Nice fish bistro on the north side of the Eider barrage. Friendly service and nice ambience. Highly recommended. We had baked potatoes with North Sea crabs.

We had a crab soup (a dream), the 2 plaice with fried potatoes (also super tasty) and a non-alcoholic shandy. The service was also great :) The only problem is that you can't pay with a card (otherwise we would have treated ourselves to even more).

Top crabs and nice sitting outside. Staff like to chat, I would definitely go there again.

There is delicious, fresh fish here that you can also take with you. If the weather is nice you can also sit outside. The service is nice and the prices are OK too. Can only be recommended.

The fried fish roll was delicious and highly recommended. Unfortunately the service was a bit unfriendly and the ambience was questionable. Posters still wrapped in plastic. Only cash payment possible.

5 out of 5, it just doesn't get any better than that. It's always a pleasure for me to eat here. Decent portions at reasonable prices, fresh North Sea air and very nice staff. I'm looking forward to my next visit

The food here is always delicious and the waitresses are very friendly. The large selection of souvenirs in the entrance area is also very appealing.

We stopped here by chance while on a bike tour. You can sit inside and outside. There are enough parking spaces for both vehicles and bicycles. Large menu with something for everyone. There are, among other things, delicious fish sandwiches, fries, crabs or homemade cakes with coffee or various ice cream sundaes. We had a fried fish sandwich, fries with nuggets and fries with fish fingers and a homemade cheesecake with apricots. We were completely satisfied. We really enjoyed it and enjoyed it. Nice staff, very dog-friendly and delicious food for reasonable prices. After we were dogged at the lookout point because our dog didn't have the desired size of foot horn (even if the view from there is actually more beautiful: NEVER AGAIN!) We moved to the "Katinger Watt" and didn't regret it. Delicious food, friendly service, fresh drinking water for the dog and consistently friendly staff, THIS IS WHAT GASTRO SHOULD BE!

Have been here many times when visiting from Australia. Very good food and friendly service. Will go back again. Joachim was fantastic and entertaining. 2023, have come back again and still very good food. 2024 and back again, still more than happy

Very, very rude to cyclists, they stare at you right at the door. We then had coffee somewhere else.

We wanted to buy 2 fish sandwiches to take away today and were told rather rudely that this wasn't possible because we were busy elsewhere. We would have liked to have waited longer, but were then surprised by the unfriendliness. It would be better to point out straight away that there is no free capacity at the moment.

We also had the experience of the very unfriendly waiter, we actually wanted to eat there, I then asked if they had a toilet because the children had to go to the toilet. The answer I got was whether I could even imagine a restaurant of this size not having a toilet. I then looked at the waiter a bit puzzled, whereupon he asked if I wanted to know where the toilets were and not just whether they had toilets. Since the bad reviews about this gentleman run like a common thread through all the negative reviews, it would perhaps be appropriate for the management to have a conversation with the man. We actually wanted to spend money there but when you're treated so condescendingly you just leave. I then put the €1.50 for going to the toilet on the counter. Informed the gentleman, whereupon he smugly asked whether we hadn't found the right one. Honestly, if you don't feel like it, you can stay at home. I have a tip, you can also hire Ukrainians, they are much cheaper, really try hard and not as condescending or inappropriately arrogant as the waiter there... Actually it was quite good, because we then spent our money in Tönning and had really excellent service Top quality, which you obviously can't expect if you read the reviews here.

Delicious roll with smoked mackerel fillet, very good apple juice spritzer. Cozy atmosphere inside. Unfortunately, the staff shortage was also noticeable here, very friendly but the waiting time was quite long.

Spontaner Zwischenstopp auf der Fahrradtour… neben einem Super leckeren Stück Apfel Kuchen und sehr freundlicher Bedienung am Tisch, sind auch die Toiletten sehr sauber und gepflegt gewesen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Ein echter Geheimtipp und ein Muss, wann immer ich dort irgendwie in die Nähe komme (ob auf dem Fahrrad oder auf der Durchreiae von Hamburg nach St. Peter-Ording) - viele Parkplätze, man kann schön draußen sitzen, das Personal betreibt das Bistro mit Leidenschaft, die Preise sind angemessen und die Brötchen werden immer frisch zubereitet

Am 11.08. dort eingekehrt. Die Krabbensuppe war sehr lecker und machte ihrem Namen alle Ehre. Auch der dort zu kaufende Gellowayschinken war sehr lecker. Auch das Restaurant auf der anderen Seite der Eider (die gehören zusammen) hat sehr leckere Sachen auf der Karte.

Wir kommen schon seit Jahren hier her. Immer wieder super lecker, urgemütlich und sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Neben leckeren Essen kann man sich ebenfalls tolle Souvenire und Leckereien aus der Umgebung mitnehmen. Bis zum nächsten Jahr 🤘.

Seit ungefähr 8 Jahren besuche ich einmal im Jahr Sankt Peter-Ording. Ein wunderschöner Ort. Bei Ankunft ist es seit ungefähr 4 Jahren ein muss im Fischbistro halt zu machen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich.
