Restorant Pizzeria Eisdiele Pinocchio in Timmendorfer Strand

Closed even though Google said it was open. Also no notice on the door or anything like that. Didn't seem like an emergency. And then be surprised when inner cities die out.

We ate a portion of arrabiata and a pizza parma there. The staff was very friendly from the start. The pizza was tasty, but the size was perhaps a little too small for the price. The arrabiata tasted rather bland and lacked spice. Since there was no parmesan on the table, we asked for it and then brought it as a small portion. When we paid, we discovered that an extra two euros had been charged. I think this is inappropriate; a tip-off would have been the least the Italian could have done.

Food was very tasty, quick, very friendly. Nothing more needs to be said about this

The food wasn't great, but OK. In my opinion, it's way too expensive for the portion you get. My son ordered chicken breast fillet with fries and salad for €18. There were two small pieces of fillet on it. What is positive, however, is that blankets are already provided for every chair in the outdoor area at lunchtime, as it is not that warm at this time of year.

Service was very friendly, nice and tried very hard to ensure that everything was perfect! We had pizza, a pasta dish, a large salad as well as an ice cream sundae and a crepe! Without a long wait! Absolutely top value for money when you compare the other local restaurants! Not exaggerated and not overpriced either! No tourist rip-off like other restaurants on the promenade! We'd love to come back!

The only restaurant in the area where price and performance are right. The staff very friendly and accommodating. Been here twice in one day and we'll be back, highly recommended. The coffee was delicious and the spaghetti was super tasty, fresh and tasty, that's how it should be

Small restaurant in Timmendorf. The pizza (Diavola) was very good. The service was very friendly. Seating available outside on the street. Despite being a tourist town, the prices are quite humane. Would love to come back

Absolutely not recommended. After we still couldn't place an order after more than an hour, we spoke to the waiter ourselves. The waiters were super understaffed and overwhelmed. It took about 2 hours until we finally had our food and drinks. Some of the drinks were wrong and some of the items on the menu were sold out. In our opinion, if they can't keep up with it anyway, they shouldn't have offered any additional out-of-home sales.

Very polite staff but pizza not that tasty unfortunately. We also charged for 2 large cappuccinos, but had normal ones. No tip for that. Don't come back.

We had pizza and pasta. Taste ok but not more. The price/performance ratio definitely doesn't fit here. Pizza was really small and sparsely topped, pasta was also more of a children's portion

We waited almost an hour for a pizza and a vegetable casserole. The wait wasn't worth it. The pizza was undercooked. Taste wise, a disappointment. My vegetable casserole was okay, but the portion was a joke for the price. €13.50 for (baked) two or three small pieces of broccoli, three slices of zucchini and some mushrooms with onions is quite steep. The service staff tried hard, but was totally overwhelmed.

Unfortunately not recommended. Our drinks were brought to a neighboring table, which we didn't notice at first and it wasn't part of our job to notice something like that. When the waiter brought them their correct drinks, he noticed that they were wrong and a small discussion arose between the neighboring table and the waiter, which is why we became aware. We told the waiter that these must have been our drinks. The neighboring table said that they had asked the waiter if they were on the house because these drinks were not ordered, but the waiter simply dumped the drinks and didn't respond. Then the waiter asked the table next door seriously if anyone had already drunk some of it and when they said no, would we just take them or if they had to be new ones. We wanted new ones, after all the drinks were sitting at a table with people who were complete strangers to us for easily 10 minutes. The drinks were not left at the neighboring table but were cleared away. It took forever for the new ones to arrive and I doubt that they were really new😕 Unfortunately the Aperol came in a normal glass, not visually appealing at all, so I expected more for €7.90. The pasta was swimming in runny tomato sauce and was firmer than al dente. The pizza was very tasty, a bit thin but edible, hence the 2nd star. In the end, a €2 service fee was added to the bill. Disgraceful for such poor service.

Very disappointing...had dinner here this evening. Since it was very full, we waited a long time (about 1 hour), okay, you can understand that. But the food really wasn't good. You should really avoid Spaghetti Carabonara here... old pasta, old bacon and very dry, no trace of egg yolk. Pizza was okay, but nothing special. Falls under the tourist trap category! Never again!

Too bad! You can eat pizza, they can. As for the fish, that's not possible at all! Already fried on the outside and raw on the inside. If you tell the waiter, he asks what he has to do and wanted to say I'll stand there myself and go through the fish. It was put on the grill a second time, but I think it was more of a pan and still not cooked through. I don't want to know how they handle meat. The noodles were extremely al dente crispy. From the outside the restaurant looks rather inconspicuous, but inside there are over 40 seats with a pleasant atmosphere... The staff were very friendly and attentive throughout. We had a starter of bruschetta and then 1x tortellini with cream sauce and gratinated cheese and 1x something vegetarian Verdure Miste, a casserole gratinated with cheese which consisted of champion, zucchini, broccoli and tomatoes in a tasty tomato sauce. Entertaining waiting times and that Price performance for this region is absolutely ok. I can recommend it without hesitation

Very, very nice and caring service, great food and SUPER TOP PRICES! Thank you very much! I don't understand why the ratings here are so low! Only one (minus), which is actually a PLUS, is that the waiting time was around 20 minutes, but that's because the food is freshly prepared, so you're happy to wait more than 10 minutes. We had schnitzel with homemade hunter's sauce and spaghetti, and both tasted excellent. A very clear recommendation!! Thank you

The most expensive way to eat badly. An imposition. Never again.

I was looking forward to an authentic Italian meal with a traditional atmosphere. Unfortunately I was disappointed. I ordered spaghetti aglio e olio, but it was almost completely missing olio. I had to point this out to the waiter, but he claimed that this dish was sold daily and was the best you could get in the area. Despite my complaint, I had to pay for the spaghetti even though I only ate a little of it. In a restaurant that offers takeaway food, I also expect card payment to be possible. However, the waiter said that this was not possible. When I suggested withdrawing money, I was told that I would have to leave my ID as collateral until I brought the money. A truly disappointing experience made worse by the unfriendly service. For the future, I just want to say: Don't pretend to be Italian if you're not. I expect a certain level of quality and service that was unfortunately completely lacking in this restaurant.

2 spaghetti ice creams for 12.50 each, very unloving and different sizes, it was okay 🫤.. There was no coffee with milk.. because we didn't have any cups for it.. Coffee wasn't tasty and the latte machiatto was so hot that it wasn't drinkable.. Drinks took a long time long . Friendly

Yesterday we and 8 people bought 15 scoops of ice cream for €2 each. Almost all different types. The only thing that tasted a bit was strawberry. Everything else looked good, but tasted almost nothing like anything. It's a shame for so much money

We wanted to eat hazelnut ice cream and that's what we got there. The ice cream parlor advertises homemade ice cream... certainly this term is not defined in more detail under food law, but this ice cream was so watery and tasteless that 2 euros per scoop is not justified. By homemade ice cream I mean a certain quality... I'm a little worried about the owner's nose or what about Pinocchio?

Long waiting time, no friendliness from the service, the light went out in between, only cash payment possible. 4 people - and we get 2 napkins... We had to repeat a small extra request (an extra empty plate) because it was forgotten. When the food finally came, it was relatively tasty (pizza + bruschetta). However, one pizza corner was pretty black. The baguette slices in the bruschetta were super thin and extremely crispy. And until you're "allowed" to pay, you have to wait again...

Poor service. The Arab waiter was unprofessional and unnecessarily rude. He rejected the tip because he deemed to be "too low".

First I was served the wrong salad, then a new one was brought, but there was a shard in it that I almost swallowed. I was still asked to pay for the salad and was made to feel guilty by the waiter saying that otherwise he would have to pay for my meal. Absolutely outrageous!!!

The food in the resteraunt is good. The staff is friendly in the Pinocchio ice cream parlor opposite, but the ice cream is not so well prepared, almost everything is empty, there are hardly any things left in stock and then the price is not exactly justified

As a Hamburg resident, I found the prices extremely reasonable, it was absolutely delicious and the service was very friendly. The food was ready quickly and I don't understand all the bad reviews!

Poor quality of food + inflated prices = rip off. If you don't have any alternatives, it's better to go to the supermarket and get something there.

The food is terrible. The cheapest frozen pizza, the grilled chicken was a mistake, the mushroom sauce was bitter and like it was bought from a package. Very expensive and bad. I ate it because I was really hungry, but it's better to eat a roll from the bakery next door. I do not recommend !!! Even though the service was really nice and friendly.

We ate there 2 days ago and well the ziegeunerschnitzel was the size of a girl's hand and the sauce only tasted of tomatoes, fried potatoes without onions and bacon and floury too So far we have only had bad experiences with restautants in Timmendorf -.-

Chaos in the kitchen. We waited over an hour for pizza to go, which unfortunately wasn't worth it. After 30 minutes it was “finished immediately”, haha. In the end, one of 3 pizzas was black on top and bottom, especially the one for our children. My otherwise very patient wife complained about this. The Italian pizza maker couldn't stand that at all and complained that he only let his mom tell him something. To his credit, it has to be said that he was completely overwhelmed by the chaos of the others. Basically, the store is missing a woman who can keep things in order. Some guests left before their food arrived because they didn't feel like waiting. We couldn't do that because we had to pay in advance. The pizza was slightly larger than a children's pizza and tasted modest, although the dough was quite good. Hefty prices for ice cream and crepes. In Timmendorf we ate very well everywhere else.

The pizzas were small and had very few toppings. The pasta dish was not hot. All dishes tasted very bland. On top of that, everyone was stressed and we had to wait a long time for the food. Complaints were not responded to... typical tourist trap unfortunately

Nuggets Pomme €8.90 and my children aged 5 and 8 were not full. You could count the fries on the plate so sadly. And my husband's pizza was black on the edge and hardly any toppings on it. Never again.

The ice cream was delicious. €2 per ball is a bit too expensive. Just under 200 meters away is an ice cream parlor that offers ice cream for €1.50. Otherwise recommended.

Both of our pizzas were delicious and had enough toppings. But the ambience could be a little better.

July 2024: MAIN SHOP (👍🏻): Delicious pizzas at fair prices in this environment. Service super friendly and child-friendly! Ambience outside kept very simple (outdated outdoor advertising, all tables very close together, simple metal chairs/tables, no lighting...). Inside I can't say anything. Colorfully mixed audience. Unfortunately, EC payments were not possible for us - but Volksbank and Sparkasse are within walking distance. ICE CREAM PARTY (👎🏻): Dessert can be ordered in the pizzeria if desired. At the end we got a scoop (2 EUR each) in a croissant. Rather small standard selection. Not really outstanding either. Next time we'll try a different ice cream shop.

You should be ashamed. My little daughters were charged 13.60 euros for two crepes. Really bad number. The designation of the prize is missing or at least was not apparent. Was the small shop opposite the main shop.

Yesterday we went to the pizzeria and just wanted to eat a little something. My daughter ate the bruchetta and I had the antipasti plate. We were pleasantly surprised by both. The antipasti were beautifully presented and very tasty. The service was super friendly and asked several times whether everything tasted good. The espresso was also very good. We found the ice cream sundae too expensive at 12.50. We were given a very nice farewell.

Yesterday we bought some ice cream. It was by far the best ice cream we've eaten. the seller was very friendly and also took time for our little son. The ball costs two euros, which I think is totally fine for a vacation spot like Timmendorfer Strand.

30 minutes until the order was taken even though the store was almost empty then waited another 30 minutes for 2 pizzas and ended up paying €30.20 for 2 pizzas and a coke

Very tasty food, the pizza, the soup, everything was very good. The staff is absolutely attentive and accommodating. You get better quality than in the overpriced restaurants around!

Beware of the tourist trap! We went to the ice cream parlor and ordered milkshakes. The prices weren't signposted, but a milkshake couldn't be that expensive - we thought. When we paid we were shocked: €8 per milkshake! That's really more than outrageous for 2 scoops of ice cream with a little milk and cream! Quality or taste absolutely couldn't justify these prices either. A ball is already overpriced at €2 anyway. The ambience was also very mediocre and it felt like the same three songs were playing over and over again.

I ate some spaghetti ice cream there. Quality is fine, but for a little cream, 2 scoops of ice cream and a little strawberry sauce €8 is cheeky. In addition, without being pointed out, there were brittle sprinkles instead of white chocolate sprinkles.

Pizza Hawaii basically without a base like baking paper..5 pieces of pineapple on it and very very little cooked ham! Tortellini were exactly 10 pieces and here too the ham had to be looked for...sorry, a complete impudence for almost 15 euros We won't be coming back... because going home hungry wasn't our plan.

We went to Sea Life on Sunday & were hungry later. So we strolled through the city and the name PINOCCHIO smiled at us. AND NO THAT'S NOT A LIE (!!!!) 🙂 We receive very friendly service. And I have to say: WE HAVEN'T EATEN SUCH A GREAT, DELICIOUS PIZZA FOR A LONG TIME. And the price was completely reasonable. Unfortunately we live almost 100 km away, otherwise we would always come back. Thank you for everything. The only thing is that you can only pay in CASH, but there is a note hanging everywhere. And the toilets are also very clean.

I really don't understand the bad reviews. The prices are good (everything around is extremely expensive), the service was friendly and the food was delicious. Starter soup, 2 pizzas and 2 drinks €32. The map is large.

The atmosphere there is really cozy and welcoming, especially when I spend time with my relatives. It's surprising that it's so quiet here. It would be a shame if the negative feedback stopped people from enjoying the great offers. Despite some negative reviews, I think the food, service and friendliness of the staff are really praiseworthy. It is also practical that you can take food and drinks with you.

I don't actually write reviews...but here it just has to be. This juice shop deserves ZERO STARS. This shop doesn't deserve to be called a pizzeria or restaurant. Here you just leave money lying around for what? Here is our unfortunately incredibly negative experience in August this year. We were assigned a table after a short time, but it was completely dirty and still had used cutlery from the previous guests. Unfortunately, no effort has been made to change this. After half an hour we finally made our presence known and asked for a menu, which was then thrown on the table with the statement that there was so much here and that he was stressed. We told the waiter everything was fine, we can see what's going on. Another half hour later we asked the waiter again if we could please order and we could get drinks after an hour of waiting. He said again "it's so stressful". I still polite and smile friendly at him. After a good 15 minutes we got our drinks and so we sat for another 45 minutes sipping the drinks and waiting for our food. Then finally the appetizer arrived... but where is the baguette offered on the menu? Wait again until the waiter walks past. The waiter, who was not very nice to all the guests, started complaining and said they would get fresh, warm pizza bread straight away. We were surprised...the menu actually says baguette...but we thought it was delicious no matter. Well... the pizza bread flew in the basket onto our table and once again pure disappointment... it was cold and rubbery and had been in the basket for so long that it had taken on the shape of the basket. Well, we still didn't have any fresh cutlery! Pointed this out to the waiter...cutlery came...so well we start eating the starter...and it was really bad...far from really good Italian food. But no matter now you are here. So now the waiting continued...yes, really waiting again. Guests who came after us left full. We and a few others were now sitting at our seats looking very annoyed, the waiter was walking quickly and telling each guest several times "I'm stressed" and waiting for our food. Then the main course arrived...and the WRONG FOOD arrived!!!!! We said something a little louder. Enough is enough. We were then directly insulted by the boss - we don't have to eat here!!!! Meanwhile, shortly before 9 p.m., we and our two children still haven't gotten anything to eat. We were very patient after all on vacation but what we experienced here is unprofessional, incompetent and disgusting. Oh yes, I haven't even mentioned that the waiter served the whole time with a bloody hand wrapped in a towel or a Zewa because the boss didn't have a band-aid. So yes, it's a mess and has absolutely nothing to do with good food. We paid for our drinks and starters and stormed out angry, disappointed and hungry. We have never been treated so poorly as guests. A lady was there with four children who seriously got the wrong food three times. Another Italian saved our evening.

Unfortunately, lamb was dry and burnt if the wrong cook was in it 😆

Trotz der negativen Bewertungen habe ich heute eine Salami Pizza zum mitnehmen bestellt, und sich zügig bekommen. Für 9,50€ war das ok. Zum Glück haben wir uns nicht hingesetzt, um einen schönen Abend zu genießen. Für den hohlen Zahn am Strand war das ok, mehr auch nicht. So traurig wie der Emoji hab ich auch geguckt…

Noch nie so schlecht gegessen und so lange gewartet! Das Essen für das Geld ist eine bloße Unverschämtheit! Pizza vom Discounter hat mehr Geschmack. Service? Hier nicht! Gäbe es Minussterne, würde ich diese alle komplett vergeben.

Ziemlich chaotische Abarbeitung der Bestellungen. Reihenfolge wirkt oft recht zufällig, das haben auch andere Gäste bemängelt. Habe eine Stunde gewartet, andere nur halb so lang. Pizza an sich geschmacklich solides Mittelmaß. Könnte etwas größer sein.

Die Pizzen waren auf jeden Fall lecker, mir persönlich war an diesem Tag ein kleines bisschen zu wenig Salz im Teig, das ist aber mein persönlicher Geschmack, meinem Mann hat seine Pizza mit Meeres Früchten sehr sehr gut geschmeckt. Mir hat meine Pizza auch gut geschmeckt, so sollte eine Pizza sein. Der Rand war schön kross und ich hätte mir im Nachhinein doch noch eine Kräuterbutter bestellen sollen😊 das Team war auch sehr freundlich und die Toilette (Damen) waren ebenfalls sauber. Also von uns aus gerne wieder. Vielen Dank und weiterhin alles Gute, wir kommen bestimmt nochmal eine leckere Pizza essen. 🌻🌻🌻🌻

Es gibt drinnen und draußen Tischen für 2 oder 4 Personen. Die Portionen sind vielleicht etwas klein aber alles sehr lecker

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Ambiente ist auch nicht schlecht. Das Essen ist künstig aber leider auch nicht so gut und kleine Portionen.

Classic Pizza Salami bestellt, mega lecker & sehr schnell zubereitet. Haben es mitgenommen und einige Meter am Meer gegessen, es war sehr Romantisch und empfehlenswert.

Waren in unserem Urlaub zweimal dort, mit Hund und Kind. Das Essen war jedes wirklich lecker und der Service war auch super freundlich 👍🏻

Nach einer ausgiebigen Shoppingtour sind wir in der Pizzeria eingekehrt..Wir haben uns für Schnitzel entschieden..Es war eine gute Wahl und wir sind sehr zufrieden gewesen..😋Keine lange Wartezeit und eine sehr freundliche Bedienung.🙂Man trifft sich eventuell beim nächsten Besuch..Bis bald..😘

Schnelle und leckere Pizza zum Mitnehmen

Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Preise hierfür und angemessen und ein sehr freundlicher Service. In meinen Augen waren im Verhältnis nur die Getränke sehr teuer, deshalb ziehe ich einen Stern ab (zum Vergleich: Wiener Schnitzel 11,50€ die Cola dazu 4,90€)

Aufgrund einer Empfehlung sind wir trotz durchwachsener Bewertungen hergekommen. Wir können diese negativen Kritiken überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Alle Gerichte haben fantastisch geschmeckt und wurden trotz vollem Haus sehr schnell und heiß serviert. Der eine Herr im Service war trotz sichtbarem Stress dauerhaft freundlich, aufmerksam und hatte den ein oder anderen lustigen Spruch parat. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen und raten jedem dazu, sich selbst ein Bild zu machen! :)

Aufgrund der schlechten Rezensionen haben wir gezögert, wollten uns aber doch selbst ein Bild machen... Auf den Dienstagabend war es sehr voll, die Bedienung war trotzdem super nett und gut gelaunt und die Wartezeit für 3 Gerichte absolut in Ordnung (< 30 min). Das Essen war richtig lecker, wir gehen auf jeden Fall nochmal hin. 👍🏼

Waren alle sehr freundlich und wurden herzlich empfangen. Essen war auch sehr lecker und war schnell fertig gewesen. Immer wieder gern.

Wir hatten zwei Pizzen, die an sich in Ordnung waren, jedoch teilweise verbrannt. Der Service war schnell, jedoch als wir Bar, wie der Laden es verlangt, bezahlen wollten und sogar noch Trinkgeld raufgelegten wurde es etwas komisch. Der Kellner nahm sich das Geld, bedankte sich, und sah, dass noch ein paar 1 und 2 Eurostücke in der Hand meiner Freundin lagen. Er fragte mehrmals, ob er das Geld haben könnte, dass wiederholte er mehrmals, worauf wir jedoch meinten, dass wir das noch für die Rückfahrt bräuchten. Daraufhin griff er in ihre Hand und versuchte sich das Geld zunehmen. Wir sagten wiederholt das wir genügend Geld und auch Trinkgeld geheben haben. Dann meinte er plötzlich er würde es tauschen gegen passende Scheine, als wir wieder verneinten, wedelte er mit seiner Hand und verschwand. Dann sind auch wir aufgebrochen…

Portionen könnten etwas größer sein.

Sind mit 6 Leuten da gewesen ich muß sagen sehr lecker. Bedienung ist auch freundlich gewesen immer wieder gerne kann ich echt empfehlen.

Ein sehr grmütliches Restaurant. Das Essen frisch und sehr lecker. Personal und Bedienung sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit Sanitäre Anlagen sehr sauber Klare Weitererempfehlung.

Der Service war super freundlich. Sternabzug gibt es nur, weil keine Kartenzahlung möglich war. Schade in der heutigen Zeit.

Wir sind paar mal hier gewesen haben wir so wie die selbstgemachte Eis auch das essen Probiert. Es war einfach LECKER 🤤 immer wieder gerne 😉 Ps. Immer nachfragen ob die Tiramisu da Ist eine muss wenn man hier zu Besuch kommt ❤️
