Schönes Restaurant mit lecker Essen. Leider etwas eng. Haben zur Feier des Tages sogar etwas geschenkt bekommen 👌🏼

Ich war immer gern im Barolo essen mit meiner Familie. Gestern das erste Mal mit unserem Baby. Ein gutes Restaurant zeichnet sich ein guter Service aus leider war es nun das zweite Mal dass Herr Mike uns schlecht und unhöflich entgegen getreten ist. Es gab weder ein Hallo noch ein danke noch hat man uns gefragt ob wir zufrieden sind noch ein hatte es ihnen geschmeckt . Einfach nichts. Er verzog sein Gesicht wie 7 Tage Regen Wetter. Er knallte uns das Essen hin und ging ! Einfach unverschämt! So gern wir auch da waren werden wir künftig nicht mehr das Restaurant besuchen.

Monatshighlight Risotto mit Kabeljau war sehr lecker. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundlichkeit. 👍

Wir zahlten 6,50 Euro für einen Cappuccino und 5,60 Euro für einen Americano. Wohlgemerkt, es war nur ganz normaler Kaffee, nicht einmal eine Spezialität. Außerdem hielten sich Obdachlose auf der Terrasse auf.

Top Essen, super freundliches Personal und dazu noch live Musik, die sich hören lassen kann. Strongly recommended 👏🎉🌟 Ich sehe gerade, dass ich vor zwei Jahren schon eine Rezension hinterlassen hatte. GENIAL! Wir haben nun Juni 2026 und es ist weiterhin großartig hier. Super leckeres Omelett mit Käse und Champignons gegessen, dazu knusprig frisch gewärmtes Brot mit feinstem Olivenöl. Der Cappuccino war auch fabelhaft, was will man mehr! Wir haben den Innenbereich nicht gesehen, alles spielte sich draußen auf der Straße ab, was bei dem schönen Abend aber in Ordnung war. Die Terrasse ist ein schöner Ort, um Leute oder Autos zu beobachten. Giorgio bediente uns schnell – und die Pasta war sehr gut, ebenso wie der große Salat. Es gab ein Missverhältnis zwischen den Getränkepreisen (12,50 € für eine 0,75-cl-Flasche San Pellegrino oder 8 € für eine 0,33-cl-Flasche Bier aus Tschechien, die nicht besonders gut und nicht richtig kalt war) und den Essenspreisen (im Vergleich zu den Getränken war das Essen sehr preiswert!). Für diesen Preis hätte ich ein eiskaltes, hochwertiges deutsches Bier erwartet, daher war ich in puncto Getränke etwas enttäuscht.

Fast 15 € für einen doppelten Espresso und ein kleines Glas Sprudelwasser, nicht empfehlenswert.

Wir sind extra auf dem Weg hierher gegangen, weil es fast fünf Sterne hatte, und es hat sich gelohnt. Ein nettes italienisches Restaurant in einem Einkaufszentrum mit einer großen Terrasse zur Straße hin. Das Essen war sehr gut und der Service erstklassig! Freundliches Personal. Es ist etwas gehobener als ein durchschnittliches Restaurant, und das hat seinen Preis. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

Es war ein perfektes Erlebnis. Wein und Steak waren köstlich. Vielen Dank für den hervorragenden Geschmack.

Sehr schöne und gemütliche Ambiente. Professioneller Service und eine ausgezeichnete Küche. Wir waren mehrmals bei Barolo und jedesmal konnten wir die super Qualität und Niveau des KÖ‘s bestätigen. Auch die außen Terrasse ein super Ort fürs entspannen und zum genießen des KÖs Feelings.

Freundlich, schnell und lecker.

Sehr schöne Lage an der KÖ, einfach top. Mein Latte Macciatho war soweit ok, kein Highlight gegenüber dem bei uns zu Hause, denke unser daheim ist spürbar besser. Ein schwarzer Kaffee, ein Cappuccino und ein Latte Macciatho für 20,10 Euro sind schon eine Ansage, aber gut, Preise stehen in der Karte, wem es nicht passt der könnte ja wieder gehen. Kaffee war soweit ok, Ambiente natürlich wirklich top. Wenn ich in einer Weltstadt wie Düsseldorf nicht mit meiner Amex zahlen kann, dann gibt es leider einen Abzug.

Für mich die beste Pizza die es gibt. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Wunderbar frische italienische Küche. Der Service war hervorragend. Das Essen kam schnell. Ich hatte die Nummer 51 von der Karte mit Garnelen, Tomaten und Öl. Mein Mann hatte Fisch. Beide Gerichte waren ausgezeichnet. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir waren rundum begeistert. Vom ersten Moment an fühlt man sich willkommen – der Service ist aufmerksam, herzlich und professionell. Das Essen war hervorragend: frisch, geschmacklich perfekt abgestimmt und wunderschön angerichtet. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Liebe zum Detail, sowohl bei den Speisen als auch beim Ambiente. Die Atmosphäre ist stilvoll und gleichzeitig angenehm entspannt – ideal für einen besonderen Abend oder auch einfach, um sich etwas Gutes zu gönnen. Hier stimmt einfach alles: Qualität, Service und Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Wir hatten am späten Vormittag italienischen Kuchen im Ristorante Barolo. Super lecker und gar nicht so süß. Dazu einen prima Cappuccino. Wir saßen dabei "draußen" in der Kö Galerie. Guter Service mit freundlicher Beratung bei der süßen Auswahl gab's auch.

Wir entdeckten das Restaurant bei einem Spaziergang durch die Kö Galeria und gingen hinein. Der Service und der Empfang waren freundlich. Die Minestrone, die Pasta, der Salat und die Trüffelkartoffeln waren köstlich. Die Preise schienen uns etwas hoch.

Als Nicht-Düsseldorfer ist man geneigt zu sagen: "typisch!"... Meine Jacobsmuscheln auf Feldsalat hatte ich erstens nicht bestellt (sollten mit grünem Spargel serviert werden) - aber mein diesbezüglicher Kommentar wurde vom bereits enteilenden Kellner geflissentlich ignoriert. Die Darreichungsform: 90 Prozent Feldsalat, eine (ordentliche) Vinaigrette, gehackte Walnüsse und die "Jakobsmuscheln". Allerdings gab es vielmehr fünf (!) Pétoncles mit jeweils knapp zwei Zentimeter Durchmesser. Da schüttelt man nicht nur wie ich als Wahlbretone traurig den Kopf. Wareneinsatz und Preis (indoor knapp 18 Euro) standen da in keinerlei Verhältnis. Das Ganze in der tristen Atmosphäre eines Einkaufszentrums. Immerhin: Wirklich guter Espresso. Vielleicht nur ein dem frühen Freitagabend geschuldeter Ausrutscher? Eine Empfehlung gibt es dafür allerdings sicher nicht.

Gutes Essen und hervorragender Service

Superfreundliches Personal und tolles Essen. Ich hatte den Wunsch, da ich allergisch bin, frisches Obst in den Yoghurt zu bekommen. Was ich lange nicht erlebt habe wurde dies ohne murren aufgenommen und super lecker umgesetzt!

The restaurant is very well located. The tuna pizza had absolutely no flavor. The final price was higher than the prices on the menu. Very disappointing.

Super! Ich habe einen Hafer-Cappuccino und einen Käsekuchen bestellt. Beides war köstlich! 👌 Danke!

We had coffee at the espressobar. 4€ for a espresso in a cardboard cup altho we stayed at the spotted. Also no water

The food was okay. Unfortunately, the staff made excuses for their mistake instead of admitting it! Very disappointing :-(

Be sure to say “I just want a coffee” at the begging… otherwise the waiter will yell at you for going inside to the “just for food area” (an advertisement will be VERY USEFUL 😒)

Food was okay and out server was nice. The biggest problem was the toilet. If you have to pay while dining it is weird. If the toilet is under shit its weirder and if the toilet lady does not want to return your change untill you ask 4 times it is even weirder

€8.80 for a 0.15L glass of house wine... ridiculous. Anyone who rips off their customers like that shouldn't be surprised by a lack of guests.

The restaurant was fantastic, Mr. Ferko provided excellent service, showed us to our table, we had a wonderful meal, outstanding pasta, everyone was very friendly and it was also quite funny at times, a great restaurant, highly recommended and to pass on ;))

The staff is very nice, the prices are a bit expensive.

The place is beautiful and clean. The food is delicious, especially the medium shrimp spaghetti, which is wonderful. The service is fast.

The tiramisu was very tasteless. A waste of money. And the drinks were overpriced.

It was cold in the shopping center, so the restaurant was not warm as well so we didn’t want to stay long... The spaghetti was a large portion. The service was good.

It was a first time for me here but not the last, The restaurant was full. Mr Ferko was so kind and I would like to thank him for his good hospitality. The food was very delicious.

Based on reviews and looks we expected a nice dinner, but it was disappointing. First we ordered an antipasti plate which was mostly fish, sea food and grilled veggies (not balanced, no carpacio, no mozzarella etc) and classic bruschetti. No olive oil in the mixture and no garlic, but onion which was again disappointing. The Vitello tonnato pizza sauce was way to salty. Overall 3 out of 5. Overrated

Excellent food and great service!

We tried the chocolate and strawberry cake and the cappuccino. They were all delicious. Our waiter, Gökhan, was very attentive. All the staff were very friendly and polite. We loved it and highly recommend it.

A lovely restaurant with excellent service and super fresh, high-quality food. For a family reunion, we had a portion of ravioli with porcini mushrooms, spaghetti Bolognese, penne arrabiata, and I had a pizza Margherita. For starters, we shared an antipasti plate with super fresh seafood and grilled vegetables. The bread also tasted homemade, and it came with a garlic dip. Unfortunately, I didn't notice the cake and pastry display until we were leaving, so we'll be back for coffee and cake. 😉 Everything was super fresh and freshly prepared, as well as of high quality. The pizza was excellent, and the pasta dishes were also incredibly good. (After all, as a family, you can always sneak something to try from someone else's plate 😉) Of course, the service matched the ambiance and was authentically friendly. Thanks for the lovely afternoon, and see you soon. 😉 P.S....the prices were reasonable, and €12.90 for the pizza was totally acceptable. The pasta dishes are also around €15, which is rather moderate considering the location and the setting on the Kö. 🔝👍

ordered four portions of shrimp aglio olio, they were absolutely delicious! The service was friendly & welcoming, with staff always smiling, which made the experience even better. Overall, I was very satisfied I also ordered iced tea, it was good, but it turned out to be bottled. A freshly made iced tea would have been an even nicer touch

As always, a fantastic meal. Very tasty, and the welcome has been enhanced by a super-friendly, personable young man who does everything to make you feel comfortable.

Wonderful Service, great ambiente within the KÖ-Mall and the food is really good and fresh. The photo I have taken shows the rest of the kid dish. My son (3 years old) nearly ate the plate and now loves Parmesan more than Italians love it! It‘s the first time ever he ate a kids dish and I‘m proud and happy. Great Restaurant, 5/5, will come again!

We returned to Barolo again and received a very friendly welcome, especially from the head waiter in the black sweatshirt. Super friendly service and delicious food, as always. We highly recommend it!

I had dinner at this fantastic restaurant. I was very impressed by the beautiful terrace, the delicious food, and the excellent service. A special feature of this restaurant was the exclusive guest service, which anticipated our every need and created an atmosphere reminiscent of a high-end Michelin-starred restaurant at moderate prices. An experience I wish everyone could share.

I came here for dinner and had an amazing experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. The food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. My waiter took great care of me and the other guests, always making sure every table received the best possible service. This is truly a fantastic place right on the Königsallee – highly recommended!

Beautiful terrace, great and attentive service, and the guests are taken care of here. Reasonable value for money. The food is delicious, especially the pizzas. I always enjoy coming here.

We decided to visit the Barolo restaurant today and initially couldn't get a seat, but the friendly head waiter made sure we left satisfied. The food was excellent, and we were very pleased with the service.

We ate at Barolo again today. The food was, as we've come to expect, very good, as was the service. Our waiter brought water for our two beagles without being asked, and he was always very friendly and attentive. We always enjoy coming back here.

We sat outside on the Kö - very nice location, but there was an ashtray on every table (they should only bring them on request) and crappy, sticky menus!

This is by far the best restaurant I've ever visited, and I've been to many. Everything is just perfect: food, service, ambiance, hygiene, and price. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

Yesterday, we were out in town with the whole family and spontaneously stopped by Barollo. Despite the large number of customers, we received a very friendly welcome from the head waiter and were quickly shown to a table. The service was attentive and warm without being intrusive. The food was simply outstanding – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everyone of us was delighted, from the appetizer plate to the dessert. It certainly won't be our last visit to Barollo. Highly recommended!

Fabian's service on the evening of August 2, 2025, was top-notch. He has excellent people skills and is able to engage with each guest appropriately. An absolute asset to this cozy restaurant and the best service there in years. The food was, as always, superb, and the location is perfect.

A lovely restaurant with great Italian food and a wide variety of authentic, handmade Italian pasticcini (dessert cakes) for sale – a great souvenir :) – a lovely atmosphere and seating both outside on the Kö and inside the shopping center – and, last but not least, the staff are really helpful and super friendly. Highly recommended!

Nothing special. The food was tasty, although the selection wasn't that great. The prices were okay for a restaurant. But the staff wasn't that friendly. And I don't want to hear about the tipping thing.

We were walking along the royal alley and decided to stop in for a coffee. The coffee was delicious. We were interested in coming in for a bite next time...

The chopped olives served with the bread are a bit salty, but they taste good when eaten with bread. The price is reasonable, but it is a bit crowded because it is located in a shopping mall. The price and taste of the pasta are satisfying. Better than I thought? It was okay.

19€ FOR 2 FRESH 200ml ORANGE JUICES!!! THIS IS CRAZY!!!

Absolutely disappointing – never again! I went to this bar with a companion – and what was planned as a relaxing evening ended in an embarrassing and inappropriate fiasco. While I had only ordered a small snack, my companion ordered considerably more. In the end, it turned out she didn't have any money with her. I exercised my right and simply wanted to pay my share – but the staff responded with a frightening mixture of stubbornness, unprofessionalism, and an almost aggressive tone. Instead of handling the situation confidently or in a customer-oriented manner, they staged a veritable uprising. The place seemed more interested in confrontation than in finding a solution. There was no trace of hospitality or flexibility – you didn't feel like a guest, but rather like a nuisance. I can only advise everyone: If you value good staff, respectful treatment, and a minimum level of customer focus, you should avoid this place. Conclusion: Never again – a place that humiliates its guests instead of serving them.

Extremely incompetent staff for such high prices. We didn't get any bread, and the waiter gave us strange looks because we shared a Coke Zero. Never again. A sleazy place!

Hot spot Great food, always busy

Unfortunately, fillet tips were dry, but otherwise delicious. There is hardly any pineapple on the Hawaiian pizza. And unfortunately the service was non-existent today even though there was nothing going on!

Every now and then, when we visit the Kö Galerie, we stop here for a quick lunch. The service is friendly and very prompt and the dishes ordered are well made and tasty

Unfortunately we had to wait half an hour for our drinks. The coffee also arrived spilled and the cup was only roughly cleaned (there were still stains everywhere). The cola arrived without ice and a slice of lemon. Unfortunately, everything that shouldn't have gone wrong went wrong.

I ordered an iced chocolate, got a hot cocoa and the waitress didn't agree to bring me an iced chocolate, I've never seen such bad service😂😂

Acceptable price-quality ratio for its location. I ordered a pasta with shrimp it was good but it was too oily I still feel the oil in my throat, it was very uncomfortable to eat it and the waiters were too busy to fix it 🥲. I called 2 or 3 to discuss the incident but they never came to the table to resolve it. On the other hand, the salmon was very well prepared. The terrace is cozy and beautiful, not bad if you are passing through and are not very demanding since the attention of the waiters could be improved.

OUTRAGEOUS! Unfriendly, arrogant staff who seem to like to chase their guests away.

I went to Barolo for the first time yesterday and was disappointed. First of all, the positive aspects: The location directly on Königsallee is excellent and the atmosphere is nice. Unfortunately, the service staff were neither hard-working nor particularly quick. After we waited almost 20 minutes to place our order, despite the limited space, it took another 15 minutes for our order to arrive incomplete. When asked about this, we were assured that the missing drinks/food would be brought immediately. This took another 10 minutes. Then it turned out that the spaghetti ice cream was "out" today and to make matters worse, a drink was knocked over. I blame the fact that the prices are very high on the top location. All in all, unfortunately not a satisfactory visit.

Very, very nice service! Even though it was busy, it went very quickly, delicious pizza and good drinks, with a good mix.
