Ristorante Adria in Gießen

Ein rundum gelungener Abend in Gießen. Wir haben uns hier sofort wohlgefühlt und wurden kulinarisch absolut verwöhnt. Besonders die Pasta mit den frischen Trüffelhobeln war ein echtes Highlight. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm und einladend. Alles war frisch zubereitet und hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Sehr gutes Essen verbunden mit einem freundlichen Service. Die Atmosphäre im Aussenbereich ist sehr funktional und nüchtern gehalten.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden! Das Essen war sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich hervorragend. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Auch das Ambiente war sehr angenehm und gemütlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder und können das Restaurant Adria uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Bedienung kam erst nach längerer Wartezeit. Der Service war dafür aber sehr von sich überzeugt. Das Essen war lieblos angerichtet, Pizzateig fad, Essen war abgebrannt, wurde als neapolitanisch verkauft, Rechnung war falsch berechnet worden. Keine Entschuldigung dafür sondern nur die Aussage des Kellners das bei sovielen Kunden das halt mal passiert. Für das Preisniveau sollte es deutlich besser sein.

Das Restaurant bewegt sich im gehobenen Preissegment allerdings ist die Küche nicht dementsprechend. Die Pizza war abgebrannt, wurde mit einer lapidaren Entschuldigung abgeräumt und wurde später auf der Rechnung "versehentlich "doch berechnet. Service kam nur spärlich, hätte gerne noch ein Getränk bestellt, habe es dann gelassen. Kellner besitzen eine gewisse Arroganz die nicht immer so gut ankommt. Kenne auf jeden Fall DEUTLICH bessere italienische Restaurants.

Schönes Ambiente, normale Preise, freundliche Bedienung. Zu empfehlen!

Spaghetti Burrata war sehr lecker, super cremig! Pizza Tonno war in Ordnung. Der Service war schnell und zuvorkommend ☺️🥰

Das Essen hat wirklich gut geschmeckt! Wer originales Carbonara möchte, bekommt es hier. Sehr nette Bedienung und eine angemessene Mahlzeitengröße. Es gibt eine tolle und Vielfältige Auswahl an verschiedenen Italienischen Gerichten, sodass für jeden etwas dabei ist.

Es war wirklich super lecker! Und auch der Service war toll! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ambiente sehr schön. Bei der Pizza ist noch viel luft nach oben dort besteht Verbesserungsbedarf. Der Teig war sehr fat, die Salami schmeckte wie aus dem Discounter und auf der Pizza schwam eine Wässrige Flüssigkeit die ich erst mal ablaufen lassen musste. Dennoch waren die Zutaten auf der Pizza frisch. Eine Pizza werde ich dort wohl nicht mehr essen aber ich werde gegebenfalls Nudelgerichte probieren.

War sehr lecker gutes aufmerksames Personal. Das war nicht das letzte Mal sehr zu empfehlen..

Essen war italienisch lecker und aich die Atmosphäre war gut. Leider war der Service nur mäßig und hat uns schlichtweg in der Ecke vergessen

Wir waren das erste Mal bei Adria und wurden leider bitter enttäuscht. Im voraus, es war Valentinstag und wir waren schon darauf vorbereitet, dass die Wartezeit für die Speisen etwas länger dauern wird. Wir kommen selbst aus der Gastro und wissen wie Tage wie diese eben so sind. Haben also Geduld aber eben auch Hunger mitgebracht. Und so verständnisvoll wie wir auch sind, alles hat nun Mal seine Grenzen. Wir haben reserviert für 2 Personen und würden direkt freundlich zum Tisch gebittet. Das Tisch war wunderbar gedeckt, mit Rosenblättern und eine kleinen Valentinstags-Menü-Karte die wir beide zuckersüß fanden. Am Tisch war auch Brot mit Öl zum dippen, das fanden wir auch sehr toll. Das Ambiente war auch sehr romantisch. Wir haben uns gemütlich gemacht...und dann wurde aus dem schönen Date leider eine Tragödie. Wir haben 15-20 Minuten auf die erste Bestellung der Getränke gewartet, dann noch gute 15 Minuten damit sie überhaupt ankommen. Ich verstehe, dass der Laden voll war aber 20 Minuten sind schon wirklich traurig. Die Keller waren sehr überfordert. Die Tische neben uns haben ebenfalls sehr lange drauf gewartet bedient zu werden, sei es um zu bestellen, bezahlen oder selbst benutze Teller und Gläser abzuräumen. Wir hatten die Erfahrung gemacht, dass wir neue Getränke bekommen haben, dafür wurden unsere alten Gläser nicht mitgenommen. Da der Tisch schon relativ klein war, war es dann ungemütlich. Doch kommen wir zum Essen. Das war doch ein Scherz. Wir haben beide den Rumpsteak bestellt aus der Valentinstagskarte. Fast 35€ pro Person. Da haben wir war tolles erwartet, vorallem weil die Nudelgerichte der Nachbartische sehr gut aussahn. Doch für unsere Enttäuschung bekamen wir einen Steak der durch war und kaltes Gemüse drunter. Für 35€! Frechheit. Einen Keller konnten wir auch nicht aufhalten um uns zu beschweren. Nach 2 Stunden Wartezeit auf das Essen haben wir es einfach kalt und durch gegessen. Wir waren sehr unzufrieden. Naja, zumindest war der Pornstar Martini sehr gut... vielleicht kommen wir Mal wieder beim normalen Geschäft aber wir gehen erstmals woanders.

Valentinstag essen. Wir hatten reserviert für die Terrasse haben aber keinen Platz bekommen dafür einige Gäste nach uns, fanden wir sehr schade.... Es war sehr viel los, dafür war der Service sehr gut. Essen war leider nur lau Warm. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend, die Dame aus dem Service hat uns sehr gut versorgt. Wir war schon ein paar mal im Adria essen es war immer sehr gut.

Mein Stammlokal. Für Familienfeiern, Firmenfeiern oder nur das gelegentliche Essengehen mit meinen Kindern. Wir kommen immer wieder und fühlen uns jedes Mal sehr wohl und familiär empfangen. Reservieren lohnt sich, es ist verständlicherweise sehr oft voll.

Wir hatten ein schnelles Mittagessen dort. Kann nur die Pizza bewerten, die durchaus lecker war. Die Preise sind für ein Restaurant in Ordnung aber am oberen Ende.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Geschmacklich gut abgestimmt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass es hier die Möglichkeit gibt, auch Glutenfreie Nudeln zu bekommen. Das nenne ich zuvorkommendener Service.

Pizza Diavolo war leider nix, keinerlei Schärfe, nicht einmal eine pikante Note, dazu eine einzige Knoblauchzehe am Stück in der Mitte... soll das so? Wartezeit 40 min bei wenig Betrieb. Ich denke das geht besser. Tolles Ambiente und freundliches Personal. Vielleicht sind die anderen Gerichte besser, ich werde es probieren.

Es war ein wirklich gelungener Mittagstisch zu Weihnachten, Personal super freundlich und immer mal wieder nachfragend, ob alles in Ordnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

I ordered food today: two pizzas and two Italian salads. The pizzas were great, but the salads, at €10.50 each, were an absolute rip-off. The salad, including the packaging, weighed barely 200g and contained half an egg and two strips of ham (instead of the tuna I ordered).

A truly wonderful evening! We held our Christmas party this year at this Italian restaurant – and it was absolutely the right decision. The food was authentic, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. From the antipasti platter to the pasta, every dish was excellent. The service was attentive, quick, and yet pleasantly unobtrusive. You could tell that the team was well-coordinated and took their guests seriously. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and modern enough not to be kitschy. Perfect for a party, but also suitable for a casual evening for two. In short: A restaurant that delivers quality without making a fuss about it. We will definitely be back.

The ambiance was lovely, and the food was okay, although I had some doubts about the authenticity of certain dishes... which I later found to be true. The owner, the staff, and even the chef are not Italian. The legal notice confirms this. It's disappointing that nowadays you have to read the legal notice first to see if something is genuine and authentic, or just pretending to be.

We were there on Sunday at lunchtime, so it wasn't too busy. Excellent service and friendliness. Most importantly: We've rarely eaten such good pizza!

The food did not meet our expectations. The pizza was very burnt and almost impossible to cut with a knife. Therefore, it would have been appropriate to waive the charge for the pizza instead of offering dessert or a drink, which we declined.

Simply fantastic! We recently visited this Italian restaurant for the first time and were absolutely thrilled. A very nice lady served us, super attentive, friendly, and pleasantly unobtrusive. We immediately felt at home. The food was truly delicious! We had a starter, a main course, and a dessert; everything was perfectly prepared and made with love. You can simply taste that quality and taste are paramount here. Although the restaurant is located on a main road, the terrace feels completely different—almost like a short vacation in the middle of the city. A very relaxed atmosphere, you can really unwind. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely recommended! I was absolutely thrilled – we had a super friendly female waitress who welcomed us warmly and guided us attentively throughout the evening. The service was excellent overall. The food was delicious, from the pizza to the appetizers, simply top-notch. It was just ok. It was very hot inside and the food wasn't very good. The fish was dry, the pizza was bland and lacked toppings, the steak was tough and overcooked. I won't be going back.

Even though I don't go there that often, the staff (Ekrem and Oktavio) know where I like to sit and what my favorite dish is. That's what I call attention and that's why I feel very comfortable in the Adriatic. Price performance is absolutely justified. My favorite is the Pizza Toscana with extra garlic and the wine is the Primitivo.

We have been visiting this Italian restaurant for at least 25 years now - and have never been disappointed. It's always a nice little break for us at lunchtime when we're in Giessen. The food is always fresh, tasty and served quickly. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, the entire team is always polite, attentive and cheerful. The cleanliness of the restaurant also deserves praise. Here you can feel real hospitality and consistency - we always like to come back!

So far everything was fine. I sat in the winter garden. Unfortunately it is very drafty and cold there. You had to eat quickly so that it didn't cool down so quickly
