Restaurant Waldoase in Heringsdorf

A disappointment. I asked if I could have a hot meal here (it was only 2 p.m.). The waiter looked at me a bit strangely and said, "Sure." So I said, "Oh, fine, I'll sit outside." He saw me sitting outside and didn't come back to me. 🤔 There was only one other couple outside, so it wasn't busy. Very strange for such a fancy restaurant. That doesn't say anything about the service.

Everything was perfect, we celebrated a child's birthday, but unfortunately we didn't take it into account. Perhaps next time, as a little tip...

Kacper is an amazing waiter, thanks so much for great service and translation from German to Polish :) Food and gelato were delicious. Gelato is artisanal, home made and natural, we've tasted such gelato flavours like: rose, rowan, sea buckthorn and pine, super delicious! The hotel isspotless clean and beautiful with restaurant terrace with sea view. Thanks youfor lovely time :)

The LAST restaurant before the Polish border. Unfortunately, the food wasn't impressive: Some of the asparagus was unpeeled, the schnitzel was rather small, and the dumplings at the next table seemed like industrially produced dumplings. The waiter tried hard, but was clearly overwhelmed. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it – if you venture a few steps further across the border, you'll be rewarded with delicious, affordable food.

The forest oasis has a nice atmosphere. The main course today was a venison goulash, which had a good taste but unfortunately the larger pieces of meat were seared too hot, so they were a bit tough. The dessert "Chocolate Mouse on Raspberry Mirror with Vanilla Ice Cream" was good, but the core of the mouse was no longer creamy as a whole and was partly cooked through. The whole thing didn't affect the taste. It was just nuances. Overall, the restaurant is recommended.

Highly recommended. Absolutely dignified service, convincing food, especially the salad is brilliant, beautiful view of the Baltic Sea. What more could you want?

Were at the snack bar on the promenade path. The Latemachiato wasn't worth the money. Coffee and milk were cold. Would have expected more for €8. But that's just how it is when you have to rely on foreign-speaking staff. We definitely won't be coming back.

We went on holiday to eat at the Waldoase with a reservation. Classic German cuisine, I had wild boar roulades with fried potatoes and green beans. And venison goulash with hash browns and fried potatoes and salad with blackberry jam. Unfortunately I forgot my cell phone at home. Great portions and fair prices. You can sit outside, depending on the weather, friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere! Sitting in the middle of the forest and enjoying it, clear recommendation!

Mitten im Wald, etwas ausserhalb von Ahlbeck, gegenüber von einem Dünenübergang und daher mit einem Blick auf die Ostsee liegt die Waldoase. Der Name passt perfekt zu dem Ort. Wir haben dort sehr gut gegessen und sind überaus freundlich von Aneta bedient worden. Die Karte ist saisonal und natürlich „fischig“, bietet aber auch polnische Traditionsgerichte und selbstgemachte Pasta. Zu den Gerichten gibt es selbstgemachtes Brot. Die Gerichte sind schön anzusehen und mit frischen Kräutern dekoriert. Auch das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung. Einen Punktabzug geben wir für die Begrüssung. Als wir das (fast leere) Restaurant betraten und die Dame hinter dem Tresen erwartungsvoll grüssten, erwarteten wir, dass man uns fragt, ob wir reserviert hätten, uns zum Tisch begleiten würde oder sowas in der Art. Stattdessen kam ein knappes Hallo und sie drehte sich weg und verschwand. So standen wir dort einige Minuten und überlegten uns, ob wir wieder gehen sollten. Erst später kam die nette Bedienung Aneta, die den Abend dann zusammen mit dem Essen zu einem Genuss machte.

Als wir in Ahlbeck den Radweg am Strand entlang fuhren, haben wir ein schönes Restaurantgebäude mit einer wunderschönen langen Auffahrt gesehen, umgeben von grünen Rasenflächen und Bäumen. Wir haben dort Mittagspause gemacht. Und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Der Kellner war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, hat uns die besten Gerichte empfohlen. Die gebackene Forelle mit Drillingen, grünen Spargel und zerlassener Butter war sehr gut zubereitet, unglaublich lecker, alles ganz frisch, Gemüse knackig. Ein Highlight für die Seele und Augen, die Optik der Gerichte und der Geschmack verdienen 5 Sterne. Sehr sehr empfehlenswert!!!

The food was really delicious and the service was great too. You can also eat well there with small children, as they are taken into consideration in terms of short waiting times and facilities. The chocolate souffle was particularly tasty as dessert.

The gate wasn't opened, there was no response to the doorbell ringing.

Leider haben wir uns von der Bewertung täuschen lassen. Die Fischplatte für zwei Personen waren die 55€ keinesfalls wert.

Man muss schon zwischen dem Restaurant und dem Imbiss unterscheiden. Ich war im Imbiss am Radwanderweg. Bockwurst mit Kartoffelsalat für 5.50 war ein akzeptabler Preis und hat gut geschmeckt.

Wir waren in der waldoase zum Kaffee trinken. Die Anlage ist sehr schön. Wir saßen auf der Sonnenterrasse. Schnelle freundliche Bedienung. Leckeres Eis und gute Kaffeespezialitäten. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder .

Das Essen war wirklich super. Ich bin bei weitem kein Fischfan, aber die Fischsuppe war klasse. Die Bedienung sehr nett und aufmerksam. Die Atmosphäre war okay, da die Außenterrasse nicht besetzt war hatte man freie Sicht bis zum Meer. Das war sehr entspannend.

Großartig angerichtete Gerichte mit Liebe zum Detail. Gute Portionen! Der Weg lohnt sich. Der Panoramablick ist toll - aber Achtung, selbst zwei verschiedene Navi-Systeme konnten das Restaurant nicht finden und haben uns Fußwege vorgeschlagen. Also vielleicht gleich einen Spaziergang einplanen - oder das Management spricht mal mit Googlemaps...

Great food, friendly staff, fast service. Little bit hidden but worth the way also to take a later walk on the beach again. Not cheap but worth the money, especially the seafood.

Da wir etwas zu früh kamen wurde uns ein Tisch auf der rückseitigen Terrasse zur Verfügung gestellt. Hier war es sehr ruhig und wir haben den Blick in den Wald genossen. Das Essen war außerordentlich gut und von hoher Qualität. Unser Kellner war sehr zuvorkommend und kannte sich aus. Vielen Dank 👍
