexibel und freundlich auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Auch der Service war super. Die Pizzen haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Vielen Dank für einen tollen Abend!

Leider war der Aufenthalt ein Flop… zum Essen hatten einmal die Mezzelune Ricotta-Spinat (auf dem Teller waren fünf Nudel und ähnelte einem Kindergricht, der Preis dafür liegt bei 14€ welcher viel zu hoch ist für das was auf dem Teller war) , die Pizza la Vita (auf der Pizza sollte überbackender Rucola sein doch davon war kaum etwas drauf, die Pizza war super fettig und hat neutral geschmeckt) und eine Pizza Margherita (diese war fettig aber war von allem an besten) zu den Getränken wir hatten eine Apfelschorle, Maracujasaft und eine Cola Bei den Getränken fehlte komplett Kohlensäure. Die Apfelschorle hatte kaum Geschmack. Der Service war in Ordnung nach 10-15 Minuten wurden wir erst nach trinken gefragt. Generell ist das Personal sehr langsam. Alles im einen kann man sagen das man sich sein Geld sparen kann und lieber ein anderes Lokal wählen sollte

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Ist auf jeden Fall ein perfektes Restaurant für ein romantisches Date. Die Bedingung war super freundlich und die Pizzen haben richtig gut geschmeckt.

Das Ambiente war in Ordnung, leider war die Pizza nur sehr fettig und so gut wie ohne Sauce. Die Pizza scheint auch in einer Form gebacken worden zu sein. Schade! Außerdem wird für Parmesan 1€ berechnet, dafür bekommt man circa einen großen Esslöffel.

Wir, mein Mann und ich, sind jedes Jahr in Cuxhaven im Urlaub. Seit nun mehr 7 Jahren. Seit 7 Jahren gehört es für uns dazu bei La Vita eine Pizza Mafia zum Beginn des Urlaubs zu essen. Wir wurden noch nie enttäuscht! Wir empfehlen diese Pizzaria definitiv weiter.

Das Restaurant gibt es schon lange in Cuxhaven und ich bin immer daran vorbeigelaufen weil es von außen nicht sehr ansprechend aussieht. Jetzt waren wir gestern mit meinen Großeltern dort essen und ich bin wirklich positiv überrascht. Das Essen ist wohl mit das beste was ich bei einem Italiener in Cuxhaven gegessen habe. Spitze! Man sieht auf der Pizza, dass die Zutaten selbst geschnitten sind und nicht aus der Dose kommen. Lecker und faire Preise. Kommen wieder!

Spontan hochgegangen.. man kann schön auf den Kaemmererplatz schauen. Der Service war freundlich und wir bekamen einen Tisch am Fenster… die Pizza für mich und die Bruschetta für meine Frau waren echt gut. Mir fehlt etwas mehr italienischer Flair.

Leckere Pizza, sehr nette Kellnerinnen, mussten aber ein wenig aufs Essen warten

Atmosphere is a little bit dated but the food is very nice non the less! We had pizza, salad and a pasta dish. The pasta was a little overcooked (for an Italian) however, the salmon was very tasty. The salad was very light and without the typical heavy mayonnaise dressing.

Wir hatten mit Reservierung einen schönen Tisch mit Blick auf die Innenstadt. Nach 20 Minuten haben wir darum gebeten, bedient zu werden. Die 2 Damen vom Service waren nett, der Situation jedoch nicht gewachsen und überfordert. Weitere 20 Minuten brauchte es, bis die Getränke serviert wurden. Nach über einer Stunde Wartezeit, bekamen wir die bestellten Pizzen. Eine Zutat fehlte, die Pizzen waren alle zu lange im Ofen. Geschmacklich nichts besonderes. Belag war sehr spärlich. Solch eine einfache, langweilige Pizza erhält man bei jedem Lieferdienst für kleineres Geld. Bezahlt haben wir an der "Theke", da wieder niemand zur Verfügung stand. Leider war unser Besuch eine Enttäuschung.

Waren am 23.09.23 im La Vita. Wir haben kurzfristig einen Tisch für 6 Personen gebucht. Alle waren begeistert von dem guten Essen und der freundlichen Bedienung. Schneller, kompetenter Service sehr zu empfehlen 👍

Schöne Möglichkeit in Cuxhaven mal essen zu gehen. Pizza war sehr lecker und man kann auch Pasta dort bekommen. Reichlich Platz, reservierung war nicht notwendig. Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Essen war reichhaltig, was die Kinder nicht geschafft haben, wurde ohne groß zu fragen, sofort zum mitnehmen eingepackt. Vegetarier kommen hier auch zu ihrem Essen. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Für uns ist La Vita weit und breit die beste Pizzeria. Wir waren mehrmals dort. Das Ambiente erinnerte uns gleich an Italien. Schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die aufmerksame herzliche und diskrete Bedienung schätzten wir sehr. Vor allem einmal nicht verkochte Penne.Geschmacklich wie es ein Italiener kocht. Absolute Spitze…!!! Das Schweinefilet mit Knoblauch war der Hammer. Nicht Totgebraten wie in anderen Restaurants. Der Excellente Wein ob Rot oder Weiss ist auch zu Empfehlen. Dazu bekommt man einen kleinen Salat und Wasser gratis. Eine sehr nette geste der Gastgeberin. Das gibt es ja nirgens mehr…!!! Vielen Dank wir können La Vita nur weitersempfehlen.

Die Pizza war sehr lecker wenn man auf dünnen knusprigen Boden steht. Das Ambiente ist 70er Jahre Like aber das mag ich... Auch wenn das ein oder trotzdem mal ersetzt werden könnte (Markise).

Kurz zusammen gefasst: Von zwei Urlauben in Cuxhaven / Duhnen und diversen besuchten Restaurants gab es hier das beste Essen. Sehr empfehlenswert.
