Food, for me schnitzel, really tasty and a huge portion with various side dishes, also absolutely reasonable in terms of price. The staff is super nice and warm, so all around great. It was my first time there, but definitely not the last. Two thumbs way up 👍👍

We have enjoyed coming here again and again for years. Whether outside for a currywurst or in the dining room for a farmer's breakfast, game goulash or goose leg with red cabbage. It always tastes very good and the service is always very friendly, and the prices are more than reasonable. If you come during the week there is always a place. We feel very comfortable there. Visited the Waldcafe Corell restaurant in the Niendorf enclosure today. A very traditional forest restaurant and café, with home-style German cuisine. A great restaurant interior with a hexagonal ceiling. There are also many outdoor spaces around the restaurant in summer, which are also very interesting for cyclists and walkers who are out and about in the Niendorf enclosure. The menu is really great, with the variety of dishes. Today I had kale with smoked pork and fried potatoes from the daily specials. A really big portion at a fair price. The staff are extremely friendly and the service is quick. The food was first class, the price was right here. A very nice restaurant where, in addition to food, there is also coffee and cake. A clear recommendation to stop here!

The Waldcafe Corell is an institution and is idyllically located in the Niendorf enclosure! We went there for a goose dinner (reservation necessary!) When we got there we were immediately greeted and seated by a very friendly waiter! The service was very attentive and friendly throughout our visit, something I haven't experienced in a long time! The food was good, but not outstanding! The goose was quite dry, the dumplings were probably not homemade and the sauce was a bit bland! Next time I visit I'd rather have the kale?! Despite small drawbacks, we would like to recommend the Waldcafe Corell!!

The next guests were already waiting. To everyone it seemed like a sacking. When asked if we were dissatisfied, yes. I'm not an expert, but a little calmness would certainly have brought a tip. But nothing against the food. And compared to other restaurants, what they offer is a real bargain. I'm sure my next application will be better. Today does not reflect the true picture

Wie waren zum Martingans Essen dort. Man hatte das Gefühl einer Massenabfertigung. Ein permanentes Kommen und Gehen. Innerhalb 15 Minuten kam das Essen, was uns schon sehr gewundert hat. Die Gans war leider sehr trocken, die Haut extrem hart. Für den Preis hatten wir was Anderes erwartet. Wir können hier keine Weiterempfehlung geben.

Wir hatten eine super köstliche Martinsgans mit schmackhaften Beilagen (Rotkohl, Bohnen, Kroketten und herrlicher Soße — wer Rosenkohl möchte, sollte diesen vorab bei der Reservierung bestellen). Unser erwachsener Sohn, der keinen Rotkohl mag, hat ihn probiert und war begeistert. Es war eine Freund dieses Speisen essen zu können. Gruß an die Küche. Faszinierend war der Service. Mit welcher Freundlichkeit und Ruhe die Mitarbeitenden diesen „Ansturm“ bewältigt haben. Tolles Team. Wir freuen uns schon auf das Gänse-Essen im nächste Jahr. Ein Tipp: schon im August reservieren, sonst wird es schwierig. Wobei das ja eigentlich für Corell spricht.

Die Martinsgans war sehr trocken, Rotkohl und Kloß waren okay. Wir saßen am Tisch zu den Toiletten, wo es gezogen hat. Daher hat meine Freundin ständig die Tür zugemacht. Der Besitzer meinte dann irgendwann, das gar kein Fenster auf sei und sie auch gerne schauen könnte. Einfach frech und unverschämt so mit seinen Gästen umzugehen!

Nice location, but it takes a long time to be served and the food arrives, it was very busy on Sunday. Unfortunately the hot chocolate doesn't taste good (thin, probably with water, not sweet enough) and 4.80 euros for that is a lot.

The good reviews are deceiving. First the croquettes were out! Pork tenderloin with Champion sauce and fries! The sauce didn't taste like anything, the fries weren't cooked through. It was really disgusting.

Unfortunately you can't give no stars at all. I was in the café today when a woman came in and quickly asked for a coke because she was diabetic and had low blood sugar. The waiter replied dryly: “Yes, then they are not allowed to be out and about.” What is wrong with this person? And someone like that works in a service company. Maybe the cafe should think about who they hire.

Unfortunately the most expensive, worst food I have ever eaten. I can only advise against it.

We were on the summer terrace on the holiday and waited a long time for the service to place our order. It seemed as if there were four service staff present, but unfortunately they had no interest in noticing us. Two women sat down next to us and also tried to get the service's attention for over 20 minutes. The waiters looked at them, but just kept walking without reacting. The ladies did it right and got up and left! If guests are deliberately ignored, you should ask yourself whether you are in the right place in the hospitality industry. We also had to wait over 20 minutes to pay, despite repeated requests. This experience was extremely unsatisfactory and I will not even purchase anything from the self-service outside in the future.

The location is beautifully located, directly surrounded by nature. The ambience that the wooden building exudes is also quite pleasant! We were there when it was super crowded. The service suffered somewhat as a result. I also heard that a drink-only order was declined...probably because of the crowds, I assume. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our cake, ice cream and coffee or chai latte! The prices are still within reasonable limits.

I am a taxi driver and was supposed to arrive on Sunday, September 22nd. pick up here. It was the (probably) last warm Sunday of the year and therefore all the restaurants in Hamburg were full. To say that the Waldcafé is “well attended” is a big understatement. Thankfully my passenger had my car number. That's how I was able to find her. An extra thank you to the waiter (slim, dark-haired). Top! The guests were very enthusiastic about the service and reported that the food was good and plentiful (they had the rest packed away). The cake slices are huge. I'm looking forward to my next visit. The taxi driver ;-)

We were here with friends and had dinner. The location in the Niendorf enclosure is great. You look at the forest and meadows. The food, the Waldcafe pan, was delicious, but unfortunately I didn't get it. My histamine intolerance occurs very rarely. Unfortunately that was the case here.

The Waldcafe Corell is always fun. Regardless of whether you just want a snack with our own beer after a walk through the Niendorf enclosure, or you want to go out for dinner in the evening, you can do both here. For a spontaneous visit, use the snack bar in front of the café. Here you can only get the small classics such as fries, fish rolls, currywurst, etc. and you have to be prepared to wait a little as the queue can be very long, especially in good weather. Things look completely different in the restaurant itself. There is a good menu here and the service is very good. I would also like to emphasize that our children and our dog were always very welcome!

Got a very unfriendly feeling. From the people who worked there as waiters, as well as the older gentleman from the office or the manager of the restaurant. As a mother with a stroller, there was no toilet that you could enter with a stroller (like a disabled toilet). The changing table is in a small hallway that is so narrow that you can hardly open the door with a stroller. The older gentleman from the office complained about my stroller in the changing room! It bothered him. It's incomprehensible that they themselves don't notice that the changing table is in an unsuitable place. You don't get good quality for the price you pay. Very bad experience. Not recommended.

We wanted to eat something good here today after our daughter started school because the comments were promising. The service was generally okay. The food came really quickly and made you think. In the children's spaghetti with tomato sauce (completely without cheese, canned quality), our older daughter immediately found a hair... ok, that can happen. My wife's open potato was lukewarm, covered with frozen vegetables, completely unimaginative in its preparation and serving. I ordered the game burger ..I'm really not picky, I eat everything and leave nothing on my plate. But I've never had anything so horrible on my plate. Burger meat was dry, slice of ham wasn't roasted enough and the taste was expired, old. Camembert was overripe and bitter. For 18 euros it was a disgrace I had to leave about half of it standing, it wouldn't go down. It's just a shame for the food, it's so difficult to prepare. 6 (including 2 children) people ate and drank for a total of 150 euros. It was really shocking. It's a shame... first and last time...

An absolute must!!!! Our breakfast (with friends) left nothing to be desired! The set table was a small work of art...you immediately felt welcome! Food & drinks whatever your heart desires...and were always refilled (at no extra charge) The entire atmosphere invites you to stay and linger! Wir waren mit mehreren Personen heute im Waldcafe Corell. Die bestellten Salate waren okay, der gebackene Camembert mit Preiselbeeren leider "tiefbraun" fritiert, die Preiselbeeren kamen als eher Marmelade daher, etwas lieblos mit ein wenig fritierter Petersilie und Taastbrot angerichtet. Etwas Garnitur Fehlanzeige! Die am Anfang weibliche Bedienung sehr nett und freundlich, brachte Getränke. Der für unseren Tisch wohl zuständige Kellner war missmutig und weniger freundlich. Der Weg zum Abkassieren war wohl zu weit, wir mussten selber zur "Kasse" gehen. Ein Danke, fürs Trinkgeld gab es nicht. Beide Damen Toiletten verstopft, ein freundlicher Hinweis an den " Chef" deswegen, wurde von diesem verbal unfreundlich und wenig Kundenorientiert zur Kenntnis genommen! Nicht das erste Mal, dass der Inhaber unfreundlich ist!
