We had to wait a long time for the menu and our food: gyros and an ionion platter. It tasted good, but unfortunately had already cooled down considerably. Both dishes were very manageable. The prices are very high, even though prices have generally increased everywhere. The wine is too expensive, and unfortunately, the glasses weren't calibrated like in other wine bars. I'm not sure if they were really 0.2 liters. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio isn't right. They used to offer a free ouzo after dinner, but that's no longer available. Apart from the great location, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

The location in the harbor is priceless, which is naturally reflected in the prices. However, they are freshly prepared and very generous. I chose two appetizers and couldn't even finish them all.

We were there two years ago and the food was delicious. We went back this year. It was our 42nd wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, the food was a disaster. The gyro was very dry and overseasoned with far too much paprika. The potato chips were swimming in grease. Only the side salad was okay. And the prices were hefty. When we told the waitress that the food today unfortunately didn't live up to our expectations, she just shrugged her shoulders and left without comment. I've never experienced a Greek restaurant at least offering a glass of ouzo on the house. We'll be crossing this restaurant off our list of favorite restaurants.

The restaurant is mediocre. On a hot summer day, I ordered a salad. The vegetables were fresh, but cut much too large, with hardly any vinegar, barely any oil, and only a minimal amount of salt and pepper. There were no seasonings on the table either. At least the garlic bread was good.

We ate at To Limani today for our wedding anniversary. We sat outside in the outdoor area and were truly delighted. The service was very friendly, attentive, and courteous. The food was excellent. The appetizer platter for two had a good selection of hot and cold appetizers. Delicious creams, crispy melizanes, warm feta, a delicious stuffed pepper... everything your heart desires. The Limani platter for two included great gyros, well-fried souvlaki that were still juicy on the inside, light and fluffy bifteki, and two delicious little lamb chops. The potatoes served were also delicious and not greasy. The quantity was more than sufficient, and the value for money was completely justified. The wine we drank was the right temperature, and the water wasn't too cold. All in all, we can recommend a visit; for us, it was like a mini vacation with friendly hosts overlooking Schiersteiner Harbor.

After my most recent visit, I've retracted my previous very good review. The location and view are still great, of course. The wine prices have increased, and the quality has deteriorated. The red wine was poor, and the rosé wine was abysmal. We were given a new rosé, which was much better, but it wasn't listed on any menu. The appetizer plate was delicious. The main course was okay. However, for the first time, it was served without tzatziki, which would have been expensive to order separately. The potato chips with the main course were cold. We enjoyed visiting this restaurant for many years. Now, it's no longer recommended.

It was really good and we'll be back. The atmosphere was really great, right on the water. The food was also great. I can recommend it.

Unfortunately, it's sad that there is no longer any freedom of expression in DE. Subjective feelings will be viewed as defamation and posts will be deleted. Actual post: You don't even know where to start... Upon entering, I noticed that the floor (tiles) seemed sticky in places. I can't say for sure whether this was due to grease or not very thorough cleaning. The seating seemed very cramped after 6 p.m., which made sitting less comfortable for me. The restaurant was busy, which is certainly a positive sign, but the small space did lead to some discomfort. The service was of the standard you would expect in a restaurant - neither particularly outstanding nor negatively noticeable. Fortunately, the food was served quickly, but the enthusiasm didn't last long. The salads were rather small, and no bread, oil or vinegar was served at the beginning, as is common in many Greek restaurants. Bread and tzatziki had to be ordered separately, with the tzatziki alone costing €6.90 - overall a price that I found to be rather high. Our appetizer plate was missing grape leaves, which I would have expected. Instead, gratinated zucchini slices were served, which were quite greasy for my taste. The price of €26.90 seemed rather high in relation to what was on offer. The gyro did not meet my expectations: the portion contained less than 12 potato slices and a comparatively small amount of meat. Since this is not expensive meat such as loin or fillet, I didn't find the price-performance ratio to be optimal - especially at a price of just under €19.90. We were there with eight people, everyone ordered a starter and main course and two drinks. The bill came to just under €450.00. For what we received, I felt the price was high. In addition, an additional amount was charged for packaging the leftover food, which I noticed negatively. There are certainly restaurants that offer better value for money. The location may be a plus for some, but for us it was probably our first and last visit.

We didn't come for food but for coffee, even though they didn't list that they offer coffee, they were willing and served us in a polite way. We thank them very much!!

A very nicely located restaurant, also nice and pleasant inside. Service friendly and unobtrusive. The food is too expensive for the quality. Potato chips are soggy, meat seasoned averagely, the best thing was the dessert (cake), which was included on the house. We recommend the starters, which are also reasonably priced.

Wir waren schon mehr als 20 mal an Silvester hier. Der Kellner sehr freundlich, hat uns gut beraten. Das Essen war wie immer sehr lecker und liebevoll zubereitet und dekoriert. Brot gab es dieses Jahr nicht aber im Nachhinein war es auch so für uns okay. Es war für uns ein gelungener letzter Abend im Jahr.

Wir waren mit der Firma zur Weihnachtsfeier dort. Leider waren viele Fleischgerichte der Mitarbeiter von der Qualität und Zubereitung mangelhaft. Gerichte teils halb kalt serviert, in Schweinespieße teils Knorpel oder Sehnen oder total durch und trocken. Hier stimmt Preis/Leistung überhaupt nicht. Und jetzt der Hammer, nachdem viele Mitarbeiter gegangen sind und nur noch vier übrig waren, kam der Kellner mit dem Argument, jetzt könnte man einen Ouzo ausgeben. So etwas macht man nicht. Ich kann das Lokal definitiv nicht empfehlen und werde es privat auch nicht mehr besuchen.

Die Portionen waren sehr gut bei Platten und Fleischgerichten, das Moussaka allerdings klein, ohne Beilagensalat, trocken, d.h. nicht empfehlenswert und das für 21 EUR. Die Zubereitung der weiteren Speisen war gut, die Preise ebenfalls zu hoch dafür. Die Lage ist natürlich toll.

Perfect dining experience - Every time My girlfriend and I dined here multiple times during our stay, and each visit was exceptional. First time in the restaurant there. Arrived at 9:20 p.m. Although according to the menu the kitchen would be open for 40 minutes, PRESSURE was applied that you HAD to order. Too bad! Not barrier-free... lots of stairs. 2 out of 4 of us are severely disabled and also have walking difficulties. So the situation is rather suboptimal! The boss sits at the table next to us and loudly watches videos on her cell phone. The boss removes the leftover food from his mouth with his hand and rummages around in his mouth. Service is not nice, "black humor" = funny sayings. When asked about bread with the soup, reference was made to the baguette that my companion had ordered = I should help myself to the bread of the companion. Farmer's soup mediocre... Vineyard leaves and Greek noodles okay. Empty glasses on the table, the service never asked whether new drinks were needed. Salad (still full) was simply cleared away even though it was still supposed to be eaten! Knives are not sharp and are reminiscent of hospital knives. Bosses sit at the table next to us with service and smoke, smoke wafts from them. Even though we have asthma... The potato slices are TOP. Conclusion: New guests here have the justified impression that they do not feel valued. You feel ABSOLUTELY NOT welcome. We wouldn't come here again. Sat there for an hour with 4 people and spent almost €150. We were actually good guests economically. Very disappointed!

Anyone expecting the To Limani from 15 years ago will unfortunately be disappointed. The food is nowhere near as good as it was back then. In general, I cannot recommend the restaurant at the moment. However, the atmosphere right at the harbor is nice. However, prices, quality of food and quantity of food do not match. The taste of the food is okay, but nothing special. The prices appear to be relatively normal considering the current price situation. Unfortunately, the portions are extremely small, which means that the prices are ultimately far too high - in addition to the mediocre quality. Unfortunately, due to the change in ownership and the current owner and restaurant management, the restaurant To Limani is no longer a place to go if you want to have a good and appealing Greek meal.

Four of us were here on a Sunday. The ambience is beautifully located by the water, the interior is a bit rusty. We waited about 70 minutes for the main course! The food just wasn't good and wasn't even snack quality! Gyros very greasy and unappetizing, skewers very very very dry and inedible, potatoes very greasy and not seasoned at all! The food was complained about, taken away and then the full bill was charged! Unprofessional in my opinion!

Ich fange mit dem Positiven an. Das Restaurant ist seit unserem letzten Besuch vor vielen Jahren renoviert und neu gestaltet worden, und bietet ein sehr schönes Ambiente. Die Terrasse bietet im Sommer herrliche Blicke auf den Schiersteiner Hafen. Die Bedienung war sehr höflich und freundlich. Aber dann kam das Essen. Mein Souvlaki mit Kartoffelscheiben war vermutlich völlig ohne Gewürze - noch nicht mal Salz. Das Fleisch war sehr fest, und die Kartoffelscheiben, in einer Schüssel aufeinandergelegt, waren durchgeweicht. Ich kenne diese Kartoffelscheiben gut gewürzt und knusprig, aber so war es leider kein Genuss. Selbst der Tzaziki war ziemlich flau im Geschmack. Die anderen in der Gruppe hatten geschmorte Lammgerichte, welche durch die Garweise wohl schmackhafter waren. Der Salat war gut. Der Naussa hat wie Essig geschmeckt. Alles in allem war der Besuch in diesem Restaurant enttäuschend, besonders weil das Lokal selbst sehr vielversprechend wirkt, aber vielleicht hatte ich nur an dem Tag Pech.

We were interested in the event hall for our wedding. The owner gave us a very unfriendly welcome and didn't even want to show us the hall. Hello, we had dinner at Talima in Schierstein today. My wife ordered bifteki and I ordered calfskin. There was also a side salad and, as a starter, tzatziki with very tasty bread. We both enjoyed it excellently. We can only recommend the restaurant and will come back soon. By the way, the terrace with the outdoor area is well worth seeing. Kind regards, Michael L.

Wir waren hier am 26.12.23, mit 11 Personen!! Tolles Ambiente, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter!! Die Getränke wurden schnell serviert, das Essen wurde ebenfalls für uns alle rasch serviert! Es hat allen 11 Personen geschmeckt, wir hatten nichts zu beanstanden!! Herzlichen Dank an das Team, es war ein gelungenes Weihnachtsessen! Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen!!

Sehr freundliches Personal, man sitzt auch schön (innen) außen natürlich erst recht. Das Dessert aufs Haus war herausragend gut. Das Gyros war zu fettig, genauso wie die Kartoffelscheiben, die ich mir knusprig gewünscht hätte. Der Tzatziki ohne Geschmack. Der Salat war lecker. Mein Rotwein (Biskas) war auch gut, jedoch hätte der Wein etwas großzügiger eingeschenkt werden können, es war nur kurz unter Eichstrich. Und mit 7,90€ nicht gerade preiswert. Dazu sind die Preise durchaus gehoben, was nicht der Qualität des Essens entspricht. Schade.

Die Lage ist gut, die Bedienung auch ok. Der Mokka ist gut, dem Essen fehlt das typisch griechische, die Preise sind nicht erfreulich

Das essen war einfach der knaller die Vorspeise oha das sollte man unbedingt bestellen es war ein Genuss und ich würde immer wieder nur wegen der Vorspeise hingehen mmm ist zu empfehlen

Ambiente im Restaurant ansprechend, Bedienung freundlich, leider stimmen beim Essen Qualität und Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht ... die Vorspeisenplatte war noch vertretbar aber die Qualität des Fleisches der Hauptspeisen war nicht gut (Gyros viel zu fettig, Spieß nicht zart, Bifteki war schon auf dem Teller auseinandergefallen), Kartoffelscheiben, Brot und Zaziki "Geschmacksache" ... dies auch noch in Kombination mit den ambitionierten Preisen, sorry das passt leider nicht zusammen und geht bei anderen griechischen Restaurants deutlich besser/schmackhafter ... wir werden euch trotzdem im kommenden Sommer nochmal eine Chance geben und checken ob ihr euch die Bewertungen zu Herzen genommen habt 😉

Leider war mein Gyros angebrannt, schmeckte entsprechend und war für mich ungenießbar. Ambiente: Ansprechend...aber bei Vollbesetzung einfach zu laut, dass man sich kaum unterhalten kann...hier fehlen Schallschutzmaßnahmen.

Sehr lecker, super liebes Personal und das Ambiente wenn man draußen sitzt einfach wunderschön. Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder.

Man sitzt sehr schön am Rhein und das Essen ist sehr lecker. Wie überall haben die Preise etwas angezogen, die Portionen hier sind jedoch angemessen und qualitativ wie geschmacklich echt toll. Der Wein könnte etwas großzügiger ausgeschenkt werden, da er teils nicht mal bis zum Eistrich reicht, das möge ich negativ anmerken. Per se komme ich sehr gerne. Der Service war demletzt am Mittagstisch sehr schnell und freundlich. Das Essen war dadurch nicht schlechter sondern kam frisch, warm und lecker aus der Küche. Wenn der Service so schnell ist, eignet sich der Mittagstisch mit seinen extra Angeboten (kleinere Portionen) gut für eine Mittagspause, sodass man nicht viel Zeit verliert.

Das Essen hat uns leider gar nicht geschmeckt. Ich hatte die frittierten Auberginen, die haben wirklich nach gar nichts geschmeckt. Auch der überbackene Schafskäse war nur so lala. Preise sind extrem hoch! 9 Euro für einen Aperol, der fast ausschließlich aus Eiswürfeln bestand. Am Ende des Abends wollte ich mein Essen eingepackt haben, das wurde auch gemacht. Jedoch wurden mir 1.50 Euro für die Verpackung berechnet. Habe ich noch nie erlebt! Zudem wurde ich da vorher auch nicht drauf hingewiesen.

Sehr zuvorkommender Service. Der Wolfsbarsch war superlecker! Auf der Terrasse ist es besonders schön mit phantastischem Blick auf den Schiersteiner Hafen.
