Only one other table was occupied, and we were seated right next to it. The chairs were far too close to the other guests, and the wait staff couldn't even reach between them, so we had to take our plates. Overpriced drinks. Although only a few tables were occupied, it was sometimes difficult to get the attention of the waiters, who, in their neon green sweatshirts, didn't fit in with the rest of the ambiance. More show than substance... The ice cream seems to have been around for a while (rubbery consistency). What a shame!

Ordering and paying via the web app was cumbersome: only credit card payments were accepted – then I waited 20 minutes for coffee and cake :( The waiters barely spoke German, and everyone was clearly inexperienced in serving. You get the impression that the owners don't care about service. The cheesecake was dry – it seemed like it had been cut a while ago and was rubbery. The plum cake was great, the drinks were good. Our recommendation: Walk 200 meters further for food and drinks :))

White Garden Party on July 27th. A "stylish summer picnic" was announced at the 4-star hotel "53 Grad." The first annoyance: conflicting information about the start and entrance to the event. Access was so complicated that we had to wait for more than half an hour without anything moving smoothly. On the terrace, the seating (beer tent sets) was so close together that we inevitably had physical contact with the person behind us. Guests had to pick up their food, packed in a cardboard box, at a counter. The quality of the contents reminded me of food from a budget airline. Although the cake was good. The problem: if there were four boxes on the table, it was already full. Everything was in disposable packaging, including disposable cutlery. This created a huge amount of waste. 4-star hotel? The waiters were sometimes overwhelmed—even linguistically. The barracks tone of the "head waitress" was remarkable. Music is always a matter of taste; neither the live musicians (three people) nor the DJ were able to create a good atmosphere—presumably due to the overall circumstances. It's questionable whether they were motivated to do so. Overall, the organizer's brilliant idea turned into a complete failure—but certainly not economically, as the picnic wasn't nearly worth the price. For a 4-star hotel, the presentation of food of this quality, especially in disposable packaging, is inappropriate.

Yes, I can recommend this place. Great location with a view of Lake Bad Zwischenahn. Very nice atmosphere.

No, I would imagine the food in a 4-star hotel to be fresher and not always the same. The service wasn't optimal either. Friendly Asian-looking people flit around, but they don't always understand what you want.

Just very beautiful there. But unfortunately out of my league, very, very expensive. It's a shame actually...

The "fried potato sticks" are just fries (which you could have noted), there were Styrofoam balls in my cola and I had to pay for a sauce that I didn't even order. I think 3 fries, a burger and 4 cokes for €59 are very inappropriate for the quality of the actual food.

As Zw'ahners, we used to enjoy coming here over the years. Unfortunately, the prices have now gone up so much (e.g. cappuccino €4.60, iced coffee €9.90!!!) that we have unfortunately decided not to come here again for the time being. Just a shame. We also noticed that the outdoor area (beds, decorations, etc.) now looks very neglected and unkempt. On the positive side, the staff is, as always, very polite and attentive.

We were only outside on the terrace because of a bike tour. Just had something to drink. Nice service, great view! Nice and clean sanitary facilities.

Very courteous staff, although the opening times could be more reliable and the menu could be a little “bigger”. But maybe There is another reason why.

Warning: If you order a salad with tomatoes and carrots for almost €15, you will receive a plate of green salads with three tiny pieces of tomato (less than half a normal tomato in total) and parts of carrots that I could neither see nor taste. The dressing that had already been applied reached a third of the salad. My companion ordered mayonnaise for her “potato sticks” (fries) for €2, which was of poor quality and tasted without any kick. A salad from every supply chain is richer and every chip shop offers an equivalent and often better mayonnaise. The atmosphere is nice there, but you should eat somewhere else...

Very, very tasty food. Large portions and very appetizingly prepared. The service is generally very good and friendly but becomes a little weaker as the evening progresses. No further requests for drinks could be made. The ambience is nice. Overall, we had a lovely evening and can absolutely recommend the restaurant.

We had our Christmas party there. The ambience is great but the food was not good at all. The staff was friendly but they hardly asked if we wanted anything else and the plates weren't cleared away either

The worst Christmas dinner ever - service was terrible! The ambience is nice but that doesn't save you! More appearance than reality! Stay away from this store! Embarrassing to invite people to dinner here!

A special place. With a wonderful view of the Zwischenahnet Sea. Very friendly staff... We like to make a stop here.

The restaurant is getting old, with chipped, dented lampshades on the tables. The Christmas card menu lower canteen level. And entertainment that we hadn't booked, but which we should have paid for per person, was of the lowest standard and not up-to-date and not appropriate. Christmas Eve with the family was ruined. Invoice incorrect. The first time for us and not again.

It was a very nice, modern restaurant with good, upscale, home-style cuisine and a very friendly and courteous service staff.

Was a guest several times and was looked after very well. There is also attentive service and a good selection of food and drinks. The kitchen is good. Compliments to the chef. You can also sit outside on the terrace with a wonderful view of the lake. Good ambience inside and outside.

Wir haben die letzte warmen Herbstabende draußen verbracht. Sitzen und Essen waren gut, das Personal hatte mitunter Verständigungsprobleme.

Das Restaurant besticht durch ein edeles Ambiente und einem freudlichen Restaurantfachmann. Dann gibt es asiatische Bedienungen die nicht verstehen und nicht verstanden werden können. Bringen das Parfait zum Hauptgang und verstehrn nicht, dass das aufgetaut sein wird bevor die Hauptmahlzeiten verzehrt ist. Eine Nachspeise für 9.50€ mit Orangen Filets, wo alle Trennwände der Orange noch vorhanden sind und damit eher nicht essbar ist absolut nicht zu empfehlen! Schade, da der Ausblick von der Terasse auf das Bad Zwischenahner Meer brillant ist.

Tolles Restaurant mit sehr guter Küche. Der Rinderrücken mit Pfifferlingen war eine Wucht. Das hausgemachte Erdbeerparfait war ein süßes Erlebnis der Extraklasse. Freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service mit viel Aufmerksamkeit. Es war ein wirklich schöner Abend mit wundervoller Aussicht aufs Zwischenahner Meer. Danke 👍

Ambiente, Essen & Service ist wie sich das gehört für ein 4 Sterne Hotel. Eine kleine Speiseauswahl zeichnet eine gute Küche aus. Qualität war dementsprechend sehr gut. Es wird für alle etwas angeboten. Die Preise sind absolut gerechtfertigt. Essen war lecker und ausreichend. Ambiente ist sehr schön und lädt zum verweilen ein. Service war sehr freundlich. Preis Leistung stimmt.

Hallo Freunde. An sich ist es dort mega toll (wir waren schon vor Ort) ABER. Dieser Besuch war anders - warum auch immer. Ich liebe diese Location wirklich. Die Servicekräfte und/oder die Mitarbeiter drinnen waren an diesem Tag absolut überfordert. Es waren draußen genügend Mitarbeiter, sodass ein vernünftiger Ablauf gewährleistet wäre. Wir haben aber über 30 Minuten auf insgesamt vier Getränke gewartet. Die Bestellung wurde am Tisch über ein tragbares Gerät, direkt nach innen gesendet. Eigentlich geniale Voraussetzungen für einen super Ablauf und kurze Wege. Die Bestellung müsste dann mit Angabe der Tischnummer auf das Tablett kommen. Trotzdem lief zwischendurch der Service mehrfach an unserem Tisch vorbei und suchte den Empfänger der Getränke. Teilweise machte es den Eindruck, es wären frische Aushilfen am Werk, was ja nicht ungewöhnlich wäre. Aber, dann muss ich die Kräfte vorher etwas einarbeiten. So, war das der Abzug für den 5ten Stern. Und meine 4 Sterne sind wohlwollend. Ich habe selber Gastronomie gehabt. Wir hatten nicht solche Hilfsmittel, die die Bestellung gleich mit Tisch-Nummer nach drinnen geleitet haben. Meine Leute (ich natürlich auch) haben mit Block und Stift gearbeitet. Auch Zurufe, die gibt es häufig, wurden schnellstmöglich und richtig serviert. Die Getränke selber und auch der Kuchen waren jedoch super lecker. Ich denke mal, wenn etwas weniger los ist, dann klappt es dort wesentlich besser. Trotzdem kommen wir wieder dort hin. Bei unserem ersten Besuch (im letzten Jahr) lief es besser. Schauen wir mal. Ich weiß ganz sicher, ihr könnt das grundsätzlich verdammt gut. Wenn es nur ein schlechter Tag war, tut es mir leid. Ich schreibe immer, was ich zum Zeitpunkt meines Besuchs vorgefunden habe. Bedenkt das als Betreiber bitte, wenn ihr meine Zeilen lest. Sollte es ein blöder Tag gewesen sein, dann sorry, aber genau diesen habe ich erwischt.

Sehr aufmerksames Personal und mit guter Beratung (Speisen, Weinauswahl). Das Ambiete ist auch sehr schön. Maritim mit vielen geschmackvollen Ideen. Und perfekt das Essen. Spargelcremesuppe sehr cremig, bzw. gut zubereiteter Ziegenkäse. Das Rumpsteak als Hauptspeise war sehr zart, perfekt Medium. Wer einen schönen Abend verbringen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Eine Reservierung am WE ist zu empfehlen.

Mit unserer Wandergruppe waren wir mit 14 Personen am Nachmittag im Außenbereich des Restaurant Treibholz. Bei dem freundlichen und aufmerksamen Personal orderten wir Kaffee und Kuchen. Leckerer Rhabarberkuchen und Käsekuchen, große Eisbecher (€ 8,90) .Bequeme Bestuhlung und schöner Blick zum See. Gepflegte Gartenanlage, mehrere Strandkörbe mit Selbstbedienung. Die Preise schon im oberen Bereich. Ein Becher Kaffee € 4,60.

Eigentlich war das Frühstücksbuffet schon beendet, wir haben aber trotzdem noch frühstücken können, toller Service und schönes Ambiente 🌷🌷🌷

Netter Ort Kuchen schmeckt auch gut aber 4,60 für ein Stück Apfelkuchen und 1,50 Euro für die Sahne finde ich schon sehr heftig.

...ein schöner Ausgangspunkt um das Zwischenahner Meer und seine Umgebung zu erkunden. Wir haben uns im Hotel für zwei Tage in der Junior Suite eingenistet und sind hellauf begeistert. Vom freundlichen Empfang an der Rezeption bis zum netten Personal beim Frühstücksbüffet sind alle Mitarbeiter zuvorkommend, nett und am Gast orientiert unterwegs. Hier können wir uns gut erholen! Die beschriebene Kritik am Restaurant konnten wir bei unserem Besuch so nicht feststellen, auch hier waren wir mit der Auswahl unseres Essens und dem netten Service sehr zufrieden. Danke für die schöne Zeit!

Fantastisch Lecker essen Service mega

Ein sehr schönes Ambiente. Komne gerne hier her. Entweder zum Kaffee oder zum warmen essen verzehren. Die Athmosphäre hier ist angenehm. Man kann am Tisch sitzen oder man entspannt auf sitzsäcken und Hängematten. Im Hintergrund hört man ein plätschern, was sehr zur Entspannung beiträgt.

Wir waren hier zum Essen. Sehr nette Bedienung, das Essenangebot etwas klein, Beilage immer Pommes musste das gleiche bezahlen, wie die anderen, obwohl ich ohne Pommes bestellt hatte. Ich finde, zu einem Hamburger braucht man keine Pommes. Außerdem war viel zu viel Ziegenkäse in dem Hamburger und kein Fleisch. War aber lecker. Die Preise waren etwas hoch.

Sehr sehr schöne Location, prima Essen (der Spargel war abends 22.6.22) allerdings leider nicht so der Hit und dafür zu teuer). Aber sonst sehr lecker.und mit sehr schönem Ausblick von der Terrasse.

Essen super lecker nette Bedienung

Da ich 14 Tage hier bin, wechselten die 2 Köche ständig. Man merkte dann gravierende Unterschiede. Ich glaube der jüngere Koch kocht nicht gut.Sie haben auch schon zu zweit in der Küche gekocht. Dann ging alles schneller und schmeckte auch fantastisch. Ich musste sehr oft, sehr lange auf mein Hauptgericht warten. Und dann war es nicht okay. 2Mal musste ich den Spargel zurück geben, weil er Knochen hart war. Und beim 2.mal immer noch. Ich esse gerne Spargel mit Butter und Drillinge. Es ging gar nicht. Komisch beim Anderen Gericht gab es Spargel Ragout dabei, der war wieder astrein. Also können sie es ja. Warum nicht immer?

Es war wunderschönes Wetter. Die Terrasse war sehr gut besucht. Meine Hochachtung gilt dem Personal. Sie haben großartiges geleistet. Dankeschön

Personal sehr höflich und nett und. Der Kuchen war sehr lecker (hätte einen Stern mehr verdient). Der Cappuccino war leider wenig schmackhaft (dünn und wässrig). Location sehr gut.
