We ate here, the waiter was unfriendly. Card payments were not possible, it was not stated on the tables or anywhere else. The food was a complete disaster, baked potatoes were small and dry, pasta was so bad I can't find the words. You could hardly get out of the toilet, the lock was broken. I have never experienced anything like this here in Timmendorf.

Arrogant and unfriendly. Supposedly open until 11 p.m., they refuse to accept guests after 9 p.m.! "The boss called and he doesn't need any more money!" was the response!

We were inside and were at first ignored. After getting his attention he took our order fast and orderly. A salad was not available to order, so we had to order another. We asked for chili-oil, that wasn't available either Paying with a german EC-Card isn't pissible, but not a dealbreaker. Overall the service was acceptable, but not up to standards For 13.40€ we got 4 filled Canneloni. You should order Pizza instead! Adding to it, there was a shard of glass inside our glass of "Aperol Spritz", which happens, but isn't very appreciative

We were very disappointed with our visit. The staff seemed clearly overwhelmed, which was evident in the extremely long wait – we had to wait over an hour for our food. The food was completely unimpressive in terms of taste, and the value for money, in our opinion, was not justified. Unfortunately, this is not a restaurant we would recommend.

We had to wait 15 minutes for our drinks right from the start, and then another 20 minutes for two simple pizzas. It was immediately apparent that the waiters and kitchen staff were completely overwhelmed; a hectic atmosphere made guests feel more like they were being worked over than welcomed. The quality of the food and drinks was equally disappointing: • The Aperol Spritz was poorly mixed, with practically no alcohol in it. • The pizza was bland, completely tasteless; you could almost only taste the dough; the toppings and seasoning were missing. • The portions were small, which didn't reflect the value for money at all. The ambiance also left a lot to be desired: • The restrooms were in poor condition, as neither the men's nor the women's restrooms could be locked from the inside. • Guests at the next table were complaining about stale wine, which only confirmed our impression. • Additionally, card payments aren't accepted, which is simply outdated these days. All in all, a very disappointing visit, one we definitely won't repeat. It's a shame about the beautiful location; the restaurant seems completely overwhelmed and offers neither quality nor service.

We were there with two people on August 15th around 5:30 p.m. We were seated outside right away, although it should be noted that there are many tables for two people and only 2-3 tables for larger groups. The service was very friendly and quick. It took a while for the drinks to arrive, but the food arrived very quickly. My salami pizza tasted very good, with a crispy crust and a soft center. The size was absolutely appropriate for the price; I was full. My companion chose spaghetti Napoli. The taste was also very good, but the portion could have been larger, especially considering the price. There's still potential here. All in all, a good place. Let's move on to dessert: The ice cream at the ice cream parlor across the street was very tasty. The portion size was good, and at €2 per scoop, the price is considered typical for the area. Absolute disappointment! I was on vacation with my partner, and since we actually really enjoy eating at Pinocchio, we were very happy to find one in Timmendorf. However, we were bitterly disappointed. We had a casserole and a lasagna, along with two glasses of wine. The lasagna tasted like it had been reheated three times. Very greasy, with no seasoning whatsoever. Unfortunately, the same thing happened with the casserole. The wine, however, was okay. We paid €48 for this meal, which wasn't even remotely tasty. Which is absolutely NOT justified given the quality. Since the portions weren't large or tasty, we went to Peter Pane, which is definitely more recommendable. We would never go to this "dive" again. Therefore, I absolutely don't understand the good reviews and agree with everyone who has had the same or similar experiences with Pinocchio! Conclusion: ANYTHING BUT NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Terrible place. Terrible pizzas and no proper toppings. Complete rip off. Only cash so clearly a big tax avoide. I will be reporting them! Don’t do it.

We spent 45 euros on some pasta (supposedly two portions) and a pizza. The Gorgonzola sauce was more like a soup, the spaghetti Napoli tasted like a can of tomatoes had been poured on top and warmed up, and that was it. No seasoning, totally tasteless, the portions far too small. For the price, I'm at a loss for words. Never again.

Once and never again. Worst pasta far and wide. -Spaghetti carbonara was unseasoned, dry, and tasted like it had been reheated. -Lasagna was tasteless, mushy, and lacked any trace of freshness. The portion sizes, relative to the price and the poor quality, are an absolute disgrace. We definitely won't be ordering anything from here again. At least the server was friendly.

We visited the small ice cream parlor across the street from the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised! Compared to other ice cream parlors in town, the ice cream here was truly delicious, and the scoops were a pleasant size – not the tiny portions you often get. The prices were also absolutely fair, especially considering the quality. The homemade ice cream completely won us over: creamy, tasty, and simply really good. Highlights: – The pistachio flavor has a real pistachio flavor – please never discontinue it or change the recipe! – The sea buckthorn was also very tasty – I'd like to try a bit more intense flavor next time. All in all, a real insider tip for ice cream lovers – we'll definitely be back! And now, about the restaurant: Really nice, absolutely delicious – absolutely recommended! We were completely satisfied with our visit to the Italian restaurant Pinocchio. The service was very friendly, attentive, and quick. Even without a reservation, we were able to get a seat right away in the evening – especially convenient, as the adjacent bakery's seating is available after closing time. The pizza was a real highlight: a thin, crispy base with a fluffy crust – just what you'd want. A couple sitting next to us were enjoying pasta dishes, and they also seemed very satisfied. The quality is excellent, the prices are absolutely fair, and the overall package impressed us. We're happy to give it 5 stars and will definitely be back!

The average rating of 3.1 reflects our impressions. The Frutti de Mare pizza I ordered was, unfortunately, only adequate. Garlic dominated the flavor, the seafood was bland, and the pizza base was nothing special. The calzone, on the other hand, tasted okay. Overall, we were full afterward, as the portions were generous, so we give it a 3/5 for the food and a 5/5 for the very friendly server.

We arrived today and wanted to eat an Italian pizza. What we got was anything but Italian. The pizza tasted of garlic, and the dough was like cake batter. The tortellini was probably microwaved, and the portion was very small. I'm still waiting for my Alsterwasser. Not recommended.

I was there with my children on May 1st. The kids' pizzas were like edible paper. My salad was forgotten. When I asked the waitress about it, she hadn't even noticed I wanted one. When it was finally brought to me, I really regretted it. For a whopping €17.90, I was served some iceberg lettuce, a few arugula leaves, two slices each of tomato and cucumber, a cooked (not even half) chicken breast, and some dressing at the very bottom of the plate. Everything was just thrown into the plate. Not even properly cut. The taste was correspondingly bad. Outside, the seating was literally table to table, like sprats in a can. The waitress was constantly squeezing between the chairs. You could almost touch your neighbors. Sorry, but I'd rather have a few fewer tables...you could hear every word, whether you wanted to or not. We left the place €45 less, and still hungry. Never again.

Very small pizzas. Elsewhere, these would be called mini pizzas. They lure customers with low prices, but relative to the size and the amount of ingredients (in our case, this was minimal, with a maximum of one slice of cooked ham on the entire pizza), they were extremely expensive. One thing I also noticed: it had hardly any flavor and was only minimally seasoned (oregano, etc.). Conclusion: A flavorless mini ham pizza with a poorly poured 0.3l pilsner for €15... well...

Good food and good service. We ate there today and we all thought it was delicious. The pizza was great, and so was the schnitzel with hunter's sauce. Fresh and delicious. Can't complain. The service was very friendly and attentive. The only thing that would be nice is if you could pay by card.

Takeaway, portion ridiculous! A few tortellini were placed side by side in an aluminum packaging tray, more of a children's plate instead of a normal portion and then the food wasn't even remotely warm. (We had to walk about 400 meters) Afterwards we had to go to another restaurant so that we could finally fill our stomachs. And the waitress was very keen on tips even though we had ordered takeaway. A little over €30 for both of us... there's a delicious Greek restaurant around the corner where you can fall into bed well-fed for just a few euros more :)

We waited for a pizza for more than half an hour, when I asked when the pizza would be prepared, the waitress answered me rudely. One of the guests even left because he waited so long for his pizza. The pizza is delicious, but after this long wait, you are happy about everything. As a bonus, you don't accept card payments here and you also have to wait around 10 minutes for payment. Unfortunately, total chaos.

When we were given a burnt Margherita pizza, we only noticed when we got home that the pizza was black! It's an outrage to knowingly give away such a burnt pizza! We really can't recommend this pizzeria to anyone!

We ate a portion of arrabiata and a pizza parma there. The staff was very friendly from the start. The pizza was tasty, but the size was perhaps a little too small for the price. The arrabiata tasted rather bland and lacked spice. Since there was no parmesan on the table, we asked for it and then brought it as a small portion. When we paid, we discovered that an extra two euros had been charged. I think this is inappropriate; a tip-off would have been the least the Italian could have done.

The food wasn't great, but OK. In my opinion, it's way too expensive for the portion you get. My son ordered chicken breast fillet with fries and salad for €18. There were two small pieces of fillet on it. What is positive, however, is that blankets are already provided for every chair in the outdoor area at lunchtime, as it is not that warm at this time of year.

Service was very friendly, nice and tried very hard to ensure that everything was perfect! We had pizza, a pasta dish, a large salad as well as an ice cream sundae and a crepe! Without a long wait! Absolutely top value for money when you compare the other local restaurants! Not exaggerated and not overpriced either! No tourist rip-off like other restaurants on the promenade! We'd love to come back!

Absolutely not recommended. After we still couldn't place an order after more than an hour, we spoke to the waiter ourselves. The waiters were super understaffed and overwhelmed. It took about 2 hours until we finally had our food and drinks. Some of the drinks were wrong and some of the items on the menu were sold out. In our opinion, if they can't keep up with it anyway, they shouldn't have offered any additional out-of-home sales.

We waited almost an hour for a pizza and a vegetable casserole. The wait wasn't worth it. The pizza was undercooked. Taste wise, a disappointment. My vegetable casserole was okay, but the portion was a joke for the price. €13.50 for (baked) two or three small pieces of broccoli, three slices of zucchini and some mushrooms with onions is quite steep. The service staff tried hard, but was totally overwhelmed.

Unfortunately not recommended. Our drinks were brought to a neighboring table, which we didn't notice at first and it wasn't part of our job to notice something like that. When the waiter brought them their correct drinks, he noticed that they were wrong and a small discussion arose between the neighboring table and the waiter, which is why we became aware. We told the waiter that these must have been our drinks. The neighboring table said that they had asked the waiter if they were on the house because these drinks were not ordered, but the waiter simply dumped the drinks and didn't respond. Then the waiter asked the table next door seriously if anyone had already drunk some of it and when they said no, would we just take them or if they had to be new ones. We wanted new ones, after all the drinks were sitting at a table with people who were complete strangers to us for easily 10 minutes. The drinks were not left at the neighboring table but were cleared away. It took forever for the new ones to arrive and I doubt that they were really new😕 Unfortunately the Aperol came in a normal glass, not visually appealing at all, so I expected more for €7.90. The pasta was swimming in runny tomato sauce and was firmer than al dente. The pizza was very tasty, a bit thin but edible, hence the 2nd star. In the end, a €2 service fee was added to the bill. Disgraceful for such poor service.

Very disappointing...had dinner here this evening. Since it was very full, we waited a long time (about 1 hour), okay, you can understand that. But the food really wasn't good. You should really avoid Spaghetti Carabonara here... old pasta, old bacon and very dry, no trace of egg yolk. Pizza was okay, but nothing special. Falls under the tourist trap category! Never again!

Too bad! You can eat pizza, they can. As for the fish, that's not possible at all! Already fried on the outside and raw on the inside. From the outside the restaurant looks rather inconspicuous, but inside there are over 40 seats with a pleasant atmosphere... The staff were very friendly and attentive throughout. We had a starter of bruschetta and then 1x tortellini with cream sauce and gratinated cheese and 1x something vegetarian Verdure Miste, a casserole gratinated with cheese which consisted of champion, zucchini, broccoli and tomatoes in a tasty tomato sauce. Entertaining waiting times and that Price performance for this region is absolutely ok. I can recommend it without hesitation

Only one (minus), which is actually a PLUS, is that the waiting time was around 20 minutes, but that's because the food is freshly prepared, so you're happy to wait more than 10 minutes. We had schnitzel with homemade hunter's sauce and spaghetti, and both tasted excellent. A very clear recommendation!! Thank you

I was looking forward to an authentic Italian meal with a traditional atmosphere. Unfortunately I was disappointed. I ordered spaghetti aglio e olio, but it was almost completely missing olio. I had to point this out to the waiter, but he claimed that this dish was sold daily and was the best you could get in the area. Despite my complaint, I had to pay for the spaghetti even though I only ate a little of it. In a restaurant that offers takeaway food, I also expect card payment to be possible. However, the waiter said that this was not possible. When I suggested withdrawing money, I was told that I would have to leave my ID as collateral until I brought the money. A truly disappointing experience made worse by the unfriendly service. For the future, I just want to say: Don't pretend to be Italian if you're not. I expect a certain level of quality and service that was unfortunately completely lacking in this restaurant.

We wanted to eat hazelnut ice cream and that's what we got there. The ice cream parlor advertises homemade ice cream... certainly this term is not defined in more detail under food law, but this ice cream was so watery and tasteless that 2 euros per scoop is not justified. By homemade ice cream I mean a certain quality... I'm a little worried about the owner's nose or what about Pinocchio?

Long waiting time, no friendliness from the service, the light went out in between, only cash payment possible. 4 people - and we get 2 napkins... We had to repeat a small extra request (an extra empty plate) because it was forgotten. When the food finally came, it was relatively tasty (pizza + bruschetta). However, one pizza corner was pretty black. The baguette slices in the bruschetta were super thin and extremely crispy. And until you're "allowed" to pay, you have to wait again...

Poor service. The Arab waiter was unprofessional and unnecessarily rude. He rejected the tip because he deemed to be "too low".

First I was served the wrong salad, then a new one was brought, but there was a shard in it that I almost swallowed. I was still asked to pay for the salad and was made to feel guilty by the waiter saying that otherwise he would have to pay for my meal. Absolutely outrageous!!!

The food in the resteraunt is good. The staff is friendly in the Pinocchio ice cream parlor opposite, but the ice cream is not so well prepared, almost everything is empty, there are hardly any things left in stock and then the price is not exactly justified

The food is terrible. The cheapest frozen pizza, the grilled chicken was a mistake, the mushroom sauce was bitter and like it was bought from a package. Very expensive and bad. I ate it because I was really hungry, but it's better to eat a roll from the bakery next door. I do not recommend !!! Even though the service was really nice and friendly.

Chaos in the kitchen. We waited over an hour for pizza to go, which unfortunately wasn't worth it. After 30 minutes it was “finished immediately”, haha. In the end, one of 3 pizzas was black on top and bottom, especially the one for our children. My otherwise very patient wife complained about this. The Italian pizza maker couldn't stand that at all and complained that he only let his mom tell him something. To his credit, it has to be said that he was completely overwhelmed by the chaos of the others. Basically, the store is missing a woman who can keep things in order. Some guests left before their food arrived because they didn't feel like waiting. We couldn't do that because we had to pay in advance. The pizza was slightly larger than a children's pizza and tasted modest, although the dough was quite good. Hefty prices for ice cream and crepes. In Timmendorf we ate very well everywhere else.

July 2024: MAIN SHOP (👍🏻): Delicious pizzas at fair prices in this environment. Service super friendly and child-friendly! Ambience outside kept very simple (outdated outdoor advertising, all tables very close together, simple metal chairs/tables, no lighting...). Inside I can't say anything. Colorfully mixed audience. Unfortunately, EC payments were not possible for us - but Volksbank and Sparkasse are within walking distance. ICE CREAM PARTY (👎🏻): Dessert can be ordered in the pizzeria if desired. At the end we got a scoop (2 EUR each) in a croissant. Rather small standard selection. Not really outstanding either. Next time we'll try a different ice cream shop.

Beware of the tourist trap! We went to the ice cream parlor and ordered milkshakes. The prices weren't signposted, but a milkshake couldn't be that expensive - we thought. When we paid we were shocked: €8 per milkshake! That's really more than outrageous for 2 scoops of ice cream with a little milk and cream! Quality or taste absolutely couldn't justify these prices either. A ball is already overpriced at €2 anyway. The ambience was also very mediocre and it felt like the same three songs were playing over and over again.

I ate some spaghetti ice cream there. Quality is fine, but for a little cream, 2 scoops of ice cream and a little strawberry sauce €8 is cheeky. In addition, without being pointed out, there were brittle sprinkles instead of white chocolate sprinkles.

Pizza Hawaii basically without a base like baking paper..5 pieces of pineapple on it and very very little cooked ham!
