Schweinske Ottensen in Hamburg

Das ganze Lokal stinkt. Nach Klo, Nach altem Haus, nach Keller, nach Schimmel. In dem Toilettenbereich kan man nicht atmen. Das ist ganz schlimm. Die MA sind freundlich und das Fertigessen ist nix besonderes. Das weiß man aber vorher.

Vor dem Besuch in der Fabrik zum Rockkonzert haben wir uns stärken wollen. Meine Frau wählte Ofenkartoffel mit Lachs und ich die Schweinshaxe. Die Kartoffel war sehr lecker, von der Haxe war ich doch etwas enttäuscht. Kross ist deutlich anders und die Sauce deutlich eine Tütensauce. Aber - eine Haxe bei Schweinske ist eben nicht mit einer Haxe im Augustiner zu vergleichen. Dort ist eine Haxe Tagesgeschäft, hier eben nicht. Ich werde mich haxenmassig dann wohl in Geduld üben müssen, bis ich wieder mal in Bayern bin.

Mein Mann und ich waren die letzen 8 Tage 2 mal am Tag da. Zum Frühstücken und später zum Mittag/Abend essen. Bestes Lokal. Service Top, wir haben nichts auszusetzen. Mitarbeiter alle freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein großes Lob an die Küche. Essen war immer perfekt und lecker. Wir hoffen das es schnell wieder September wird und wir dann unsere Zeit wieder bei euch verbringen können. Und wir hoffen doch alle alten Gesichter wieder zu sehen. Forgot the dip for the bread and my dish was forgotten or changed. Apparently we didn't listen properly and we had to eat the bread dry. Schweinske is really cool but the service today is useless.

All I can say is that you have to have a lot of time. First I waited 10 minutes for my drink and then I waited more than 30 minutes for my food, which only came when I asked and then took it with me. Unfortunately, I didn't check what was packed for me and so I didn't get a Currywurst Admiral, which I also paid for, but a completely normal one. Unfortunately I can't recommend eating there.

Clean, great selection (for vegetarians) and food comes quickly. No unnecessary chichi - just a good selection, good products, friendly service. Everything went well, I'd love to come back soon...

It's a place that my boyfriend and I used to go to when we first started dating and it has a very nostalgic touch to us, so it's become a tradition for us to go there on special occasions. We always order the same thing: Schnitzel XXL and beef steak Gaucho. We have had a waiter for a very long time and he is simply the best waiter we have seen in Hamburg. He always attends to every detail of the order and creates a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere. It's a pity if he's not there, because we've noticed that recently there are a lot of new waiters who are doing their best, but you can't expect them to be better than waiters who have been there for many years and are professionals. The steak in the restaurant is surprisingly good for the price and the schnitzel is truly one of the best in Hamburg. We will definitely come back and hope that our favorite waiter will be there next time too!

We were happy to have found a quiet place where there wasn't much going on to have something to eat. We got tickets, but we never saw the waitress again afterwards. After half an hour we left. Thanks for nothing, I'll happily charge you for our wasted time!

Food was ok, what was not possible was that cigarette smoke wafted into the restaurant because the door to the area was always left open. I asked them to close it once because of the smell, but unfortunately it only lasted 5 minutes. Something like that doesn't work, it's simply inconsiderate!!!! I actually want to enjoy my food and not be bothered by the cigarette smoke.

Sarah very helpful. Very attentive when we arrived with a baby, we were offered a better place in the shade and a baby chair. We'd love to come back.

Affordable drinks and food as well as desserts, changing weekly/seasonal offers, unfortunately the asparagus ran out yesterday. Especially popular burgers and schnitzel. We had the Hamburger Schnitzel, grilled steak and for dessert the salted caramel crumble (although at almost 6 euros per piece I found it a bit more expensive for its size). As a snack there were 2 pieces of mini bread with dip for free. We paid around 60 euros for 2 people with drinks, main courses and dessert, totally ok, we enjoyed it. The service was attentive, quick and friendly. The ambience is ok, right at the Altona station.

Four of us had breakfast today, the shop wasn't that full, but it took 15 minutes for someone to notice us. Food came quite quickly and was ok. To reorder you had to go to the service staff because there was no one at the table again. Even to pay you had to run after staff. Maybe we had a bad day but sitting outside isn't the best option

If I could, I would give 0 stars! We had to wait 1 hour for our food today. People who were already waiting before we arrived sometimes had to wait even longer. When it arrived, the asparagus was hard and not really warm. Anyone could have done this better. We were sitting at the entrance and a disgusting, unpleasant smell kept coming from the toilet. When we wanted to pay, we were told that someone would be there shortly, but we still waited 20 minutes until someone was there. Although they apologized and blamed the wait on a supposed lack of staff, the staff behind the counter drank shots and chatted while we and others waited and tables were ready to be cleared. I've been to many restaurants that were very busy and had a lack of staff, but I've never experienced anything like this!

We ordered breakfast and it took a long time to be served even though the place was only half full. The food was OK, but we weren't impressed.

Service was super nice, friendly with a sense of humor, the ambience was fine but just getting old. I had currywurst with fries, currywurst with sauce was delicious, fries were boring and dry, the price for my dish was quite expensive. Easy to reach by bus and train directly at Altona train station, keep it up despite my highly recommended

Nothing to be taken for granted today: even though we just wanted something to drink, we were served. The service was rustic-friendly, the beer selection was extensive and when we did work up an appetite, we could only order side dishes, which were very tasty. Always happy!

The team rips it out. The food is like in other Schweinskes, but here it is impeccable! There is also an interesting lunch menu. The regular guests from the neighborhood especially take advantage of this! The fact that it exists is due to the warm service and the fast and good cuisine. Lovely again!

Very close to the Altona train station, this traditional German restaurant is more like the dishes of Central and South Germany: fried pork chops, pork neck, grilled sausages. There were not many people when I came at noon, the taste was pretty average, and the price/performance ratio was normal. There is a cute little pig in the house who crashes through the ceiling.

Large portion for normal prices. Friendly, fast and clean. Like years ago and always with pleasure. Keep it up.

Hier lernten wir "Schweinske" kennen. Morgens, Mittags und abends waren wir hier zu Gast und wurden immer sehr, sehr freundlich bedient. Sehr zu empfehlen. In der Hoffnung, dass Sabine noch da ist, kommen wir im Sommer gerne wieder...😉

Super leckeres Essen und endlich auch einige vegetarische und vegane Optionen. Die veganen Gerichte sind große Portionen die definitiv satt machen und auch wirklich lecker sind. Ambiente ist wie in einem bürgerlichen modernen Restaurant. Der Service-Mann war super nett.

Wir hatten 3x Schnitzel die sehr lecker waren. Dazu gab es Pommes 🍟, alles war wie gesagt sehr lecker 😋 Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Alles im allem war es sehr gut, gerne wieder. Vielleicht sollte man Abends ein Tisch reservieren. Könnte sonst voll werden.

Die Institution wie man sie erwartet, real, authentisch und lecker. Schnitzel wie immer super und zur Winterzeit der hausgemachte Grünkohl stark zu empfehlen. 👌

Haben da schon mal gegessen und ist uns in guter Erinnerung geblieben. Preis - Leistung stimmt. Personal war sehr aufmerksam. Kommen gerne wieder

Leider nicht empfehlenswert, außer Standort und Einrichtung war es keine gute Erfahrung. Hatte das Schweinske vom Hauptbahnhof als gut in Erinnerung. Hier war es das Gegenteil: Das Schnitzel schmeckte furchtbar, gefühlt war es altes Fleisch,nicht saftig. Dazu wurde es in sehr sehr vielem Fett gebraten. Keine knusprige Panade, sondern weiche labrige Hülle mit fettigem Geschmack. Die Soße schmeckte nach Geschmacksverstärkern und am Ende beim bezahlen war der Kellner überfordert und unfreundlich mir gegenüber. (lieferte das falsche Getränk, vergaß den Dip zum Hausbrot, war gestresst und überfordert) Alles in allem,leider eine Enttäuschung.
