Völlig einfallslos präsentiertes totgebratenes Seelachsfilet, Remoulade mit fragwürdiger Konsistenz, überteuertes Wasser, „Hauswein“ für stolze 8,50 € und natürlich nur Barzahlung, weil kein„Internet“ … ist klar … der Campingplatz neben an hat übrigens Internet. Es gibt keinen Grund für einen Besuch.

Direkt an der Eider. Spektakulär Fisch gegessen. Ansonsten alles entspannt. Auch mit Kindern (,die wir selbst bespannt haben). Da will ich wieder hin.

An einem warmen, sonnigen Tag kamen wir hierher, um ein kühles Getränk zu genießen. Es war so ruhig und friedlich. Wir saßen mit einem wunderschönen Blick direkt am Fluss. Wir beschlossen, zum Abendessen wiederzukommen. Das Essen war gut und der Service freundlich. Und die Aussicht draußen war atemberaubend. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Der perfekte Ort für ein kühles Getränk an Sommertagen und auch ein tolles Restaurant zum Abendessen. Gemütlich, ruhig und mit einer guten Urlaubsatmosphäre.

Wir waren am ersten Abend unseres Urlaubs da, war sehr lecker schöne Aussicht und der Chef, war auch mega lieb, man konnte sich super unterhalten.

Nettes Lokal an der Eider Haben nur Trinkpause gemacht, deshalb keine Beurteilung. Preise höher

Unbezahlbar, die Aussicht auf den wunderschönen Fluss Eider. Sonnenterrasse, Innenhof und Gastraum mit riesigen Panoramascheiben. Das Essen hat mir gut gefallen. Große Getränkeauswahl und leckere Nachtische. Wie in vielen Gaststätten ,wären 2 bis 3 Vegane Gerichte wünschenswert, und eine Empfehlung meinerseits.

Gemütliches Restaurant direkt am Wasser. Die Speisenauswahl ist gut und das Essen hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Der Jägerschnitzel war riesig! 🤩 Preis-Leistungsverhältnis top. Personal sehr freundlich.

Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut, die Karte ist sehr umfangreich. Die Portionen sind sehr gut, die Preise sind normal. Das Restaurant liegt direkt an der Eider und man hat eine schöne Aussicht. Bei schönen Wetter kann man auch draußen sitzen. Der Service ist toll, freundlich und vor allem nicht aufdringlich. Wir gehen gerne hier hin. Hier ist nur Barzahlung möglich.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Ein Riesen Schnitzel, sehr zart und saftig. Sehr nettes Personal. Das Essen kam schnell und ein Besuch ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir waren vor 18 uhr ohne Reservierung da im Februar. Als wir gegangen sind füllte es sich, es gab einige größereReservierungen. Mit allen Tischen war es recht kuschelig aber da noch nicht jeder Tisch besetzt war total in Ordnung.

Die Schnitzel sind einfach mega

Meiner Meinung nach, ein Geheimtipp. Super gelegen, super Location, und der Service 1A. Silvester-Nachmittag, zwar „noch“ nichts los, aber mit dem Ausblick auf die Eider, ein Erlebnis. Vielen Dank dafür.

Kleines, aber feines Restaurant mit Blick auf die Eider. Eine Tischreservierung ist auf jeden Fall erforderlich ! Das Essen ist reichlich, wird frisch zubereitet und (leider) extrem lecker, sodass man nix liegenlassen möchte. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Ich war zum ersten, aber mit Sicherheit nicht zum letzten Mal dort.

Wir sind regelmäßig hier und immer sehr zufrieden. Sowohl Essen als auch Bedienung sind immer top.

Direkt an der Eider und einem Campingplatz gelegenes Restaurant, entsprechend gut ist die Aussicht. Gute Auswahl an Gerichten, die mit hochwertigen Produkten handwerklich sehr gut zubereitet werden. Preislich in Ordnung, netter und aufmerksamer Service. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Nur Barzahlung möglich. Leider ist weit und breit kein Geldautomat verfügbar, so dass man sich bei spontanem Besuch sicher sein sollte, den einen oder anderen "Fünfziger" dabei zu haben.

Nicht billig, Qualitativ aber gut

Rumpsteak nicht zu viel empfehlen. Ist nicht rot sondern glasig, also ggf. nicht frisch sondern tiefgefroren od. Vakuum verpackt und trotzdem sehr teuer. Fisch ist ok. Medium-well war Dort kein gängiger Begriff. Es wurde medium Das ist schwach für ein Steak Restaurant.

Sehr schöne Aussicht und gutes Essen. Für "Hunde müssen draußen bleiben" ziehe ich einen Punkt ab. Häufig bekommen Hunde in anderen Restaurants einen Wassernapf.

Das Essen und der Service waren sehr gut. Hatte ein Schnitzel bestellt, das war riesig und sehr lecker. Kann das Lokal nur empfehlen.

Es war ein wunderschönes Restaurant direkt am Fluss. Wir kamen am Nachmittag an und hatten das Lokal daher fast für uns allein. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war köstlich und die Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Ich hatte das panierte Schnitzel mit Pilzsoße, meine Frau das Hähnchen mit Pilzsoße. Wir haben es sehr genossen und würden gerne bald wiederkommen.

Hatte Schnitzel Jäger Art mit Pommes und frischen Salat. Die Qualität ist einfach Top ! Die Portierung sehr groß,hätte für 2 Personen gereicht. Bedienung sehr nett, und von der Terrasse tolle Sicht auf die Eider. Wir können dieses Lokal mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen.

We came from a path, and from there, it didn't look particularly inviting. The tunnel is almost as oppressive as an underpass in some cities. But the food was excellent. Truly superb. The view of the river and how everything is laid out...unbelievable from the side we came from. This time I had fish. With a few bones. It tasted really good. That's what fish is like when it's fresh. If you like, they'll chat. The owners and staff are great. It's a good place to have a good time. Tip!! (Next time I'll get something meaty)

We had a very good meal here. The four of us had different dishes. All delicious and plentiful. We also had a small freshly made salad. Special allergy requests were accommodated, and the food arrived promptly and together for everyone. The friendly service rounded off the good experience. We'd be happy to go back. The four of us spent just over €140, including a drink each.

We were here for the first time the day before yesterday and will definitely come back. Very clean and well-maintained. We received a very friendly welcome and service. The food was excellent and of very good quality.

Good restaurant with delicious fish dishes.

We were disappointed for the first time on vacation...our coffee didn't arrive. After waiting 30 minutes, we ordered again...our cappuccino can be made in an espresso cup for 4 euros...honestly...I'm happy to pay a little extra on vacation, but I thought this was really over the top. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was very nice.

Well, that was another great discovery! Absolutely delicious food; we had plaice and wolffish, definitely recommended! Sitting comfortably outside on the spacious terrace (although the seat cushions desperately need replacing) and relaxing after a bike ride! The only downside is that they only accept cash payments... But we'd be happy to come back!

We spent an absolutely fantastic evening there. Not only was the ambiance and the view of the river magnificent, the food was just as good and delicious. The ingredients were fresh; we ordered two fish dishes and the Jägerschnitzel. The schnitzel was almost twice the size of the plate. The quality of the meat was excellent; there was nothing to complain about. The prices were also completely reasonable. It's in the same price range as all the other restaurants in the area. All in all, I highly recommend it, and I can recommend the restaurant without hesitation.

Unfortunately, I don't recommend it! Even though the location is very nice, the food is unfortunately very average and the price is quite high. A 0.4-liter fruit juice spritzer costs €6.50!!! Tönning is apparently the new St. Tropez... We weren't even offered a drinks menu, so we didn't know about the outrageous price. Otherwise, we wouldn't have ordered in the first place. I would never go there again and wouldn't recommend it. There are many other good restaurants in Tönning.

The food was plentiful and delicious. Beautiful view of the Eider River and close to the RV park.

My partner ordered a prawn stir-fry for his main course. He was served a huge, almost empty plate with about ten small prawns – for €27. It tasted okay, but completely inadequate as a "main course." A piece of kiwi and a small piece of apple with the skin on it were also on the plate – that was it. More of a joke than a complete meal. I had chosen the chicken with nuts, baked potatoes, and spinach – hoping for a delicious nutty sauce. Instead, I got a completely dry piece of chicken, without any trace of sauce or nuts. The potato side dish was 90% sour cream, with hardly any actual potato pieces. Tasted bland and unloving. This so-called "main course" cost €22. After two unchewable bites, I sent it back – completely inedible. Each dish was supposed to come with a small "salad" – consisting of two slices of cucumber, a piece of tomato, and a few leaves. Although this salad was supposedly included, I was ultimately charged €4 for it – on the grounds that I had eaten it (it arrived about 10 minutes before the actual meal). Being asked to pay extra for something like that is simply embarrassing. And as if that weren't enough: The presumed owner offered neither apologies nor showed any understanding. On the contrary – he tried to explain to me that the chicken "has to be just like that." Instead of accepting criticism, he justified everything and tried to portray it as normal. That may be fine for him – but I certainly don't eat that kind of thing. Conclusion: A completely overpriced, poor-quality restaurant with tiny portions, terrible execution, and an uncomprehending, rude owner. Never again. An absolute disappointment all round.

We were here to eat "plain plaice"! Delicious, well-cooked, and friendly people.

We didn't wait long for the food. We had steak and fish, the fish was very good (but adding €6 for a baked potato is a bit cheeky). The steak was tasty, but nothing more. Prices in general in Tönning are pretty steep. Here, fish and seagulls are still a good night. 😉.

We've been vacationing in Schleswig-Holstein every year for years, and we visit this restaurant at least twice. You have a direct view of the Eider River while you eat. The food is excellent, as always, and the staff, especially the chef, are very friendly. So, if you're vacationing in Tönning, you should definitely stop by.

Great view of the Eider River, fast service, and very good quality food. One tiny downside: It's apparently part of good manners that many guests are left sitting with empty glasses without being offered anything new. The waitress only responds to a shout to take another order. But then it's always quick and friendly!

The seating is very comfortable, and in good weather, even outside. The food is delicious but also quite expensive.

Today we ate at this restaurant because we loved the view of the Eider River. We had two rump steaks with fried potatoes. The steaks were very fatty and riddled with tendons. Our request for medium-rare resulted in a raw steak. To go with the meal, we had a Pinot Grigio, warm and of the inferior variety. Last but not least, I missed the small sign at the entrance saying "Cash Only." I had to drive to the bank to get the money. A total of 95 poorly spent euros.

Good food in beautiful weather with a great view. The four of us enjoyed a delicious meal and were very satisfied. A reasonable selection of dishes and prices commensurate with the food.

New owner! A look at the map reveals that there is no desire to serve. I find €2.50 per supplement change outrageous. I find other locations there.

One of the best steaks I've had in a long time. Super tasty.

The fillet of redfish in fruit curry sauce tasted very good. Something different than a mustard sauce that certainly tastes very good. A great new variant. Also worth mentioning is the colorful salad, all fresh, which came beforehand.

Excellent food in a stylish atmosphere. The food, in our case the captain's plate and housewife-style matjes, was exactly what the menu promised. The landlord takes care of his guests in an exemplary manner! Only the increased price of the garnet slightly dampened the visit. However, this is due to the low attendance rates and in no way to the restaurant's fault. Overall a successful evening. We'd love to come back!

Very nice service, very nice atmosphere, view of the Eider, the food was very good, side salad (everything fresh: grated carrots and red cabbage, iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, rocket), we had the captain's plate (lots of fish and crabs) and chicken breast fillet ( Meat was still nice and juicy and still nicely fried) eaten on leaf spinach with baked potatoes. Conclusion: highly recommended, we will be back

Great view, food OK, but quite overpriced. For a crab soup with small indicators of convenience including a countable proportion of crab filling plus a cola for 20 EUR, that's steep and not necessarily justified.

From our point of view, an excellent meal and at a reasonable price. The mustard-crusted steak was cooked to perfection and the grilled chicken steak with spinach was juicy and excellently seasoned. All of this in a very quiet and nice atmosphere. We will be back soon.

Maybe it's because summer is coming to an end: it's outside There's still room for improvement in the design... But the food and service were top. We found the manner of service (owner?) very pleasant. No long waiting times, good portions, fair prices!
