We showed up here at lunchtime with about 14 people without a reservation. We were allowed to sit down immediately and were able to pay individually without any problems. Gladly again every time.

The food is super tasty and the portions are huge for the price, especially the pizzas, but you can easily take the rest with you. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, has romantic tables and a bar that is very aesthetic. The only thing that wasn't quite right for me was the volume of the music, as it became really tiring after a while with the volume of the other guests. But the toilets are very quiet and clean. All in all, the restaurant is very good to visit.

The food was very tasty. The service and the staff are very friendly. The only small problem was that there were so many people there so the food took a bit long. Overall this restaurant is very good.

Margherita pizza is so delicious

Great pizzaria in the center of Dresden and within walking distance of the stadium (perfect for a concert, for example..)! The central location means it's easy to walk around, but you just have to look a little beforehand to park your car. Our food impressions: The pizza looked awesome, was super fresh, served with a smile and SUPER DELICIOUS! Very hot tip: barbecue chicken!! Brilliant! Otherwise: Nice atmosphere, super nice team, drinks were on the table in 5 minutes, food for 7 people came practically at the same time after 30 minutes, fair prices and a super central location. Summary: Thank you very much and always with pleasure!!

L'Osteria is actually always good. Good location, ambience and good food. Unfortunately there is a massive lack of service (at least on Prager Straße). It's understandable that the food sometimes takes a long time, especially at peak times. In the worst case, waiting times are 45-60 minutes. It's much worse when the wrong food arrives, which unfortunately happens VERY often, especially when you make adjustments to the order. The last 4 times I've been there I've ordered a carbonara with whole wheat penne. The first time was right, twice the wrong pasta came and once the whole wheat penne came but with tomato sauce. After you've already waited a long time for your food, it's very annoying because it then takes exactly the same amount of time until you get the right thing. If you have something else to do you have to shovel the delicious food in and you can't enjoy it. I don't know where the problem is, but that's not the situation. An experience that is a bit older: You can order the pizzas with 50:50 toppings. I also strongly advise against it, because instead of topping a pizza 50:50, one half comes cold because it was cut off before some other 50:50 order. The second half may even come fresh, but then you can be sure that the other half will be there until the next suitable 50:50 order is received. If the wrong food comes, it's an unfortunate mistake. But the latter is just cheeky and has nothing to do with quality. It's a real shame because the food is really good!

The cafe surprised me so much that it’s impossible to even be upset. 1. At the very beginning the waiter was rude to us. With half the tables free, he demanded that we move to a smaller one. “What if large companies (the whole city at once) come to us?!” he asked. “Don’t make me nervous,” the waiter yelled at any objections. 2. What local waiters can do is ignore you. If you need something (to order or pay), you will have to go and look for them in person. 3. To pay, by the way, you still have to go to the counter. 4. This was the worst pizza of my life. Not cut. Terribly oversalted. For some reason, the seafood pizza came with a wild amount of tomato sauce (the cheapest and worst). Very few fillings of very poor quality.

We had a pasta dish with beef here it was fit for a king. My husband had a pizza that was gigantic in taste and size. We were served nicely and courteously. The atmosphere is very nice. Highly recommended.

Friday evening and full house - we had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated. The order was taken quite quickly and, given the busyness, arrived quite quickly. The service staff were very friendly and accommodating. When paying, we had to inform the service employee that we would like to get our remaining money back - because of this, tips were not given.

Positive points: kitchen open until late; wide choice of dishes; affordable prices; staff who speak English. Negative points: very slow service, not exceptional dishes (bland salads and not very fresh ingredients). We waited more than 30 minutes after finishing our dishes to be cleared and to order dessert, even though the restaurant no longer had many customers. We saw the waiter laughing with his colleagues or clearing empty tables. When paying, the waiter sees that we don't tip him (obviously) and doesn't say goodbye or anything. To avoid.

The two of us went to L'Osteria. The food was delicious. However, prices on the menu do not match real ones. My girlfriend had a Margherita pizza with additional toppings. I had a pizza funghi. Overall, both pizzas (due to the Magherita topping) would have had the same price. When the bill came, however, we were both charged for a Pizza Funghi with the actual Margherita topping, which incorrectly made the bill significantly more expensive. The waitress made no attempt to take our complaint seriously. Our subsequent efforts to explain the error to the staff also had no effect. Despite realizing that I was charged an incorrect surcharge, the staff refused to refund me the excess money I had already paid. My friend's argument about the increased price was that the toppings were only valid for half a pizza, which was nowhere on the menu (the staff also admitted this). However, on both of our invoices, a wide variety of prices were randomly thrown together, which neither corresponded to the claims of the staff nor to our orders. That's not how you treat customers!

Food was ok. The pizza is pretty decent. The Caesar salad was overdressed and the croutons were like soggy stale bread. Service was awful and I think it was because we were tourists as two tables seated after us were served first.

I don't know why this place's rating is so high. The number of servers, which is far too small compared to the number of guests, moves around without making eye contact with the guests, knocking over chairs or throwing food down on the tables.
