I've been there many times. It's always delicious and the service is great. Today, however, I felt ripped off. We sat outside the cellar very nicely. My two pasta dishes were no longer on the menu so I asked for them and the waiter immediately said no problem, how do you want them? So I ordered pasta with chicken broccoli in cream sauce and it was delicious as always. My companion had pasta with crab meat 26€. I simply paid €35 ​​for this dish, there's no gold on it. I used to pay around €20 for this dish. I feel really ripped off😕

We recently went to this restaurant and had a very unpleasant experience. We ordered two beers, each 0.3 liters for 7.50 euros. When we wanted to pay, it turned out that the bartender had added a 2 euro tip to the bill without our consent. When we asked him about it, he was very rude and said that all guests had to pay tips. He then asked us not to say anything to anyone and gave us the 2 euros back. The problem here is not money, but trust. Something like this shouldn't happen in any restaurant. To make matters worse, the table next to us had the same problem and was even overcharged by 5 euros. We have informed the manager about this, but whether anything will change remains questionable. Overall a very disappointing experience. We will not visit this restaurant again and cannot recommend it.

Delicious tiramisu cake but be careful, it's really tough. Price is a bit expensive for one piece 6 euros..... Otherwise everything was tip top. Nice service and nice cozy decor. You can go if you don't have to look at the prices.

We had an extremely friendly waiter served us the most delicious authentic tiramisu which was washed down with a cup of cappuccino.

The atmosphere is not bad, the chairs on the terrace are very comfortable and the noise of the cars is not annoying. We tried to order an iced coffee but couldn't get it because it wasn't possible. Cocacola is served in a glass without ice as well. The chocolate cake was large but seemed quite synthetic. The service was very good but we thought it was a little expensive for the product offered :)

De naam is hetzelfde gebleven maar er is een nieuwe eigenaar. De menukaart is afgeslankt en de gerechten zijn eenvoudiger geworden. Kwalitatief echter goed en ook zeer smaakvol. Blijft de moeite waard.

A family member and I came here to dine in for lunch a couple days ago, all I can say is that I think there are better options out there in Düsseldorf. Food was not bad, however customer service needs major improvement. We didn’t have to wait long for our food to arrive nor to be seated, however once we finished our meals our waiter seemed to have disappeared for a good 30-45 minutes afterwards. Therefore, no one ever took away our empty plates, offered us dessert, or asked if we were ready to pay. When we were ready to leave the establishment and pay the bill, our waiter still seemed to have disappeared and we had to wait for him to magically show up again. We only ordered two pastas, a cocktail, and a glass of water and somehow the bill turned out to be 57 euros. In conclusion, overpriced and don’t feel that I got what I paid for here.

Absolute scammers! Prices are very high and the quality of the food and the café does not reflect this. Approximately €5 (13% of the invoice amount) will be added to the invoice without being asked. The Ristorante Barolo is located inside the KÖ Galerie and not only can you eat great there, but the ambience is unique...here you can also see celebrities who really appreciate the friendly and individual service. No matter if it's "just for a cappuccino" or for lunch - it's definitely worth it 😍

17 euros for a water and a coke

The restaurant makes a visually appealing impression in the shopping center, the seating is very narrow and you sometimes bump into each other at the table next to you. The pizza we ordered (€17) was neither visually nor taste-appropriate for the price, the toppings tasted bland and like they came from a can. At other restaurants you would have gotten this “quality” for around €10.

We waited 45 minutes after ordering just coffee, but the order never arrived. The staff was unfriendly and disorganized.

Very average food.. pizza was ok.. very highly priced for the quality that they give . And make sure to check before paying the bill as they add more than 10% of the amount as service tax and don’t even inform while settling the bill

Absolutely unfriendly waiters. Would avoid the "restaurant" unless you crave poor service and mediocre cuisine. There are also some “games” being played here with the prices. You should take a closer look at the billing after your meal. Simply embarrassing.

The Barolo restaurant in the heart of Düsseldorf. I can only recommend the Kö Galerie. Our favorite waiter, Gaetano, reads your every wish and the food is so first-class that every journey is worth it. You can see the open kitchen from the table and everything is prepared fresh. Because of the good reviews, I even called and reserved a table (it wasn't necessary at all). I was traveling with my son and we wanted to spend some quiet time and talk. We got a place at the entrance, the waiters constantly walked back and forth past us and there were also customers who only took coffee and cake "to go". Rest is something different for me. I ordered a fish platter for myself and noodles for my son. Hmm... unfortunately it was a disappointment. The fish was swimming in oil and was over fried (too dry) and lettuce leaves were not fresh and I wasn't sure if they had been washed. The noodles were from standard packaging (i.e. machine produced for 2.00 euros from the supermarket). I also showed this to a waiter. And of course, they didn't have enough staff that day, the chefs canceled, etc. But I still had to pay 30 euros for the bad fish and 18 euros for pasta with some cheese. I received a package of Italian pastries as compensation for the fish dish, so 3 stars for the service, everything else wasn't worth a star. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

Wir waren am Samstag im Barolo.Leider hat es uns überhaupt nicht gefallen.Der Kellner hat sich zwar große Mühe gegeben aber das war’s dann auch schon.Die Getränke und das absolut schlechte Essen war total überteuert.Wir sechs waren uns einig das wir noch nie so schlechte Antipasti Platten bestellt haben.Die Pizza wirkte wie eine aufgepeppte TK Pizza und die Nudeln waren total geschmacklos.Schade Nachtrag:Ja natürlich.Die Preise waren vorher ersichtlich.Diese wären auch kein Problem gewesen wenn das Essen gut gewesen wäre!

Ob es nicht genug sei… das Essen absolut ungewürzt und er Lachs nicht durch …. Die Speisekarte wurde so extrem überarbeitet…. Schade denn die alte Karte war Mega…. Zu dem Kellner mit der Brille… wenn du Husten muss bitte nicht über die Tische wo das Essen steht und mal die Hand davor… ekelhaft verhalten wie ein Bauer!!!!

Das Essen war eine Katastrophe. Es sollte eigentlich Spaghetti mit Tomatensoße und Filet Reifen sein. Tomatensoße hatte nichts im Geschmack, annähernd etwas zu tun mit Tomaten. Filetstreifen waren einfach ein paar lieblose Stückchen Fleisch gebraten, die so hart waren, dass man sich fast die Zähne ausgebissen hat.der Preis ist für dieses schlechte Essen viel zu überteuert. Schade, dass wir auf das Ambiente reingefallen sind.

Schönes Ambiente, gerade jetzt auch in der Weihnachtszeit. Nur, selbst im Lokal, zieht es unangenehm kühl rein. Speisen gut. Getränke zu teuer. Es gibt eine Speisekarte über qR-Code. Leider kann man dann nicht direkt auch digital bestellen und bezahlen. Da ist man wieder auf einen Ober angewiesen, die sind überaus beschäftigt und es dauert, der dann die Bestellung auch noch falsch aufnimmt. Toiletten……. Fast untragbar und dann steht da auch noch eine Toilettenfrau mit Teller.. wenn ich für gutes teueres Geld konsumiere, möchte ich nicht dafür auch noch Toilettengeld bezahlen müssen, das ist lächerlich!

18 Dezember habe ich mit meiner Lebensgefährtin den Laden betreten. Um etwas zu essen bestellt haben wir eine antipasto Vitrine Für 13,50 € und Borata für 18,50 euro. Die Borata War groß wie ein Pingpong Ball und der Salat, der dabei war ohne Dressing und nicht gut gewaschen für ein Restaurant auf der Kö Galerie unter aller Würde daraufhin hab ich die Bedienung gerufen und habe es bei der Bedienung reklamiert Das Essen wurde daraufhin zurückgenommen und mir gesagt, das würde nicht in der Rechnung stehen daraufhin haben wir ein Hauptgericht bestellt ich habe ein Rumpsteak bestellt und mein Lebensgefühl ein Filetsteak beide Gerichte wurde mit einer Sauce aus Maggi,pulver und Geschmack Los serviert Als Beilage kam eine Mischung von Gemüse leicht gegrillt und Mikrowelle aufgewärmt am Ende bekam ich eine Rechnung 143,90euro Der Antipasto wurde trotz Rücknahme auf der Rechnung berechnet meine lebensgefertin hat 2 glässer Champagner getrunken o,1, wo das Glas 20 Euro berechnet wurde ich als Italiener habe mich so geschämt, dass eine solche Name so eine Fraß serviert. Nicht noch mal.

Wir waren das erstemal am Samstag Abend dort essen. Das Essen war Super lecker. Als Nachtisch hatten wir hausgemachte Tiramisu was auch sehr frisch und lecker war. Der Service war auch sehr freundlich. Es war ein tolles Erlebnis bei der schöne Ambiente, würden wir aufjedenfall wiederkommen.

So ein asoziales Laden habe ich mein Leben nicht gesehen. Ich würde hier keinen empfehlen, etwas zu essen oder was zu trinken. 1. als erstes so eine unfreundliche Bedienung hat die Welt nicht gesehen. Wir haben über ne halbe Stunde gewartet, erst mal für die Karte, um Getränke zu bestellen. 2. als Vorspeise haben wir Brustketa und Carpaccio bestellt. Beide enthielten Haare. 3. auf die Hauptspeise, was zwei Pizza waren und drei Nudeln haben wir über zweieinhalb Stunden gewartet. Als es uns dann zu lange war, haben wir die Bestellung abbestellt und sind aufgestanden und gegangen. Als Krönung verlangte das Personal und auch der Chef, dass wir sowohl die Vorspeise mit den Haaren als auch das Essen worauf wir zwei & halb Stunden warten müssten und trotz nicht erhielten zu bezahlen. Sowas unverschämtes kann es und darf es in Deutschland nicht geben. Dazu kommt noch ein leicht gefühltes Rassistisches Verhalten, vom Personal und auch dem Chef. NIE MEHR WIEDER NICHT ZU EMPFEHLEN!!! MFG

Lekkere cappuccino en Apfelstrudel. Helaas werd de Apfelstrudel pas geserveerd toen we de cappuccino’s al op hadden. Een dergelijke matige service past niet bij prijsniveau dat in dit restaurant word gehanteerd.

Personal zum Teil äußerst unfreundlich, lange Wartezeit, nicht zu empfehlen.

Tollen Ambiente.🩷 Im Hintergrund läuft italienisches Radio und drinnen ist es sehr gemütlich und schön gestaltet.

Suuuuper leckeres… feines, hochkarätiges Essen! Sehr zuvorkommender Service! Ein Chef der vor Ort ist und auf alles achtet und dadurch auch vor allem die Qualität für extrem ausgewürztes und feines Essen garantiert! Jeder der genussvoll essen gehen möchte sollte in DD Barolo auswählen🙏 Ich bin Feinschmeckerin und kann es wärmstens und mit Begeisterung empfehlen🙏 Danke an den Chef und die offene Küche! Es ist auch eine Freude sehen zu können, wie unsere vorzüglichen Speisen zubereitet werden und im Vorfeld die leckeren Gerüche wahrnehmen zu können.

Mittelmäßiges Essen Vongole fehlte alles an Gewürzen Bei der Zahlung von satten 110 Euro mit Karte hatten wir das Trinkgeld in der Hand , der Kellner wollte es annehmen und wir fragten nach einer Quittung, er kam ins Stocken , zog das Geld aus der Tasche und meinte die Rechnung würde ja schon 10 Prozent Trinkgeld enthalten!!! Eine absolute Frechheit!!!! Hätten wir nicht nach der Quittung gefragt wäre er für wenig guten Service reich belohnt gewesen! Fazit: nie mehr ! Hätten besser mal vorher hier die Rezessionen gelesen.

Das Carpaccio war ein Disaster, einfach nur Fetzen auf den Teller geklatscht, das aller schlimmste war die Mayonaise und Granatapfel! Der Kellner war überhaupt nicht daran interessiert uns nach weiteren Getränken zu fragen, zudem war der Preis eine Frechheit! Das waren wir aus dieser Lokation nicht gewöhnt! Sehr enttäuscht, als Kunde der lange Zeit da gehe! Ich wollte mit Karte zahlen und erhalte ich keine Rechnung sondern direkt die Summe 89,20 Euro auf die Zahlungsgeräte. Ich habe bezahlt und habe ich mir gedacht etwas stimmt nicht und habe ich die Rechnung gefördert. Der Kellner gibt mir die Rechnung und sofort geht weg. Wenn ich auf die Rechnung sehe, steht Tip 8,1 Euro ohne meine Erlaubnis oder Kenntnisse. Ich habe als Kunde immer Trinkgeld da gegeben aber auf dieser Weg war ich sehr enttäuscht!

Vorsicht Abzocke bei der Rechnung. Die Höhe der Getränkerechnung ist nicht das Thema. Wir befinden auf der KÖ. AAAAber, es wurde nicht erwähnt, dass bei der Endrechnung bereits Trinkgeld enthalten ist. 47.50 Euro. Eigenmächtig von 43.50 + Euro 4 Euro Trinkgeld. Wir hatten nur Getränke. Der Service steckte den 50,00 Euro Schein ohne Anmerkung ein. Als ich dann die Rechnung verlangte, merkte ich erst, dass bereits eigenmächtig Trinkgeld draufgeschlagen wurde. In Deutschland nicht üblich. Sogar für den Toilettengang musste man noch zahlen. Liebes Restaurant, war beruflich unterwegs und checkte ein paar Lokale ab. Aber auch an exponierten Stellen muss es vernünftig zugehen. Auch Touristen/Firmen können wiederkommen. Schade.

Lustig sich wieder als Student zu fühlen. So eine Pizza Tonno habe ich mir auch immer in den Offen geschoben. Der Laden hat mit italienischer Küche so viel gemeinsam wie ich mit dem Kaiser von China. Netter Kellner, der immer einen flotten Spruch drauf hatte…ob passend oder gerade nicht so. Nicht mal schade um das Geld, eher um die verlorene Zeit.

Prima pasta'tje, maar niet mega smaakvol. De carbonara was met room, maar wel lekker. Aan de prijzige kant gezien smaak/prijs balans. Je zit er wel leuk en de wijn (verdicchio) was goed.

Essen sehr lecker was hier am wichtigsten ist. Ambiente so lala, es ist doch schön drin aber man ist ja in einem Einkaufszentrum oder auf der Straße. Der Kellner hat die Augen verdreht, da wir keinen Trinkgelb gegeben haben. Die Rechnung war schon hoch genug (einige Speisen nicht gerade günstig).
