Nur die Preise aber wohl mittlerweile Standard

Ambiente wäre gut gewesen, allerdings heißt es für mein Verständnis das wenn man draussen sitzt,auch Luft bekommt. Saßen mit einem Kleinkind "draußen" allerdings würde da geraucht. Bei der Frage obal die Plastikplane hoch machen könne um Luft rein zu lassen, wurde verneint mit der Begründung das es nicht ginge. Man sa aber das man den Verschluss einfach hätte Aufmachen können. Somit bezahlte ich nur unsere Getränke und gingen. War leider das letzte Mal, aber man muss sich nicht alles gefallen lassen.

Auf der Karte und Rechnung stehen 2 Bifteki, auf dem Teller liegt nur eines

Sehr freundliche Bedienung und gutes Essen, leider war der Biergarten noch nicht geöffnet.

Das Essen war fantastisch, voller Geschmack und wirklich frisch. Das Personal ist freundlich und sorgt dafür, dass man sich willkommen fühlt. Die Atmosphäre ist warm und entspannt. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Ein griechisches Lokal mit dem Ambiente und den Speisen von vor 25 Jahren. Solide, vorhersehbar und daher wenig aufregend. Leider haben sich, wie fast überall, aber die Preise weiterentwickelt. Die Frage ist, ob man bei dem Angebot für Hauptgänge durch die Bank zwischen 20 und 30 € verlangen kann. Ich habe hierzu eine Meinung.

Ein verstecktes Juwel in der Nachbarschaft. Nur 13 Autominuten vom Wiesbadener Stadtzentrum entfernt. Freundliches, schnelles, zuvorkommendes und professionelles Personal. Gemütliches, klassisches und sauberes Ambiente. Die Getränke waren eiskalt, das Essen lecker, heiß und hausgemacht (das frisch gebackene Pita ist ein Muss!). Hier gibt es außerdem einen der besten Espressos in Wiesbaden. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder. Ein wirklich gelungenes Essen, das wir sehr genossen haben.

Das Fleisch war ok. Das Essen hat zu wenig Rafinesse für den Preis.

Nette und freundliche Gastro. Essen ist gut und das Ambiente auch. Preis ist ok. Kann man ohne Bedenken hingehen.

Die Bedienung war sehr nett und zuvor kommend, sehr aufmerksam. Vorspeise gabe es gebackene Zucchini sehr lecker, Zaziki auch sehr gut. Gyrosteller hat uns persönlich nicjt geschmeckt. Fleisch war teils angebrant. Und trocken, wobei es auch richtig dicke Fettstücke grin gab. Knusprig war es leider für nicht. Die Kattoffelscheiben waren leider nicht mal gesalzen und haben nach nichts geschmeckt. Schade, wir kommen nicht mehr wieder.

Leider ist dieses Restaurant im Winter nicht zu empfehlen, da die Heizung immer ausgeschaltet ist. Bei Minusgraden zieht es eiskalt durch, wenn jemand hereinkommt oder auf die Toilette geht, wo es fast so kalt ist wie draußen. Ein gemütliches Zusammensitzen ist daher nicht möglich, da man ganz durchgefroren ist. Schade, da das Fleisch immer sehr gut ist. Grillgemüse wird aber auch halbkalt und zu sehr al dente zubereitet. Einen Kinderteller gibt es leider auch nicht.

Aber lecker, kann ich nur empfehlen. Im Sommer kann man auch sehr schön im Garten sitzen. Wir waren auch schon spontan ohne Reservierung da, aber ob das immer geht weiß ich nicht.

Essen sehr gut und große Portion. Das Personal war am Anfang bei der Bestellung etwas unwirsch hat sich aber dann gebessert und konnte auch einmal lächeln.

Quo vadis Vassili? Immer wieder Gast, doch die Küche und/oder die Zutaten haben sich geändert. Wir hatten jetzt 2 x hintereinander eine „durchwachsene“ Erfahrung. Juwetzi Gyros ist nur noch eine Sahne/Bechamel- Pampe ohne wirklichen griechischen Geschmack. Alles wird teurer, das ist leider so, aber die Portionen werden kleiner. Nicht witzig 🤨 Aubergine und Gemüse top, das Fleisch teilweise einfach trocken. Vielleicht steht es auch zu lange in der Ausgabe. Das Team ist allerdings sehr nett und pfiffig. Werden es sicherlich noch einmal probieren, dann sehen wir weiter 🤔

Wir kommen seit Jahren regelmäßig hierher und sind jedes Mal begeistert. Das Essen ist frisch, authentisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet, das merkt man sofort. Der Besitzer führt das Restaurant mit Leidenschaft und das ganze Team ist herzlich, aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Wundervolles und einladendes Ambiente! Man fühlt sich hier nicht einfach wie ein Gast, sondern willkommen wie bei Freunden. Wer griechische Küche und echte Gastfreundschaft erleben möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch!!

Freundliche Begrüßung und freundliche Behandlung. Leider immer sehr ausgebucht an den Wochenenden. Früh den Tisch reservieren um so sicherer bekommt man den Platz den man mag.

We were at Taverna Vassili on August 24, 2025. The food was beautifully served, and the beef I ordered was tender as butter, but unfortunately tasted a bit harsh, so I suspected it was mutton. Unfortunately, my friend's bifteki were served half-raw. We very politely sent his dish back, which the waitress was already annoyed about. The bifteki came back shredded with blackened crusts and the rude words, "Even more dead." What a nerve! After we complained again, my friend received bifteki that weren't cooked all the way through. The waitress tried to excuse this by trying to pass it off as the meat being succulent thanks to the tomato juice. I'll definitely never go back here! It can always happen that a dish isn't as it should be. But such rude "service" – that's completely unacceptable. Afterwards, I learned from friends that the quality has left a lot to be desired since the change of ownership.

I would have loved to eat there...but when I asked if card payments were possible (it says so on Google...but I've had negative experiences), I was told it was only possible if I spent €40 or more...so I left because I don't eat for €40 as a single person....It's a shame - the ambience and the menu were promising....

Super friendly, fast service. All the food was delicious.

We stopped in spontaneously today. A friendly welcome and a nice outdoor table. However, we were a little shocked by the rather poorly designed plates. Two bifteki, each the size of a hand, and rather dry potato slices, even though the menu said it came with rice. €20 - wow. The Vassili grilled plate for just under €30 was appalling. A bifteki, also only the size of a hand, and a small piece of pork fillet and even less lamb, and the potato slices on the side. We're not used to a so-called "grilled plate." Everything tasted okay, but it wasn't a revelation. So, it will be our first and last time.

The food was missing a bit of salt and garlic...otherwise it was really very good....

We spontaneously went there yesterday without a reservation. Almost all the tables were reserved, however. We still got a nice table, and our drinks arrived in no time, along with a water for the dog without even being asked. Very attentive and friendly service. The selection is extensive. The food is nicely presented and tasty. The gyro could have been a bit bigger with the dollop of tzatziki. The fried potatoes were super crispy and not at all greasy. Our visit under the large, old trees was wonderful. The value for money and the ambiance are just right. We'll definitely be back soon – but then with a reservation.

A regular for years (almost weekly!!!!)! The positive sub-stars are justified for the restaurant! But since I only ordered ONE dish 95% of the time, and they decided to remove this ONE important dish from the menu, my world has collapsed. This dish reminds me of my childhood. They cooked it 100% exactly as I remember it. Now it's no longer available... I love this restaurant, but I'm DEEPLY sad that I can't get it anymore and probably won't be able to go there anymore! I would love to continue being a guest, like I did in the years before, but UNFORTUNATELY, I can't be anymore... and that hurts. To love a restaurant that serves THE dish you associate with so much, and then you can't order it anymore. Thank you for giving me a lifetime experience for so many years! BUT UNFORTUNATELY, I can't be a guest anymore... In deep sadness! All the best!

Great greek restaurant with wide offer of typical greek dishes. Nice people as well and we received the meal quickly. I recommend baked pasta with meat and cheese or just gyros (big portion).

Food was good. It was well stocked, which is why repeat orders took a little longer. Service could be a little more attentive.

The two of us arrived spontaneously, without prior reservation, on a Saturday evening around 4:35 p.m. Although the restaurant wasn't supposed to open until 5:00 p.m., the owner let us in at 4:40 p.m. and showed us to a nice table for two. Very attentive and friendly service – without batting an eyelid, the waitress accommodated our "shared hunger" and served us a small appetizer plate (for one person) followed by a portion of "Gigantes" – both dishes served with two plates and the appropriate bread. Really friendly and appreciative of us – that, of course, was worth a corresponding tip! We will be back!!! Promise!!! You've worked your way onto our personal "10 charts" of the most worth-visiting restaurants! Really!

Der Biergarten ist wirklich wunderschön – eine tolle Atmosphäre zum Verweilen und Genießen. Leider konnte das Essen da nicht mithalten. Es war insgesamt recht fad und geschmacklos. Das Zaziki wurde mit Dill zubereitet, aber frischer Knoblauch war leider nicht herauszuschmecken. Auch die Kartoffelscheiben waren trocken und ohne besonderen Geschmack. Schade – bei diesem schönen Ort hätte ich mir mehr Genuss gewünscht.

No nos trataron bien, aunque habíamos hecho reserva no había mesa reservada, y aunque el restaurante estaba casi vacío nos ofrecieron la peor mesa posible. Mi acompañante pidió un plato que no tenía lo descrito en el menú. Luego de que ella se quejó, le trajeron lo que faltaba pero le cobraron extra. En definitiva una experiencia terrible, no recomiendo este lugar. Hay muy buenos restaurantes griegos en Wiesbaden, pero este no es uno de ellos.

Delicious food! Great location right next to the Schloss Biebrich park. After dinner, a lovely walk through the park. Never experienced how quickly the food was on the table here. Within 10 minutes. Very fast, and certainly friendly service

Friendly service, no problem. The food was also meticulously prepared, but also simple Greek fare. However, we found the prices steep. A single grilled octopus arm as an appetizer for €17 is quite steep. A total of over €100 for two appetizers and two main courses, plus four drinks, was a bit steep in our opinion... The "best Greek restaurant in Wiesbaden" will have to get by without us in the future :)

Vasilli ist definitiv mein Lieblingsgrieche in Wiesbaden. Tolle Atmosphäre, insbesondere im Sommer unter dem Baum, toller Service und leckeres Essen. Kleine Einschränkung: Scheinbar wurde die Speisekarte vor einiger Zeit geändert, günstige Gerichte gestrichen und zum Teil die Preise sehr stark erhöht. Beispiel, zwei Lammspieße mit Kartoffelscheiben nun fast 29 €. Das macht sich bemerkbar! Statt 45-50 € für zwei Personen, wie noch vor einiger Zeit betrug nun die Rechnung 75 €. Für mich stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis leider nicht mehr. Dann kann ich auch zu Nobelitaliener gehen… Natürlich gehen wir weiter zu unserem Lieblingsgriechen, aber definitiv aber nicht mehr so oft. Sehr schade.

Used to be our "favorite Greek restaurant." The outdoor terrace under the walnut tree is wonderful! Parking is also very good. On our last few visits, the portions have become smaller and more expensive. The value for money is no longer there. The service is good and fast. All in all, the trip is no longer worth it for us for this price-performance ratio. What a shame....

Too expensive I can understand price increases, but when portions become too small at the same time, I get frustrated. For example: Fried zucchini slices with tzatziki (appetizer) cost €8.50 – it comes with 6 slices of zucchini 😳. Really? Zucchini aren't that expensive, so I expected more for the price. Service was nice and friendly as always.

A very nice Greek beer garden in the heart of Biebrich. According to my Greek companion, it's considered very authentic.

Disappointing for a Greek. At the beginning there was lettuce leaves with ready-made dressing, which is unusual for Greek food. A few olives would have done the trick too. The meat was okay, the fish platter was a disappointment. All frozen fish, all fried plus frozen fried potato slices. Even the fish fillet was fried and was correspondingly hardened. It used to be a very good Greek restaurant. It used to be, unfortunately. We ate there again for lunch today and were completely disappointed. The so-called gyros were just completely over-seasoned crumbs, everything else on my grill plate was OK but very clear, 2 small skewers and a bit of rice. The price-performance ratio was absolutely not there, in my opinion it was far too expensive and the weapon didn't taste good either. For us it was probably the last time... a shame.

I once posted that it was the best Greek gyros of my life. Unfortunately I had to delete the post. Out of 4 dishes, 1 was good. The zander fillet. Gyros dry, that Potato slices, probably frozen goods, boring in taste. Guys, there's a better way! An additional portion of fries would have cost 4.40 euros as well as rice. Real? 4.40 euros for extra fries? Gyros very dry and cut really small. Very over-seasoned. Don't think we'll see each other again. Kind regards.

Nicely located in the castle park but the food wasn't tasty. The salad was bland, just green lettuce, a bit of coleslaw with three snippets of carrot. The casserole warmed up and not hot, the gyros dry. It's ok to have a drink outside in the neighborhood in the evening. You can eat Greek better in Wiesbaden.

A piece of Greece directly at the Biebrich Castle Park If you want to enjoy original Greek specialties, this is the right place for you. No matter what you choose from the extensive menu, it is a poem. You can only get something so delicious on the palate in Greece. Especially the service, the warmth, the love of dogs and children make the feeling of being welcome complete. As an allergy sufferer, it is difficult for me to get tasty and varied food in most restaurants. At Vassili I don't just get chicken skewers with tzatziki. Today I ate Juwtzi with beef, Greek pasta and cheese gratinated. There was also a salad. The coleslaw is to die for. Before that I had beetroot salad with garlic. My husband enjoyed his chitpiti and biftekia. In addition to the incredibly good taste, the dishes at Vassili are characterized by the fact that there are no flavor enhancers or other artificial substances in the food. If garlic is on the menu, it's not some weird granular thing that gives me an asthma attack. Garlic is just a fresh clove. If I order something without paprika or pepper, I can also rest assured that it won't be in my food. In addition to the culinary enjoyment, the ambience outside is also an oasis of well-being. You can sit under large trees and/or under the glass roof, completely undisturbed from the outside world. Beautiful plants and the romantically lit bar complete the whole thing. The prices are reasonable and fair. Good quality simply cannot come for free. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Fantastically located in the Biebrich Castle Park, in summer with a great outdoor terrace under shady trees or inside with great and comfortable seating. The owner and host does his job with passion, chats with the guests and makes a “normal restaurant visit” very special! With lots of peace and quiet, great conversations and funny stories, you'll feel like you're on vacation! It's rare to get such a family feeling and such pleasant, professional service these days! The food is a real delight. This restaurant offers great spices, flavors and a great variety. Everything hot and juicy, nothing dry or cold. Priced totally fair and reasonable! Keep it up, you are a great team, whether in the service or the kitchen, you can feel it straight away!

Highly recommended! It tastes good, that's the most important thing. The service is very, very nice, polite, caring but not intrusive. The food is served quickly on preheated plates. White fabric ceilings, fresh flowers, good light, nice music. Unfortunately I have to leave tomorrow, otherwise I would come back.

Very nice Greek restaurant. Good service, very good quality. Meat freshly prepared and juicy, side dishes good. Service attentive and not intrusive. Unfortunately my food was no longer really hot when it came to the table. It can happen sometimes, but it still tasted great.

Went to dinner with our regular table of seven people. The service was friendly and very nice. Unfortunately, I wasn't very impressed with the food. Gyros were dry and not very spicy, as were the rest of the dishes. Prices are too high for what you get in return. Stivado with Lamb over 20€ 🙈Hello! Those were three small pieces of meat with potato slices. So it probably won't be my favorite Greek🤨

We got a spot at short notice on a Saturday evening. The restaurant exceeded our expectations. Top service. We only waited 20 minutes for our food, which isn't something you find very often these days. We had the grill plate for 3 (No. 113 for €65.90) ​​with tzatziki and a side salad.

The Taverna Vassili, or Taverna PASSili. We came for dinner with friends and thought we were paying for our meal, but apparently we pay for everyone else's too. For a dessert ordered, the second is offered on the bill. What a shame because this restaurant seems to have potential.

A remake of the Greek version of the Troika in a formerly Nazified country. Find the error?? Service of the worst kind. After dinner at their house, I bought shares in SMECTA.

I thought carefully about writing something, the two of us had dinner in this restaurant about 2 months ago. The last time I was there was about 10 years ago and I had very good memories. Unfortunately the visit was a complete failure, I've never eaten so badly in a long time, carelessly dressed and over-salted salad, burnt beef cake and unfriendly service. Price performance ratio a disaster. over 60 euros for 2 people. One had the feeling of mass processing. It's a shame, basically a very nice garden to sit outside. There are much better Greek restaurants in Wiesbaden. I put the place on my red list.
