Great food for a fair price! Good operation/service!

Unfortunately, what I ordered didn't taste good at all. Tiramisu is also a parody of Tiramisu. At the end the waitress asked me if the food was tasty and when I gave my real opinion (without aggression, very calm but honest) she started to convince me that it wasn't like that instead of saying that it was to them kitchen will be passed on. This is the first time I have experienced such service. Update: Unfortunately there is somehow no option to reply to your answer, so I'm writing my answer here. How did I show myself? I spoke to my partner about 3 situations that happened in your restaurant. First I ordered apple juice and then had to go straight to the toilet. Meanwhile, the waitress asked my partner again what I had ordered: apple spritzer or apple juice. He couldn't remember exactly and said apple spritzer. When I returned, I was already a little disappointed that they didn't wait for me to ask me directly what I had actually ordered. But well, I thought it was just a single situation - something like that can happen. Then it was about the pizza. I wanted to order a four-cheese pizza, but I didn't really read that it doesn't exist. The waitress asked, “Do you mean the Quattro… pizza?” I thought she was simply translating the name into Italian and replied, “Yes.” Of course, that was partly my fault because I said “yes.” But I think that they could have also explained to me that I misunderstood something and that there is no such thing as a four-cheese pizza. That would have avoided confusion. Of course, I was disappointed again when I received something I didn't want to order. And then came the tiramisu, which really didn't taste good. I can say this with certainty because I often order tiramisu - and unfortunately this was one of the worst I've ever eaten. This was followed by the reaction of the waitress, who somehow wanted to defend the tiramisu. And now comes your reaction, Toni, in which you mention at the end that I somehow showed myself. I really don't understand what you mean by that. How exactly did I “show up” if all I did was talk to my partner and give my honest opinion to the waitress? I thought the restaurant would take my feedback into account - in which case I wouldn't have left a review here at all. Update 2: I've read through some comments where people are complaining. I was curious about how the restaurant usually reacts to criticism. Dear potential guests of this restaurant, Before you eat here, take a close look at the comments. Think carefully about whether you would like to be treated this way if you don't like the service or the food. Because one thing is clear: this restaurant only accepts praise.

Very friendly service and very tasty pizza. Not so nice from the outside - more like an awning and very narrow inside but the pizza arrived quickly and tasted great.

We ate super delicious noodles. We'll definitely be back. We can recommend it. :-) Prices are around 13-25 euros for noodles.

The Capriciosa salad was really tasty. The kids had pizza and spaghetti bolognese. There was a lot of cheese on the margarita pizza. I didn't try the Bolognese, my son thought it was delicious.

I don't think the application does the store justice. We ate very well there and the service was very attentive and friendly. I recommend reserving a table.

We had reserved a table several weeks in advance, but then had to either sit near the cold entrance or take the table near the toilet. The evening didn't start off well. Unfortunately, the lady who served us did not present us with the daily menu and was generally short and rather unfriendly. When we asked about a vegetarian dish - which vegetables were in it (since the menu only mentioned non-specific "vegetables") - she responded with a rude comment that didn't provide any clarification. She also showed no willingness to ask in the kitchen. We then went somewhere else for a nice, cozy evening.

Very tasty food, super nice service.

The service is very nice, she will recommend what and how to go with it, the dishes are served quickly and the pizza is delicious, crispy and not overdone with the sauce and ingredients, I recommend it to anyone who wants pizza.

Every year when we are in Timmendorfer Strand we love going to Paolo's and we were always very satisfied. But this time it didn't work at all, the pizza was, in short, just bad, the salami tasted impossible. The dreifirtel pizza was returned because they wanted it for me Pack it up but just said that it didn't taste good. No question, why no apology, "too bad". At the table next door they also had a salami pizza, the salami was given to the dog who was sitting under the table. It's all a shame, we won't be coming back.

Went there for dinner. The restaurant was moderately busy on a Sunday evening, so we were able to choose a seat. The food was absorbed quickly and arrived quickly. The pizza is delicious and if you like pizza, you'll get your money's worth:) The star deduction is due to the service. Unfortunately, we didn't see the waitress at our place after serving and only saw her again after we asked her to pay.

Unfortunately I can't give the entire review 5 stars because the restaurant no longer accepts credit cards. The food was always good and the service was attentive.

Ate with 7 people, pizzas were very thin and extremely hard. Unfortunately there was no way to order pasta without tomato sauce. Just sad. A simple cream sauce would have been enough or even pasta without anything. But no chance, not even trying to ask in the kitchen. Disappointing. Drinks took forever, food actually took even longer. We wouldn't visit this restaurant again.

Unfortunately my fillet wasn't that perfect. Can happen with a natural product - Never mind. I complained and received 2 x filet mignon of very good quality. That's how it should be. First class service. I give 5 stars and would be happy to come back.

We ate there on our vacation. Yes, the food was okay, but it wasn't a highlight either. But I've never paid extra money for parmesan before. It was only 1.50 but I thought parmesan was part of the pasta

The *Ristorante da Paolo* in Timmendorf was a great experience. The food was authentic Italian and incredibly delicious, especially the pasta! The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, the service attentive. A wonderful place for a cozy evening!

Pizza was good but the Spaghetti Arabiata was way too spicy. Service was good but the ambience in the winter garden was a bit sparse.

We are in Timmendorf 2-3 times a year and always stop at Ristorante da Paolo. We also ate very well on special occasions...birthdays...wedding days!! The fish and meat dishes are excellent in terms of quality and taste. Why is only pizza and pasta rated? A good Italian can also do fish and meat... You come into the Ristaurante and feel like you're in Italy, that's not an exaggeration. The menu is kept small but there is also a daily table. The food tastes very good and is very authentic. The service is very friendly, courteous and friendly. All in all a very good restaurant

Hello, we were there twice for food, pizza and pasta dishes. Very tasty, they put a lot of effort into it. Always full house and the service is running its feet sore. Unfortunately we're going home tomorrow, otherwise we would eat there a third time. Price with drinks!

If you want to feel like a second or third class guest, you've come to the right place. No matter whether to pick up or to get a table. Either no one answers the phone, even if there are enough tables available, and if they do, no table reservations are accepted. You probably don't need it. It's a shame, because the quality of the food is actually good, which is why the two stars. Many thanks in advance to the owner for insults, which, as always, follow such reviews in auxiliary German. It would be intelligent to question why such assessments are made at all.

We were there on our first evening. Utopian prices 😱, guests are really asked to pay here. (Small) children's pizza 9 euros, tagliatelle with (some) salmon approx. 23 euros, Italian. Country wine! 0.2 glass 7.50 euros (unfortunately it doesn't taste good at all) Extra requests are immediately blocked by the service, zero customer friendliness We would be happy to go to a different restaurant next time!

Wow, we were very excited, had pasta with prawns or pasta with beef strips and dessert.

Pasta and salmon (expensive and small portion) were great, unfortunately the pizza was only mediocre.

I was in this restaurant for the first time today with my uncle Benjamino and we were thrilled! The starters were delicious and fresh, the pasta and steak were excellent and the service was top. I would like to go here again.

Delicious food, we ate there yesterday and it was the best Bolognese I've ever eaten. The employees were also super friendly, you can't complain at all, just like the owner was super friendly. The restaurant is also very nicely decorated and makes you feel very comfortable. The prices are completely justified for what you get, I can recommend it to everyone…. I'd love to come back😁

I cannot recommend this restaurant to vegetarians. We ordered two vegetarian pizzas. The Pizza Vegetaria came with some ham hidden under the cheese. We only noticed it when we had already eaten half of it 🤢. The waitress initially wanted to tell us that it was mozzarella, even though it was clearly recognizable as ham. When I asked in the kitchen, it turned out that the ingredients are not always cleanly separated and something like this can happen 🤦‍♀️. From a hygiene perspective, it's not possible. Also a horror for allergy sufferers. We ended up getting a new pizza. This was put on the table for us without a word by the chef/pizza maker (?). We were here for the first and last time.

We were there quite spontaneously at lunchtime, shortly before our beach trip. So we went in with bags and luggage (full handcart included) and everyone reacted in a relaxed manner. 😊 The service was always friendly and attentive and was also very kind to our two children. In a very short time the Ristorante filled up with many guests and their children, and here too everyone was quickly taken care of. ✨And the most important thing, the food also tasted great 👍 (pasta, pizza and a dish of the day)✨ We will definitely come back because everything was perfect!

Pizza was ok, at €5.90 for 0.4 Pils we have a liter price of just under 15 euros. And card payments (EC only!) are only possible from €30. Service desert Germany.

Whenever we come to Timmendorf from Bielefeld it is a must to eat there! Best Italian locally and has been for several years.

Ristorante da Paolo Beeinflusst durch die guten Bewertungen haben wir das italienische Restaurant zum Abendessen besucht. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und haben den verbindlichen Service angenehm empfunden. Der empfohlene Hauswein war gut, der Preis angemessen. Das Carpaccio sehr gut, wobei auch die Küche dabei wenig falsch machen kann. Die Pasta Carbonara war durchschnittlich, kein Highlight. Nicht besonders interessant gewürzt und für unsere Erwartungen zu klebrig. Die große Enttäuschung war die Spargelcremsuppe. Für angedicktes Spargelwasser 10€ zu verlangen ist nicht korrekt. Unsere Reklamation wurde mit „ich werde es an die Küche weitergeben“ kommentiert. Im Großen und Ganzen war der Besuch kein Erlebnis mit einem mangelhaften Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Real Italian pizza, crispy base and well topped, the buffalo mozzarella is worth it. Deliciously seasoned vegetables on the starter platter.

Pizza tasted good and the service was also very nice. We noticed that the food was at the table quickly even though the shop was very full 😺. At first it was a bit chilly but with the help of the infrared heaters and blankets on the chair it was fine. Keep it up!

Delicious pizza that also has Italian toppings. So it's not typically overcrowded in Germany, but more discreet. The staff was super nice and friendly. Therefore a clear recommendation.

Nice restaurant, delicious food, friendly staff

Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed for the price - especially with the salad. You cannot order the side salad for €5 if you “only” have a pasta dish. Therefore we had to order a “normal” salad for €8. I think the picture shows it all. It was a little iceberg lettuce, two pieces of tomato, 3 slices of cucumber, a little pepper and a small forkful of carrots (ready mix?). Where are the olives? Pepperoni? Arugula? I definitely don't expect that from an Italian restaurant and especially not for the price. The pasta with salmon was ok, but nothing special.

We liked the food, but we can't recommend eating there with a small child because they charge €3.50 for the "robber's plate" (just an empty plate). In addition, the cheapest children's meal (pasta with tomato sauce) costs €9.50, we think it's a disgrace to charge so much for small children's portions.

How the owner deals with negative criticism can be read here impressively and, in my opinion, speaks for itself. But I am reassured that, despite the convincingly expressed disbelief of my completely miscontrolled taste buds, I am not the only one who didn't like it. Spaghetti with tuna (also found with glasses) was inedible for me because it was completely over salted and peppered, my companion also saw it that way. Serving me exactly the same food after 2 minutes (wow! fresh?) didn't make it any better. Unfortunately, what you can read here can be experienced live on site. Criticism simply doesn't work with Paolo. Basically the guest is to blame. You can do it that way, but no longer with us. I'm excited to see how I'll get my review of Signore. By the way, the pizza with buffalo mozzarella was ok. Not more than that. Sorry.

We were guests a few times and would always like to come back. Always friendlier and what is very rare these days, good service at the table. The food was equally delicious. I work in the catering industry myself and have rarely felt so well served. I would highly recommend it. Greetings to the team, keep it up.

We were greeted very friendly, spontaneously got a table and had a fantastic meal. At times it was a bit busy and loud, but that was because it was quite full - which again speaks for the restaurant. We would come back at any time.

Super nice place and really good food. We got 4 pizzas and Tony brought them out himself. Even though it was busy, there was also time for good service.. we will come again next time.

Chic Italian restaurant right in the center of Timmendorfer Strand. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and were given a nice, large table as our large Leonberger (dog weighing 65kg) accompanied us. Four-legged guests are also very welcome. ☺️ Chic, stylish but cozy atmosphere and great service. The dishes we ordered were consistently delicious!
