RISA Chicken in Berlin

Soggy, greasy, barely edible. Tables smeared and dirty, dirt, trash, and dust everywhere around and under the tables. The guys behind the counter were "professional." At least we got what we ordered. At least there was that.

Very disappointing visit, both JalaBurgers cold. Annoyed employee doesn't even say hello. Musicians are playing at full volume, every track either has a long pause then another song from YouTube at full volume, in between the unintelligible pick-up numbers are shouted through the loudspeakers, even louder than the music. Then there's another YouTube ad, then a tutorial, a minute-long pause and then the music at full volume... People go somewhere else! There are enough in the area. A number display instead of shouting the numbers incomprehensibly through the loudspeaker every minute would also be an option...

Ive been to RISA in 2019 and had a good experience: well made chicken burgers with fresh and good ingredients, it was when I discovered that arugula goes well with chicken. For my surprise in a visit today, the ingredients were not the same. The experience was frustrating. Totally disappointed.

Got food poisoning. Went quite late (3 am) so keep that in mind. I got süßkartoffel Pommes, My boyfriend got some fried chicken. The fries were fine but I felt a bit nauseous after eating some- could just be too much oil. I felt fine soon after My boyfriend unfortunately was throwing up (etc) within a couple of hours. It was the only thing we ate differently in the 24 hours before. The chicken and fries were ready even before we paid as they are sitting in a heated glass box for quick serving- but I assume given how late it was, the food sat there for too long and was no longer good. He was fine within 12 hours so it wasn’t horrible, but definitely not great.

Ordered 4 meals through Wolt, and one of them delivered 1 burger instead of 2. Following the complaint, ONE burger was refunded. But the customer went home hungry. Attempts to delete the review are also strange; apologize first before claiming it's defamation.

Menu B2 tastes sensationally delicious. The chicken is perfectly seasoned, the fries are crispy, and all for under 10 euros – fantastic!

They don’t keep the outside very clean, the chicken was ok but tbh I’ve had better.

Avoid this location as they seem overwhelmed from Wolt orders. I had to wait 30 minutes for a simple order of fried chicken. At all other locations, it takes 2-5 minutes

I ordered food and it arrived incomplete. When I complained, I did not receive the rest of the order. Volt Company refunded me a small amount even though I threw away the entire food and asked them to send a new, complete order and return the old one. I did not receive anything.

Food hygiene is a low priority here. I now regularly walk by in the morning when the meat is delivered, and it just makes me sick. Just left standing at the entrance. The last time I ordered, I took a look into the kitchen and wanted to cancel my order. The guys walk around in slippers, and I wonder if they ever wash their hands. Money and food are handled with the same hand. On top of that, the Riesa chicken has gotten worse everywhere. The seasoning is off. No thanks.

There is no cleanliness at work. The employee who did my work does not wear gloves. He works without gloves and touches everything with his hand.

The chicken was not fresh and it was over cooked. Some of the French fries were green. The staff were preparing the food without wearing gloves on. Risa usually is better than that but this branch is really bad.

Late at night on the way home. We got off the M10. Hungry. Risa's was still open. Why hadn't we been there before, since it's practically around the corner? We were expecting boring fast food and got the best chicken. Juicy, crispy, perfectly seasoned, and with a delicious dip. Yummy yummy. Now we know.

Only reason to go here is to use the toilet.

The quantity was very good, we got plenty, and it was quick. The chicken was very fatty but tasted okay. The ketchup and mayo tasted bland. The place wasn't clean; there were stains on the walls and the seats. And, above all, the restrooms were awful.

Once hyped, but now it's dwindling. The place is empty, yet you still wait 10 minutes for your food, which is already ready and just needs to be placed on a tray. And that's despite the fact that there are five people behind the counter, at least two of whom are always standing around doing nothing. This is probably also the reason for the sharply increased prices and shrinking portions. RISA, unfortunately, not for me anymore.

Super delicious chicken! The breading is nice and spicy. It's fast food, but it's really good junk food, and when I'm in Berlin, I always love stopping by!

By far the smallest and worst chicken I've ever eaten. The other ingredients, like ketchup and mayonnaise, were also lacking. Typical tourist trap: once and never again.

The breading was great, but unfortunately the pieces were very greasy from frying. It would be better if the temperature was right. I like the fries and the fact that ketchup and mayo are served on the table. The service could be better in general.

Really tasty fried chicken fillets. And worth the price.

If you order your food to-go you have to wait a good 20 minutes because Wolt & Co. obviously have priority. Packing the rice in a cardboard box is certainly more environmentally friendly than Styrofoam boxes, but it has the disadvantage that the condensation at home and a soggy floor make the box so unstable that removing it from the plastic bag becomes a circus-like juggling act.

Almost everything perfect. There was a very nice atmosphere in the store, kind of a great party feeling. The only thing that was annoying was that my friend hadn't managed to finish the entire meal and asked if it could be packed and then my friend should pay an additional 1 euro. That doesn't work at all. Luckily, the boss saw this and then reprimanded his employee. So not all of the employees there are correct people, but the boss is a very nice and courteous person.

Right in the middle of life Quick snack in a loud but colorful atmosphere

Sitting here for half an hour waiting for my b position take away, catastrophe here is pure chaos 20 want bags to pick up. Everything is working, but still there is no progress, I ended up waiting over an hour for my food. Addendum November 4th, 2024 tried to take action against my review on Google, saying it was allegedly not true. But unsuccessful, because unfortunately it was Addendum 19.1. 25 tried to delete my post on Google again. Reason: defamation. Such behavior is truly shameful.

Decent chicken, but failed to respond when trying to order delivery as listed on their website. Whatsapp and call, no answer, leaving us wondering if the order was even received. Very dissapointed with the service. EDIT: After having gone to eat here in person I am sad to say, like Turmstr, this RISA simply lacks the quality and service of their Sonnenallee store. Risa in Neukolln is infamous and with good reason as the chicken there is fantastic, however it seems the other stores simply can't maintain that same standard. 2nd Edit: It appears that I have had a claim made against this review for "Defamation"..... Would be nice if Google reviews could actually be honest and businesses didn't go complaining like a butthurt Karen wouldn't it?

Ordered here yesterday. The food arrived cold almost three hours later. No one could be reached by phone at the time. Update from January 2025: RISA has now taken action against this post twice. Once for libel and once for defamation. The last deletion request in October was rejected by Google and now I have to upload all the documents again that prove my experience. Seriously RISA: You simply didn't do a good job - and instead of a simple "Sorry, we've improved. We'd be happy if the 2-year-old review was removed. Thank you" you only get requests for deletion with reasons that are far-fetched . This shows me that I am completely right about no longer being a customer of yours.
