I highly recommend Losteria. The food was really good, and you don't have to wait long for your meal. I'd love to go back!

I wanted to be served outside, but was told there were no waiters. When I went inside to ask if we could be served, four waiters were standing there, discussing things. What a pity... (The weather was nice)

Honestly, we ordered food from Losteria. Not only did it take TWO hours for the food to arrive, but they also delivered the wrong pizza rolls, everything was cold, and my lasagna was missing altogether. Unfortunately, we couldn't hold back the delivery person long enough to quickly check if everything was there. By then, it was too late: Losteria isn't reachable by phone. Every time, they immediately snub us before we even speak. So, I never got my lasagna. In the end, you can say: lousy service, cold food, and all in all, terribly disappointing. I wouldn't recommend anyone to order from there. It's just a shame!

Syga with heart – hats off to this achievement! I'm not really a fan of chain restaurants. A restaurant wins me over with its personal character, the creativity of the cuisine, and the chef's individual touch. That's why I've never reviewed restaurants in a chain. But I'm deliberately making an exception for L'Osteria. What the two Nuremberg founders, Friedemann Findeis and Klaus Rader, have built over the past 25 years deserves my respect – and my frequent visits. I'm now an (irregular) regular at two Dresden L'Osteria branches: at the main train station shortly after it opened in late 2016, and more recently also on Hauptstraße, near the Goldener Reiter (Golden Rider). While I don't expect any culinary highlights there – to be honest, I can't even judge the food – the overall package is simply perfect. The service is remarkably professional, friendly, and personal. Despite clear procedures, you can sense a warm atmosphere from the greeting to the farewell, something that many owner-operated restaurants lack. An ideal place for my Lugana after-work wine. At the end of 2024, there were over 180 L'Osteria branches in nine countries, of which about 35% are operated directly by the company, the remaining 65% by franchisees and other partners. And yet, as a guest, you never feel like you're sitting in a generic fast-food restaurant. This speaks volumes about a strong corporate culture. For me, L'Osteria's success isn't based solely on huge pizzas or good marketing. What's crucial is the lived conviction to maintain the high quality of the gastronomic service and to evoke emotions in guests through credibility that encourage them to return. You can feel this authenticity – and it's precisely this that sets L'Osteria apart from many other fast-food restaurants. Anyone who thinks chain restaurants can't be warm and authentic should be proven wrong in a L'Osteria.

Ideal for hungry travelers, it's located near the main train station at the entrance to the shopping district. It's quite busy during rush hour. Friendly service and good quality food.

Based on our experience of L‘Osteria chain Italian pizza, we reserved a table at Prager Straße. Ordering of food and beverages took less time, however a pizza was burned with burning holes in it and they delivered a non ordered pizza. In order to prevent the disposal, I decided to take it. After serving the food it was hard to get a service person for another drink. Even after ordering, this order was lost. So I was waiting for the espresso, which is by the way one of the best and worth it to try. After starting a complaint, the manager gave some discount. For me it’s clear, that I will not come back. Instead of this, try other locations of L‘Osteria at Neumarkt or close the Golden Rider at Neustadt. It was a kind of disappointing visit.

We always enjoy coming here when we are in Dresden. Maik was very polite and competent when providing advice.

I got a Caesar salad (without chicken) and a pizza for my daughter. The salad is an absolute joke for €11.50! The salad bowl was almost empty (1 handful of lettuce) and neither tomatoes nor parmesan was available. It was just a green salad, nothing more. The pizza was dry and the mozzarella was missing. Just put 2 tomatoes cold on the pizza, that’s it. That was the most bland takeaway meal I've ever had. I would be ashamed if this customer's kitchen was included.

Have been here many times and have never been disappointed! We usually opt for the very large pizzas and share them between two people. The service is very fast and friendly despite the large number of guests, and the kitchen is just as fast. Clear recommendation ☺️

Great place with delicious food! My family and I tried three pizzas: the spicy salami, capricciosa, and arugula. My favorites were definitely the last two — so tasty and well-balanced. Their house-made lemonade was also amazing — I had the orange one and it was absolutely top-notch! The only downside was that the waitress forgot to cut the pizza, so we had to wait a bit, and by then it had slightly cooled. I also found it odd that the plates were smaller than the pizzas themselves, which made sharing a bit tricky. Overall, still recommend! 👌🏻

The staff is nice, in a good mood and very hardworking. I like the pizza best at L'Osteria on Prager Straße in Dresden, even though it is a chain restaurant. The trip from Chemnitz to Dresden is worth it (combined with shopping 😉)

5 stars – Where pizza becomes a religion and a waiter wins your heart I entered L’Osteria on Prager Straße like a hungry traveler entering the promised land. With the first breath, the smell of freshly baked pizza was mixed with a pinch of Italian joie de vivre - and then it came. The waiter-Abdu. Enchanting, charming, with a smile that even makes the parmesan on the pasta melt. He balanced huge pizzas with the grace of a ballet dancer and served up recommendations that sounded like poetry. His service wasn't just attentive - it was a symphony of timing, friendliness and that little extra that you can't learn: genuine warmth. The pizza? A work of art. The pasta? As if conjured by Nonna herself. But what really made this evening unforgettable was the feeling of being welcomed - as if you were not a guest but part of an Italian family. Grazie, L'Osteria. And to the waiter: You were the real main course of the evening and with the cream sandwiches in the kitchen, the eye also eats ;)

My visit to L'Osteria on Prager Straße was a great experience all around. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent service: our waiter Abdu really made the evening perfect. Particularly commendable: Despite the full house, Abdu always took time for a smile and small personal gestures that made the service truly exceptional. L'Osteria always surprises very positively: the pizza really tastes excellent and stands out from its competitors. They are also really big and will fill even the hungriest of bellies. Even when it was busy, we didn't have to wait too long and were able to take away a particularly impressive experience: on one corner you can watch the pizza-making process. The staff was always friendly and tried to make the stay as pleasant and pleasant as possible. All in all: great! Worth a recommendation :)

We come here often because we find the food very tasty. The pizzas in particular are highly recommended and are really very large. If your accommodation is near Dresden Central Station, LOsteria is the best option. Pizzas are huge and super tasty and Aperol is perfect too. Service is also super nice! Definitely a recommendation!

We eat there on April 13, 2025 and the food was good value for money and we all (4 people) enjoyed it. The only drawback was that the music was too loud so you couldn't have a proper conversation. But everything else was good.

Not recommended for drinking coffee. It all took forever, the espresso was below average for an Italian and was already cold. For dessert we ordered a dessert with strawberries, it was half on top... and the icing on the cake... the ice cream was in a paper cup.

For a lot of money we got good-ish food that was kinda blunt and was lacking taste. Our server wasn't talking english with us, which would be understandable if he would not knew any, but he clearly understood us, so it kinda felt like he is making fun of us. Pizza wasn't good either, I couldn't taste anything beside oily super smokey sun dried tomatoes. Lasagna was good but just blunt. The only tasty thing was a coffee and tiramisu. 2 stars

Unfortunately the service is hardly available. There were 5 employees chatting at the bar and we were noticed, but everyone was too comfortable to move a few meters towards us. After several minutes, half the restaurant shouted: “for two?” Whereupon we said yes... then it was made clear to us that we should look for a place ourselves. Drinks were just put down and not poured. In general, the service was unfortunately very lackluster and not pleasant
