Very nice coffee, it was our first time there, you can sit outside, the service was very nice and friendly, there was lemon cake and a nice coffee with milk, the order was processed super quickly, the prices and quality are 100% correct, we will be visiting more often now.👍

We have always enjoyed being here. The food was never that cheap but always plentiful and tasty. Compared to last year we were disappointed. We were there with 9 people. The portions were good, but the quality and taste of the steak has deteriorated significantly, but the prices have increased. For example, a portion of fries served lightly browned costs 7 euros. This is usury. Is there a new chef? What hasn't changed is the service staff. Always trying hard, courteous, polite and very friendly.

One of the few restaurants with German, seasonal cuisine. Very originally built from wood. 125 seats inside, 80 seats on the terrace, so food is prepared and there is quite a buzz when the place is full. Beautiful summer terrace with coffee and cake behind the house. Separate snack bar in front of the door. Definitely make a reservation, I'll then order the food from the menu online. Then everything happens in no time. Not a pub, multiple table occupancy has been calculated here.

Nice location but not exactly cheap

I was there for the first time, From the outside it looks like it's a snack bar but once you walk further it's worth the time away. Food top, location top, service top, service top, it's all there, we'll be back.

Such a nice and great breakfast

We ate a portion of fries and a piece of apple pie at the Waldcafé kiosk. The fries were suspiciously reminiscent of microwave fries and the apple pie was also ready-made. The price of €8.50 was absolutely unjustified, as you can also get freshly baked cakes elsewhere for that money.

A beautiful forest cafe and restaurant.

Great birthday in the middle of the Niendorf enclosure in the forest cafe Corell. Not only a wonderful environment and cozy rooms but also the best home cooking served by attentive and friendly people. Whether indoors or outdoors - even in the best walking weather, almost every guest will find space to enjoy coffee with or without cake or even very fine tarts. It wasn't the last time we were here 😀

We were walking in the Niendorfer Gehege today and stopped in here. We received very friendly service. It's rustic in a charming way, set in a wooden house. We ate venison gulsach with red cabbage, pears, cranberries, and spaetzle for €22.90, and roast beef with fried potatoes, diced ham, and remoulade for €21.90. It was delicious. It's a hexagonal wooden house with a winter garden that serves German cuisine. We'll definitely be back. Afterward, we had a piece of marzipan cake made with poppy seeds. It was also really good. We paid about €67 for the cake and cappuccino. There's ample parking on site.

It was very crowded in the forest cafe. Hence the quite loud background noise. The coffee and cake tasted very good and the service was quick and friendly. Nice location for long (digestive) walks.

Located on the edge of the forest near the Niendorf enclosure, this café with parking is a good opportunity to take a break for a quick snack or a full meal. By the way, it also tastes very good with the house beer.

The 5 Chicken Mc Nuggets get lost in the paper plate. The price of 5.40 euros with the non-existent service and the ambience is a joke. The fries are just as overpriced at 4.50, but they aren't quite as noticeably bad. We will avoid the snack bar in the future.

Cozy restaurant/café. We ordered the weekly changing special dish. Sauerbraten, dumplings, red cabbage and Kaiserschmarrn for dessert. Very tasty and plentiful at an absolutely fair price. Very attentive service.

Had punch & cappuccino outside because it was full at lunchtime - what a good sign in the middle of the week, but the seating could do with an upgrade, maybe that will happen automatically in the summer. Definitely worth it for the punch

First of all, the location, the ambience and the food are simply great. I would like to give this 5 stars. Also the service staff, super nice. Unfortunately the boss is absolutely unreasonable! Yesterday we were there (main course, dessert, 2 drinks each).. after paying, the boss suddenly came to the table and asked us to leave! There are other people waiting for the table and we don't have anything left and we have to clear the table now. It was 1520, we had reserved 1400 with no time limit. The service staff apologized for him, but it was so embarrassing and disturbing. I always love going there and now he has really spoiled it for me. There's a bad aftertaste... what a shame.

I've known the Waldcafe Corel for ages and we love going out to eat first, whether outside in the summer or inside in the winter and then having a nice Martinsganz or kale or the game dishes - it doesn't matter, everything tastes good because the service is great and there's a nice atmosphere.

We were there in a group for the torch relay followed by dinner. The restaurant and the rooms have a really great, rustic atmosphere. Food, for me schnitzel, really tasty and a huge portion with various side dishes, also absolutely reasonable in terms of price. The staff is super nice and warm, so all around great. It was my first time there, but definitely not the last. Two thumbs way up 👍👍

Visited the Waldcafe Corell restaurant in the Niendorf enclosure today. A very traditional forest restaurant and café, with home-style German cuisine. A great restaurant interior with a hexagonal ceiling. There are also many outdoor spaces around the restaurant in summer, which are also very interesting for cyclists and walkers who are out and about in the Niendorf enclosure. The menu is really great, with the variety of dishes. Today I had kale with smoked pork and fried potatoes from the daily specials. A really big portion at a fair price. The staff are extremely friendly and the service is quick. The food was first class, the price was right here. A very nice restaurant where, in addition to food, there is also coffee and cake. A clear recommendation to stop here!

We have enjoyed coming here again and again for years. Whether outside for a currywurst or in the dining room for a farmer's breakfast, game goulash or goose leg with red cabbage. It always tastes very good and the service is always very friendly, and the prices are more than reasonable. If you come during the week there is always a place. We feel very comfortable there. The Waldcafe Corell is an institution and is idyllically located in the Niendorf enclosure! We went there for a goose dinner (reservation necessary!) When we got there we were immediately greeted and seated by a very friendly waiter! The service was very attentive and friendly throughout our visit, something I haven't experienced in a long time! The food was good, but not outstanding! The goose was quite dry, the dumplings were probably not homemade and the sauce was a bit bland! Next time I visit I'd rather have the kale?! Despite small drawbacks, we would like to recommend the Waldcafe Corell!!

Wie waren zum Martingans Essen dort. Man hatte das Gefühl einer Massenabfertigung. Ein permanentes Kommen und Gehen. Innerhalb 15 Minuten kam das Essen, was uns schon sehr gewundert hat. Die Gans war leider sehr trocken, die Haut extrem hart. Für den Preis hatten wir was Anderes erwartet. Wir können hier keine Weiterempfehlung geben.

Wir hatten eine super köstliche Martinsgans mit schmackhaften Beilagen (Rotkohl, Bohnen, Kroketten und herrlicher Soße — wer Rosenkohl möchte, sollte diesen vorab bei der Reservierung bestellen). Unser erwachsener Sohn, der keinen Rotkohl mag, hat ihn probiert und war begeistert. Es war eine Freund dieses Speisen essen zu können. Gruß an die Küche. Faszinierend war der Service. Mit welcher Freundlichkeit und Ruhe die Mitarbeitenden diesen „Ansturm“ bewältigt haben. Tolles Team. Wir freuen uns schon auf das Gänse-Essen im nächste Jahr. Ein Tipp: schon im August reservieren, sonst wird es schwierig. Wobei das ja eigentlich für Corell spricht.

Die Martinsgans war sehr trocken, Rotkohl und Kloß waren okay. Wir saßen am Tisch zu den Toiletten, wo es gezogen hat. Daher hat meine Freundin ständig die Tür zugemacht. Der Besitzer meinte dann irgendwann, das gar kein Fenster auf sei und sie auch gerne schauen könnte. Einfach frech und unverschämt so mit seinen Gästen umzugehen!

The Waldcafé thinks it can make more sales if you kick the guests out after a maximum of 2 hours. Anyone who feels well treated as a guest should support the restaurateur, who puts sales before guest satisfaction. I won't do this anymore.

The good reviews are deceiving. First the croquettes were out! Pork tenderloin with Champion sauce and fries! The sauce didn't taste like anything, the fries weren't cooked through. It was really disgusting.

The ladies did it right and got up and left! If guests are deliberately ignored, you should ask yourself whether you are in the right place in the hospitality industry. We also had to wait over 20 minutes to pay, despite repeated requests. This experience was extremely unsatisfactory and I will not even purchase anything from the self-service outside in the future.

Unfortunately you can't give no stars at all. I was in the café today when a woman came in and quickly asked for a coke because she was diabetic and had low blood sugar.
