Extremely rude staff. Avoid at all costs.

There are many options for Italian cuisine. Highly recommended. What's nice about it is that the restaurant is located right in the center next to the Frauenkirche.

one of the best Tiramisu i had in dresden. very good view just opposite to Frauenkirche. on a nice summer day you can enjoy it till evening with the view, right company beautiful pleasant weather and the right food.

Homemade pasta with salmon and a view of the Frauenkirche. Nothing more is possible. Attentive cellars, very good mixed drinks and the food tastes fantastic. Gladly again.

Waiters were nice and attentive. But the food has nothing in common with Italian cuisine. Unfortunately, neither spaghetti carbonara nor tiramisu tasted good. The double Ramazzotti was barely a simple one when you subtract the ice cubes...very disappointing.

There is no shortage of Italian restaurants in Dresden. You can get a good pizza or pasta everywhere. The only difference is that this restaurant has a super nice location. Opposite the Frauenkirche and with a really nice terrace. The food is OK. The problem is that it is overpriced. That likely has to do with the location, but there are plenty of places around the church that simply offer better food & cheaper drinks. 0.75l sprudel for more than 8 euro? Service is OK.

The waiter was very nice and spoke good English. The food was excellent! We had a delicious large stone oven home made pizza with a bottle of good Italian wine and a home made tiramisu.

Decent food, but an absolutely awful staff. I do not recommend! We wanted to ask for the bill and signaled to the waitress several times. The last time I signaled to him, he put his head down and started laughing and pretending that he wanted to enter the restaurant. Absolutely embarrassing and embarrassing. Plus they seemed very bothered that we only speak English.

Ate here with 10 people. Everyone is happy, satisfied and fed up. The service is very courteous and fulfills special requests even during busy times.

Food is top notch, service extremely poor. Received the wrong dish twice, which of course can happen, but this was not handled very kindly. Had to wait a long time for the table to be cleared, eventually asked for the bill which also took 20 minutes. When I waved to the waiter and gestured “hello, are you coming?” the waiter asked if I could speak normally. Finally got the bill.

The positive first...the menu came very quickly. Nothing more happened. The waiters stood bored at the front of the house and didn't even respond to someone waving. After 20 minutes we went to the pizzeria across the street.

Great atmosphere but… I am shocked at the quality of the food. Middle class. The owner should control the quality of the food. Top location, prices at the top level. Quality of the food is middle class. I know you can do better! I am from Dresden. But that's just gastronomy for tourists. No longer for Dresden regulars!

We had to wait a long time for the recordings. The beer was warm and the food was cold, very small and expensive. Of course there is a great atmosphere right next to the Frauenkirche. Was ok but 1x is enough.

It's been a long time since I've been visiting Dresden and I've been to this restaurant several times. But this time it was unfortunately very bad and way too overpriced. The location is great, it's really nice to sit here. But, but, but! Waiters would rather chat than serve guests. The food-Penne all' Arrabbiata pasta, the simplest kind without anything, pure tomato sauce, €16.50, 0.7 liter Pellegrino €8.50, that's a complete rip off. If at least the quality had been right, the pasta was unfortunately still sauced stretched with water. Even when the waiter mentioned the shortcomings, there was no apology. But apparently the restaurant is only tailored to tourists, who come once and then never again. It's a shame, as a former Dresden resident I find this very sad, as I really enjoyed eating there when I visited again. Unfortunately not anymore. Just keep it up!

A little expensive at first glance... But only at first glance. Absolutely amazing food. Cutting pizza with scissors is a great gimmick in a great restaurant!!!

Gestern wunderbar gegessen. Das Ambiente war einfach traumhaft. 🥰 Schnelle und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Danke wir kommen gerne wieder. Die Pfeffersoße war auch super lecker 😋 aber vergessen zu fotografieren.😄😘

Nice ambience. Nice waiters. Two stars deducted for the portions that were much too small. I come to you to get full and not to be hungry after eating pasta! Almost no pasta under 18€, price and portion not justified.

The one star is for the location. Rude to the point of not being possible anymore. The food isn't great either, no better than in a company canteen. Not recommendable. There are much better options for eating and drinking in the surrounding area!

Everything tasted okay, everything happened quickly. The ambience is classic, unchic promenade seating. Unfortunately the portions are very sparse. We had the burrata and bruschetta for a total of €21, the bruschetta was a slice of bread with tomatoes 🍅.

Everything about this place was fantastic. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and helpful. All with a great view across neumarkt. We went back again on our stay and each time was wonderful.

Years ago, Classico Italiano was our favorite restaurant. The singer/manager greeted everyone personally, he always made a few jokes, he sang (especially for the ladies, of course) and everything was peppered with Italian charm and typical Italian warmth. The young waiters (some Italians themselves) were friendly and just the few Italian words like Buonasera, Prego, Arrivederci and the singer's longing songs gave you the feeling of "being in Italy for a short time" in the middle of Dresden. Today we were there again after a long time. I no longer felt anything about “Italy”. It was quite a mass dispatch. The waiters still speak accents today, just not Italian :-( But, hey, that was part of the magic. The appetizers were just as good as before, but that was the only thing. The pizza (with seafood) was extremely "sparingly" topped (not to say "absolutely stingy"); our dear singer was there, but didn't sing a single song. It looked "worn out" (which is not surprising after so many years) and you no longer had the feeling of being hosted by a team of Italians. But guys, that's why I'm going to the Italian restaurant! Otherwise I can go to any pizzeria. The pizza and beer taste the same there. This restaurant has "grown"... lots of tables on the street, plus the Longue (PS: the boss personally took care of the Longue guests.), but the charm for us as normal guests is gone. I'll have to find another Italian so I can "feel on vacation" on a cozy evening.

Too expensive for the service provided, the bruscetta, well a slice of bread with tomatoes, is really poor for the price, the lasagne is overcooked and has no taste and the portion is quite meager for the price. Probably along the lines of, you won't see people again anyway.

We were in Dresden again today and were able to enjoy a lovely evening in this restaurant. Today we just enjoyed the drinks……Super tasty from the champagne to the cocktail……the service was also super nice and made good recommendations about the drinks. We'd love to come back.

We were in Dresden for three evenings and actually wanted to visit different restaurants. Luckily the first restaurant was this wonderful Italian restaurant at the Frauenkirche. It was so delicious and the service was so excellent that we decided to spend all evenings here. And it was the right decision. On the last evening we ate the fantastic truffle pasta and were spoiled not only by the culinary delights but also by the extremely attentive, polite and competent service. All the service staff are great. Our special thanks go to Mahmoud Hayek, who rounded everything off perfectly. Little insider to Mahmoud: chilled Bardollino really tastes better. Super tasty, authentic food that I only know from Italy. The chef personally comes to the table and inquires and advises the guests, the boss also likes to sing accompanied by the piano and the service staff is always attentive and friendly.

Probably the best thing about this restaurant is the location. I enjoyed my vacation in Dresden for 3 evenings on the balcony with the fantastic view of the Frauenkirche. The food was very tasty. And the staff were so sweet, nice and friendly that you felt very comfortable. On my next trip to Dresden I will definitely eat there again.

Worst Italian restaurant we've ever been to...and at the same time the most expensive. The "cocktail" for 8 euros consisted of a glass of sparkling wine with a bit of peach syrup. The starter was ok, but also too expensive for the portion and the pizza bread we ordered was a dry, fake impudence. We ordered 2 pizzas, which we received after multiple requests after over an hour. The pizza was bone dry, tasteless and had the chef's hair on it...the service was simply non-existent...slow, unfriendly and insulted when there was no tip. We were here twice: the first and last time. It's a shame about the great location.

The taste of the food was okay, but we had to wait about 90 minutes for our food, which was only brought after we asked several times.

The Italian restaurant with its diverse offering is a very good alternative to the "home-style" dining environment in the cultural city of Dresden, which is well worth seeing. The food is very tasty and the service is very attentive and friendly.

Great location under the shadow of the great Basilica of Our Lady of Dresden-Frauenkirche. We came here for Easter Lunch 2024. Food was classic Italian Fare. We had the grilled Octopus and Grilled Branzino with a bottle of white wine and a macaron ice cream dessert with some grappa as digestifs. Everything was fresh and well prepared. Price was reasonable. Service was fantastic.

Consistently solid restaurant in a good location. Pleasantly designed inside, the food was tasty if not excellent. The prices for an Italian correspond to the location. There is little reason for locals to go to the restaurant, but for tourists it is definitely a good idea.

Direct location with a view of the Liebfrauenkirche, great ambience, stylish restaurant with live music. Very tasty pizza in the upper price segment, appropriate given the location. However, the outdoor service still has real potential for expansion: - Only one ticket for three people. - Drinks placed on the table without being assigned to the guest, to be assigned and poured yourself. - There was no demand for food. - Service was very busy with itself and just scurried past and couldn't be contacted for at least 10 minutes to ask for an invoice, even though our place was directly at the entrance door on the outside area. Therefore overall not a full score. We'll try again...

What can I say...if there were 10 stars to give, I would give 10! Food absolutely top 👍🏻 Service at it's best...simply great! We were with a dog..and you shouldn't believe it: the waiter came immediately with water AND a cake plate with cooked ham and vegetables/salad..unseasoned..and asked if our little one could have it..of course free of charge...we still have something like that never experienced it...great!

This has nothing to do with Italian cuisine, it's just a trap. I have never eaten such bad spaghetti allo scoglio in Dresden (didn't eat it back), overcooked pasta, 30g frozen seafood maximum, tomatoes sause even with canned acid, no love for cooking, disgusting. The waiter was really angry when we complained and left the food behind. We just wanted to get out of this place. I paid the full price, I wanted that too, but I said my opinion that it was bad with you. And we don't need to write about hygiene. Don't be ashamed?????????

We visited tonight by chance and will definitely be back. The food was delicious, every wish was fulfilled without any problem, and the service was very accommodating and friendly. After our culture in the evening, we came here for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised. The greeting from the kitchen was very tasty with the hot mini pizza rolls. We liked everything else too. The older gentleman in a vest even brought an Italian musical serenade to a table. Which was great. Of course, the view of the Neumarkt with the Frauenkirche is also impressive.

Leider enttäuscht. Es führte eins zum anderen. Der Olivenöl-Spender leckte, dass die Finger voll waren, die Kellner wirkten einstudiert& unnatürlich. Merkt man sich nicht den korrekten ital. Namen des Gerichts oder die Speisen-Nr, wird man blöd korrigiert. Der Pizzateig schmeckte seeehr weizenlastig und geschmacklich umgehauen hats uns nicht. Die Ravioli waren fad& geschmacklich majoranlastig. War wohl nicht unser Tag.

Trotz touri Lage ein wirklich guter Italiener, der auch nicht übertrieben teuer ist. Einzig die Bruschetta mit burrata hat mich etwas enttäuscht. 1) war die Portion wirklich sehr übersichtlich für fast 10€ und 2) wurden so kleine Party Tomaten (gelb und rot) verwendet die ich hierfür eher unpassend empfinde. Die Hauptgerichte und das anschließende Tiramisu waren aber wirklich gut und die Portionen auch!

Es war mal mein Lieblingsrestaugant aber ich bin enttäuscht. Die Karte abgespeckt okay damit Lebensmittel nicht weggeschmissen werden aber trotzdem 4 Garnelen mit 2 Möhren 28 € und..mmm naja haut mich nicht um. Ich hoffe es wird bald besser werden.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant, teilweise mit Blick auf die Frauenkirche. Der Service ist perfekt, familiäre Atmosphäre, sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung! Das Essen war sehr lecker, bei angemessenem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Den einen Punkt gibt es, da der Cappuccino schön tempariert war. Ansonsten gibt es keinen Punkt. Ein total unfreundliches Personal, fast schon genervt.

Server was offended by the fact we spoke English. He then insisted we ordered something we did not-he came to table and argued that we did order. He was unkind, rude and respectful. It would have been Better if he said I only understand a little English and unable to serve you. Do NOT give this business your Euros!

Sehr freundliche und professionelle Bedienung. Pizza war herausragend gut, wir hatten nach einhelliger Meinung noch NIE außerhalb Italiens so gute Pizza. Die Preise sind sehr fair kalkuliert. Just nach dem Essen begann Livemusik mit Klavierbegleitung, wir sind dann noch für einige Biere geblieben. Ein wirklich authentisch italienisches Erlebnis, ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Wir waren zum Essen. Das Lokal ist ordentlich und sauber. Die Speisen dem Ort entsprechen ein wenig höher. Aber das Essen war gut. Die Bedienung war schnell und zuvorkommend. Also soweit alles gut.

Leider ist es selten so. Perfekte Location, perfekte Bedienung und perfektes Essen. Die wenigsten Restaurants in Toplagen bieten vergleichbares Niveau. Hier stimmt alles, selbst der Preis ist dafür absolut berechtigt. Gern wieder.
