We ordered a carbonara, hoping to get a REAL carbonara without cream. When the watery carbonara arrived, we asked if it had cream in it. The waiter said that if we wanted an original carbonara, then we should have said so😂 Pasta not al dente, but much too hard. Starter was forgotten and brought later when asked. These were also far too oily and watery.

Delicious pizza and the price was good too. Paid a total of 27 euros for 2 pizzas and pizza rolls with herb butter. There is a separate “counter” for pickup orders. Card payment is possible.

Delicious food, nice ambience and all-round very good service. We ended up with 3 courses for 4 people at 109€, which is good value for money given the quality. We will be back definitely

Wir waren als Paar mit Kind unterwegs, haben am selben Tag reserviert und einen netten Tisch im Aussenbereich bekommen. Personal war aufmerksam und freundlich, das Essen kam sehr rasch. Leider waren die Pizzen "nur" im guten Mittelfeld, die Pasta war sehr gut. Preislich sehr in Ordnung bzw. angemessen.

The people waiting in front of the restaurant were unpleasant, as they were laboriously processed and escorted to the table. 1 very nice cellar otherwise moderately friendly stressed.

An absolutely amazing restaurant! The staff is super friendly and children are taken seriously, served in a friendly manner and treated with respect, no matter how old they are. The food is excellent. I've never had such good Italian food at such a reasonable price. We've been there several times, the restaurant is always full but the waiters don't seem stressed or annoyed. Even requests for space (preferably a table with a corner bench to put the baby down while eating) are accepted and accommodated. The ambience is simple, but you can feel comfortable there and I don't eat because of the table decorations. I can absolutely recommend this restaurant

The food was delicious but we waited 30 minutes until we were brought to our reserved table. It took 20 minutes until we got our drinks. We couldn't keep up. It was quite nice inside but it was a lot warm. The waiters rarely came to us to ask if we needed anything. That's why I won't visit the store again.

Really nice place. The food is actually nice, but not the biggest portions, and have tried slightly better pasta and pizza. But worth the money compared to the tourist area. Not a tourist trap

Da leider alle Plätze belegt oder reserviert waren, haben wir uns zur Mitnahme von 4 Pizzen entschieden. Freundlicher und schneller Service. Mittleres Preissegment. Sonderwünsche (statt Zwiebeln bitte mit Paprika) würden problemlos und ohne Aufpreis umgesetzt. Geschmacklich jedoch für einen echten Italiener sehr enttäuschend. Pizzateig sehr dünn und trocken, kaum belegt. Schmeckt nach nichts, bestimmt nicht nach Tomate, Käse, geschweige denn Thunfisch. Schade! Da ist sogar Dr. Oetker besser. Vom zweiten Versuch einen Tisch zu ergattern, nehmen wir daher dann doch leider Abstand.

I don't know if the chef has changed or what the problem is. We visited Ciao Ciao twice within a week and each time the food was acceptable at best. No comparison to before, what a shame. We will not visit the restaurant again

Here is my impression from summer 2023: You read the reviews, see the prices and go to Ciao Ciao expecting to get the best pizza you've ever tasted. The reality, however, differs far from this idea. I found the staff to be snooty and unfriendly, and the food to be rude and more reminiscent of a ready meal than an Italian pizza. Price and performance didn't match at all and I can't imagine giving the restaurant a second chance.

Very tasty Italian restaurant where you can get a table spontaneously/without reservation even during the holidays and on weekends. The pizza is highly recommended and the service is friendly! 5/5 :)

The Ristorante Ciao Ciao is a nice Italian restaurant. After a short wait in the entrance area, we were escorted to our table. The service was attentive and very friendly. As a starter we had champions in garlic sauce, gratinated with cheese, which was very tasty. We also ordered the bruschetta. Unfortunately, we have to say that this was served somewhat carelessly and hardly seasoned. For the main course we ordered pizza. This was very tasty and nicely prepared. The dessert (chocolate cake and tiramisu) was a successful conclusion. Lovingly prepared and very tasty. The price-performance ratio was great. Many thanks to the team at Ristorante Ciao Ciao.

Food itself was delicious! But you should definitely make a reservation! Dessert is highly recommended!

The service was top. Everyone was super friendly. The meal went like this, the pizza and the lasagne didn't arrive at the table really hot. The taste was okay. However, here you felt like you were being processed. When we arrived there were 3 tables occupied in the outside area, the rest were free. We were told they only had one table available for 1 hour, that would have been until 6:15 p.m., everything else was reserved. It was strange that the guests who came after us were offered other free tables until 7 p.m. So it's okay for a quick meal. Otherwise not recommended.

Wow! Was there with my mother, we had starters, a main course and some drinks, the service was thoroughly Italian, thank you for this lovely holiday moment!

Very friendly service and delicious food.

The food was quite good, we had pizza (10€ for a margarita; pizza with tuna 13€). However, we were placed directly in the blazing sun, which was very uncomfortable. The waiters were constantly changing, which was a bit strange. Otherwise it was a manageable atmosphere, nothing special. We would look for another restaurant next time.

We chose this Italian restaurant because of the many good reviews. When I reserved a table by phone, the communication wasn't particularly friendly, but the service later made an effort and was nice. Unfortunately, the food was far below our expectations. We had pizza and pasta and we didn't like it. Of course this is just a subjective opinion, but we wouldn't eat there again.

Simply good. Despite the location being very full, we managed to get a seat with a very short wait. Very friendly waiters despite a lot of work. No stress was passed on to the guests, which is what I hope for in all restaurants. Pizza was good, just like a little more tonata sauce next time ;) Pasta was very tasty. Most importantly: eat the damn chocolate cake after the main course. You will get the 8€ back twice with a taste experience! Simply heavenly. If we were here more often, we would be in the restaurant every evening.

Had to wait about 45 minutes for the food, it's a shame we could have made more of it. I would describe the quality of the food as average.

The staff was very friendly and quiet despite being busy. This pizzeria also caters to children. We didn't have to wait long for our delicious pizzas.

Sehr gut besuchtes Lokal in Timmendorf. Reservierung ist durchaus geboten. Bedienung höflich, freundlich und fix, trotz enormen Gästeandrangs. Auch eine etwas anderen Variante z.B. vom Vitello ,aber sehr lecker. Die gewählten Pizzen waren gut belegt und geschmacklich wirklich weite vorne. Nachtisch rundet die Sache dann auch lecker ab. Alles zusammen ein schöner und "leckerer" Abend. Das geht auch echt mehr als nur einmal.

At 50 euros for two people, it was quite cheap in Timmendorf and tasty too.

In Timmendorfer Strand angekommen und nach einem Lokal für ein kleines Mittagessen gesucht. Dann haben wir zufällig dieses Lokal entdeckt. Aus der Tageskarte haben wir uns einen gemischten Salat und ein Saltimbocca mit Pilzen in Cremesauce. Das Essen war sehr lecker und hat uns beiden sehr geschmeckt! Das Salatdressing und die Pilze waren hervorragend! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Gerne wieder ….

The Ciao Ciao on Timmendorfer Strand left an ambivalent impression. The food was average but not remarkable. Unfortunately, the extremely unfriendly waiter marred the experience considerably. While the food served its purpose, it lacked the sophistication to stand out from other restaurants. Considering the poor service and mediocre food, I will not be returning. There are numerous alternatives that have a lot to offer both in terms of cuisine and service.

After we had very good experiences in this restaurant last year, we went to dinner with great anticipation. Unfortunately nothing was right, first the wrong drink was served, then the food was unfortunately very weak. My lasagna arrived lukewarm, was not seasoned at all and tasted blander than I have experienced in years. The same applied to my wife's pasta, which was far too under-seasoned. The garlic was probably just added to the cooking water. When I asked if it tasted good..."No"..nothing came up... The fact that two "sophisticated" couples at the next table had a nice, loud evening didn't make our experience any better... Very unfortunate...

Ein tolles italienisches Restaurant. Ich hatte ein Nudelgericht, einfach Spitze und auch der Wein/Lambrusco war von einer tollen Qualität . Hier kocht wirklich noch ein echter Italiener:-)

La familia. Tutto bene! Nicht nur so daher gesagt, sondern auch gelebt. Sehr gastfreundlich und herzlich, man hat das Gefühl, als ob man nach Hause kommt. Jeder Wunsch wird mit einem offenherzigem Lächeln erfüllt. Gemütliches Ambiente, toller Hauswein und leckeres Essen von der Vorspeise bis zum Nachtisch sind ein Genuss und wir werden beim nächsten Aufenthalt hier auf jeden Fall wieder einkehren. Schade, dass es leider nur so wenige gute Lokale gibt, wo wirklich Alles stimmt.

Gut besuchten Restaurant mit freundlicher Bedienung und gutem Essen.

Sehr schönes modernes Ambiente. Authentische italienische Atmosphäre. Außergewöhnlich nettes Personal. Hervorragende italienische, frische Küche.

Sehr schönes Lokal mit leckeren Speisen. Auch der Service wird dort noch gross geschrieben. Rundum zu empfehlen

Wir wunden freundlich begrüßt. Leider wurden wir danach zunächst vergessen, was sicher auch dem sehr vollen Lokal geschuldet war. Wir wurden anschließend aber sehr freundlich bewirtet. Das Warten hat sich mehr als gelohnt! Die Lasagne und die hausgemachten Nudeln mit Gemüse und Pute in Kurkumasauce waren ausgezeichnet. Mein Begleiter hat sogar noch eine zweite Portion Lasagne bestellt, weil sie so großartig war. Auch der Hauswein, die Panna Cotta und das Schokoküchlein waren eine 10 von 10. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Von vorne bis hinten ein Top Restaurant, das Essen war eine 10/10 und auch die Mitarbeiter des Restaurants waren unglaublich freundlich und sympathisch, klare Empfehlungen für jeden der ein außergewöhnliches Restaurant besuchen möchte :)

Ganz spontan hin und ganz spontan einen Tisch bekommen, obwohl das Restaurant recht voll war. Ich war nur im vorderen Bereich, was eine Art Wintergarten darstellte. Dieser wurde mit Heizpilzen warm gehalten und überall auf den Stühlen lagen Decken, so dass es einem nicht kalt werden sollte. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienung super freundlich. Alles ohne langes Warten. Zu meiner Pasta mit Lachs gab es einen alkoholfreien Aperol - noch nie zuvor getrunken - super lecker 😋!!! Das Ciao Ciao ist definitiv einen Besuch wert 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Super Bedienung, Pizza war super lecker und auch die Preise sind absolut fair. Wir kommen beim nächsten Besuch definitiv nochmal vorbei.
