We spontaneously went to dinner in the 🍺 garden without a reservation. We received a friendly and warm welcome. The schnitzels were large and tasty. The waiter was super nice and accommodating. We'll definitely come back. Thank you for a nice evening 😋😁👌

We had 7 different meals, all of the food was top notch, very tasty, very nicely prepared, large enough portions at a reasonable, fair price. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. The ambience is lovingly and very attractively designed. Tum Bur is worth a visit in all areas, we all loved it!!! Dear Tum Bur, please continue like this, thank you very much!!!!

Despite a emergency menu consisting of temporary schnitzel dishes, the food was at the table very quickly. It was freshly prepared, a real "men's portion", and super tasty 😋👍. The service staff was really very nice and responded to special requests despite the lack of a menu. Price performance was more than justified. Thank you for the delicious food and the top care. From me, only recommended!!!!

We recently went there spontaneously by bike because we were cycling along the Ruhr. The service is super nice and you don't have to wait long for something. We once had a Viennese style schnitzel with fried potatoes and a pepper cream schnitzel with fried potatoes. The schnitzels were very well prepared and really tender. This was actually meat from the top shell and not pressed meat or anything like that. The light pepper sauce had a good spiciness and wasn't too powerful. The fried potatoes also tasted very good. We only seasoned the fried potatoes with a little salt - but it should be said that everyone has their own taste, especially when it comes to salt. The only downer was the salad, which could have used a little more variety. That's exactly what I mentioned to the waitress and I can now understand why there weren't peppers or carrots included, for example. Many guests probably insist on getting a simple salad. Varieties such as peppers were often discarded. Regarding cleanliness: Both the terrace and the dining room of the restaurant were clean and nicely decorated. The toilets were also clean and nothing was missing. Conclusion: We would love to come back.

Extremely overpriced!! Steak 37 euros A year ago you could still eat here at relatively normal prices!! A pity...

I was here for dinner. My schnitzel with fries was very tasty. The service was very friendly and quick. I would describe it as a medium price level for schnitzels. A fellow eater had the impression that the grill plate was of a more upscale quality (price performance). The number of parking spaces is manageable, I'm not sure whether you can also use the one at the campsite next door. There are also many cyclists coming from the neighboring cycle path on the Ruhr. I'd love to come back.

A restaurant in Hattingen, on the Ruhr, that has been well run for years and that I have enjoyed visiting a few times. Nicely located at the Ruhrtal leisure center and on the nearby towpath, "Tum Bur" with its beautiful beer garden is a popular stopover for cyclists and walkers.

Were there today for Mother's Day. Service is friendly. However, the food is not recommended. Steak had to go back. Minced meat from the Balkan plate was sometimes not well done. You don't even get asked how the food was. Prices are unreasonable for the quality.

It is a beautiful beer garden that can be easily reached from the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path. You have to drive about 200m away from the bike path and you are there in absolute peace. I can particularly recommend the Cordon Bleu! There is a campsite right next to it.

Nette Begrüßung. Immer abwechselnd Deko. Schön eingerichtet. Helle Atmosphäre. Gute Getränke Karte mit Bier und Wein. Vom Fass kommt Veltins und Stauder. Gute Speisekarte mit Gerichten vom Balkan. Au h klassische Schnitzel. Zum Nachtisch ein Eis oder Schnäppschen.

At Tum Bur, good-bourgeois meets international cuisine, the dishes are always delicious and the portions are large, so everyone gets enough here. Changing daily specials are also offered. Well, it was our first time there for lunch but the dishes on the Balkan menu (Cevapcici) weren't good in terms of taste. Calf liver is also not recommended.

Very nice and friendly service, nice atmosphere and clean. Milk coffee a disaster, and that for €3 per cup. It was coffee with lukewarm milk. The food is not what we imagine good cuisine to be. But it should go without saying that dogs don't belong in the restaurant. That's what the outdoor area is for in summer. I like animals, but I don't like flying dog hair.

Empfehlenswert vorher zu reservieren, da hierhin einige Camper, Radsportler und Wanderer ausweichen. Wir haben nun mehrfach im Biergarten gesessen. Ein sehr schönes bequemes und liebevoll dekoriertes Ambiente. Absolut entspannend. Mutter und Sohn haben einfach ihre Berufung gefunden und deshalb gibt es einfach fünf Sterne. Ich lege noch sehr viel wert auf diese Menschen. Absolut professionell, kompetent, aufmerksam, sehr freundlich. Der junge Mann hat sich für die längere Wartezeit entschuldigt, sich trotz aller voll besetzten Tische zwischendurch nach neuen Getränken etc. erkundigt und war fix dabei. Anmerkung zum Service, der wirklich alles gegeben hat: wenn innerhalb von 20 Minuten 60 Leute die Location betreten, sollten die Gäste bitte Geduld aufbringen - diesen Ansturm mit wenig Personal zu bewerkstelligen ist heftig. Das Essen (Pfifferlinge, Schnitzel, Zanderfilet, Bratkartoffeln, Pommes): die Wartezeit hat sich definitiv gelohnt! Alles frisch und selbstgemacht! Deshalb haben wir direkt wieder reserviert! Die Preise passen zur Qualität! Der hausgemachte Käsekuchen ist ebenfalls saulecker!!! Auch unsere weiteren Besuche waren unübertrefflich: so viel Menschlichkeit und Herzblut! Ein tolles Team und ein dickes Danke an den sehr guten Koch/Bäcker! Mein Respekt gilt allen bemühten Gastronomen in dieser erschwerten Zeit. Haltet bitte durch!

Am ersten Weihnachtsfeiertag mit der ganzen Familie hier Essen gewesen. Es gab nur eine Weihnachtsspeisekarte, die hat aber vollkommen ausgereicht. Essen und Service Top.

Erste mal dort gewesen durch Zufall auf einer fahrradtour gesehen. Essen sehr lecker. Personal super nett. Werde dort wieder essen.

Sehr freundliches Personal! Essen war ok, habe einen Salat mit Gambas gehabt. Die Salatportion könnte durchaus größer sein. Falls wir mal wieder in der Nähe sind kommen wir gerne wieder!

Einfach toll war es! Ländlich und ruhig gelegen an einem Campingplatz. Wir haben im Außenbereich gesessen, wir wollten schnell etwas essen und trinken. Man kannte den Unterschied zwischen Radler und Alster, das ist nicht selbstverständlich😄! Das Essen kam recht zügig und war richtig lecker😋! Die Portionsgrößen waren sehr ordentlich, Preis-Leistung sehr gut👍! Im Innenbereich waren wir nicht, den kann ich also nicht beurteilen.

Ein freundlicher Empfang. Angenehme warme Einrichtung. Schöne übersichtliche Speisekarte. Leckere Speisen. Fleisch und Fisch. Auch Salat und Suppen. Frisches Bier vom Fass. Große Auswahl an Spirituosen. Im Sommer ist auch ein Biergarten vorhanden.

Ein ganz tolles Erlebnis! Mit hervorragendem Service und wirklich hochwertigen Gerichten! Wir sind 2-3 mal die Woche essen, und legen viel auf guten Service und hoher Qualität. Gerade Spezialitäten aus dem Balkan erfordern viel know how und eine erstklassige Küche! Hier muss man sagen haben ich besser gegessen als in den meisten Restaurants in Kroatien oder Bosnien selber! Hut ab und großes Lob an die Küche. Der Service ist steht’s zur Verfügung und immer zur richtigen Sekunde da! Wir mussten nicht einmal nach einem Kellner rufen! TOP TOP TOP! Trotz der Anreise von 60km werden wir hier nun öfter Speisen! Vielen Dank und bis bald!!

Leider können wir dem Tum Bur keine gute Bewertung geben. Wir wollten nur eine Kleinigkeit dort essen und wirklich die schlechteste Currywurst unseres Lebens bekommen. Schade. Die Bedienung war freundlich.
