Wirklich gutes Restaurant, wir können uns nicht beschweren, alles sehr lecker. Alles hat super geklappt. Der Service ist super schnell und die Bedienungen sind alle samt sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wenn wir Urlaub in Timmdorf machen, kommen wir immer wieder sehr gerne hier her

Sehr schnelle Bedienung und super leckeres Essen! Das Personal war sehr freundlich, humorvoll und schnell. Wir haben ohne Probleme einen Tisch ohne Reservierung bekommen. Für Urlauber eine Empfehlung wert!

Insgesamt 4 verdiente Sterne, dennoch , der Teufel steckt im Detail! Der vordere Teil des Restaurants ist alles andere als "vornehm" (so die Selbstdarstellung im Netz), eher schlicht. Die Antipasti wurden auf einem Kunststofteller angerichtet serviert,Imbisniveau, geht gar nicht! Wegen einer Allergie wurde auf Ziegen-/Schafskäse in den Pasti verzichtet, ohne das daraufhin aus der Küche mit Käse von der Kuh aufgefüllt wurde- guter Service geht anders. Die Tagestafel, die auch sonst zumeist erst auf Nachfrage präsentiert wird, hing an der Wand,wo sie trotz Nachfrage auch blieb. Guter Service, engagiert, zugewandt, sieht anders aus!

Sehr leckere Pizza mit tollen Ambiente. Auch der Service ist einfach toll. Ich komme bei jedem Besuch vom Timmendorfer Strabd hier gerne vorbei :)

Wir waren zu viert an einem Samstagabend gegen 20:00 Uhr im Ristorante da Paolo und haben sogar ohne Reservierung noch einen Tisch bekommen – das hat uns positiv überrascht. Man konnte zwischen Wintergarten und Innenbereich wählen. Im Innenbereich war es allerdings ziemlich warm. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben Pizza, Nudeln und Lachs bestellt: Die Pizza war schön knusprig und sehr lecker. Der Lachs mit Gemüse war gut zubereitet, allerdings für unseren Geschmack etwas zu ölig. Die Nudeln waren insgesamt in Ordnung, hätten aber etwas mehr Salz vertragen. Auch die Getränke sowie das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis haben überzeugt. Öffnungszeiten: So 12:00–22:00 Uhr, Mo–Di 17:00–22:00 Uhr, Mi geschlossen, Do 17:00–22:00 Uhr, Fr–Sa 12:00–22:00 Uhr. Insgesamt ein schöner Abend und definitiv eine Empfehlung!

Wir hatten zwei Pizzen und Salat. Beide Pizzen waren gut aber nicht besonders. Preislich überteuert - Timmendorf halt. Der Salat war sehr einfach. Service nett. Ambiente gut.

Italiener ohne amore. Pizza ohne Oregano. nach Knoblauch und scharf muss man fragen. Die Pizza war ok… Die tomatensuppe was gut! Das Gericht mit der Salsiccia war sehr schwach. Preise sind ok. Vielleicht hätten wir lieber Nudeln essen sollen, die sahen am Nachbartisch sehr gut aus.

Wir wollten mit unseren Hunden gerne einkehren. Es war zu diesem Zeitpunkt fast leer. Leider wurden wir wegen der Hunde von vornherein abgewiesen, obwohl diese - und wir sagten dies auch - sehr gut erzogen sind und am Tisch ruhig liegen bleiben. Der Besitzer wirkte sehr, sehr arrogant und hatte es wohl nicht nötig auf Gäste freundlich einzugehen. Gründe, weshalb er keine Hunde duldet, nannte er nicht. Dadurch hat er nun keine neuen Gäste bekommen. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Der Empfang von dem Personal war sehr höflich und es gab eine schnelle Tischzuweisung. Die Bedienung war sehr schnell an unserem Tisch und hat die Bestellungen aufgenommen. Der uns zugewiesene Kellner war sehr aufmerksam und hat sich oft erkundigt ob alles gut sei. Auch die Wartezeit bis zur Vorspeise war sehr schnell. Das Ambiente war sehr modern, sauber und gepflegt. Der Geräuschpegel war sehr angenehmen obwohl es gut besucht war. Die Tische waren gut angeordnet und man hatte viel Platz. Die von uns bestellte Vorspeise (Brot mit Knoblauchsoße bzw. Butter) war sehr gut und unser lob wurde ausgesprochen. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 3 Personen die alle was unterschiedliches bestellt haben. Die Cabonara war leider nicht mein Geschmack, der Nachgeschmack war sehr künstlich und blieb für längere Zeit auf der Zunge. Leider war mir am Abend etwas schlecht davon. Die Pizza mit Salami und Schinken, war geschmacklich sehr gut allerdings ging es uns danach auch nicht gut. Im sinne von Bauchschmerzen und Übelkeit. Das es bei beiden Gerichten zu Übelkeit kam fanden wir leider sehr fragwürdig. Beim dritten und letzten Gericht (Nudeln mit Bollo und Mozzarella überbacken) können wir keine negativen Sachen sagen, da dies das einzige Gericht war wo es uns gut ging und was geschmacklich noch am besten war. Alles im Allen es ist schade weil das Personal und das Ambiente sehr gut waren. Wir würden uns über eine HÖFLICHE Antwort freuen, da es leider wie es aussieht hier nicht üblich ist vom Inhaber nette Worte zu finden in den Rezensionen.

Für unsere zwei Pizzen zum Mitnehmen beim Ristorante da Paolo können wir nur eine klare Empfehlung aussprechen. Die Bestellung war schnell fertig, das Team sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist absolut überzeugend und die Pizzen waren richtig lecker. Das Ambiente sah auf den ersten Blick sehr nett aus. Besonders bemerkenswert: An einem Mittwochabend in der Nebensaison war das Restaurant komplett voll belegt – das spricht eindeutig für die Qualität. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Super Italiener mitten in Timmendorf. Sehr nettes & aufmerksames Personal. Wir hatten 4 verschiedene Pizzen und alle waren köstlich. Typisch italienisch! Das Tiramisu sollte man unbedingt kosten, zum Niederknien. Preis/Leistung ist dem Ort angepaßt. Ein Punkt Abzug für die aus meiner Sicht teilweise recht engen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Am Wochenende unbedingt reservieren!

Wir waren zu 100% zufrieden! Das Essen war geschmacklich perfekt, besonders gut gefallen haben uns die Tomatensuppe und Pizza. Der Service ist ebenfalls hervorragend. Insgesamt top!

Preis-Leistung ist etwas daneben meiner und die Meinung meiner Begleitung. Der kleine Teller Nudeln mit drei Garnelen war zu teuer und vom Geschmack her wirklich nix besonderes und leider kaum gewürzt. Die Pizza ist echt super nur leicht überteuert wie wir finden aber für eine Tourist Stadt ist es Ok. Bruschetta ist lecker aber ihr solltet gleich zwei bestellen da die potion sehr klein ist.

Tolles italienisches Restaurant in Timmendorfer Strand. Leckere Pizza und der Preis ist auch o.K. Der Service ist gut und alles in Allem nur zu empfehlen. Einzig die Tische stehen etwas beengt.

Ich wollte meinen Geburtstag in diesem Restaurant feiern. Als meine Freundin jedoch telefonisch nachfragte, ob wir eine angefertigte Geburtstagstorte mitbringen dürfen, wurde sie belächelt. Sehr unfreundlich – so geht man nicht mit Gästen um, schon gar nicht in der italienischen Kultur. Schade für euch.

„Nur Barzahlung oder ‚EC‘ – im Jahr 2026.“ EC gibt es seit Jahren nicht mehr, Kreditkarten auszuschließen ist kein Versehen, sondern Absicht. In Timmendorfer Strand, in einem italienischen Restaurant, wirkt das schlicht unseriös. Nicht zeitgemäß, nicht kundenfreundlich.

Das Restaurant ist super Bedienung ist auch Mega und die Speise sind auch richtig gut. Ich weiß nicht was hier zu meckern gibt aber von mir nur fünf Sterne, weil man nicht gibt

Essen ist ok aber nichts besonderes. Finde es aber sehr frech, für Parmesan und Chili Öl jeweils 1,50€ zu nehmen. Für den extra Rucola auf der Pizza waren es ganze 3,00€. Sie scheinen es nötig zu haben.

Wir sind spontan dort gewesen und haben gut gegessen. Unsere Bedienung war sehr freundlich und das Essen war gut. Einzig was uns am Ende fehlte war ein Grappa auf"s Haus, wie wir es von vielen anderen Italienischen Restaurants der Preislage kennen.

Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend, mit einem professionellen und serviceorientierten Auftreten. Die Räumlichkeiten waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Essen war hervorragend, geschmacklich top und schön angerichtet. Die Qualität war durchweg hochwertig, und wir waren rundum zufrieden. Absolut empfehlenswert!

We were in Timmendorf today and wanted to treat ourselves to a pizza, so we (my wife, my child, and I) headed for the restaurant. Right in front of us, three teenagers had just asked if there was a table available without a reservation. The (nice) waiter let them in without further discussion. My wife then asked the waiter if there was a table available for us and if we could change our son's diaper. After the waiter briefly looked at me and my family, he simply stated that the only table available today was with a reservation, even though there were obviously many free tables. He then immediately turned his back on us and closed the chain at the entrance. Since we didn't even get in, I can't say anything about the food, but the service was definitely beyond abysmal (at least from that one waiter), and just because people seem a bit out of character in terms of appearance, that shouldn't be used as a basis for such an obvious lie. Long story short, we definitely cannot recommend this waiter. The restaurant is certainly nice and the food is appealing, but in my opinion this is not how you treat paying guests who would have loved to eat a delicious pizza there.

Even without a reservation, we were greeted very warmly and given a table. Service, food, and price were very good.

We were there for lunch today. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. However, I was a bit surprised that they charge extra for Parmesan cheese with the pasta dish. The lunch menu is still good value for money.

A very nice, centrally located Italian-run restaurant. The pizzas are large and delicious, topped with fresh ingredients. There are several vegetarian dishes to choose from. The staff is very friendly and exudes typical Italian hospitality.

Until today, I only knew spaghetti Bolognese. And then it came...that moment...the special of the day: "Pizza Bolognese"...I was curious to see what it tasted like...and let me tell you...simply AMAZING!♥️🍕🍷 After my favorite tagliatelle with salmon...this dish is number two on my list. Absolute disaster! The service was incredibly unpleasant – even when ordering, you felt like you were intruding. The pizza was simply slammed down without any care, not even cut – a disgrace! I had to carve it myself with a knife like an idiot. And as if that wasn't enough, they simply deducted my tip at the end without asking. Seriously? That's not acceptable. Absolutely disgraceful place – never again!!!!!

The service was nice and we got a table straight away. The shop is nice and clean. My pizza was delicious but the crust was burnt in some places. I can still highly recommend the shop.

Unfortunately, my pizza was quite dry on the outside and only half-cooked on the inside. Arugula was soggy and had probably been put on the pizza too early. All in all, it wasn't a great experience, especially for the price, but it was still okay. Unfortunately, my wife had a stomachache all night from the vegetarian pizza and felt very unwell. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. Overall, the price/performance ratio wasn't good, but that's unfortunately standard on the German Baltic Sea coast.

This was our very first time here, and certainly not the last. We arrived without an appointment, and the place was packed. They immediately made an effort to get us a table quickly. The team is amazing. The food is sensational. The one-star rating is completely unjustified and very unfair.

Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food or the ambiance. We stood with our 1.5-year-old daughter for 15 minutes at the entrance counter without being invited in. The place was quite full; a table near us was being cleared and wiped down. After asking if we could go there, the waitress said she had to check with the manager first. The said 15 minutes passed, our daughter was already very annoyed, and the waitress walked past us several times without paying any attention. Unfortunately, we won't see this Italian again; the staff are incapable of making their own decisions, presumably because the owner apparently intended it that way.

Unfortunately, the food was not very enjoyable, and more importantly, despite informing the staff about a seafood allergy, we were still served a dish containing seafood. This was not only disappointing but also potentially dangerous. I hope you can take steps to ensure allergy information is taken more seriously in the future to avoid putting guests at risk.

Very friendly service and delicious food. I had a pizza salami and a starter salad. The salad was almost the size of a main course :-). Everything was freshly prepared.

It was a bit hectic in the restaurant, but the pizza 🍕 was okay. My wife really enjoyed the pasta dish. The pizza wasn't anything special and a bit more expensive than at our Italian restaurant, but it satisfied our hunger. The beer 🍺 was too expensive at €5.90 for a 0.4 l.

The food was excellent to good, typical Italian cuisine! Unfortunately, the pasta wasn't cooked al dente. The service wasn't particularly attentive, probably because there were only two of us. The ambiance, sitting right next to the bar and the kitchen, isn't that special. Otherwise, everything was fine!

A decent restaurant. I found the pizza rather greasy, with lots of cheese and little sauce. There was no lasagna at this Italian restaurant. There was no whipped cream on the dessert ice cream. The staff was friendly, but the restaurant lacked a cozy atmosphere.

I ate at this restaurant alone. Unfortunately, I was seated in a corner, which was very cramped. The space itself is otherwise fine. The food was simply delicious! Highly recommended! The prices are also very fair. The service was attentive.

The food was very good. €20 for a pizza is a bit steep, but it's a vacation spot. The pasta was also beyond reproach. The service was a bit forgetful at first, but after that, they were very attentive. We also gave a good tip. The daily specials are varied and highly recommended. If we're here again, we'll be happy to come back.

A cozy restaurant right in Timmendorfer Strand. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The service was very friendly. The salami pizza was delicious and, at €13.50, a reasonable price. We found the beer a bit too expensive: €5.90 for 0.4 liters. We'd gotten a 0.5-liter beer for that price at other restaurants the other day. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Aglio e Olio con Peperoni: sehr sehr schlecht, essen wir oft in italienischen Restaurants, daher haben wir einen guten Vergleich, überhaupt nicht scharf angemacht, Peperoni nicht frisch, einfach eingelegte Peperonis mit wenig Geschmack, geht gar nicht für diesen Preis! 2.) Salat für über 17€, am Tisch sagte man uns „es sei nur ein Vorspeisensalat“….. Insgesamt beides schlecht, werden wir meiden!

We had Aglio e Olio con Peperoni (pepper sauce and oil), and it was very, very bad. We eat this dish very often in Italian restaurants, so we have a good comparison! It wasn't spicy at all, the peppers weren't fresh, they just used pickled peppers with little flavor (we're used to fresh peppers), which is unacceptable for this price! Ordered a salad for over €17 according to the menu, and at the table we were told "it was just an appetizer salad"... (also unacceptable). Overall, both were bad, and we will avoid this restaurant in the future!

Since the restaurant had good reviews, we were looking forward to eating there. Very fast, friendly service. Apparently all Italian, so we expected authentic Italian cuisine. Spaghetti Carbonara and Pizza ordered a white wine and a red wine. The white wine was of simple quality, the recommended Primitivo went like this. So far so…..The spagetti carbonara was drowned in cream. It doesn't belong in carbonara at all. There was neither Peccorino nor Parmesan on the sauce, which is traditionally included. When I asked, I was given more parmesan and was charged extra. By the way, in this restaurant you pay €3 for an extra plate and cutlery if you want to share a dish. My recommendation: At the square around the corner there is Italian cuisine with fresh ingredients and homemade pasta. The pizza was okay, but nothing special.

For almost 29 years, after a day at the beach, he stopped by Paolo's with his dog. In the middle of the week, around 5 p.m., we were no longer allowed to enter the restaurant because of the dog. The restaurant is rarely visited. Incomprehensible! We found another friendly Italian after all these years. The dog got a greeting from the kitchen and we ate much better. Thanks for the rejection. We have broadened our horizons and will not be coming back. Ciao!

We were very enthusiastic about this Italian restaurant, which is located absolutely centrally in Timmendorf on the 1st floor. We spontaneously got a table reserved for Saturday evening and felt very welcome with our two small children. The pizzas were very, very tasty and the pizza rolls were hot, crispy and extremely good! The olive oil I specifically asked for was delicious with it! We really had to change our two-year-old daughter and there was no explicit changing option. We politely asked for an alternative and they made it possible in the next room. The restaurant became more and more crowded and was well attended. Our waiter was super nice and seemed very competent. My antipasti was delicious, the eggplant was a little too spicy for my taste. A tip: The sink fittings in the women's toilet can be replaced from time to time. :-) We'll be back!

The food is still delicious, but the prices have gone up considerably. I don't think a few slices of bread with aioli for €8.50 is reasonable. What I find most depressing, however, are the portions of Parmesan cheese for €1.50. A portion of pasta should come with Parmesan.

We've been regular customers at Paolo's for about eight years. We live 30 minutes away, but it's worth it. We've experienced several different waitresses in the meantime. All of them are friendly and pleasant. We've been there as a couple, with some of the family, with the whole family, with friends, relatives... for various occasions or whatever... Every time, our food has been delicious, whether it's pizza, salad, or pasta. The portions are so large that there's always some leftover. Good service, nice and friendly waitresses. Not pushy, they let customers chat in peace. Really good Italian restaurants are hard to find. But once you find one, you can't let it go...and you appreciate it...

Service was ok, but very disappointed with the food! Pizza is still ok, but the pasta is a disgrace! Spaghetti aglio e olio for €14 and as a woman I couldn't get enough, it looked like a child's portion! For the prices you can expect something different!
