It was indescribably bad. The goulash is totally sour, like 25% cleaning vinegar. The bread dumplings were completely dry, like dry toast stuck together. The plaice fillets are ready from the package with finger-thick breading. The apricot schnapps as compensation, an indefinable sweet broth, liqueur?

Medium, The service was really very good and extremely helpful. The beer was delicious and brought back memories of Austria. Unfortunately, when I ate it, it looked rather poor, my juice goulash was quite sour and the bread dumplings were unusually hard. My wife's onion roast was simply not an onion roast but a medium fried steak with a weak sauce.

The food is Austrian, great, the fried chicken is highly recommended, could be a touch more tender. Many large tables, two/three smaller, more comfortable ones would be nice, but you will still see us there more often. Thanks for the lovely evening!

This restaurant with a small outdoor area and a large indoor area is located in a quiet side street on Olivaer Platz. Food was very tasty and large portion. The service was very attentive and very friendly. We sat outside quite nicely. Were very satisfied, gladly again. To be on the safe side, it's better to order in advance. Lots of regulars there.

Phew - I define an inexpensive meal as it is meant literally: It has to be worth the price, no matter how high it is... The quality was subpar and definitely not worth the price! I just warn you before loading!

We went to the restaurant based on my Google search and the positive reviews and we really weren't disappointed. The atmosphere is very bourgeois, which makes it seem very pleasant. Significantly better than other restaurants in Berlin, all of which are pimped up from A-Z to high class. The reception by the service was great! So warm, kind and open. I found it very great. The recommendations for food and dessert were also great. Thanks again for the hazelnut schnapps recommendation and the orange juice to toast. ;) The food was also very tasty. I had the chicken schnitzel with cornflake breading. Plus fries and vegetables. If you pay attention to the firmness of the vegetables, then it would be perfect all around. For dessert we had the Kaiserschmarrn. Super tasty. I've never had that in a restaurant before. Overall, I can highly recommend the restaurant and would stop by again at any time if I was in Berlin again. The overall package was just right and was a very great experience for me. Regarding the food: catastrophic, never again!!

We were there on Thursday, July 11th. with approx. 23x people registered for dinner. It was warm, so I politely asked if our proposed spot could be moved from inside to outside, knowing we would be split between different tables. After a grumpy response ("Beliner Schnauze") from the waitress, it was possible, which made us happy, especially since the weather was nice. I wanted to relieve our waitress (she immediately told us that she was alone for the counter and service and that we should be patient) and asked for a pad and pen to check the first round of drinks. She wanted to do it herself and I should sit down. After a while - she had to serve other guests as well (approx. 15-20 times) - she came with a tablet and asked each table about drinks and dishes (a reduced menu with 3 main courses for us as a group - which I thought was good). The tablet failed at the last table because the battery was empty and she had to query all the tables again. The waiting time for the average meal (salad, fish and schnitzel) was ok, although not quick. The waiting time for the Kaiserschmarrn she advertised was even longer. The Kaiserschmarrn was very fattening and by no means fluffy, rather less to our taste. All in all it was ok, but in my opinion the service wasn't particularly friendly, not even in response to my willingness to cooperate. I would try another restaurant in the area next time.

Quirky old cozy venue featuring Austrian beer on tap and Austrian food. I had the Puntigamer which I really liked. Staff are friendly, generous and service-oriented. They are proud of their restaurant and should be. Quiet location not far from all the high end shopping street of Kurfürstendamm. The kind of secret location you want to find when visiting Berlin.

A meeting point for Carinthians in Berlin, proper Brettljause, tasty Kasnudeln and Puntigamer beer round off the “home visit”. Of course, a fruit schnapps shouldn't be missing either.

I heard good things about this place but was very disappointed with my experience. I expected more from this highly rated restaurant. Our food was horrible. Salad was wilted and browning. Way over priced and disappointing! We had to go eat after we left.

So far I have seen myself as a regular guest who enjoyed the good food and the friendly and attentive service. During my last visit, I was informed when I placed my order that card payments were no longer possible, to which I then responded that I had to go to the nearest ATM. When I received my drink, I was also asked that I should get the money straight away on the innkeeper's orders and not after dinner, which I noted with surprise, but nevertheless implemented. But no one wanted to look in the wallet to check. I regretted the service that was sent ahead and would have understood it if I had visited this restaurant for the first time. This can also scare away your regular guests...

The service lady was very friendly and attentive. The price/performance ratio is outrageous. The salad was inedible, among other things. yellow iceberg lettuce and cucumbers (dry, probably from the day before). The quality was really subpar. The schnitzel with fries as well. The bread was fresh and tasted good too. Apart from the drinks, it's the only thing edible. I'm happy to spend more money if the quality/freshness is right. But this visit was simply a bitter disappointment. Luckily there are other addresses in Berlin where you can get good quality. Never again. Which, as we discovered (unfortunately too late), is also the opinion of some neighbors.

Unfortunately, the service ladies always take care of things for free. The kitchen is resistant to advice: carelessly thrown salads often lack the marinade or are only available in homeopathic doses. As if marinade were a cost factor! The map is a complete disaster. Offer discounted meals at lunchtime, but only list the 0.2 glasses for drinks. If I still want to work afterwards, 0.1 Veltliner is the right dose! And ditto Kaiserschmarrn: No matter whether it's lunchtime or evening, I want to be able to breathe afterwards! So: halve the portion. Unfortunately, management turns a deaf ear.

Essen war sehr gut, Ambiente auch angenehm, die Bedienungen zählen mit zu den freundlichsten Bedienungen, die wir je in Berlin erlebt haben.

Es war ein ungünstiger Beginn bei unserem Weihnachtsessen, da wir zu 15. Tisch reserviert hatten, aber nur 12 Plätze am Tisch gedeckt waren. Irgendwann bekamen wir weitere Stühle und saßen halt enger zusammen. Irgendwann war der Nachbartisch frei und war dann halt bequemer. Zum Essen haben wir hauptsächlich Gans bestellt, was auch sehr lecker geschmeckt hat. Kaiserschmarrn als Nachttisch hat man bestimmt schon mal etwas besseres gegessen. Sonst ganz nette Bedienung.

O espaço é agradável e cheguei com bastantes espectativas e o atendimento razoável, mas com o nível de comida apresentado não consigo avaliar com mais que 2 estrelas. Um peito de frango sem qualquer tempero, congelado, assim como o talo de couve flor. Os croquetes de batata que também acompanhavam, se não fosse o sal e pimenta iam todos para trás. A cenoura não foi limpa e além de crua, vinha com raiz. Cobraram 20€ pelo prato, mas pelo que foi apresentado.. Muito mau e estragou-me a noite.

Gänseessen nicht zu empfehlen. Völlig überteuert für das Essen, was auf den Tisch kam. Qualität und Quantität des Essens war schlecht.

Gänseessen nicht zu empfehlen. Die Gans (Bruststück) war trocken und das Stück sehr klein. Rotkohl und Grünkohl leider geschmacklich sehr schlecht. Knödel schmeckten nach Fertigprodukt aus dem Kochbeutel. Preis-Leistung passte überhaupt nicht. Bei der Rot-und Grünkohlportion hatten wir den Eindruck, als ob der letzte Rest aus dem Topf gekratzt wurde. Nachtisch, wir hatten Kaiserschmarn, geschmacklich ebenfalls nicht doll.

Waren mit Freunden und Kind da. Tolles Schnitzel mit Gurken- & Kartoffelsalat. Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Der große runde Tisch war für uns 8 Personen gemütlich. Freundliche Bedienung. Wartezeit ok. Schön, dass es Rentnerportionen gab. Mein Rostbraten war bisschen zäh, der Kartoffelbrei wässrig und stückig. Der Kaiserschmarren war leider durch das viele Backpulver eher ein trockener Kuchen und pelzig-sauer auf der Zunge…

Solide Küche, sehr nette Inhaber, und gemütliche Wirtshaus/Nachbarschaftskneipen-Atmosphäre. Es lief Fußball (ohne Ton). Kann man machen. Preislich ok. Leckeres Bier vom Fass.

Das authentischste, familiärste und qualitativ hochwertigste Restaurant mit österreichischer Küche, außerhalb von Österreich. Die Küchenkreation "Schnitzel Vogelweide" ist immer wieder ein Genuss! Für Liebhaber der Kärntener Küche und eines kühlen Feierabendbieres bestens geeignet! Immer wieder gerne!

Ich bin kulinarisch nun wirklich nicht leicht zu beeindrucken, doch hier überzeugt mehr als das Essen! Das Restaurant wird von einer nahbaren Familie, mit herzlichster Gastfreundschaft, hervorragendem und vor allem authentischem, österreichischen Essen und viel Liebe zum Detail, geführt. Wer auf urige Atmosphäre steht und auf der Suche nach einem guten Schnitzel/ Kaiserschmarrn ist, der sollte hier mindestens einmal vorbeischauen - ich verspreche .. es wird nicht der letzte Besuch sein!

Ich bin ohne Erwartungen in die Vogelweide gekommen, und wurde mehr als positiv überrascht. Das Essen und der Service waren außergewöhnlich gut. Wer Lust ein sehr gutes Schnitzel hat, ist hier genau richtig! Immer wieder gerne !

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht, Weder das Schnitzel noch das Hühnchen waren lecker zubereitet, Optik und geschmacklich voll daneben. Positiv war auf jeden Fall das freundliche Personal. Der Koch hat wohl in den Mūlleimer gegriffen.

Hallo, wir aren am Freitag, 6.10, im Restaurant Vogelweide. Wir haben zwei Tagesgerichte gewählt und gleich den sogenannten „ liebevollen Kaiserschmarrn“ als Dessert bestellt. Die Tagesgerichte waren ok, leider war der Kaiserschmarrn nicht den Namen wert. Sehr enttäuschend.Die Servicekraft hat zugleich nach Wahrnehmung unserer Enttäuschung das Dessert storniert. Wir können nur empfehlen, dass der Koch die Anregung annimmt und die Rezeptur ändert.

Sehr gutes Wiener Schnitzel mit einem ungewöhnlichen Kartoffelsalat. Ist wohl steirische und nicht Wiener Art. Schade ! Das Personal ist extrem freundlich, ungewohnt für Berlin !

Alle was auf den Tisch kommt ist gut. Das Kalbsschnitzel mit das Beste in Bärlin, Tafelspitz mit warmer Souce und Kren wunderbar, auch das Steak mit Röstzwiebel sehr ordentlich, nur die überbackenen Spätzle waren zu fett. Bier und Wein aus Österreich, dass Wasser auch. Preis / Leistung OK 👌 , können wir nur empfehlen, auch mal Mittag zum Lunch !

Viele Jahre gingen wir hier sehr gern und oft zum Essen hin, feierten Geburtstage im größerem Rahmen und waren rundum zufrieden. Was uns heute hier geboten wurde ist nicht gut. Die neue Karte liest sich sehr gut.... Allerdings sollte man sich auf sehr übersichtliche Portionen einstellen. Auf meinen Hinweis darauf wurde ich über regionale Produkte aufgeklärt und hochpreisigen Käse der verwendet wird. Alles andere als zufriedenstellend... Das wars... Wir werden nicht wieder kommen

Das Lokal vermittelt beim Hineingehen eher den Eindruck einer 70er Jahre Kneipe, der Gastraum dunkel und mit viel überflüssigem tamtam bestückt. Das Essen war allerdings grandios und extrem lecker. Toiletten sauber und zeitgemäß. Highly recommended!

Das war der schlechteste Kartoffelsalat als Beilage, auch der Gurkensalat war nicht besonders. Das Schnitzel für 25 EUR viel zu klein + mit Wiener Schnitzel nicht zu vergleichen. Teuer und kleine Portionen, Preis-Leistung schlecht. Leider wird man auch nicht aufgeklärt über Seniorenteller oder den Beilagemöglichkeiten. Sitzmöglichkeiten auch nicht gerade der Hammer. Nicht zu empfehlen und schon garnicht zu den Preußen, da gibt es bessere

Super leckeres Essen, z..B letztes Mal ein Tafelspitz, der auf der Zunge zerging mit wunderbar sahnigem Kren und zum Dessert unglaublich leckeren Palatschinken. Alles serviert von einer sehr herzlichen, aufmerksamen und freundlichen Bedienung und einer echten Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Das sind die Gründe, aus denen wir immer wieder kommen.

Schönes, in ländlichem Stil eingerichtetes Restaurant, sehr freundliche Bedienung, kleine, aber gute österreichische Speisekarte. Das Essen war rundum sehr lecker! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, um die anderen kärntner Schmankerl zu probieren!

Nun ja, der Service ist top, beim Essen bin ich nicht ganz so überzeugt. Ich glaube, das Wiener Schnitzel wäre die bessere Wahl gewesen. Meine Pfanne, serviert auf einem Teller (?), war ganz okay, beim beiliegenden Gemüse war es aber mehr für Optik, geschmacklich nicht so. Das erste Mal, dass ich das Gemüse nicht gegessen habe. Dafür war der Nachtisch top, wenn auch das Mousse für mich ungewöhnlich fest war. Aber ich glaube das gehört so. Im Großen und Ganzen ein gelungener Besuch, würde wiederkommen, aber anders wählen.

Eine Empfehlung für die Küche unseres kleinen Nachbarn. ÖSTERREICH. Es lohnt sich bestimmt.

Geschmacklich okay, wenn auch nichts frisch zubereitet ist. Alles vorbereitet und aufgewärmt und schwer durch Convenience geprägt. Ein ausgemusterter Fußballer läuft nervös durch das Lokal und lässt den Fernseher brüllen - natürlich mit Fußball auf dem Bildschirm. Der Lärm schmälert die Aufmerksamkeit des Personals, das auch gerne schnippisch wird, wenn man eine Frage stellt. Wohl einer der schlechtesten Österreicher in Berlin.

Abendessen in der Vogelweide wollten wir mal wieder. 18 Uhr. Bis auf einen Tisch, das Lokal ist leer. Es ist Wochenende!! Na gut. Auf der Karte 5 Hauptgerichte. Das ist nicht üppig. Nur Fleisch. Wir wählen Gulasch und Händerlpfanderl. Vorab eine Suppe die gut schmeckt. Die Hauptgerichte sind gut angerichtet. Also. Guten Appetit. Doch der vergeht einem bald. Das Gulasch fürchterlich scharf,die beiden Knödel trocken. Die Zunge brennt. Das Händerl zart die Kroketten gut doch die Sosse aus der Tüte. Warum?? Ist es deshalb so leer hier? Ich bestelle noch Marillenknödel als Nachtisch. Die mach ich daheim auch selbst. Das Dessert kommt schnell und es schmeckt. Mit diesem Geschmack auf der Zunge fahr ich Heim. Nochmal werde ich nicht kommen. Als Österreicher in Berlin hab ich schon viel viel besser gegessen.
